4341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: July 13, 2021, 08:31:09 PM
Can the bucks even the series at 2 apiece? if they want to do that then, they have to look at their advantage as a team, an example is their height have more athletic bigs, and because of injuries Portis is given a chance and now have a role in the team unlike before, limit Chris paul with the ball, the heart of the team is Paul, the booker is a score, not a facilitator so that will be a problem for suns, harder defense to Payne, this guy is a scorer and a passer also, they have to watch this guy.

It's possible, they have the momentum, and it will be in their home court. And Giannis is playing like a true MVP so it will be a good NBA finals that we are seeing. CP3 on his last leg and will force himself to play good and win this series. And then we have the Bucks on the other hand, trying to proved that they are no fluke and Giannis also wanting to get his first NBA ring. So it's going to be a long gruelling series, and yes probably would go to game 7. So still 50/50 up to this point.

I don't think it's exactly 50/50 at this point yet.  Suns still control home court advantage and Bucks HAVE to win game 4 to get it back even.  They can easily be down 3-1 and will have to face 3 win or go home games (2 of them on the road) to win the finals.  They aren't obviously out of it but they are definitely the underdogs right now.
4342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why some are still loosing money in crypto on: July 13, 2021, 08:28:22 PM
if you have been in 2017 you experience ups and downs of the market, lots of gains but lots of losses in some, but even though you have been through those times, still you haven't learn to correct those mistakes, I think there are lots of things that changes your view regarding the market and this are the following:
  • You follow a persons advice through his social account post example is Elon musk
  • You still believe that a certain coin will come back from the dead even though you already knew its a scam
  • you just follow your instinct and never make single research
  • emotions still control you to decided
mostly I see people who are successful in crypto have spent lots of time, before they reach where they are, yes there are things that are associated with luck but don't just depend on it.

I would like to add the trend and the hype, when there is a trend in the market and those who started it are legit and profitable to their investors expect a lot of imitation on that kind of project, the trend right now is DeFi and meme coin and there are a lot of projects that's are now imitating these legit meme coins and DeFi, they do rug pull and or runaway with investors money and neglecting their roadmap, so always dig deep.

Pretty much hit the nail on the head.  People tend to follow trends but don't know when to jp ship (looking at you dogecoin bagholders).  People tend to think there will be a rebound or even worse claim they are cost averaging and throw more good money on a diving asset.  It happens time and time again and don't see it changing.  Crypto is filled with greed.  Where there is greed there is failure.
4343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in Litecoin (LTC) and Monero (XMR) on: July 13, 2021, 08:25:08 PM
Hey fellows, hurry up and invest most of your  money  on Litecoin (LTC) and Monero (XMR). I heard  from a very reliable grapevine that ending this week and coming weeks, Litecoin  and Monero are going to have a very strong  bullish trend.

The last time I ignored the knowledge from the same source, I was pulling my hairs from my head because what the source said was accurate  to a T and I ignored it.

I have  already  invested  35% of my total capital in each LTC & XMR.

I know most of you have been having hard time like the rest of the world. So here is a chance to fatten your cryptos.

Good luck!

Viketo Sumi

Lol OK so some random person is telling me to rush out and "invest most of my money on".....  Yeah no thanks.  I might buy those 2 but not from a random thread, what's the point of this post.  Maybe Chuck up some of that TA your friend is talking about to put some validity in it.  And in the next coue weeks I don't think you are going to see much movement from any crypto either way.
4344  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: July 13, 2021, 08:22:27 PM
So glad to see the Bucks come in strong.  Would have been a boring finals if it was a clean sweep.  Since I don't have a dog in the fight I'd like to see this one go 7.  Nothing like a game 7  for a finals.  In the end I hope the Suns do win.  Like to see CP3 get a chip and he doesn't have much time left to get one.
4345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: July 13, 2021, 08:20:28 PM
I would recommend we draft as close to league kickoff as we can as nothing is worse than drafting a guy high up and having something happen to him before the regular season even starts! Cheesy

Also drafting before pre-season is just taking alot of the fun of scouting new talents away.

I am away most weekends weekday nights are better for me but I can figure something out if it's on a Saturday night.  Also are we all generally in the same timezone.  Do we have any non US folks in the league.  And lastly I can get a coue members here join if we want a 10 person league.  I generally like at least 20 as it makes the waiver wire part of the season.  8 team league is fine it's just every team is stacked.  Up to you all...and lastly I'm down for any price .0015 is fine by me.  Just let me know where and when to send Smiley
4346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will dogecoin drop to $0.2 again? on: July 12, 2021, 10:32:09 PM
I dont believe that dogecoin holders will allow the price to be dropped to 1 cent. And it is really hard to believe that something, that once cost more than 70 cents, was on a huge hype and had great support, could drop that low. But I dont deny the fact that dogecoin will continue to drop in price. Elon is quite silent about dogecoin and people seems to have enough of this dogecoin and all of its imitators.

Lol you must be new(ish) to crypto.  In any crypto bear almost all alts dive 90+% off their high.  Especially in used.  Not only do they lose in sats but then when bitxoin is also going down its like a speed train down the usd price chart for alts.  The highs are high and the lows are low.  Alts are the pink sheets of crypto.  A toy
4347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dissapointments of the creation of the thousands of failed altcoins. on: July 12, 2021, 10:29:36 PM
If users stop investing in shit projects, then there will be less number of failed coins. Right now the situation is that the promoters are guaranteed to get tens of millions from an ICO, even if the project doesn't have anything unique about it. Most of the new projects are just old wine in new bottle. And in many cases, the promoters stop their development, once the ICO is complete. Even after all these years, investors haven't learnt any lesson from their failures. They still hope that there will be that magic moment where they get 100x or 200x returns from a new project.

I don't think failed coins are the problem. Failed in the senes that someone really tried. That is part of any industry where start ups launch and fail. The real issue are the outright scam projects disguised as legitimate and hard trying. It is difficult sometimes to differentiate the scams from the real failures because you could pretend you tried hard, pay yourself a decent salary and let the coin fail on purpose. I believe that happens more often than we would think.

Oh it's pretty much the course and has been since the first forks started coming out.  Ypu can honestly believe ypu will retain your investment in any of these shady coins.  It's a gble in hope of a quick flip, the fact that people get pissed amazes me since ypu pretty much need to look at every "project" like it's a scam outside the course of a select few decent actual projects out there.
4348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Million dollar win on $15 parlay whoa on: July 12, 2021, 10:26:12 PM
Damn! That's the fucking beauty of parley. I had never seen such a big win for this tiny amount of bet. However, odd for the golf seem too high. How come everyone lost to underdog? Were they manipulated? I have no idea on golf match odd though as I never check out them. It seems unusual.
Manipulated or just pure win then no one can know and what is impressive here on how that gambler or guy able to know that those underdogs could beat up the favorites.?

No one would anticipated that and this is indeed a lucky hit even with experience with parlays having 3 lines is already hard to win up even betting with the favorites.

It is just amazing on how far could you able to earn but of course it would be needing that extreme luck.

Yep think this just a pure luck thing, no way multiple championships wereanipulated so a $15 parlay ticket could hit.  Sometimes people just hit the lottery and that's what this guy's slip was.

Wheelz says he's still down.

Don't mean to harsh the vibe but how do we all feel about the buy-in. Do we all agree 0.0015 is a good amount? I propose we:

- nominate a treasurer to hold the funds (I nominate DireWolf... if he doesn't want the job then suchmoon)
- make a deadline to deposit the buy-in
- hold the draft 48 hours after the deadline... that way we can get a new player if we need one before the draft

How does that sound?

Let's hope BTC does a 5xer during the season, that would make it extra exciting.

Yep sorry folks lost the trail on this one I'm definitely in.  And I'm down for whatever price we go in at.  Is this only an 8 team league  Shocked yum.  Will make rounds 4-10 less stressful.

I definitely lile the bitcoin hash to determine slots.  Litecoin chain is quicker could even just use that.  Everyone get 2 of the 16 alpha-num and one by one let the chain pick the order.

I do think it is a great time to have your #83 cards graded.  Any #83 ginter x, silver glossy's, or any numbered cards.  I doubt I would grade and regular common or mini's..  300.00 is a little much to pay for grading for the commons.

Yep I'm just waiting for psa to catch up, not worth a "quick" turn for $300 that's robbery.  Will wait for the value and economy options come back online.  They are catching up the backlog fairly rapidly now.  I imagine there is a ton a more graders working than we're in 2020.  Wonder how it's gonna effect the quality of the grading.

I wonder if economy prices will ever come back.

They will no one will grade a card worth under $500 ever again beckett will take all of their business.  They will 100% be back.  I imagine a good portion of their business is value and economy.

Beckett raised their minimum grading cost to 250.00, yuk.

Beckett and psa will get a dose of market cool off.  Trust me the $20 grading will be back shortly.  As card prices continue to fall so will be the urgency to grade especially at insane prices.  Grading is mostly for flippers, it needs to make cost sense for people to grade and right now it's not unless you are sitting on diamond cards.

Looks like game 2 will be different from game 1.

Despite the dominance the Suns have shown in game 1, this line movement now is very suspicious for me.
Suns are now only -4.5. I guess more money will flow for the Suns with this line, however, this looks like a trap for me.
Your thoughts on this guys.

Yeah me too.  I'm still on the Suns but that dip is sus.  A late drop in odds is never good for the favorite but the Suns look strong.  Yeah they aren't gonna sweep but coming off that game and still at home is when I want to lay on them.  Maybe drop the over too.
4354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dissapointments of the creation of the thousands of failed altcoins. on: July 08, 2021, 10:13:56 PM
99.99% of every altcoin is just a clone with a different name and supply.  There is no point to most of them.  In fact I'd go to offer and say most of the people who create them have already created hundreds of others, they profit and move on.  That's the game.  Ignore them and it won't bother you anymore
4355  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [INFO] Topps Allen & Ginter Reference Thread on: July 08, 2021, 10:11:22 PM
Looks like #83 has cooled a bit.  When bitcoin takes off again I believe we will see a surge in prices for these cards.  This is the perfect time to have your cards graded during this lull period.   Cool Cool

It's not the #83 it's the whole market.  Sports cards definitely peaked early this year and have all come down significantly.  Even though it's not "sports" the crypto card will also move as the sports card industry moves.

I think the #83 is however more closely tied to the price of bitcoin than it is to the sportscard industry.

I don't know Dolph.  There is no direction connection to price like load value or anything.  If you track the price rise and fall it coincided with the entire sports card craze.  Not saying there isn't different collectors of the crypto card but the rise and fall have been the same.
4356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH to $10K? on: July 08, 2021, 08:49:12 PM
The much-awaited EIP-1559 upgrade will make ETH scarcer than ever. Demand seems to be on the rise lately, although prices have stalled quite a bit because of the bearish market. Projects like Uniswap, Compound, Aave, and even MakerDAO should make ETH more valuable over time. At a price of $2,085 (since the time of this writing), I'd say that ETH is quite a bargain these days.

I'm starting to wonder how much ETH will be worth in the future. After all, it's the best cryptocurrency in the world (besides Bitcoin). If BTC reached astronomical gains within such a short amount of time, then ETH can easily reach "Mars". What do you think? Will $10K per ETH be feasible in the long term? If not, why? What is your price prediction for the next 5 years? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley

It all depends on orange coin honestly.  If bitcoin goes to $500k will eth going to $10k be a "success"?  It's all relative same thing with the reverse.  If bitcoin goes to $5k do I think eth can go to $10k. Change the future guess in terms of sats and now ypu have a level playing field.  Otherwise too many obstacles to ever predict ANY alt price.
4357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto - place where promise is worth more than product on: July 08, 2021, 08:46:34 PM
Crypto is definately a "get ahead of it" game.  Buying alts before anything is ever shown from it is a keen to gambling, some win most lose.  The only winners are always the "developers".  The alt game is fixed, everyone loses as soon as the market turns for the worse.  This next bear will be no different, bankrupting paper richess from people who blindly thought it was their right to just...get rich.
4358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: EURO 2020 England vs Italy - Poll ⚽ on: July 08, 2021, 08:41:55 PM
Honestly I think Italy takes it.  Whether it's in reg time or extra time I don't know.  They looked real good against Spain and don't feel the same about how England looked.  They seem susceptible to a counter and Italy is real creative.  Going to take a real concerted effort I think from the English side to get over on Italy.

Hello BTT Users,

As You all Know That Elon Musk Has a Great Role in Current Btc Manipulation, and as tesla bot acept bitcoin btc more due to bitcoin energy issue.
Now A Big Meeting is going On 22 July 2021, Between Elon Musk and Jack Dorsey, So what can happen in this meeting? As Jack always try to do good for bitcoin sp he will Convence elon and
Tesla will again Accept Bitcoin? Btc will got o 20k$ or 70k$?
As I am Perosnally Thinking that we can't Ignore this meeting,
what you people can think? Share Your views

I don't think either.  If I had to pick it would be 20k, there just isn't enough steam or buy pressure to get a double out of bitcoin in a couple weeks.  It easily can slide though...hoping for a lot of sideways trading for awhile.
