4321  Economy / Economics / Re: Sanctions left and right, Can the Russian economy survive? on: March 16, 2022, 06:32:40 PM
It's hard to know how effective sanctions are going to be. Of course the media is telling Russia is going to suffer a lot economically, they are doomed and there are no chances for them, but I keep in mind the media is trying to raise the morale of the world against Russia in order to weak Putin, what would make potential allies keep distance from him.

But the truth is that Putin also has his own methods. Russia supplies gas and fertilizers in large scale to foreigner nations. Without this supply, the whole world will also perish if nothing is done fast to replace russian supplies. Both sides are being prejudiced economically by the war and I have the impression Russia isn't totally isolated or in a terrible position like the media is saying.

It's crazy how weak leadership in USA and Europe along the past two decades in special have accommodate themselves in a so dependent position from Russia for basics needs. USA could have never allowed Russia to supply fertilizers in large scale like that to the world! They literally fed the beast.
4322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Huge Future Bitcoin Holders! on: March 16, 2022, 05:58:23 PM
There was a time when bitcoin was cheap as 1 dollar and still accessible to anyone who went for it, doesn't matter if they were rich, middle class or poor. So we can't blame bitcoin for making riches richer. Middle class and poor people should be blamed for not adopting bitcoin when it was still on its earliest phase. For some reason they didn't have interest for bitcoin on the perfect moment, while those who had were benefited. And that is fine, because early enthusiasts took the risks and believed when nobody else did...

For those who still don't own any satoshis, it's better to recover the lost time and adopt bitcoin as soon as possible. Each new year it's going to be harder and harder to acquire bitcoins for affordable prices, especially when reaching closer to the halving.
4323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Play to earn game tokens on: March 16, 2022, 04:50:53 PM
Which one is more promising according to you? And you maybe played as well

Vulcan Forged ($PYR)           https://vulcanforged.com/
Merit Circle ($MC)                 https://meritcircle.io/
Aavegotchi ($GHST)              https://www.aavegotchi.com/
UFO Gaming ($UFO)              https://ufogaming.io/
Citrus ($CTS)                         https://www.citrus.tech/
Enjin Coin ($ENJ)                  https://enjin.io/
Gala ($GALA)                         https://app.gala.games/
Axie Infinity ($AXS)              https://axieinfinity.com/
Render Token ($RNDR)         https://rendertoken.com/
GuildFi ($GF)                          https://guildfi.com/
From this list I'm only aware of Enjin, Gala and Axie Infinity. Enjin platform looked pretty good in 2020, with some promising games being developed (probably the best and most well crafted ones on that time) like Lost Relics, 9Lives Arena and Six Dragons. But since then, I feel like those projects have lost grasp with very poor or slow development and weak or non existent advertisements.

Gala looks a greedy platform to me. When I checked Mirandus, the prices charged to start playing were insanely absurd considering the low graphic models of the game and non relevant features. Everything on that platform is expensive and there isn't anything fully working yet. It's everything under development or beta phase. I've also played TownStar there, and only top players are rewarded with money prizes. A total waste of time for everyone else.

Axie Infinity's AXS can gain more value after the next game's updates which will introduce new features and functions to spend SLPs. All of them are very risky investments anyway...
4324  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It seems that more people taking crypto trading as full time job on: March 15, 2022, 07:11:27 PM
The ones who do able to make out some sustaining trades for long term are the ones who are really doing well which is profitable honestly which you could really make this as a main source or full time job.
They must be lucky then, because it's not possible to predict market's fluctuations on long run in crypto market. Sometimes bitcoin crashes without any apparent reason or skyrockets for no reason as well, so how can traders make a living from such an unstable market? Support and resistance levels change all the time. They can read the charts, statistics, past events, but it's not going to guarantee they are making smart moves on the present moment. Everything can happen at anytime in crypto market. That is why another jobs or sources of income are needed in my opinion.
4325  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It seems that more people taking crypto trading as full time job on: March 14, 2022, 11:00:41 PM
Personally I don't know any full time traders, I only hear about their stories of success, what is hard to measure how legit they are, because anyone can speak anything about themselves, especially on the internet.

I believe if the person has fixed sources of income guaranteed every month, he can become a full time trader, as losing money isn't going to be an issue for him, but if the goal is to live solely from trading activity, that is a huge mistake, unless the person enjoys living on a tightrope.
4326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from crypto influencers on: March 14, 2022, 06:19:28 PM
Influencers just speculate about possible results and outcomes of crypto projects, but they can't predict anything accurately anyway. The point is that they talk as they could, because they put a lot of emphasys and persuasion on their statements, what makes many people, especially the most naive ones, see them as crypto market's specialists. I don't know how many of them are getting paid to promote specifical projects, but their goal is to at least grow their youtube channels with subscribers and likes to increase the revenue and popularity, what can considerably put them on the radar of some developers looking for influencers to promote their tokens or platforms.
4327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling in METAVERSE on: March 14, 2022, 05:45:12 PM
What are your thoughts on gambling in the metaverse world, where you and a friend are playing at a table, but it's online, and you're sitting next to each other, but you're from different countries? Isn't it sound cool? Well, it felt cool to me. I don't know if this type of site exists or not, but in the future there will definitely be a gambling world in the metaverse. And I really want to experience that. I hope that technology comes soon.
It would sound cool if the experience was realistic as if we were really there as human beings, like we can watch in some movies depicting the metaverse ("Surrogates" with Bruce Willis, for an example), and not some ugly cartoonish avatars which are already present on the most basic games since the beginning of 2000's decade.
I doubt most gamblers, especially the wealthiest ones will fall for this "technology". Maybe young people will, because they are prone to accept anything that is proposed to them, but that doesn't have a huge impact on the industry for now anyway...

What makes it realistic as some of us had speculated is the devices to use in order for you to virtually go in the metaverse like the avatar movie. Are we going to be in a capsule or just the headset like the ones we use today with VR?

I am convinced metaverse could possibly be the future. I'm however going to speculate this will happen when this recession is over and it may take years and years. The government may also come in to be there on metaverse.
Weeks ago, some local news showed up on my device talking about Metaverse hype, the large number of projects being developed on this field, but also highlighting a realistic virtual reality would only start appearing from 2030 on, and not in large scale or fully working yet, probably just an early development. It made sense for me, because technology must evolve a lot until it can provide a superior experience than we have playing video games nowadays. Maybe by 2040 or 2050 Metaverse starts making more sense.
4328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Way to Carry Your Seed When Traveling Or Moving Abroad? on: March 13, 2022, 08:38:23 PM
Well, I would take with me a notepad with a written story by me containing the 12 words of the seed distributed along the whole text, very well disguised in a way nobody could suspect anything. You just need to be creative to create a coherent tale, what shouldn't be so hard, since seeds' words are really common ones, being possible to add them to any fictions easily.
And I doubt someone would steal a cheap notepad from your luggage or seize it, because there isn't any reasonable cause to justify that at first point.

This suggestion has been given by few people here and guess what the staff at the airports are reading these suggestions too.  Wink
Next time if you see them looking at your notebook and taking interest in the story written on that notebook, be alert, they are searching for your seed  Smiley
Hahaha! If they get too interested on the story, then the crypto enthusiast might think about publishing a book and nobody will be able to identify which are the seed's words yet, since they will be among so many others. Wink
Moreover, it must be a good marketing strategy to advertise a book: hey, my bitcoin wallet's seed is on this book, find it if you can and the btcs held there will be yours (but you need to buy the book first)! Cheesy

4330  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Steam removed bitcoin because half of transactions were fraudulent on: March 13, 2022, 01:44:56 AM
I don't know how irreversible transactions could be fraudulent, there should be no fraud compared to credit cards. They were either doing something horribly wrong (like zero confirmations) or are blaming unrelated problems on Bitcoin.

Yes, they were actually accepting 0 confirmations transactions at some point: https://themerkle.com/steam-switched-back-to-zero-confirmation-bitcoin-transactions/
That is an absurd situation! But shows they don't have any interest in bitcoin at all, otherwise they would have hired a specialist to help them introduce bitcoin payment method safely for both sides.

I though they would consider fraudulent transactions the fact the money may come from unknown or illegal sources, but the truth was something more insane. Tongue

Steam doesn't know how to use the "tool" and instead of learning how to do this, they claim the tool doesn't work. Cheesy
4331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hope Vs Realty of bitcoin on: March 13, 2022, 12:33:01 AM
Many people think that bitcoin should move up in a straight line but this is not how the market works. Markets may show us many up and down before moving up and sadly people are not ready for these movements and sell their bitcoin before it reaches the all time high.

Who are those people ? because those who knows about crypto does not have that belief instead we knew that line is going Here and there.

What I'm saying here is that straight line will never happen until time comes that Crypto will be accepted by the whole world.

that is the reality of life and we cannot just pretend there is a straight value when there is nothing we can do about it.
Those are short term investors who are always in a hurry for fast profit, and since they have heard bitcoin is able to rise a lot and fast in price, they imagine their investments' value will be doubled or even more in weeks or a month or so, but once they see the market crashing, they start panicking and sell their coins on the wrong time, because they can't wait to use the invested amount anymore or are too afraid of the future to keep the money invested.

As you said, a straight line can never be expected, so the investment must be done aiming long term returns. For this reason, patience and cold blood are needed during the bearish times.
4332  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Drake became partners of the Stake Casino on: March 12, 2022, 10:00:53 PM
Stake has a history of partnering with many sportsmen already and it was just a matter of time until a popular celebrity joined the party. It was a good marketing move for Stake, because the public of Drake is huge, what means he will bring a lot of recognization not only to gambling, but also to cryptocurrency environment among his fanbase.

Now I ask myself if another crypto casinos will go through the same path, launching a similar marketing campaign with celebrities.
4333  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price. on: March 12, 2022, 07:12:15 PM
It's hard to see bitcoin skyrocketing right now, because even though it's being potentially used by the world to donate funds to ukrainians, the money doesn't stay invested in crypto for too long. So at same time we have a raise on demand, there is also an increasement on sales, when exchanging btc to fiat in order to use the donated money to purchase goods in general.
It was also said russians could be acquiring bitcoin to protect their money against ruble devaluation, but I don't see on the reality a considerable increasement in btc's price to justify that the demand is rising.

Interesting to note, though, bitcoin keeps pretty stable, despite its low price compared to the last ATH, while fiat currencies are losing value, including the powerful dollar.

4335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Conditions of bounty campaigns these days on: March 12, 2022, 02:15:38 AM
Hello guys
Are you guys really getting paid from the Bounty campaigns these days? What are you earning on an average per week? How many campaigns are you working in?
I think alot of changed since 2018.
Hey there,
It is not the same as in old days, we have to accept reality first. The rewards by bounty campaigns are small compared to what it was supposed to pay a few years ago, some hero members have earned more than 1 BTC in a month in juicy bounty campaigns. Weekly BTC payment campaigns on the services section of the forum have some decent long-term campaigns, I prefer being part of a stable one instead of hunting big one in the bounty section tbh.
Actually, it would be good if all campaigns paid in bitcoin or any other solid altcoin every week, at least to guarantee workers some decent rewards for the job done. This way people wouldn't be scammed after a month or so of service and developers would have to think twice before launching any garbage to get money from investors, because then they would have to make a real initial investment to pay bounty hunters for the first weeks of advertisement, until some profit could be really made for themselves through the promoted project.
4336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin value more if no Altcoins or not on: March 12, 2022, 01:30:38 AM
Is it true that bitcoin is not affected by the altcoins? I am thinking it would have been better if only bitciin is existing as it will have more value, though bitcoin can not be compared to altcoins in many ways as it is the first and the giant.
I can't say bitcoin isn't affected by altcoins, because it's probable bitcoin would be more valuable if less altcoins were disponible on the market, as people would focus their investment mostly in bitcoin that way. As we can see along the years, bitcoin's marketcap is decreasing when compared to altcoins, so it's a potential signal the king of crypto universe is really affected by altcoins, consequently losing part of its influence.
On the other hand, I'm 100% sure altcoins are much more affected by bitcoin than the opposite. Bitcoin rules the market, so you caould expect altcoins to be priceless if bitcoin didn't exist or if it was much weak, in the same proportion when bitcoin skyrockets, altcoins skyrocket as well. But it's important to notice altcoins' pumps are just consequences of bitcoin price's fluctuations, which are the real cause.
4337  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: March 12, 2022, 12:34:23 AM
Freebitcoin wrote about another feature that they added to the site recently. This feature allows you to exchange RP for extra WOF spins. And as they said above, the initial daily exchange limit is only 1 spin per day, but you can increase it if you wager enough. By the way, you can find more information about it in the rewards tab.
Freebico.in just introduced this new feature a few weeks ago. You can exchange your reward points for WOF spins on the "Rewards" tab.
TheQuin wrote about it here:

I have seen this, but though it was a different thing, because even the lowest WOF package gives more than 1 free spin daily (1 WOF ticket per faucet roll for 900 RP during a 24 hours time period):

And considering an user can claim 10 to 16 times a day without any difficult, it's possible to have at least 10-16 extra daily spins this way by purchasing the cheapest package, or 50 to 80 extra daily spins when acquiring the top package.

Does that mean if you don't have the minimum wager requirements, you won't receive more than 1 WOF ticket daily, doesn't matter what package you buy and how many times you claim from the faucet daily?
4338  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: March 11, 2022, 06:19:52 PM
P.S.: At the start, you can claim 1 Wheel of Fortune Free Spin every day. Wager on MULTIPLY BTC or BET ON EVENTS to increase your daily limit to 100 WOF Free Spins every day!
Are you talking about the free daily spin received on the email? Does it mean wagering on dice and events' results increase the number of free wheel spins users receive on their email or is it another feature?

If it's another feature, where can I claim this extra free spin every day?
4339  Other / Politics & Society / Re: FIFA and UEFA has suspended Russian Football teams. on: March 11, 2022, 12:04:45 AM
I feel sorry for russian players who are against this invasion and would like to represent their country on the world cup with the same strength and vitality they did in 2018, but were unfortunatelly prejudiced by the actions of their national leader.

I used to feel sorry in the beginning but after seeing people who support the war on social media and write Z on their cars I no longer do. Russians are being brainwashed and they even say that they're planning to endure this like they always do. They will never rebel, they blame the West. It's a tragedy for both countries but Russians are to blame for everything that is going on.
I'm actually happy they were disqualified, especially after the following:

The behavior of an unhealthy person was very well demonstrated by Marina Ulyankina, coach of the Russian national gymnastics team. She commented on the sanctions on the participation of Russian and Belarusian athletes in competitions.

Instead of influencing her regime, the coach resorted to intimidation. This time she turned to Japan.
We must remind Watanabe – Hiroshima and Nagasaki,
– Ulyankina wrote on social networks.
Morinari Watanabe is a Japanese businessman who is the president of the International Gymnastics Federation.

https://thetimeshub.in/we-must-remind-watanabe-hiroshima-and-nagasaki-the-russian-coach-scares-japan-with-nuclear-weapons
I don't know what to think about it, because russian captured prisioners said they didn't even know they were going to invade Ukraine, neither their families, while others said they received the information the country was dominated by fascists.

So there are lots of lies and misinformation going on in Russia and people there don't have access to the media like people from another countries (I'm not sure if it is due to ignorance or if free media and free access to internet is restricted there).

But regards the statement of the national gymnastics team's coach, it is shameful and disgusting, however it is expected people in command positions like this will act this way, because they will praise and endorse their leader's opinions and positions maximum as possible to earn points with the high command... Every countries have this type of scum people.

On the other hand, I'm not sure if the rest of the population agree with these threats and the bully style of Putin and his lacays towards another sovereight nations.

What do you think?
4340  Other / Politics & Society / Re: FIFA and UEFA has suspended Russian Football teams. on: March 10, 2022, 06:01:33 PM
There wasn't much FIFA could do about it, because that was the choice of Russia's opponents to not play against them and it was out of FIFA's control to force anyone to play in such circumstances, otherwise there wouldn't be any competition at all and only Russia would remain active on the world cup qualifiers, with every other national teams lefting it meanwhile.
I feel sorry for russian players who are against this invasion and would like to represent their country on the world cup with the same strength and vitality they did in 2018, but were unfortunatelly prejudiced by the actions of their national leader.
