Matchday 16 was low scoring and only Leeds managed an over 2 goals. Players will have few more days rest before matchday 17 and hopefully everyone recovers so we could more entertaining games goals wise. RIP to those "massacred" bettors from all the draws hehe. Until next year!

That's definitely not an excuse for Liverpool, the Christmas schedule is always hectic, not just for Liverpool, but for all 20 teams, they had to beat Newcastle yesterday, and imo, there's no excuse for not doing that. The EPL is so unpredictable this season and I don't think there's any favorites for the title, if Liverpool continues with this performance, then I don't think they'll be able to retain their title, if City and United win the outstanding games they have, then they are right up there with Liverpool. It's going to be one of the most interesting title races we've had in a long while, that's if covid-19 doesn't stop the league sooner rather than later.

The Premier League is still weird after the last round. Solsa and Manchester United suddenly have a second position and see chance to fight for the Premier League trophy. Good luck to Solsa and his team with my congratulations for the birthday of Mr. Fergie. The big problem with Manchester United is they are depended too much on Bruno Fernandes. In the last season, during very last matches, when Bruno lost his energy and good forms, Manchester United had many troubles. If they won't improve they will get troubles again. I hope Cavani can hep Manchester United when he adapts more to the team tactics.

Spurs is in the 7th position but if they manage to win in next 3 matches, they will move up to the top again. Premier League table has a very closed distance between top 10 clubs. You can see how Manchester United move up on the table in a little rounds.

I don’t know what is wrong with Liverpool going from draw to draw.This surely is not the way to the title and if they don’t change their behavior I am afraid they will risk to not win the title this year and that would be a shame because they are clearly the strongest team in the Premier League for this season for me.

Newcastle goal keeper was at the top of his best yesterday, he made lots of vital saves that made the match to end in a draw, on the other hand I don't agree with you that Liverpool is the strongest team in epl this season, they tend not to play as a much title challenger this season, don't write off the likes of Leicester City, if they don't win the epl I think top 4 is sure for them

Tottenham's situation is not good at the moment. The team has been out of the truck for a long time. They have not won any of the last 4 matches. And they did not win against any strong opponents. Their team is not stable enough to win the title. They need to be more diligent and change their tactics to match strategy. They have to change the overall gameplay. Otherwise, they will not be able to rise to the top of the points table.

Tottenham surely is a flop this year. It is filled with star players like Gareth Bale, Son Heung Min, Harry Kane and they also have a star coach like Mourinho. They have three players on loan, they were at the top of the table for quite some time but they failed to maintain their winning streak and are just falling against every teams they play.

He was outstanding however our boys were not shooting on target too. Farmino and Salah both had off target shots several times where they had only the keeper to defeat. Liverpool forward could not synchronize between them and for some reason lost their mind in judging where the post is. If we have our forward performed well then we would see at least 6 goals from Liverpool.

On the other hand Alisson had faced only one difficult situation where he was alone and Castle had a shot in the 2nd half. He had to push hard for the corner to save the goal.

Liverpool played an away game against Newcastle last night. Liverpool were too dominant especially in the second half but they couldn't score any goal. I watched the highlights and I saw that Darlow was really awesome. He prevented so many chances that Liverpool found. Newcastle had some important chances too but Alisson didn't let them score.

Yeah was about to cite Barcelona too as the best example of failure due to internal conflits.. Salah wanna be the captain since he deserves it as a long time good player while Klopp gave it to the oldest one playing with LFC. This conflict is ridiculous and should have ended in a matter of hours...Real Madrid reportedly improved its results after a meeting between the coach and top players... So LFC should indeed fix this mess as soon as possible or else things will get way harder.

Tottenham's last four games have only managed to get 2 point which should have been able to produce 6 points from two draws. They don't look strong for a big team like Liverpool or Leicester recently, which is not good for them.

You are right. There are many talented players in Tottenham's squad. I think there is a lack of coordination between them. Otherwise, why can't they have the expected results despite having so many talented players? They have a skilled and ex[eroenced coach and have enough talented players. They have everything the balanced team needs. Still, they can't provide the expected result.

Not all teams that have quality players who look good as potential champions will get results according to plan. Some of them have struggled to keep going with positive results in every game. Manchester City and Arsenal are two teams which prove to us that sometimes results don't go according to plan even though on paper they have a strong team at the moment full of star players.

The league is still long with many games to go. The best will be determined at the end of the season. Let's look forward to exciting matches and surprises until the end of the season.

Its more than luck to win the Premier League. Im not sure why people keep making fuss out of it because as far as I can remember, Liverpool didnt lose the match. Liverpool couldnt win and it ended with a draw which is still a decent results. Fans would like if they keep on winning but you know that there is no way that you could win all the time

Even Manchester United had few draws in their last few games yet I am still happy with the results as long as there is still some point instead of getting nothing

I agree with you, many people forget that the draw results are not as bad as they think. Because at least you can get 1 point instead of losing
and not getting any points. But that's why humans always expect perfection, by expecting their favorite team to continue to win. Even though
with a pandemic situation like now and a busy Premier League match schedule, it is very difficult for any team to continue to win.

I think most players are just tired and knackered and other teams are taking advantage of that. Liverpool are struggling with creativity, Chelsea are struggling with goal scoring while Man city can't score or defend lol. Its just the way the season is programmed with no rest, no pre season and few months of no actual training sessions. Teams should find their feet in the second half of the season in what has so far being an interesting season
