testnet bitcoin tBTC requires mining rigs and electricity to mine and you have to provide reasons to get testnet bitcoin from mocacino. I read drama that lost testnet bitcoin is bigger than lost bitcoin. People less backup their private keys for testnet bitcoin than for bitcoin. It is not a matter in early days but in long run it can create dry out on testnet bitcoin.

I don't know whether the new generation of testnet bitcoin can solve this lost amount.

Chelsea 1 - 3 Manchester City

City scored 2 goals in 3 minutes! I see that chelsea lose before the game ended the first half. sad
This season is bad for Jadon Sancho and good for Phil Foden. If Phil Foden is able to keep up his good performance, Manchester City will have a good free transfer from their home-grown talented player. Phil Foden and Jadon Sancho were grown up in Manchester City but Sancho decided to leave and grow his career in Dortmund. He took a lead in past few season but this one, it seems that Phil Foden took his opportunities in the chaotic season of Manchester City.

It will be interesting to see the personal race between Jadon and Phil if Jadon has a transfer to Manchester United.

4323  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Block reward schedule and average blocks mined per day, where to find info? on: January 04, 2021, 06:48:30 AM
Block rewards, hashrates and average blocks mined per day are correlated with difficulty on the network.
https://diff.cryptothis.com/
The cryptothis.com website gives the estimated difficulty change in the next adjustment. It is informative for miners and people who have stucked, unconfirmed transactions. Changes in difficulty and hashrates can cause consequent changes in mempool.

Don't care how many players Barca is missing I would not put money on Huesca. Hell, even if Barca played with all the youngsters they should be good enough to take a point in game against Huesca. I like to think that I am an objective person and this game should be skipped when betting. There is many more games on offer today with clubs that should have more predictable performances than Barca.
Barcelona is building up their team with a young blood so it is a good support for their progress if the young blood help them to win matches with small clubs. Such results help young players to increase their confidence and in difficult matches, they can be able to get more lessons with support from legendary teammates.

Quote
I was torn between putting my money on Sociedad or Atletico Madrid today and decided on Sociedad. They looked good against Bilbao and hopefully they will start building winning streak today. Atletico Madrid has a great run and I am skipping them just because they have to slip up sooner or latter.
Sociedad is not a bad team but I don't leave my bet on them. I skip the Atletico Madrid too.
4325  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin; Then and Now on: January 03, 2021, 02:27:56 PM
People who want to get money but feel fear of bitcoin crash will end their adventures differently.
- They can stay outside the market forever. Always and only wish or hope that price will fall to price they want but they reject opportunities when it comes and knocks their doors out.
- They decide to join at peaks, at temporary all time highs with FOMO investors and shake hands when crash happens.

They all are not belong to bitcoin market (never join or join and exit in short time).
4326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: January 03, 2021, 01:52:56 PM
DASH current situation on the market reminds me what happened with Ethereum before it climbs silently to move $800 now.
- Ethereum began 2020 around $140 and today it stays at $865.
- DASH began 2020 around $55 and today it stays at $89.

I know the unacceptable fact for people who want to get profits in both BTC and USDT but it is life. DASH and Ethereum has interesting history in 2017 when they both rocket to more than 0.1 BTC or more than $1000 for each coin.

Ethereum has beaten all drama on their scam platform for ICos, IEOs, DeFi tokens and rallies too good in ETH/USDT.

Don't give up as it is not the time to give up. I love DASH. With big communities behind, DASH is here to stay.
4327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 03, 2021, 01:20:34 PM
Whereas in the previous season Sheffield Utd was able to show a pretty good performance and they can be finished 9th last season. But what happened this season was in contrast with last season, Sheffield Utd's performance was very bad and they stumbled to the last position without a single win though. If their performance doesn't improve in the following matches, then they will likely be relegated to the lower division.
It is fast change in 2 seasons that can occur with small clubs. Do you remember how Swansea City rocked with Michu who is a one-season striker? Small clubs depend on sudden good forms from one or two players so when those players lose their forms or transfer to other clubs, they get troubles.

Michu.
Swansea City in Premier League. They got the 8th position in 2014 -2015 season and then fell down to 12th, 15th and 18th positions in next 3 seasons. The 2017 - 2018 season is the one Swansea City were delegated to Championship.
4328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoins/s do you think will trigger the alt season? on: January 01, 2021, 03:53:36 PM
As I said, the prerequisite is bitcoin, not Ethereum.
I think if we see a massive correction on Bitcoin that may trigger other altcoins to surge but that's still a speculation but a possibility since some are eyeing on altcoins considering Bitcoin is in overbought state.
A massive correction from bitcoin can trigger a massive rally of altcoins as bitcoin has risen too much and has not yet stop after many weeks. Corrections happened but not much dip and bitcoin rallied, then rose more after each correction so far. Altcoins were restrained too much by bitcoin.

Another possibility is bitcoin won't be corrected too much but it sets a very stable price range and make a safe feeling for investors. They won't see any risks of massive dumps, massacres, they will buy altcoins. Altcoins will be bought up as they see more profits from altcoins when bitcoin is stagnant.
4329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin liquidity crisis on: January 01, 2021, 03:47:17 PM
And Bitcoin is becoming more difficult to buy, according to analysts at Glassnode. The amount of BTC received and spent among entities is decreasing, which means the liquidity is declining.
No difficulty to buy bitcoin.

There are many bitcoins are traded on exchanges. In last 24 hours, on Binance there are 57592 BTC changed hands. You can buy any amount of bitcoin you want (don't tell me you buy more than 60k bitcoin in a single day).

I know more institutes are buying bitcoin and more entities move their bitcoin from exchanges to their cold wallets. Nevertheless, to say people are facing difficulty to buy bitcoin, it is not true.
4330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 01, 2021, 01:03:59 PM
Both teams may score but the one which will score more will win and it is most likely Roma indeed.
The easiest game this weekend is Inter vs Crotone and the hardest one is between Atalanta and Sassuolo imo. The other games have a favourite team except Fiorentina - Bologna maybe.
One vote from me for Roma with 3 points. Fio and Inter might both get win but Atalanta will face with Sassuolo that has amazing form this season. Sassuolo is a big surprise in Serie A this season but in fact they've built up their team in recent seasons already.

I also agree with you that Roma will win the match against Sampdoria by scoring more goals than Sampdoria.
LOL, Roma or Sampdoria must score more goals (at least one) than the opponent to manage a win and three points. It is fact.  Grin

AS Roma with their good form recent rounds can win against Sampdoria and contribute to make the table more tight between top clubs. It will be a season of hope for AS Roma and AC Milan which have many recent seasons with bad results. I wish all best for two clubs in the year 2021, for Roma begin with the match against Sampdoria.
4331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is cold storage better than coinbase? on: January 01, 2021, 09:35:30 AM
Preferences. Plus, Coinbase can technically pull up a ‘this is our bitcoins, not yours’ move since there isn’t any documentation apart from your account that you ‘own’ those coins. I’m not saying that they will do this but the possibility of that happening is always there.
Prevention is better than cure. If there is possibility for loss, it makes sense to try other alternatives. I got your points that Coinbase is a big platform and has good reputation so they won't want to destroy their years-building reputation by stupid actions.

Also, as most people always say: not your keys, not your bitcoin. I’d rather keep the funds in my possession and let it be lost from my own mistakes rather than having to go through all the legal hoops and frustration if my coins in an online platform was lost or stolen.
It is as there are non-custodial wallets to store cryptocurrency, get full control on private keys, transaction fees and protect privacy or increase anonymity.
4332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoins/s do you think will trigger the alt season? on: January 01, 2021, 06:38:28 AM
The correct answer is when Bitcoin will trigger the altcoin season. Without bitcoin, there is no altcoin season but the altcoin space, Ethereum is a giant in this space with many pairs that has Ethereum as a standard.

Ethereum if successfully break out, will cause a massive pump of ERC20 tokens and many altcoins that don't use ERC20 chain will join the pump. It is the time for altcoin season. As I said, the prerequisite is bitcoin, not Ethereum.
4333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Major differences between Bitcoin rally 2017 and 2020 on: December 31, 2020, 03:00:18 PM
The main difference between the 2017 bitcoin rally and the 2020 bitcoin rally is that in 2017 only retail buyers moved the price and these purchases were strictly speculative. This was not a long-term investment. Buy and sell quickly. That is why the price went down so quickly. In a way, it was such a pump-and-dump scheme.

Bitcoin is growing in 2020 thanks to institutional investors who buy bitcoin as a long-term investment. They see bitcoin as a hedge against macroeconomic risk rather than a quick cash tool. Thus, we are witnessing an outflow of bitcoins from liquid wallets of traders to illiquid wallets of investors.

Therefore, the price confidently broke through all resistances at that moment and did not fall rapidly downward.

In general, in 2017, the market was pushed by retailers, and in 2020 - by institutions.
Retailers are main fuel for 2017 bull run that burst after that. Institutes are main fuel for 2020 bull run that makes difference and this run won't be burst too easy as the 2017 bubble.

Retailer participation contributes to a spike in Google trend chart. The 2020 bull run caused an increase in Google trend but it is far from 2017 spike. I wait for highest spike in next year and if it climbs to 2017 spike, bitcoin might boom to $100,000. It is my dream for next year.

4334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is cold storage better than coinbase? on: December 31, 2020, 01:31:05 PM
Cold storage is the best is bitcoin will be store offline. Exchanges have many hacks and since 2018, they changed to move from hot wallets to cold wallets, from single signature to multi-signature wallets.

"Not your keys, not your coins" so let consider a non-custodial wallet for your bitcoin. Bitcoin core, and Electrum are one of top non-custodial wallets.

If you don't want to disclose your bitcoin address, you can create a wallet with Electrum when your computer is offline. Save a receiving address and make deposits to that address from another wallet of yours.

If you care about privacy, you need to use Tor browser when you check that deposit transaction or that wallet.
4335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many project SCAMS - PLEASE CAREFUL on: December 31, 2020, 01:14:46 PM
- Create virtual projects,
- Create virtual tokens,
I never support or like the approach to use virtual word to describe cryptocurrency. It is a word used to mislead crypto enthusiasts or potential crypto investors.

What is real? What is virtual?
Is the fiat in balance when you log in your bank account is real? Or is it virtual?

Bank balance, crypto balance are digital number, not virtual number. Crypto currency is digital currency, not virtual currency.
4336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: December 31, 2020, 12:20:34 PM
Nope, ManU needs to lose and Pogba needs to leave. #POGBACK  Grin
The Premier League is still weird after the last round. Solsa and Manchester United suddenly have a second position and see chance to fight for the Premier League trophy. Good luck to Solsa and his team with my congratulations for the birthday of Mr. Fergie. The big problem with Manchester United is they are depended too much on Bruno Fernandes. In the last season, during very last matches, when Bruno lost his energy and good forms, Manchester United had many troubles. If they won't improve they will get troubles again. I hope Cavani can hep Manchester United when he adapts more to the team tactics.

I never think Pogba is a good transfer for Juventus.

Mourinho situation is complicated, tottenham is in a position to question whether they can have any chance of winning the premier league. drew with cristal palace, lost against liverpoool, lost against leicester and drew against Wolves and is now in position 7. next game will be against Leeds and with the postponement of the game against Aston villa it could be a chance for tottenham players to relax and start to correct the mistakes so that the victories return because in the current scenario tottenham will not be champion of the premier league
Spurs is in the 7th position but if they manage to win in next 3 matches, they will move up to the top again. Premier League table has a very closed distance between top 10 clubs. You can see how Manchester United move up on the table in a little rounds.
4337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: December 30, 2020, 01:34:01 PM
I would say that Bayern has better results than Serie A and that is why Bundesliga is above Serie A, but Leipzig made some nice results last season as well. Actually, last five season results are measured for the competition list, and yes Bundesliga is going up with nice runs from Bayern and Leipzig in Champions League
It is the race for the 4th position between the Bundesliga and Serie A. It is not a race between Bayern and all clubs in Serie A. If you are watching two leagues, and the race you would know clubs from Serie A tend to pay little resources for Europa League. It is their serious mistakes that partially contribute to the derank of Serie A among the top leagues in the Europe. When Serie A clubs realized it, they already were deranked and it takes seasons for them to fight and beat up the Bundesliga again.

How many years had we not had Manchester United in this position at this point of the season?  Huh
I don't know when Manchester United held the second position on the Premier League table in new year holidays but the latest season they ended in a second position is in 2017-2018 season and they were managed by Jose Mourinho.

Also guys is true that the English federation is considering stopping the League for the Covid Outbreak?
I don't think the English Federation will postpone the league as this wave is better than what the league faced in the last season.
4339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / XRP, SEC's lawsuit and future drama for Chinese cryptocurrencies on: December 30, 2020, 10:38:47 AM
The trade war between the USA. and the China is not a new war and the change in Presidency of the USA. might or might not change a current status of the war. The recent drama on XRP, a top 3 cryptocurrency that has terrible drama, lawsuit, and price drops 3 times in very short period is a lesson to learn from.

Circa 2018 or 2019, there are a wave of delisting on cryptocurrencies from China on Poloniex, Bittrex, etc. or trading restrictions that don't allow USA. customers to trade those cryptocurrencies.

I would like to take the XRP drama to remind you that the similar delisting wave on cryptocurrencies from China might occur again under the Presidency of Joe Biden. Active projects won't die as consequence of delisting on USA exchanges but price will drop freely. Delisting on big exchanges often cause terrible drops.
4340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: December 30, 2020, 05:58:12 AM
You are right, La Liga is one of the most popular League in this world so they have 4 teams to qualify for the Champions League.
Popularity is not a factor to decide total positions for one nation (and its national league) in Champions League or Europa League. The net results of all clubs from one league (in one nation) in both Champions League and Europa League in some latest seasons will contribute to the score they get. Then the score will decide their ranks on the table and the corresponding positions in Champions League and Europa League.

Bundesliga has better results than Serie A and took over the position of Serie A in latest seasons. Serie A's clubs are trying to come back but they have yet succeeded with the mission.

Quote
The main issue is, can Barcelona finish on Top 4 by the end of the season? If they keep playing like this, I doubt they can finish on top 4 but for sure Barcelona is still a big team with many great players so I think it is just their bad time in La Liga especially there was no Messi last night and it shows that Messi's effect is still so big to Barcelona.
Barcelona might keep a position in top 4 as the mentality and performance of Messi looks like in improving form that can help the club.
