4321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the US Government Trying To Control Crypto? on: September 24, 2019, 11:58:33 PM
One possible way for them to control crypto is to control the news,
they cant totally control the news but they can make false acts about bitcoins and the news can still cover it   . aside from the news , they can also control bitcoin by manipulating its price the only thing that they might consider is that if  it will be effective or not ? since people are already used to the news and on the manipulation .  they can now take control whenever that situation happens
4322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin and casinos on: September 24, 2019, 11:18:50 PM
This is a question that has to do with the lack of regulations and the lack of interest from people who go to offline casinos, for example:

What would be the benefit of people who would go to an offline casino and use bitcoin? remembering the high volatility bitcoin:

until yesterday the bitcoin price was $9800 and today it has dropped to $9400 which is currently at $9500

so high bitcoin volatility will be another problem for offline casinos that will accept bitcoin

being volatile is not a problem for offline casino but also on online as well  . i mainly use bitcoins online and i also use bitcoin to play on an  online gambling  . there are times that bitcoin is going in a volatile rage event where it fluctuates every minute or two  . i expereince to loose just after the deposit happens  . offline casinos are not lack of regulation but being offline actually means that they are more regulated than the online one's    .

the interest for the offline casino are still there but the question is what about the interest for bitcoin  ?
4323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Marketing for ICO and IEO on: September 24, 2019, 10:41:02 PM
Hi everyone, I'm interested in the differences between ICO and IEO in terms of marketing strategies and techniques. Has anyone participated in a successfull IEO as a contractor or investor and saw any major changes?

when it comes to marketing  ,  ico will win i think because they are doing lots of marketing stuffs and gimmicks  example the bonuses that they offer ,  they post ads around the web and on other ico listing sites as well as bounty and airdrops sites   . posting ads on the forum  specifically on the bounty section and also they create a seperate ann thread  . lastly they can run a bounty campaign or a sig campaign whilest  on the other hand i dont see that an ieo can do all this stuff  .   the main asset of ieo is that its being promoted by an exchanges , so if its an old exchange the ieo can get instant populaarity .
4324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Online Casino has the Most Fun Games? Recommendations? on: September 24, 2019, 04:03:48 PM

its not just about fun, its about wining.

but what if he only wanted to enjoy and have fun  ?  you know money cant buy happines . some people are wealthy but still cant find happiness   . gambling is not about winning but its about having fun and hanging out with other gamblers  .

Quote
you'd not enjoy something when you are not winning.
only if your aim is to earn but if your goal is not the cash , loosing is not you biggest concern  . some can even prepare a good amount of capital just to spend quality time on the game .

Quote
i sometimes play and often lose but when i win, its fun.
winning is surely fun not because of the money but because you prove something that its possible to win in a game of luck and that is gambling  . loosing often is also normal so dont despair
4325  Economy / Economics / Re: Which currency will dominate the crypto market? Please vote! on: September 24, 2019, 02:34:06 PM
I still think bitcoin is dominant for the next 10 years at CMC.
because there are so many people mentioning bitcoin now and they are often fomo for new people, from there the wave of bitcoin will expand further and its buying demand will increase.

10 years is quite a bit long and there are many unexpected events that can happen during that date . there are those possibilities that bitcoin can be surpass by other coins  and bitcoin can only became the second ranked coin or lower than that but i find it okay  .

no problem about the ranks but what important for me is that btc is still the original and first  so i will still continue to show my respect and support on it   .
4326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need anonymity? on: September 24, 2019, 01:41:14 PM
About 80% of people in the crypto ecosystem believe that anonymity is the best option for financial transactions on a decentralized system due to the fact that anyone can easily monitor and track every transactions made on the network. But me personally, I don't see anything useful with anonymity.  I don't really think the crypto space needs it.
I think so, because honestly I myself first joined crypto because I was interested in the anonymous innovations brought about. I often gamble, and gambling is something that is prohibited in my country, even the law states give prison sentence for the players. Crypto anonymity is very good for my undercover transactions, so crypto anonymity is very important to me

thats one of the reason why people need to become anonymous and not just because they wanted to do shady deals but unlike you , i first joined crypto not because of its anon feature but i find it cool to have a digital currency that are less stricter and less hassel than the exiting digital payment methods  . you did mention that gambling is restricted ? but you can still  use some censorship circumvention tools so that you are not trackable aside from using a crypto .
4327  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betmatch.io on: September 24, 2019, 10:18:31 AM
The design is suspiciously similar to sportsbet.io

Maybe they are owned by the same team, or one simply closed the others template

Or perhaps they both used off the shelf templates to build their platform.

not just the design but if you will read thier site name they also have that ".io" as thier end domain name  but im not saying that its suspecious because of that  . theres actually lots of gambling sites that have a " .io" domain  as well as simillar designs .

some are owned by the same owner and some are only using a simillar software  or template  but they arent related to each other   ,  its not new but this does not also mean that they are shady  . still need to do your own research and gamble only what you can afford  .
4328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Token Swaps Kill The Idea Of Hodling on: September 24, 2019, 07:44:23 AM
i experienced this one before but luckily i did already sell my token just before they upgrade it  . if i dont do that i think i will regret forever because there is no possible way to sell the old token that i have  . your right , not all times we can be updated on thier channels or on thier groups because we do also do other things and we also follow other projects  . my telegram is now compose of different projects and i find it hard to read the important announcement due to many notifications or new messages that appears constantly  . i agree on the idea of doing automatic swaps or they can just not swap at all to avoid issues from the old investors .
4329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: characteristics of fraudulent projects on: September 24, 2019, 07:13:22 AM
Actually there are many characteristics in a fraudulent project but what I hate the most when the stake calculation has been completed but the gift of prizes that enter our wallet is only half of what is written in this spreadsheet is not fun, why should the team do that even though it has become our right to join the project, be honest, O team, so that the ICO project will continue to grow.

no its not your rights to join thier project but its them because they are the owner  .

they can accept or reject you when you apply  but if let say your already accepted and you saw your rewards already calculated on thier spreadsheet and they dont make any announcement about the reward changes  then its really thier fault if they wont pay as what they promised or written on the sheets  .

you can accuse them by making a scam accuse on the scam accusiation board as long as you supply the format with the correct info/data   .
4330  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 0.3 BTC Wagering Contest 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: September 24, 2019, 05:38:32 AM
yes , usually there is a table updated either in real time or with some slight delay
it shows the current leaderboard and you can decide wherever to try and reach a higher rank and fight for a bigger prize
or do not risk and be satisfied with a smaller prize , sometimes people wager crazy amounts last minutes completely changing the landscape of the contest
with the top prizes well worth fighting for and 50 places total  -snip-
Thanks for your answer once again! So this means the contest is only decided in the last few seconds and wagering any BTC preceding the end of the contest is kinda worthless? Do you know any contests held lately? How high was the highest amount wagered? I am still not sure if I should take part because I really expect crazy amounts to be wagered Wink

as you can see there are 50! places , so you are very likely to score a prize , even if you do not roll for three days in a row
if you want to play smart , you can wager some every day and monitor your progress , compare it to others
the last hour or two before the end , have a look at the table and decide for yourself if it is worth to try and climb the ladder or not
there are different strategies and approaches and no success recipe ( same  as in gambling in general )
but smart players can make money during such promotions , or at least decrease the house's advantage because of the prizes

50 spots may seem to much for a contest like this but you should also consider the number of members that are actively playing on the site  . for sure alot of them are big time players   . ive been on a contest like this before and even though i wagger a good amount of coins , i still dont get on the top list because there are more bigger waggers than me even on the last spot . thier waggers are bigger than their prize , so i think thats not really worth it not unless if you are winning most of your bets .
4331  Economy / Services / Re: ★☆★ 777Coin Signature Campaign ★☆★ (Member-Hero Accepted) (New) on: September 24, 2019, 02:08:04 AM

- edit : its ok now  . thanks
4332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Identify Cryptocurrency Scams on: September 22, 2019, 03:59:20 PM

not all new into the crypto world are highly going to get scammed . what if they are already an existing trader or investor of stocks but they also want to try cryptos  . these guys have an adequate experience to know if the project is scam or legit   .

same as when there is a complete newbie that does not have any experience on money making business but as long as he is a wise guy , he will look for guides and wont easily trust a stranger
4333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Has Altcoin Season Arrived? on: September 22, 2019, 02:30:44 PM
Nope.

It is just a pure manipulation. Did you saw what happened after that pump?? It immediately dumped because the manipulators are just controlling the market and those newbie investors did join the train and now some of them are at loss. In short they got FOMO'ed because they hoped that the pump is the start of the altcoin season. Stupidity

but what does altcoin season mean ? a longer pump duration ? is there such thing as that ? back on the year 2017 , the alts are pumping hard but that only  started on the last quarter ( before the year end ) but after that  , the dump has begin  . that pump dont really last longer though   .

people will just sell hard when they see that prices are starting to move up , thats why the price cant remain high  .
4334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big news for BTC exposure and adoption! on: September 22, 2019, 01:17:19 PM
Although it might not have an extraordinary impact.  At the very least, this can provide awareness to the public about bitcoin.

when people are aware they will curious to try it , thats the time that it will give an imapact on the price of bitcoin

I was able to catch up with the match during the second half of it, I must say I was really amazed and pleased to see btc logo in full display to the entire world,  that ethihada stadium was filled with different fans of football and all of them could see the btc logo going up and down the pitch,
I never thought it will happen so suddenly but it did, hats off to Watford for taking the first step even though the result of the match was not so nice Grin

as a bitcoin owner and hodler , we are proud to see such events like that because we always wanted bitcoin to be promoted on public and it was only a mere dream before but look at it now its now happening in reality .

the result of the match does not matter to me at all but what important is that people will be more familliar to bitcoin after seeing those bitcoin logo's    . i hope this was not the last  .  i wish they will put a logo of bitcoin on other live events like on nba  or on the olympics event so that it can even get a maximum exposure worldwide .
4335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much money do you currently have, you can buy cryptocurrency at the bottom. on: September 22, 2019, 12:11:50 PM
Seeing the bear market at this time I personally still hold some altcoins that have a good reputation and good progress in my wallet and always hope for a bull market again to recover my loss. I don't trade my altcoin because I don't dare to risk losing my money. For now I only trade bitcointo get daily profit even though I get very small profit Grin

hodl is a nice idea to do in a kind of market like this but you can also do buying to have an additional asset on your portfolio  .

dont be afraid to trade your alts as long as you see a good oppurtunity so that you can recovery your past losses quicky instead of waiting for a bull run which is unexpected and could only take forever to come  .

its also okay to get small profits because if you will save it and sum it up , they can also become huge  .
4336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think 40% bonus is too much for early Investors? on: September 22, 2019, 10:04:07 AM
I think 40% bonus is too much,
no . before , ive seen alot of ico's that offers higher bonuses than this  . you can get high bonus the earlier you hop in but fewer bonuses the later .

presenting big bonuses is a kind of promotion to attract people but id say this was a bad move because the higher the bonus will only make you look like a scam ( im not saying all but this is only what i observed to some ico that i see ) they often ended early and cant give what they promise to their investors  .
4337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If regulation never comes on: September 22, 2019, 08:26:46 AM
in my opinion cryptocurrency is a self-regulated product my friend
so we don't need any regulations, because if the regulations comes, this industry will be more complicated

self regulated and being decentralized are i guess have a difference  . i am more convince that cryptos were unregulated but still some of them are regulated or those coins that are centralized  .

those centralized coins can be called self regulated i guess  ?   other stuffs related to cryptos and blockchain like for example trading exchanges  , wallets , sites  .  most of them are regulated  but people dont really have a big problem on them   .
4338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do u think about BNB? Worth to buy? on: September 22, 2019, 07:45:49 AM
Investors needs to be cautious about BNB. It is already having a market capitalization of $3.2 billion, and is currently the eighth largest cryptocurrency in terms of market cap. It's future prospects will depend a lot on the acceptability of the Binance US platform. From what I have heard, the live trading hasn't started yet and as of now it is available in only 37 out of the 50 states. And they have included just 6 coins in the first phase. Just wait for a few months, and invest in BNB only if their US platform is able to attract good volumes.

i heard recently that binance are now open on the u.s therfor bnb has a potential to increase more   . bnb coin is not a kind of scam coin but your right that we still have to be cautious because is like just another crypto that can nose dive despite of its good momentum that is showing  .  bnb coin's value is  still in good shape though so i dont suggest buying it for now but better if we can wait and see if there is an anticipated dip that can happen .
4339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will There Comes A Time That All Online Gambling Sites Are CryptoCurrency Based? on: September 22, 2019, 07:04:14 AM
It's most unlikely to happen. But I'm not saying it's not possible. I just think most people would still prefer fiat over cryptocurrency, not only with gambling but as a general. Since it is the traditional one, it's hard to replace it with crypto-based when everyone were used to play using fiat.

But we are talking about online gambling sites here.

It is true that people will not let go of the traditional one but that would only be in traditional gambling too.

Online gambling will improve, it will develop and eventually, it will be going to that scenario, online gambling sites being cryptocurrency-based. It is a possibility since we are talking about the future.

they will not dissapear but will only evolve into into a better platform  .

im expecting sooner or later that fiat and crypto will work together and gambling sites will also allow fiat and other centralized payment so that every people will also have the experience to try the other that they dont experience before  .  im also expecting that offline gambling places will soon evolve and will accept cryptos  .

i think that would be cool  . there will be no hate but only love  .
4340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Still Better than US Dollar? on: September 21, 2019, 11:21:45 PM
Dollar is a fiat and it can manipulate by the state and bitcoin cannot.
what about those whales ? they are the ones that manipulate bitcoin right ?  bitcoin is the one that is manipulatable the most but fiats like usd are can only be manipulated minimally  . btc is unstable but it can be used on both ways  , that is for investing and paying but usd is more stable but can only be used for paying  . so my vote will go for btc because its a multifunctional  coin plus its also decentralized   . we have a freedom when we use btc than on usd or fiat
