4321  Economy / Reputation / Re: MemoryDealers RogerVer scamming people again on: August 31, 2020, 01:50:25 PM
He wants everyone to read Bitcoin Cash as Bitcoin. He is been doing it since the fork. Misleading newbies buying into his alt shit. There is a positive site though, the same person who were misguided by him at the first place later realize and identifies the real Bitcoin and Fs his S :-D

The most pathetic fact we are living with is - in a domain named Bitcoin.com he is shilling Bitcoin Cash.
4322  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum wallet user Lost $16M in Bitcoin. on: August 31, 2020, 11:21:15 AM
Just because of this I post here now time to check these things and have safety first formula as never go with unsecured links or sites because scammers and cheaters ready to steal your funds.
It has always been advised to verify the downloaded file before installing. Electrum never does auto update too. It notifies you and you will need to re-download the latest file and verify it before updating the old version.

It's very easy but unfortunately most of the people over complicate it.
4323  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum wallet user Lost $16M in Bitcoin. on: August 31, 2020, 11:11:07 AM
The entire media is trying to blame Electrum for it at-least this is the way they are creating the news. Instead of blaming Electrum then can publish an awareness news about how to safely handle bitcoin. We would not see this kind of sad stories.

I am sorry for the user who lost the 1400 BTC but it's him to be blamed here.
4324  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: looking for a gateway like coinpayment without KYC on: August 31, 2020, 10:36:42 AM
about bitpay here is this site for me so just because of this I not mention them

Use VPN or TOR. You are in a zone where their service is restricted. Ironic though.
4325  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: looking for a gateway like coinpayment without KYC on: August 31, 2020, 10:24:55 AM
OK thanks for correction and he want third party system but after you post may be he will able to have host his own payment server without any third party processor.
I could be wrong :-P
OP did not specify so you could be correct too but if I was in his position then I would look for my own instead of relaying on third-party. You missed bitpay, or you hate it as much as I do :-D
4326  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: looking for a gateway like coinpayment without KYC on: August 31, 2020, 10:19:00 AM
service discussion
I think it's in the right board if I understand it correctly then OP is looking for a payment processor to process the payment of his website. I would suggest https://btcpayserver.org

You can host your own payment server without needing for any third party processor like coinpayments.
4327  Economy / Reputation / Re: @shasan, @Coolcryptovator, @ dkbit98, @lovesmayfamilis, bubbalex, I call you guy on: August 31, 2020, 09:22:18 AM
This is the user.
I do not think the account will ever be in DT network and the feedback will be visible so, paying attention to his work is waste of your valuable time. You may work on finding the next scam site if you forget about him.
4328  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking Profits/Stacking Sats on: August 31, 2020, 07:35:21 AM
Some currencies have a good future like ADA, steller, so you can bet on the long term and buy more.
This ADA is a nightmare for me. I heard good thing about them and long ago I bought some large amount wishing them will give me good profit. My buying price was 0.00004500 BTC. Have a look on the current price now :-P

@Steamtyme, whatever you do buddy, always use Stop-loss. Don't let the greed to lose your coins like I did.
4329  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: I am bored : Win 0.01 BTC [Raffle to raise fund for Project Covid-19] on: August 31, 2020, 07:17:08 AM
These things are tough to get going, best of luck. I tried running 2 or 3 last year with a prizepool of .1, 95% going to the winner I believe. I managed to get 3 entrants and couldn't get any further interest. If you get close I'll take the last spot, just PM to let me know.
If there is a last spot then I will PM you :-P

Bump!
4330  Economy / Reputation / Re: Just curious- why you need to say "This will be a neutral feedback deal" on: August 30, 2020, 05:52:55 PM
(though for the life of me I can't remember an example, but I'm sure other members could).
With my lending business I face this very often. These days I do not have many clients but when I had my business at the peak, I had few users who took loan and had this expectation that they will get a feedback from me. I do give out feedback but only when I am satisfied after making X number of trade. X is not a constant, X here is a random number until I am sure enough that it's time.

I am very conservative on leaving feedback by the way.
4331  Economy / Reputation / Re: Just curious- why you need to say "This will be a neutral feedback deal" on: August 30, 2020, 05:33:45 PM
This prevents the feedback farmers to make unnecessary noise. There are users who will only get interested with The Pharmacist just to get a positive feedback since he is on DT.

Although if the trade is good and satisfactory and it happens frequently then with somehow established user, I do not see any problem to leave a feedback.
4332  Other / Meta / Re: Do I have a chance to recover my account? on: August 30, 2020, 04:56:30 PM
The ban is not directed against the account but against the person in front of the computer. Sorry.

KYCed successfully :-P
4333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have shared about bitcoin on my class on: August 30, 2020, 04:38:06 PM
I felt lucky when teacher asked me what bitcoin is actually after my presentation, I gave a short answer to them.
Did they use the word (bold) specifically? If yes then you have successfully changed the mind of a doubter. I am pretty sure your teacher heard about bitcoin before your presentation but it was not good thing about it. After hearing about it from you, he started to find the good side about it and hence he emphasized on the word "actually".

Well done!
4334  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.com - unable to send bought bitcoins via credit card on: August 30, 2020, 06:24:23 AM
I have coins in this wallet they claimed to have thousands of users if many people will complaint with similar issues they will lose a lot of users, at present my account with them are ok but I don;t want to experience that issues I might transfer all my accounts to a better wallet probably a non custodial one.
Moving your coins to a non-custodial wallet will the best choice you will make. Hot wallets like Blockchain.com do not give you full control of your coins besides you are trusting them with your coins. Why would you do that when you are into Bitcoin?
4335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏏🏏 sportbet.one 🏏🏏 [IPL 2020] Prediction pool and discussion 🏏🏏 on: August 30, 2020, 05:29:47 AM
^^ If my memory serves me well then around 12ish members gave their confirmation on being pool participants, 9 participants are fixed ( including SaShiRaJaVu, Haunebu and eaLiTy). We still have 20 more days to go so have some faith Cheesy.
It's already in the OP.
Awaiting to join
SaShiRaJaVu
Haunebu
eaLiTy
cabirr
Little Mouse
And we already have 6 who paid the fees. RapTarX did not make any update though.

By the way, yesterday BTCGOSU paid their fees, so we have now 0.071 BTC in the pot which is in today's rate $822.10

Edit:
Finally, it's done! (Although, I still need at-least three more to join to match the prize)

And, a note for the none participants:

4336  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for sponsor: [IPL 2020] Prediction Pool on: August 30, 2020, 05:25:13 AM

Three more banners left. Please feel free to contact me in PM or in Telegram.

Cheers,

4337  Other / Meta / Re: Question to theymos [Answered!] on: August 30, 2020, 05:14:21 AM
I did not see this gambling habit post. Yeah, it's a newbie account but the papers and other supporting meterials they provided was investigated by a physician in the forum since I and Hhampuz do not know much about medical things.

If you're sure money is really needed it would be a very nice gesture, but the question is how much less than $1000 can help with heart problems?
I know 0.08 BTC or 0.09 (including the fund we have in the address) is not much but at-least this will help a little.

Anyway, as I said in my last post that I will lock this topic. If anyone has any question then feel free to post it in the Project COVID-19 discussion topic.
4338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏏🏏 sportbet.one 🏏🏏 [IPL 2020] Prediction pool and discussion 🏏🏏 on: August 28, 2020, 10:32:16 AM
More 0.005 BTC are coming into the pot from BTCGOSU, they rented one of the bottom banner.

From last few days, I do not see many shout out. You guys really need to join the prize pot will become 0.071 BTC very soon!

Im struggling to live in my RV with no power generator and unable to shower or have a working fridge or anything....
Hello Xxbigcalebxx,
I am trying but yes I have to admit that I got lazy, sorry. I read your post yesterday while I was offline but could not reply. Maybe there is a hope here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5271782.msg55080104#msg55080104
4340  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best Method: How to mix - the entire process on: August 28, 2020, 03:54:36 AM
SENDING:
Use .onion version of the mixer.

Quote
RECEIVING:
Use a VPN, a free one is okay too. Create a new wallet while your VPN is active. Send the mixed coins to the new wallet. And from now on, use VPN always even when you load the wallet. Never send the coins to any service which requires KYC and an address of yours which is known to others.

To mix, so far Chipmixer is the best IMO.
