No one know it, there are good signals (regulamentations news, large business adopters ecc...) that let us hope maybe it can increase but as already show in the past there are no certainties (especially with bitcoin)
thats true, no one knows if the price will actually keep on growing right now or it will be dumped to really low numbers, thats why bitcoin is so interesting for me no one can predict what is going to happen in my opinion we will soon see a decent price growth though thats just my guess and anything might happen, but i think the halving will give bitcoin a huge potential to grow I heard the SegWit or the 2MB block size will be released in the next Core software, it could raise the price. whenever this block size increase is implemented, the price will surely show a good bump in the price. i however think it will be a short lastig bump that will get dumped down again in quite a short time. The block size increase will increase the bitcoin price, maybe triple the price, but it will take long time. Don't be silly. Block size has nothing to do with price. It's a matter of demand and supply, mass adoption, etc. Supply and demand is indeed the main thing, but things as the block halving, and even to a certain extend increasing the block size, have a speculative effect on the price. demand is the only true factor for when the price increase, not supply, supply is limited to a fixed amount by miner if you mean trading supply, aka those who dump, they are certain the same who bought first at a higher level than the previous dump, so they are just going to helpt he price increase

We need one solid bull run to cross $10K. It might happen sooner than 2026, is what I feel. The next halving might push us to that level. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) it can not go from $600 to $10k just because another halving is taking place, so we must have first another pump or two, to 3k-5k level, then we might see more easily the 10k mark

I think it's safe to say the price of BitCoins isn't gong to move much beyond the $ 650's for a few weeks, if not a few months. Most people would agree that the price was pumped before halving in anticipation of the price being what it is now.
i bet it will take the same time, that was needed to move from 430 to the current value, so 3 months max

wddm still 2.0 there, microsoft removed the 2.1 again, you need to wait for the official released of those drivers, due in august
otherwise for now mine lyra2v2 which is better than etheruem

Rx 480 on LBRY (LBC) any info?
115MH, not that good compared with pascal

Ok thanks..
I am having issues while mining on windows 10.. my gpus just go to sleep.. anyone knows what the issue might be ?
Might it be weak PSU? I am running 2 1070s on corsair tx750v2
adjust the power setting for windows 10, remove the 10/30 min sleep for both the monitor and the system

interesting so it boost all the way up to 2G, while other card only reach 18xx, must be an extreme version or something
usually 2GH require oc with those gpu

|

what is the expected hashrate, the same as epsylon?

well, just inserted my new Palit Super JetStream gtx 1070 instead of poor gtx 750. My rig is running win7 so a launch nicehash miner for the first time and it is running now lyra2v2 40mh/s clocks are >2000mhz core, 1900 mem ... Tried sia with gominer - 1700 mhs Don't no what is better ))
2000mhz? nice what about temp and fan speed? is it stable at 2k? consumption?

So what do you guys think of the upcoming 1060? Might be the first Nvidia card I actually buy since the 480 was a huge mess with the burning PCIe slots.
Drawing more power from pcie slot was solved And 1060 is not as good for mining Best NV card for mining is 1070 atm considering that etheruem is not the top coin by a long shot, it mean that the 1060 in the worst case is the second best card, and if you want to buy a low budget rig 1060 is a good choice imho

These things work but are usually overpriced and its cheaper just buying another motherboard+cpu.
yes in fact it's possible to buy mb+cpu+ram+ssd for less than $100 if they are used, new they are around $160 and since you can not avoid buying other psu anyway, it's pointless also there are some bad story about power risers and two psu with he asrock if you use two molex(one from each psu), you would fry your motherboard

I spent 1 hour and ported the LBRY credit kernals to cuda from opencl. Opensource@github.
You cannot yet mine it, because I have to add the miner logic.
so you will released it with a new release or with the 80 sp mod? is your version faster? So what do you guys think of the upcoming 1060? Might be the first Nvidia card I actually buy since the 480 was a huge mess with the burning PCIe slots.
it depend on the cost, to be honest i like to have more density, i prefer the 1070

From the performance we see from the AMD RX 480 in the Ethereum mining, the RX470 could be a good card.
etheruem is not the top notch anymore, it does not matter how they are good on etheruem if they are shit on other algo

The 2.5 slot Palit 1070 JetStream is superb. It can be OC to Super JetStream base clock speed easily and stay cooler than Gigabyte G1 Gaming. I think all Palit 1070 models are of same design (2 10cm fans, 5 heat pipes), only different is factory OC spec.
check if vram are covered, because probably they are not

well, by my calculations (which could always be waaaay off lol): 16 cards * 6 slots = 96 cards (on a PRO BTC) 96 cards * 170 watts/card = 16,320 watts (assuming gigabyte 270x windforce, my kill-o-watt reads 150-170) So, minimum you would need 16 * 1100 watt PSU's plus a small 250-300 watt PSU to run the PRO-BTC board.
Lmao I wonder if the windows AMD driver modder program can handle 96 cards LMFAO
no way it can not even handle 8 properly, let alone 96, not to mention you are still forced to buy psu anyway which is the most expensive out of all the components that do not mine better to stick with the standard six gpu rig
|
|

with that electricity i would avoid old generation, better to buy new polaris for amd, if you really want to stay with amd
also old gen have like zero resale value, which is very important, if the overall profit die
|
|
|
thank you i think genesis-mining.com scam :'(they cut my dogecoin mining payout 50% ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif) avoid cloud mining, build your miner with either gpu or asic if you really like them i would advise gpu they are far better in terms of resale and profit

Finaly after 4 hours of messing around and playing around on windows got the bleeder working.
452157ms th_a witness.cpp:430 on_applied_block ] hash rate: 24674 hps target: 30 queue: 104 estimated time to produce: 625 minutes
Not sure if this is good hash rate or not 24,674 hps using 6 threads on CPU. Someone be as kind to tell me what block rewards are per block ?
how many coins per day with that hash, looking to see if this is somehow convenient to mine even with cpu only

Yikes! Seems NVIDIA will really murder most AMD cards at these hashrates. The most I can get from a 7970/280X is 70MH/s. 290 is 76MH/s.
yes because wolfo didn't optimize it on purpose, he is probably doing 30% more

I just got my replacements from Amazon I ordered the beginning of the month!! $239 Each!!
Replacements? Yes, the 1st ones fried the motherboard (my bad, using non powered risers). Returned those and ordered 4 more ($10 each cheaper as well). So did it fry the cards too? Were you using the un-updated drivers? Yes, I was using the old drivers (I got my cards on release day). Were the cards blown? No idea. Returned them, got credit and ordered replacements. Cards are here, still waiting on the new motherboards. 2 ASRock's on the way!! Did you plug the two molex connectors when the 480X fried the mother boards? I think it should not. I was using unpowered risers, so only the 6 pin on the card was connected. I now have powered risers. Live and learn you don't need powered risers with asrock h81 pro btc, just plug in the two molex, i'm running the same rig with standard ribbon risers, and never had any problem
