4321  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [OFFER] 🔵 ENG → KR 🔵 Korean Translation Service on: May 14, 2018, 06:30:20 AM
Better to move this thread to service section/board (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0) so you will get some potential project that will need this kind of service.

And a little suggestion better to approach some of the bounty campaign managers, because AFAIK most of them have a team for translation service once they get a project, all language that needed on that particular bounty will be reserved by their team.
4322  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: icqbase.com is SCAM on: May 14, 2018, 05:55:58 AM
First thing first you're in the wrong board you should move or post on Scam Accusation Board instead. Second, Where do you find this exchange? seems its just newly made since its the first time I've heard its name. And please pot some proofs of this accusation, like transaction id/s.

Okay, base on it's whois info, a newly made exchange without good reputation and there's a high chance it will be scam website.

4323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China and Bitcoin taking vows again? on: May 13, 2018, 07:15:21 PM
I personally don't think so. People are used to buying phones with lots of bloatware in it(those apps that are there that you can't uninstall, and that you never actually use). This bitcoin app they're adding just might fall unto the bloatware category. Yes, it's going to be there and people are going to see it. But I don't think much people would actually act on it and be curious about it. Any publicity is good publicity though, so I'd still say this is good news.
In the article mentioned that the pre-installed wallet is from BTC.com's wallet so it might be secured though it might be not since I don't use their wallet and no experience at all but still a good news.

i think this is a good news because when company like huawei advertising for bitcoin most of people in china invest into bitcoin and value of bitcoin is increased day by day.Smiley
Just don't forget that China banned cryptocurrency including bitcoin. So I don't know how Huawei had come up this idea since they know about the rules and law on their country about cryptocurrency since they are china-based.
4324  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Large Amount of BTC needed on: May 13, 2018, 06:40:08 PM
Why don't you try [snip] for us Eidgenossen when B2B is quite good and those guys serious.

I doubt there will be huge deals with forum members  Undecided

Cheers,

P.
Don't try this site mentioned, I tell you. I'm not even familiar with it and seems the service/site is just new and poorly made. Don't even have SSL for the security of the site and its users.

Just wait until someone reputed people who post or reply here, don't just entertain to someone newly made accounts here, and always use an escrow since you're dealing with a quite huge money there.

Regards.
4325  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to avoid bounty scams in bitcointalk on: May 13, 2018, 05:23:03 PM
What I am trying to say is the higher the rank the greater the responsibility. Say for example the bounty manager is legendary he won't risk his account as a legendary knowing that the campaign is a scam and he himself is a scammer. So if the bounty is being managed by a legendary you can't argue that it is not legit.
I dont want to spoil your beliefs but not only having a legendary account into this forum would already signifies legitimacy of a certain project. How about putting up consideration on checking those accounts if being sold or not? There are already instances into this forum where there are legendary accounts do handle out bounties but in the end it turn out to be scam. Always have the awareness and be sensible anytime if you do see suspicious acts.
And in addition, even a so-called trusted campaign manager was hooked by a scam project and a scam bounty campaigns and his affected his rep and even pulled him down, just search about the issue of atriz.
That's why it's so important that you make a thorough research to the project you're wanting to join on their bounty campaigns or just choose a bounty manager that will not make your efforts into waste in promoting those guys.

[Snip]
The value of a new token?? Hmm.. you will only know it once it hit the market.
I guess the token he's trying to say here is "New" token, its the name if I'm correct.

And... Are you trying to hire someone to work with you or what? Just rephrase and tell us more about your upcoming project if its totally a project.
4328  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [open] 0.002 BTC paying mini twitter bounty - Newbie friendly on: May 12, 2018, 07:48:04 PM
You should at least secure the funds of the award to your future participant/s using escrow, thats why you are seeing those people above posting 'reserve' instead of application or any required to post. You can choose any of the escrow here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=276897.0

For a reward of maximum 0.0036BTC, no one really cares about escrow as OP isn't just some random newbie. Escrow fee would eat up a very high percentage of the prize, which isn't worth it.
That is a small reward to have an escrow and that is also small reward which to destroy his reputation if ever he runs without paying.
Well, I personally trust him.
Its only a suggestion, he can even take it or not. And theres no big deal about it.

And well, I trust no one.

4330  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: List of Campaign Managers Latest Post(Sig & Twitter Campaign) for Bounty Hunter on: May 12, 2018, 03:06:11 PM
AFAIK Lauda, deadley, Sylon, Avirunes, irfan_pak10 do signature campaigns too, so I guess you should put them on that side as well, dont know the others since I saw them running bounty campaigns only. And aside from post history you should put their profile link and add their campaign management thread/ANN thread on the OP too. And also try to check Aventhe's profile (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1054592) he's doing some signature and bounty campaigns too.

As what I've seen on your post history, that's the only phrases you're posting so stop spamming the forum, you're totally off-topic here.

4332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin transaction fee keeps increasing? on: May 12, 2018, 03:10:19 AM
Because on the demand of bitcoin, look how bitcoin known allmost all country in the world. And I guess everyone of these country has a crypto user. And as time goes past it become and becoming much popular. Big investor will fight to buy btc so it can cause a massive pump. Btc had a less supply so transaction fee is proportional when btc pumps. The equivalent of btc fee will grow as btc price is up
I might agree with the word "demand" but with your supporting words aren't. Mostly bitcoin transaction increased/decreased base on the congestion in the network, but in these days it only requires a small amount of fee (4/sat per byte) where you can send and can be confirmed within the next block so no need to worry about stucked transactions.

Base on my knowledge bitcoin transaction doesn't have any fees before or not that I know of. But then as what you've mention that because of its demand and yes I agree with that and for me its better to have fees as well because this will serve as maintainance and all other that needs to be maintaned.
Well, your knowledge is not concrete as you agree in the quoted post. And what maintenance are you talking about? if you're referring exchanges, well mostly, exchanges get profit when users buy and sell on their platform, and might be not when sending/withdrawing only from the exchange.
4333  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitgo Hacked? My computer Hacked? Or false positive? on: May 11, 2018, 06:32:15 PM
Seems it only appears on your computer or on AVG database particularly, I didn't get any error or alert when visiting the site using Norton while Bitgo has good reputation IMO

3. Your connection is intercepted by hacker or 3rd party. Try to use BitGo with paid VPN or Tor with proper configuration.
This might be the close reason of your issue.
4334  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: mycelium bcash module on: May 11, 2018, 06:14:39 PM
I don't know what's there up to, there is already a BCH mycelium app in play store as and don't know why they merge it to the main app. And if ever I have BCH I still prefer to use it in some exchanges or some existing wallet than on their app tho I used mycelium for bitcoin transactions.

Yeah, still no Segwit, what a useless update.
4335  Local / Pamilihan / Re: your 500php worth of ETH exchange to my 600globe load on: May 11, 2018, 05:27:06 PM
Are you still on to this stuff? Maybe I can get those 600 php globe load mo in exchange sa ETH na hinihingi mo or siguro pwede naman siya sa TM numbers diba? Sa pagka trusted users naman maybe I'm not that trusted like theymos did pero dito sa local I guess kilala naman ako Smiley
Tell me if you still need this.

4338  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Nano Lost Seed Words on: May 10, 2018, 03:04:49 AM
I screwed something up and can no longer get the Bitcoin option to show up on the unit. I think I may have wiped it clean. The big problem is the seed word sheet went missing and I think it may have been lost among other papers.
If you say the device has been wiped then you did that or you input the wrong pin 3 times which will auto reset your device OR you go in the settings (Settings->Device->Reset all) and manually reset the nano. And are you in the "Welcome" screen of the device?  if not then try reinstalling your apps (bitcoin) using the ledger manager which was linked above and choose Bitcoin there still chance to recover your funds there if and only if.

Needless to say, I am screwed. Is there any way to hack into the unit to either retrieve what was eliminated or figure out the seed words?
If someone do that then the security features of the ledger nano is useless. The whole idea of hardware wallet is completely useless.
