purse.io closed your account while you have $300 BTC on it?

How exactly were you scammed? What say the terms & conditions when you invest in their cloud hashing?

If you have proof of your claim, you can directly start a court case in London.
4323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Casino - Players favorite 2017 on: January 07, 2017, 03:13:26 AM
I believe that something else that is very important when deciding to join a bitcoin casino is their reputation. Reputation is important so that users know the casino isn't going to scam them.

Did the owners ever run a website before? Are they using an API? (for example, MoneyPot) Do they communicate well with users on this forum and on other platforms? Have they ever done any giveaways?

Reputation is set by users in this forum, in sources like bitcoingg and askamblers and in social groups dedicated to this topic
Did the owners ever run a website before? - usually no one knows the owners, and in other cases its fake names. Very rare to find the faces like in Oshi case.
Giveaways - please explain

Sometimes, people who have successfully run a site before will open up a new site (For example, RHavar) so people instantly know that the site can be trusted.

I believe that giveaways help establish the fact that the site is reputable, as they are willing to publicly put in money. Of course, there are some exceptions, but I think that holding a giveaway shows that the owner has adequate funds to run the site, promote the site, and keep it going.
They provably publicise their accounting, so you know from where the money is coming from? Or are these simply your personal "assumptions"?

So you can't prove that you've done anything except for spaming your affiliate portal?

Kinda figured that.  There's a reason you got banned from 2p2.  Move along.
First thing I expect from a secret secret agent is the ability to read. Why do you not read on the Game Protect website?

4326  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I Have A Unique & Awesome Idea For a New Bitcoin Website, But I Need Help. on: January 05, 2017, 07:35:30 AM
Any project has 2 main parts: 1) Technical realisation and 2) Juridical construction

1) You need to write the business plan/road map. What resources are required, what can you deliver and what do you need external?

2) You need a legal advisor.

I have always interest to assist/cooperate with honest casinos. Also, please not that if you have a unique & awesome idea, it will not last for long as unique.
4327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Casino - Players favorite 2017 on: January 05, 2017, 06:50:53 AM
i am also surprised to see the number 1 Geo location in the list specially as the first thing! because we are talking about bitcoin casinos and those casinos that limit access to some countries are so few and the countries they limit are also so few making the group of people affected by this very small. and they can either use a VPN or use another casino easily.

and also i personally never thought about checking to see if a casino is licensed or not. i always check the reputation, mostly from their announcement.
besides i don't think any of them are. if i am not mistaken "online" gambling is illegal in some countries such as US and Philippines
Yes, you are mistaken in regard to the US online gambling. If you are resident in one of the few regulated states, it would be illegal to play at a not licensed site. In all other states, it is not allowed to transfer money to gambling sites, but you are allowed to play on gambling sites. Even if you gave the order to send money to a gambling site, you did not breach any law. The processor (i.e. Western Union, Money Gram) who transfered your money, breached US law.

Hence, everyone who played from a non-regulated US state, can perfectly enforce his claim thru legal action.

The number one concern to bitcoin gamblers is not geo location. They are lying. Since they decided to not address my points, I am leaving them negative feedback, and I would strongly encourage others to do so as well. This is nothing more than a paid marketing stunt by a bunch of known shady casino operators, trying to convince people that offering provably fair games does not matter.
+1 , this "survey" has nothing to do with the reality and appears to be a brain wash campaign to the favour of the shady operators he is affiliated with.

Everyone who is affiliated with the publicly proven betcoin.ag scam should get a negative feedback anyway.
4328  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pocket Dice – The first realistic dice game on: January 05, 2017, 06:37:38 AM
It took them over a month to come up with 102 btc.  They told several lies during that month.  The fact that they finally paid the player does not make everything ok.

They are available on the forums when there are no issues but suspiciously quiet now...

Players should know that.
Depending on the goodwill of the operator is the huge disadvantage when playing on "hide the operator" sites. At least they paid the prize won, unlike betcoin.ag
4329  Economy / Gambling / Re: btcfanbei on: January 05, 2017, 06:11:17 AM
If you would really wager 1000+ btc / hour, then you would have already paid someone to translate it to English. Even with only 10+ btc / hour, the translator would have been already paid.
4330  Economy / Gambling / Re: DuckDice.io – introducing cryptocurrency Dice Game! on: January 04, 2017, 10:02:25 PM

Affiliate commission is 15% but we apply it only for deposited money (this information was available only in the chat and we also added it to "affiliate" window), we don't apply affiliate commission when you are wagering Bonus (this Bonus money were granted to you from our Bankroll, free money plus 15% from the House Edge is a bit too generous in our opinion).

I agree with this^^^^
but i think you must clear things up so people not wasting for something which might not be worth it.

I like the dark theme. Good job

The point of bonuses and referrals are to try and generate traffic.  There are often costs involved in that.

To give them less than what was written and say you're giving too much afterwards is deceiving and bad business practice.
Based on contract laws they have to give what was stated, it is as simple as that. Typical behaviour of a "hide the operator" side, I had say.
4331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Casino - Players favorite 2017 on: January 04, 2017, 06:12:04 PM
I am surprised to see Geo location listed as 1., because most bitcoin casinos are "hide the operator" casinos and do not care about your location.

In addition, I am surprised to see "Is the casino licensed" as the next first important thing, as the "hide the operator" bitcoin casino signature campaign promoters here on bitcointalk, claim that almost no one would care about licensed or not.

I would like to see the percentage of the players who considered this as important? If players consider a license really as so important, it might would make sense to inform them about the quality of the licensing jurisdictions. A Curacao license i.e., is for players worthless.
4332  Economy / Reputation / Re: what happened with xetsr? on: January 04, 2017, 05:56:15 PM
I will discuss in terms of US law as this is the jurisdiction that xetsr is under.

If xetsr takes out a signature loan then xetsr owes the lender the amount of the loan plus interest (and other fees depending on the terms of the loan -- this will usually include collection fees/costs). If xetsr fails to pay the loan, then the lender can report xetsr negatively to the credit bureau (which is essentially what zazarb has done by reporting xetsr in this thread), and take xetsr to court to ask the court to issue a judgement in the amount of the unpaid portion of the loan plus interest, and if the judgement is granted, the court can forcefully take xetsr's property that is subject to the court's jurisdiction if property of sufficient value exists with certain limits.

If taking xetsr to court over the loan is not something the lender is willing to do (due to cost issues, or any other reason), then the only remedies of the lender are to ask xetsr to pay (which xetsr can stop via a cease and desist request -- which is not really a "request"), and report xetsr negatively to the credit bureau. If the negative reporting to the credit bureau is not sufficient to get xetsr to pay, then there is nothing else to force xetsr to pay the lender.

Quote
Xetsr is based in the US, and European courts would not have jurisdiction over him, so EU laws would not apply to him, but US law would.
If it was an anonymous credit, I have no idea how you could prove that US laws are applicable?
How would a European court get jurisdiction over xetsr if he is not located in Europe, and has never been to Europe?
I did not say that a European court would have jurisdiction over xetsr. My point is I find it strange that someone who would have committed a criminal offense by European law, is still on the DT list. I also did not know that it was a signature loan.

And if the loan was given anonymously, then you will likely have no success with civil court proceedings. Because in civil court proceedings you need to deliver the proof. You can hardly sue a forum account name in civil courts.
4333  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: January 04, 2017, 07:04:07 AM
The Lawyers are winning.
And how much did it cost so far? Or is it on a "no cure no pay" basis?

it is based on a percentage same as the mtgox bankruptcy case

these lawyers are saying everything if you read between the lines

which is basically it is well known what occurred was illegal and in time all recovered funds will be distributed with a percentage paid for legal work in the recovery

Thank you for the info.

If lawyers take it on a "no cure no pay" basis, then claimants have nothing to pay except court fees and there is a realistic chance to receive something, because otherwise lawyers would not take it on a percentage basis.
4334  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Over 25,000 mBTC in Monthly Leaderboards + Regular MONEYBACKS ⚽ on: January 04, 2017, 06:14:19 AM
From what did they pay out every single moneyback, leaderboard and any other promotion they have run?

You always seems to be looking down to this site evet since they launched and I do understand your concern. Instead of keep bashing the thread here, you should have just warn the players to not keep in large amount of money in the site to prevent any bad things from happening instead
Yes, this site draw my attention, as the manager already embezzled player funds and the license they have is for players worthless.

Asking from what they pay out every single moneyback, leaderboard and any other promotion they have run, is not bashing.

Everyone is old enough to decide how much money he wants to keep in the site and I do not care at all.

4335  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Over 25,000 mBTC in Monthly Leaderboards + Regular MONEYBACKS ⚽ on: January 04, 2017, 04:37:20 AM
Another moneyback offer from Sportsbet, you always prove that you are one of the best sportsbook which deal with Bitcoin.
How do they "prove" this? Do they publicise their accounting, showing money coming in and money going out?

It is a personal opinion and not a Fact. He said SportsBet the best based on many factors not just one based on his experience
Indeed they don't have great odds like others but they do have many other things that other sportsbook don't have
And not only odds makes a sportsbook best

Let's take an example, there are two internet providers A and B. A offers 500GB at $10 but provides a worst service and connection failures most of the time
While B offers 200GB at $12 and provides reliable services. In this case some people will go with A and frustrate while some with B and be happy
Which one you choose ?

No, he said another moneyback offer from Sportsbet proves that they are one of the best sportsbook!

But if there is no proof of where the money for the moneyback offer comes from, how could this prove that sportbet.io is one of the best sportsbook?

If the money for this another moneyback offer is created digital and not backed by sportsbet.io or the revenue they generate, would this still prove that sportsbet.io is one of the best sportsbook?

Money back alone does not proves that sportsbet is the best sports book but they do have a good betting line and many options available to wager the bets and since sportsbet.io is a bitcoin based sports betting site what is the point you are talking about as bitcoin is the revenue they generate and are you trying to tell that bitcoin is not at all a revenue source ?

Bitcoin is a very good revenue source, but if they do not generate enough revenue to finance all the moneyback, leaderboard prizes, license fee, marketing costs, operation costs, etc., how could this moneyback offer prove that they are one of the best sportsbook?

All you are doing is nit picking. The guy already explained what he meant. If his grammatical english is not perfect then mistakes are bound to happen. Look at his elaboration of what he actually meant. Stop using typos or someones faulty english to try and disprove the credibility of a website which has paid out every single moneyback, leaderboard and any other promotion they have run.
Currently processing withdrawals means absolutely nothing. 90% of the player balances could be already embezzled. If their too good to be true promotions like moneybacks, leaderboards, etc. are not sustainable, one day the players will pay the prize!

From what did they pay out every single moneyback, leaderboard and any other promotion they have run?
4336  Economy / Reputation / Re: what happened with xetsr? on: January 04, 2017, 04:05:47 AM
Credit fraud is clearly a criminal offense, as you have at least to stay in contact with the creditor.
No you don't lol. Have you ever heard of the FDCPA?
No, I am in Europe. Did xetsr took the loan based on US laws?

O.k., let us consider it as trustworthy to escape while owing a loan. Sun is moon and war is peace  Wink
I would assume that there are regulations in Europe allowing for borrowers to send a cease and desist letter considering how liberal Europe is (maybe you can quote European debt collection laws that refute this if you disagree).
Under which conditions you can cease the credit, depend on the conditions of the credit contract. If you do not request a private bankruptcy proceeding, then you have to pay the credit back + penalty charges.

Xetsr is based in the US, and European courts would not have jurisdiction over him, so EU laws would not apply to him, but US law would.
If it was an anonymous credit, I have no idea how you could prove that US laws are applicable?

I did not say that xetsr not paying his loan is trustworthy, I said that it is not criminal.
"O.k., let us consider it as trustworthy to escape while owing a loan. Sun is moon and war is peace  Wink" was a general sarcastic suggestion, after you declined credit fraud as a criminal offense.

In other words, if someone gave presumably enough accurate trust ratings, he is allowed to commit criminal offenses himself and is still a trusted member of this community? Credit fraud is clearly a criminal offense, as you have at least to stay in contact with the creditor.

While I personally do not care about this "trust" system, I can inform that xetsr gave me a proved inaccurate "trust" rating. The funny part is that haters claim I would be untrustworthy because of the feedback of "trusted" members on the DT list, aka xetsr!
