4341  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BPIP] Bitcointalk Public Information Project on: April 22, 2020, 12:09:03 PM
It was actually like this in the past, but it didn't make sense (or match) with the current layout of the main page and how it displays ranks (via the shared rank table). Would need to do some serious reconstruction on the front page if we wanted to do it this way.

I'm sorry to say I don't understand your answer - perhaps you could walk me through it...

Over on this page: https://bpip.org/report.aspx?r=mosttrusted <--- Assuming you have gotten over your fear of links that I post from third party sites)  Roll Eyes

User mstrongbow has a score of 20 which gives his rank as 1,000.

Scrolling up six full pages, user TTBit also has a score of 20 yet his rank is 771.

How have the rankings been determined so that a full 229 users have the exact same scores yet their ranks are skewered so distortedly?  Neither has posted in over a year.

By giving mstrongbow a score of 1,000 his rank is far lower than TTBit *even though* they have the same score.

It then becomes a never ending circle - distorted score is used to calculate a distorted score on this page, then that distorted score is used to calculate a distorted score on another page.  That page's distorted score is then used on the first page to calculate a distorted score (and 'round it goes).

Both have just one shield:

abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz

Both have just one score (20) - it makes no sense to say one is 229 ranks better than the other one.

Have you made a decision yet?

We're down to the last week for people to have their say and cast their vote.  So far there hasn't been much in the way of dissension.

(and that should have read ~ BTC 3.0 <--- typo)
4343  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Plead] Phinnaeus Gage's User Moniker Manifested Due to a Malignant Brain Tumor on: April 22, 2020, 06:32:05 AM
Bruno's Plead was for ~ BTC 2.0 - so far the donations fall well short of that figure, so there is no necessity to lock this thread.  All other discussions are unnecessary.
4344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SXC][NSFW] Sexcoin - New Android Client Release! on: April 22, 2020, 05:07:24 AM
Thanks to Lyno for chipping in $15 I have now extended the SXC block explorer hosting on Chainz [ https://chainz.cryptoid.info/sxc/ ] for a further six months:

( € 53.40 ) https://paymium.com/invoice/be7fde57-24f9-4425-ad4f-e5a2c3176c38

If anyone wants to donate crypto to ensure the continued blockchain of SexCoin, they can either make payments direct to Chainz here: [Link] or donate BitCoin to wallet address 33SXCCointzavaN1S2KFGguLEyH7fwc84v - these funds will be used exclusively to continue funding the block chain.  Other cypto's can be accepted via Coin Plaza https://www.coinplaza.it/ instant exchanges.

Any funds held by me can be viewed via this thread: Timelord2067 - funds held by me 2019/20

Where is Lutpin anyway?

The OP was last edited at the end of October, 2017.  The last post in this thread was *almost* three months ago and many of the campaigns listed in the OP are now a distant memory.  Some of the names listed by the three users in the OP's group have been, or are still active participants in, Signature Campaigns to this day.  (I won't say who they are so that I don't retroactively jeopardise their participation in those campaigns).

Is there really any need for this thread to continue? @theymos has given clearer directions on the use of the Trust Feedbacks and much has been discussed about it's abuse. (irony)  Likewise @LoyceV has written clear and concise guidelines on the trust feedback and default trust settings and their application.
4346  Economy / Services / Re: Davinci's Gold Casino Signature & Avatar Campaign(1 hero/legendary spot open) on: April 22, 2020, 01:40:50 AM
Withdrawn, I didn't see this:

Hello everyone, as promised I am back within 24 hours with a reply from the company. We will continue the campaign for 1 more week. After this next payout the signature campaign will be taking a break.

Best of luck to everyone.
4347  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Walmart34 scammed me after doing great business for 4 months on: April 22, 2020, 01:29:17 AM
I disagree.  He has no chance of getting near DT, so why waste time bloating up your list?

The flag does a lot more than making a private note you won't trust him if he ever gets on DT.
Absolutely on point.
Distrusting should mostly come in mind when a scammer has a high potential of becoming a DT member or is already one. Negative feedback and trust flags should be more than enough. If they do try to get on DT later on, members will notice it.

I appreciate both of your thoughts and am taking them into consideration.
4348  Economy / Reputation / Re: Chipmixer sponsor dangerous untrustworthy members and Racists and unfair treat? on: April 22, 2020, 01:21:20 AM
You should have a look at some of the earliest Signature Campaigns - the Campaign Managers were enticing participants to created between 4,000 and 6,000 posts *per month*.  Creating shit posts for pennies isn't just a new experience, it's been entrenched in the Forum practically since the dawn of BitCoin itself.

JUST A REMINDER TO NEVER BUY FROM THIS GUY. HE HAS SO MANY SCAM ACCUSATIONS AND IS STILL TRYING TO SELL.

I see he's still online within the last hour just now.

People need to add these scammers to their distrust lists, not just slap them with negative trust feedback and/or supporting flags against them.

4350  Economy / Services / Re: <unnamed> Cryptocurrency exchange for sale on: April 21, 2020, 03:32:33 PM
Why so coy about the name of the exchange and why not use your "real" account?  You make no mention of contracts let alone escrow or legal options.
4351  Other / Meta / Re: [POLL] Should I donate the Known Alts Donation funds to Bruno's plea? on: April 21, 2020, 07:15:35 AM
... "bud" ...

You do understand that "bud" refers to a certain type of green leafy plant that is sometimes smoked and it's "bud" is traded to grow in small, well lit rooms?
4352  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] CoinPlaza.it: non-custodial instant crypto exchange - Bitcoin ⚡ Enabled on: April 21, 2020, 02:24:44 AM
I just wrote to them. They're just updating their lightning node and it should be up again in around 1 hour.

I just noticed that the site allow SEPA transfers... There is something I don't understand tho... this page says that you can trade up to 250eur per month, and if you want to increase the limits, you'll have to verify your identity... But it seems like even when I keep the amount below that limit and then hit "exchange" they are still asking me to add a bank account which I cant do unless I submit my documents?

Thanks for touching base with them.  I submitted my ID documents a few months ago, but am guessing it's one of things that isn't very relevant at the moment.  The KN part of their site looks to be available again, I'll have a try in a little while.

Perhaps calling out means something different to you  that is where the confusion is.

Perhaps.

Malboroza seems to be a prime lauda supporter and pusher of double standards.

That much is true.

We are the first exchange to accept ⚡ Bitcoin Lightning ⚡ , although with low exchange limits.

Greetings,

Your Lightning Network seems to be offline, or not accepting trades, will it be back online soon?  Are you looking to add altcoin crypto to your stable?

Archive [1a], [1b]

I seem to recall either toaa or ch was calling malboroza out and you gave them red for swearing at malboroza.

I'll say again:

I believe you have given red to a member previously for calling malboroza out as a scammer supporting piece of shit.

Proof, or it never happened.

Here's what I wrote:

The-One-Above-All's trust feedback wall:

...and...

cryptohunter's Trust Feedback Wall:

Here are the three links:

If you look at the second and third links (which are archives BTW) cryptohunter is attacking marlboroza and in essence I have defended marlboroza by giving cryptohunter negative feedback trust BECAUSE of that post.

Here is what @cryptohunter wrote about @marlboroza

Good members like Moronbozo who have never achieved anything or made any original thought provoking posts of any real value, yet that seek to red trust honest members that uncovered huge scams and fought many times alone against all manner of scam promoting scum like lauda and huge black woman. Red trusting them for some pathetic scare quotes bullshit. These fools are the "good " members apparently.

Do you even know who you are fighting, or why?
4356  Other / Meta / Re: [POLL] Should I donate the Known Alts Donation funds to Bruno's plea? on: April 20, 2020, 07:34:04 AM
There are two perspectives so far that you must consider if you want to donate your BTC to Bruno.
  • If you want to appreciate the contribution of Bruno who has made him a highly respected member, then you must donate it without having to consider whether the funds collected can be used by his family or not. Even though you will not donate all the bitcoin you mentioned, but in reality you have appreciated him and his last wishes.
  • If you want your donations to be used by his family then make sure that the funds collected in several wallets can be withdrawn and distributed to the family for the benefit of Bruno and this way is to prevent an increase in the amount of funds collected in vain
Apart from all that, you can appreciate Bruno contribution in any way as long as its good for you, the forum and many other users.

Thanks for your input.  As I explained in the OP the funds aren't mine.  I have separately donated $50 towards the Plead, now I would like to give back to an early scam hunter in his hour of need.  As with everything, I have no doubt at the right time the funds will be accessed.  I felt that it shouldn't be just up to the current participants of the Known Alts thread, hence the public poll.

...They haven't done there fucking jobs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just thought I'd point out that the correct use of "their" you are grasping to use is as follows:

Code:
T
H
E
I
R

There are many other examples of how they're doing their jobs if you know where to look such as over there.

OK?

Guys, we have almost completed this topic, we have done what we should have done, the donations have been made. Bruno has rested, so this topic should also come to an end (although it cannot be locked), I suggest that we all stop posting any other posts here, even if it is impulse suddenly or condolences, it all ended. Don't create any other posts in this topic unless you have some important notice regarding donation fund  Wink Please  Wink

No need to shout - BTW the topic can easily be locked by a moderator.

In answer to your request for posts concerning donations: Everyone: Don't forget to vote in this thread:

[POLL] Should I donate the Known Alts Donation funds to Bruno's plea?

Some people have been discussing Bruno etc instead of the question of the poll, so I have asked those users to take their discussions back to this relevant thread, hence I don't feel this thread needs locking.  Not the least of which some people may be in lockdown with little or no internet access and won't be able to pass on their condolences until they come out of sometimes punishing lockdowns.
