How about LeBron James tonight. Even Kevin Durant had to tweet about the performance for the old guy. He put up 47 points on 66% shooting from the field and 75% from 3-point range to go along with 10 rebounds and 9 assists. A shame he didn’t get that last assist for the triple double just for the extra effect. Great to see the second oldest guy to touch the court this year still getting it done.

Right now, Houston is in rebuilding mode, they are building young superstars like Jallen Green and Porter Jr. so Harden will be stealing the spotlight from them.
Those young stars will learn so much from James Harden as well, so it will be alright to steal their spotlight for a while. Harden has a lot of experience, if he can teach those young guns, maybe they will be successful in Houston. But if he goes back to Houston, Harden may delay his championship aspiration. He is already 33, I do not think he can wait for those two to major and get into their prime. Let's see this summer if he will pursue going back to Houston.
Latest news I could find is that Harden answered the rumours and saying they are doing great in Sixers as a team and he doesn't know where the rumours came from. But there were so many news about this, I don't think it could be just a rumour, isn't it? If this came true, it would be a very bold move. I don't think Rockets want this kind of trade. But, on the other hand, they have too many young and high potential players. Sometimes a team has a game plan, but sometimes the desired goal cannot be reached due to the inexperience of the players and sometimes the inadequacy of the players. Sometimes a team doesn't have any game plan but you rely on the skills and/or experience of the players but the desired goal cannot be achieved. Rockets has neither a game plan nor a talented and/or experienced roster. Young people in their hands do not have the chance to develop or mature in such an environment. The best that jalen green can get in his career is j.r smith, if he has the right pieces on his side. He plays like an ordinary player who doesn't have game intelligence, who trusts his athleticism and isolation games if he has a day. The sad part is that this man was selected number 2 in the 2021 drafts, ahead of Evan Mobley and Scottie Barnes. I find the Harden news for Rockets too unnecessary. He is also too old.

Probably it could have steam from Harden playing great again with the Sixers, and you know that there will be rumors surrounding him when his detractors find him very successful at least for him.

Nevertheless, I will agree that he doesn't have to go back to Houston, he is perfectly fitting into the Sixers system and this could be his last chance to become a champion with a prime Joel Embiid. He can't waste any more time as he is coming to a stage wherein in the next couple of years, his game could go down anytime.

I think Harden had a lot of connections in Philly and wanted to go there to have fun after his stint with the Nets where he thought he was joining a superteam and then bailed when things got tough.  I now think that Harden has had his fun and probably worn out his personal relationships with partying and drama, no likely wanting to go back to Houston where he can be the man again, and make a ton of money without having to pay state income tax.  I don't blame him.  He seems to be going where he wants and doing whatever he feels like.  He's blessed to be able to make that work.

I usually rely on Plinko and Dice to chase wager this method is faster and easier as long as we have enough bankroll of course it must go through the calculation first
I think we all agree.

DICE & Plinko is the wagering machine, I also use this one but people should remember not to get triggered betting while chasing the wagger. Just need to focus waggering, why I talk like this? because sometimes people are chasing wagering but don't want to accept lose money (They want the money is same or maybe a little bit win).

IMO, chasing wagering need to sacrifice a little bit money for example on Platinum 1 my self sacrifice around 70-100$.

Does this sort of thing every pay off profitably?  It seems like an odd way to gamble, just trying to wager the most funds to get a higher level account.  I'll admit I'm completely ignorant to this whole subset of gamblers here who seek to cash in on promotions with their account status, but I am curious if this is something that people profit from.  I find it a little bit hard to believe you could, but I guess if you wagered enough maybe the benefits would outweigh the effort and investment involved?  I'm curious how "sacrificing" $100 leads to profits.  Any real data from your account would be welcomed.

If you were building a Sportsbook, what API would you suggest integrating?

Would like live betting & props too if there's anything out there that offers this!

Thank you  Grin

The more bet types the better obviously.  Smiley  I think the most important thing would be not accepting deposits (which isn't popular).  If bets were made and settled on chain without having to deposit funds, just receive an address for the bet you want to make and send funds, that would be great.  The only casino to ever offer this as far as I am aware was directbet.eu and they shut down after being scammed via double spends.  I think requiring a certain number of confirmations would have likely saved the operation and kept it going.  I'm a little surprised nobody has filled the hole that directbet left, but it's still wide open for the taking.

I’m sure a lot of it is harvesting losses for tax purposes. The market has been so stable lately I don’t see signs of manipulation. I see signs of exchanges buying up BTC and keeping the price stable to recoup customer funds they traded away. Meanwhile the retail trader is probably selling all their coins at the bottom, which ironically the exchange sold at the top and is now paying them bottom market prices for.

I believe I just read that 9 of the Orland Magic players were suspended for their role in the bench clearing ncident with the Detroit Pistons. Personally I think the Pistons should have had more suspensions but they got lucky the incident happened on their bench. I can’t believe someone got knocked out and the guy only got a 3 game suspension while the knocked out guy’s teammates get suspended for coming to his defense to fish him off the floor. Orlando isn’t going to have a team for their next game…

Did you get any time in the saddle at all?
You are still active and posting so you didn't drive yourself full speed into a brick wall again.

I still have not heard, but since it's been in the single digit / mid teens in terms of temperature here (supposed to get up to freezing tomorrow) not a big deal.

First thing I do when I get up every morning is go for a ride. I‘ve even started wearing a helmet when I leave the neighborhood after deciding that was probably the wise thing to do.

My take on it. It’s plenty fast enough for a regular rider. I’m not sure I’d want to take it on a highway, but city streets it is great. I get a little nervous when I get it over 50mph, but it’s certainly capable. Fastest I’ve gone on it was 70mph so far. My only real gripe about it is that after 30 minutes of riding you feel that seat. It’s super fun though and I love seeing everyone’s head turn as I fly by silently. Cool getting the nod from other bikers too.

By far the most fun (and dangerous) toy I’ve ever owned. A great baby step into electric vehicles and motorcycles. Super easy to ride and so far no issues. One of these days I might have to see if my drone can follow along for some video.

I have lots of questions as well, similar to everyone else.  This doesn't appear to be a class action lawsuit, but maybe it is and the article just did a bad job conveying it.  That seems like an insane amount of money for a couple.  Not saying their lives weren't worth a lot, but surely people have received 1000x less for the same type of incident.  One thing is for sure, I'm glad that I'm getting myself a Tesla Cybertruck and not a Ford.  They make the roof on those things seem like they're made out of paper mache.  I assume this will be appealed and an amount much lower will be rewarded in the end.
4329  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Pele, the greatest footballer of all time is dead at 82 on: December 29, 2022, 09:35:04 PM
I remember hearing stories about Pele from the time I was a little kid at soccer practice.  I can't say I could pick him out of a lineup or name any of his accomplishments, but I'm aware that he was the greatest soccer player (footballer) of all time.  I don't think there will ever be another player who stood above the pack like he did as far as recognition, mostly because there are lots of well known players now.  I hope that his family is comforted by his legacy.  His name will live on for generations no doubt as the original greatest player of all time.
4330  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Death Cross on Weekly for First Time in History on: December 29, 2022, 09:32:25 PM
If there's another leg down, then the more important question is how low will it be and how long will the trend be?  Based on my gut feelz, I don't think BTC is gonna drop lower by a lot as sellers are exhausted me thinks...  Grin

And as for how long, I'm thinking not too long.  Check your chart at 2015 and 2019.  We could already be at the lowest point or near it that going another leg lower won't even matter anymore because it won't be that huge.  Dunno...  As I said, it's all based on my gut feelz.  Lol.

I believe in the past there's always been a leg down after a period of accumulation.  This time might not be any different.  However, I wouldn't risk sitting on the sidelines.  If it does take another step down and consolidates, that would be the absolute last chance to grab the bottom.  With all the calamity going on with exchanges rushing to get BTC to back their client funds after years of fractional reserve banking, it is possible that we don't see another leg down.  Either way, I'll be a buyer of the dip, or the flatline.
4331  Economy / Speculation / Re: ELON sold his TSLA stock for $3.5billion. Will he re-buy BTC soon? on: December 29, 2022, 09:30:11 PM
With Elon beginning to receive margin calls for his Twitter loans, this might be quite interesting to watch.  If Twitter ends up worthless and Tesla stock keeps falling, we may see a bankruptcy the likes the world has never seen.  I don't believe that will happen though.  I believe that regardless of Twitter or Tesla, SpaceX is going to be the real cash cow for Elon.  Companies are going to pay anything to get operations on Mars when the time comes, whether for real purposes or marketing, and Elon will be there to cash really big checks.  He just needs to be careful the next couple of years.
4332  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Die or Pump Up in 2023? on: December 29, 2022, 09:28:04 PM
I think 2023 might be a rough year due to the recession that everyone is expecting, but I think once that is over with, we'll see the Bitcoin sink or swim moment.  I don't feel like we're there yet though.  The economy is still doing alright considering the massacre in the tech segment and even though housing prices are falling, they rose so much that a majority of homeowners are sitting on comfortable loans with a lot of equity.  There's still time for Biden to send us into a depression with his dumb policies, but the light at the end of the tunnel is shining.  Once he's out, Bitcoin will moon.
4333  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is on the Verge To Slice Through $30,000 on: December 29, 2022, 09:25:53 PM
I would agree that such stability seems to be the accumulation phase and the big boys are loading their bags while the panic is still allowing it on the cheap.  I'm not sure $30K is the target they're looking for though.  Now is the time to buy and sit on it for 2 years, or continue buying regularly through dollar cost averaging while things pickup again.  It's possible a nasty recession could take things lower, but one thing is certain, the government will print their way out of the coming recession and Bitcoin will flourish.  Whether it hits $13K or $5K won't matter when it hits $200K in a couple years.  Just make sure you have money to keep you afloat if there's a job loss or other catastrophe in your life.
4334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 29, 2022, 09:22:58 PM
Remember, they are still missing Brandon Ingram who could put up huge numbers as well. Once he will come back fully healthy, this team will be scary, and of course, as long as Zion will be healthy so they could be a championship contender team. Luka is just special, can't compare him with Zion as Luka is an all around player.

You are right, the Pelicans are still missing BI and they are already scary. All they lack now is experience. Maybe in 2 years or so, this team, if managed correctly, will become a champion. I do not consider them in the race for the NBA finals yet because of their lack in experience but given time, they will be.

I think the question for them is if they're going to be able to keep their roster together.  It seems like they've got a lot of guys who you wouldn't expect to fit well together, but are getting the job done with their massive talent.  I think it might be tough to keep Zion around long term, but you never know...  I have no idea how he likes living in New Orleans.  I do think he's destined for a bigger market though.  Similar to Anthony Davis...  You can only keep a talent like that locked up in a small market for so long.  So I think their window is closing not because of age, but because Zion is destined for greater than New Orleans.
4335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 29, 2022, 04:15:15 PM
How about the Nets winning 10 straight. That seemed like a pipe dream a few weeks ago. It seems like they’re starting to get it figured out. I’m glad because KD is too good to not get another chance in the Finals. I hope this is his year because I’m not sure what his future will look like. He seems to be setting himself up to be a bit of a journeyman in his final years in the league.
Looks like Uncle Drew is on a mission, when he comeback from the Nets it's like they are an upgraded version and Durant was healthy too along with Simmons. Yeah, more like the years of KD in the league is getting near and before he retires I think getting a ring is a thing for him once again.
They are slowly getting there and 10 might be just first step right ? I mean ...Nets are looking deadly right now and I don't see any team that could stop them besides Mavs and Luka as Luka is on fire right now with being the first player in NBA history to score 60 points and maybe a triple double ...kid is insane but Nets as a team right now are unstoppable. Next game for Nets is against Hornets and I see Nets winning this game since first half... Grin
Well that was a wild and historic performance that Luka made but I don't think with the current standing they have right now, Nets will still dominate.

For me, I think Nets shouldn't concern what's happening in the West, I think they should be concern on the current top seed right now in the East which is the Boston Celtics, the team that swept them in the playoffs. Moreover, maybe this time it's different, we have Simmons that has additional defense for them.

The Western conference does feel a little weak compared to the Eastern conference. The Pelicans and the Nuggets have the best records out west and while they’re both great teams, they both lack a lot of experience. Whereas the teams out East like the Nets, Bucks, Celtics, 76ers all have a ton of veterans with a lot of experience. It’ll be interesting to see how the playoffs work out. I do think the Nuggets and Pelicans have a couple of the best young rosters out there, but I didn’t think they’d be on top already.

4337  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How pessimistic do you feel about the new year of 2023 ? on: December 28, 2022, 11:28:45 PM
Reading the news would surely have you feeling pessimistic.  I'm personally torn.  So many people are expecting a recession and inflation is so high, it's almost like the contrarian position (which I like to take) is that things will recover and be better than ever.  I have no idea how that would happen while our government is printing us off a cliff and still trying to force covid shots down our throats, but who knows.  I've been around long enough to know that the opposite of what the majority thinks will happen is usually what will happen.  So for now I sit tight and hope for the best.
4338  Other / Politics & Society / Re: From Dollar's Collapse To Musk As US President on: December 28, 2022, 11:26:40 PM
But I thought the United States constitution did not allow people from other countries to be president?
And I believe Elon Musk is from South Africa and also have Canadian nationality.

So I believe it is very unlikely Musk will have any chance at all to even run for the presidency, unless the American people decided to have a referendum and adopt a new constitution adapted to modern times.

That won't happen, I think.  Tongue

Quote
Article 2, Section 1 of the United States Constitution states that only natural-born citizens may serve as president. While the clause prevents immigrants who become U.S. citizens through naturalization from becoming president, it does not affect those with dual citizenship. Naturalization is the process through which a citizen of another country who moves the U.S. permanently can acquire citizenship.

https://classroom.synonym.com/can-dual-citizenship-holder-president-us-15680.html

That might be the reason why it will never happen, but even if they changed those rules (seemed to find a workaround for a past president) I doubt Elon would have any interest in being President of the United States.  That is mostly a position for people who have spent their life in government living off the people without having ever earned a cent of revenue on their own, or disgraced lawyers.  At least that's my understanding of how it works.   Maybe that's why Trump was hated so much.  You aren't allowed to actually know how business works and be the President, then you might change the status quo of the government controlling everyone.
4339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will Sam Bankman-Fried go to jail? on: December 28, 2022, 11:24:17 PM
Looks like we won't have to wait too much longer to find out what is going to happen to our deal old Sam Bank-Fraud.  With a plea deal expected to come next week, we'll learn what cushy jail he'll be spending his time in for probably nowhere near as long as he should.  It's absolutely insane to me that Sam can be outside of a jail cell while Ross Ulbright remains in custody.  It goes to show that it's never about the people.  It's about control and while Sam's attempt to grab control for the government failed, they can still control those who are fighting for freedom and their fellow citizens.
4340  Other / Archival / Re: 2022 was the second worst year for Bitcoin on: December 28, 2022, 11:21:22 PM
I would go further and say this was the worst year ever for Bitcoin.  We've never seen such a prolonged drop below the 200 day moving average and it looks like it isn't done yet.  With the world readying for recession and Bitcoin seemingly falling off a cliff, things are going to be pretty dicey over the next 2 years.  I only hope that Bitcoin is able to survive and bounce back again.  It isn't going to be easy this time with CBDCs on the way along with plenty of regulation to try and rip coins from user's hands.  I will admit I'm nervous about this cycle, but we'll see what happens soon enough.
