what i dont understand is why the US does request china to catch small vern? i mean they easily could like the snowden case had shown. or all the cryptsy customers could fund private headhunters to hunt him in china directly ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) only 10000 customers pay 100$ and we have a 1mio reward on his catch China has no extradition treaty with USA, afaik

Dollar cost averaging is for people who can't see when the prices are high or low, so blindly invest regardless what the price is. Why not save and invest at prudent moments? Like now instead of 2 days ago. 2 days ago it looked far more dangerous than it doesn now.
It still could go down from here, but it is less likely.
I bought in between $200-300 and haven't bought since.
Great advice - don't try to spread the risk. Just go on instinct. And, if possible, buy at $200. Easy to be a wise man with hinsight. To be fair, it was not hindsight, it was foresight. It was you being lucky and bragging about it. And then offering bad advice. Buying at a time when the value of Bitcoin went way lower than it should have was hardly luck, more like basic intelligence. Just buy the dip every time (or the crash if you get that opportunity). If you can call the tops - and the bottoms - then you are a better man than 99.9% on here. For the rest of mankind cost averaging doesn't seem like a bad strategy to me. agreed, been auto weekly buying for past 3 years. Have done very well. Could have done even better if i had stuck to my guns and not sold at what i thought was incoming crash that turned into a pump and vice versa. aka... i suck at trading. i just buy and hodle .

great attitude there bud...lemme guess...you have issues with road rage? GTFO if you don't know this acronym, GO THE FUCK OFF. And changing the quotes, you're a fucking moron. The real quote so no one gets confused by this monkey. I have to wait a week or more for payout this fucking bullshit.
lol looks like they are punishing you for holding your btc with them at a fixed % instead of a set fee rate, on hashnest we pay .0002 fix btc to do any amount of a withdraw, if they are screwing people with a fixed % instead of a fixed amount. Then you are getting properly screwed.

The acceleration of the price is subtly increasing. Few days ago, price was going up 50$ every 24h, and now it is 100$+ per day lol
so if you need to know the price of bitcoin in future, simply take current price then add 50 for every day forward. so for example price of bitcoin next sunday ... 2020 plus (7 times 50 ) equals 2370.. hell... people pay big money for this advice...its not rocket science folks.... (disclaimer ...do your own research)
well I was only off 50%.... give or take a few satoshis...

my honest bet now is that the person who stole the coins lost the keys, and they are gone forever.
This is something I've always suspected from the start. Why on earth would these stolen coins not have moved since the hack? Its quite possible that scumbag vern got his files scrambled, forgot, lost or fucked up a password or whatever, in his haste to secure potentially millions of dollars. Because thats all it takes to lose ones bitcoins. Its easily done. and there's NO WAY TO RECOVER!! Hell, I know, it happened to me. I set a password to a new wallet after I'd funded it (stupid phukin me! never do that again without testing it 1st) . Went to re open it a week later and nope... password NFG!!! WTF?? ...ahhhhh!!!. thank goodness I had a recovery seed that worked.

so looking at the history on a now empty obsolete ancient btc wallet I dug up from the bowels of my pc, just for shiggles, its kinda funny lookin at the daily 6 months worth of dust payments (12/2014 to 6/2015... dust then, mind you... not so much now) from a total scam "lifetime" cloud contract I bought back in the day when those scammy ass things were all the rage before they all cut and ran. The irony is it looks like I made out made out like a bandit because it shows my daily payout in fiat at todays bitcoin price. lol

Back in June 2013 I signed up for 1000 free XRP - well today I converted to them to BTC. Happy days. This is my first (and last?) time using Ripple. Such a strange user experience. When it works, it's great - fast and cheap. But waaaay to many cryptic error messages. 11 failed attempts before it finally worked.
2013 sign up and a newbie eh? good lord! i guess you took lurking to a whole new level eh?... I don't know why I''m still a newbie - the system is rigged. I have been reading this thread just about every day for all these years.... I'm just not very talkative. Oh and my list of blocked users is huge :-) Anyhow, Stamp is slowly approaching 2300, so that's cool. well the system doesn't recognize reading only. you have to engage it. anyway don't be shy.. post freely and welcome
