4341  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Einstein Exchange possible exit scam on: November 06, 2019, 03:48:38 PM

cointelegraph article says the exchange owes more than $16 million to its customers, according to CBC news.  unregistered exchange i guess has to be  seized by the government before it will eventually disappear, we've seen it happen over and over about scams. There was an exchange in Canada as well where the news says CEO died, its still going to leave doubts to people that its an exit scam.
4342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How someones made 184 Billion Bitcoin appear out of nowhere on: November 06, 2019, 03:37:25 PM

didn't know once upon a time there was an incident like this that had happened. if the hacker sold the 184B BTC even just for few cents during that time he still can come up with huge amount of profit from his work. it would have been very disastrous for everyone if it happens these days,  some people today already depend to crypto industry and if all of a sudden crashes lives will also be broken. its a good thing that was solved and the hacker had seen that hole long time ago.
4343  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risks with using trading Signals on: November 06, 2019, 02:21:42 PM
Trading is not an easy things to do. Its much easy to lo lose  money here but have a great chance to earn as well . I think it always a bad decision to follow the signal from someone or any group .You can't afford to lose money by someone call .We have to learn first and make study always on market .It will give a great knowledge to us .We have to learn from our each and every mistake .So i always suggest not to follow signal .

there are traders who started to learn trading with altcoins. specially the altcoins paired with usdt, they are best to practice with and you can do it with the very few bucks you have like $200. its almost the same thing with btc/usdt all you need to learn is which indicator are you comfortable using with. just about 2 or 3 indicators you know how to use i think is enough for you to see where the market is going at particular time frame. once you already know, you wouldn't be joining that telegram group providing signals.
4344  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 things you need to know before trading crypto on: November 06, 2019, 01:43:10 PM

before trading in crypto i guess the first one a new trader should remember is that there is no sure strategy that he is going to win at every position made. as a newbie he will lose money and its discourage not to get into trading unless you have DYOR and the best way to do it is just to INVEST only the extra amount they got and  HOLD on to it for long term investment.
4345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves Investors Beware!Sasha Ivanov keeps peoples funds on: November 05, 2019, 07:18:30 PM

you all post this on waves thread, i remember he also mentioned this there but were not tackled again for years. i'm a waves holder too, but things like this should have been addressed longtime ago before he does some more sidechains. NXT assets is actually hard to use for a newbie, so it deserves attention.

Well, something new is in progress for me Ivanov, another moneygrab crowdfunding for his Tokenomica. Yes, apparently he needs more funds, remarkably while it used to be on Waves' roadmap for a long time.
Mind you, mr Ivanov is sitting on 30k btc ico for waves and 120million for selling Vostok. Apart from all btc forks we can conclude he is worth around 500million$. He wabts more, and by not swapping NXT assets he gives the impression he wants it all.

no projects right now receives that much of funds from investors. its just crazy that he just kept it for himself.

4346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I talk about market problems? on: November 05, 2019, 06:06:42 PM
I think the crypto market will continue this way as long as there are no regulations that truly control it throughout the world. Maybe it should be the price of coins now. If 2017 is just a pump, some even try to review the news. We can't also assume that with high prices the market will become stable.
If anyone assumes that with high prices the market will stabilize, then that is very wrong, because in 2017 all coins have been at the highest price, but the market does not look stable, and that is proven in 2018, where all coins have decreased in price which is so severe, that many of the investors suffer losses.

its always been that way since the beginning of BTC, the first time i experienced it was when btc spikes up to $1200 back 2014  and started crashing again to $250.  that's a huge backward leap but this wasn't the first.  it also hop high last 2017. its amazing how it always happen so you can expect that it will happen once again. its just a matter of time that. it could happen next year or maybe even in the next 3 more years who knows.
4347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would anyone be interested in this ( Sports betting ) on: November 05, 2019, 05:45:49 PM

you don't worry trust for this kind of betting site when you already knew how it works. i have no problem with directbet years ago. i have no idea why they shutdown though but i guess what BigBoy89 said about the tx fees is going to add up. i kept using directbet without worrying about it so are they the one who shoulder it?  if you are to create one, i guess OP should just calculate to charge the tx fees to bettors.

4348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Stellar (XLM) do it again ? on: November 05, 2019, 04:34:10 PM

decentralization doesn't seen to help stellar getting more than what its price should be, speculations don't even put them to at least $3 while XRP goes that high being centralized. i'm not sure if its a good to have burned 50B XLM coins at once. did the community knew the plans prior to the announcement that they did? if XRP breaks the ATH once again even after all these burning and XLM can't reach up to $2, development should have been the issue not about burning. adoption is always the key.
4349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Important Is It To Create An Announcement Thread For New Startup? on: November 05, 2019, 03:18:41 PM

IT DOES MATTER.

it is important so that there will be record in the forum as to when your project were first introduced to the public and open for questions. don't follow the scam projects who only posted bounty threads, while they can erase all the details they are saying in telegram channels. Reddit will actually do but its best to do it here so people can quote what had been said here.
4350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What makes you trust bitcoin related services? on: November 05, 2019, 09:35:10 AM
I don't entirely trust them (Bitcoin exchanges or any Bitcoin related services) it's just that they are convenient to use and also a licensed company. Let's take the third party wallet coins.ph for example. Coins.ph is a wallet that holds your Bitcoin for you, so why would you let them hold your Bitcoin? Because of their services. Coins.ph has a lot of services like paying bills, buying game credits, and a loading station. You could make a business out of this services as Coins.ph gives you rebate for every purchase.

that wallet though may not really be trust because they don't provide us the privatekeys, i'm a filipino too who has no other option. but i'm definitely limiting the amount sent there. withdrawals are even limited to how much KYC documents have been sent to them. right now i'm still below 400k and i think that is enough of the information for BIR to come knocking my doors when the government starts monitoring us.

there are 3rd party you can trust and there are the ones you have to avoid specially the ones asking KYC documents.
4351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Moving on to Other Things on: November 05, 2019, 07:20:58 AM
I think it will be a government because

if not, they would have stopped Bitcoin.

Do you think Satoshi will introduce us to some new concept?

There is no need. It's not about the concept but the ownership. Bitcoin is in good hands.

i really believe satoshi will never be back anymore.

satoshi may have introduced or even pitched bitcoin and bockchain particularly to someone maybe to a person who are on top of the corporate banking person, this person stop this development because he already sees a threat to the world of banking and then forbid satoshi to go online. somehow satoshi finds a way to upload it and give it a way to the world. satoshi only said he is moving onto other things now but he is probably murdered already.   Lips sealed

4352  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Blockchain and Social Media on: November 04, 2019, 07:40:36 PM
many users write steemit, that makes sense because it's very popular, but there are similar alternatives you can try: Sapien (SPN)
for status / meme purposes, there is a social media based platform that can be tried: Sphere (SAT) & Futurepia (PIA)
they have a coin reward system, and already in coinmarketcap, their platform still has active users until now.

he must have been aware of all the projects similar to steemit. so if think he can do it better than the teams who had previously come up with something then there is no reason to continue what he is doing. he just have to make sure its better of people will just be disappointed. and we have enough disappointments already after several projects gone bad and coins being dead. so it better be good.

4353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether Backing Problem on: November 04, 2019, 07:23:44 PM

Isn't USDT on ETH and we can send them out to an etherwallet?

although i always have doubts to bitfinex after the issues raise against them because of tether, i kept using it for many of us are still using it. there isn't any option to retain the value of your BTC unless you move it to a stablecoin either USDT or TUSD or any other which will have similar issue. it would be good to have it converted to paypal funds but for the unbank or without bank accounts anymore, its only the stablecoin that is the option.
4354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I talk about market problems? on: November 04, 2019, 06:45:48 PM
I just want to know, about market issues.
1. Reasons that make you survive or still believe in this market?
Yes. Indeed, the only coin to function is of course there must be markets, or exchanges. So how do we not trust markets? If we do not believe, then the coins or tokens that we have so far will not work.

2. Is this what is called a market cycle, I mean back to the time before bitcoin reached the highest price in 2017? or maybe like 2014, 2015 or 2016? because I'm not there yet.
Before Bitcoin was 2008, because Bitcoin was born in 2009. But the price of Bitcoin is slowly increasing. Probably the first history to be printed in 2017 at the highest price. So that most people remember more in 2017.

3. Why has the recent rise in bitcoin prices not affected the market situation for the better or had an impact on the rise in altcoin prices?
Actually the price of Altcoin doesn't increase, or the increase is small. For example XLM coins, if the price of XLM coins at the time of Bitcoin price is $ 8.014, the price of XLM is 0.00000772 BTC = $ 0.061853. If the price of Bitcoin increases by $ 10,000 and the price of XLM 0.00000772 BTC, the price of XLM is not $ 0.061853, but has already increased to $ 0.0772. That is, the price of XLM also increased, although the exchange in BTC remained.

4. In your opinion how to overcome the market situation so that it can be stable again?
There is no way the market will be stable, because this is the crypto market which is identical to fluctuations. And this has become the nature of Crypto. We are not exchanging at the coffee market.

market i think had been stable since it hit the bottom that we know of $3k i guess made the price a lot better. its not coming down that low again unless something worse than the long crypto winter we just experienced. that made it stable.  if there a reason to believe in this market is bitcoin for being decentralized and the price that it will always go up again for another cycle.

4355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should Ethereum Add the "Frozen Wallet" Feature for Certain Adresss? on: November 04, 2019, 05:52:32 PM

there would be a reason for investors not to trust the team when they have that feature. i for once would consider my cryptos be lost if i lose the access or hacked by someone. you can't really trust a developer who would add such feature since they can just accuse anyone and lock the wallet. hell they are even postponing to add the tokens to the exchange listing just to hold bounty hunters from dumping and this means they aren't up to pay them for the marketing services they got from the bounty hunters - consider them scam.
4356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What makes you trust bitcoin related services? on: November 04, 2019, 05:32:46 PM
its the hope to win that i guess made me deposit my btc to a gambling site. sportbetting is just one trusted gambling site which also made me deposit, since i see them sponsored a team which their logo is on the shirts of the players i guess they are not going to scam people after building such reputation. i'm not the only one who did play there so sending btc is pretty much safe.
4357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins to go crazy again once Bitcoin reaches 20k? on: November 04, 2019, 03:43:14 PM
It is possible, but BTC reaching 20k again is very far from now.
Right now it has to recover from the severe downfall it has faced lately once that happens, than maybe we are looking at something decent.

it could actually happen faster than you realize, i myself was amazed at how prices had grew today. 12 hours ago prices was about to drop to $8k but go up to $9300 right now. $20k could be reach without you realizing that we are there. this is why its ideal to invest earlier or simply keep trading your BTC to grow it. altcoins could go crazy as OP said but even when BTC don't reach its ATH, its still going crazy.

4358  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Doing Research on Projects before joining Their Bounty Campaign on: November 03, 2019, 07:26:37 PM

advice like these for bounty hunters had always been said over and over here but when there is nothing left for bounty hunters but to trust these teams. bounty campaigns are not moderated by the forum staff and this is why most scam campaigns are thriving because its a free space for them. if non of the scambusters see them to suspicious, no plagiarism, no fake members spotted and all they might just get some funds successfully.
4359  Economy / Speculation / Re: One more dump before halving? on: November 03, 2019, 04:29:09 PM
we don't know what could happen, the big dump in few hours and price can bounce back right after an hour which could be enough for the whales to at least buy a hundred to a thousand of BTCs for their stash before the real pump cause by halving. if you have funds to wait for that to happen you can wait for it. for those who has nothing its just fine, they just miss the biggest opportunity.
4360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will DEX's ever get the liquidity and volume of Centralized Exchanges today? on: November 03, 2019, 03:49:56 PM
Dex exchange makes it easy for everyone to make token and trade transactions without requiring KYC.
Of the several DEX exchanges https://www.dapp.com/search/Exchange there are many options we can choose, trading volumes such as IDEX exchanges are good, but now it requires KYC to trade on those exchanges, I will wait for the exchange A new DEX which has good trading volume like BinanceDex in 2020.

just when you thought they will one day have a big volume, they are already asking documents from us. this is the exactly the opposite of what we expect from DEX. no other option for crypto users CEX and DEX are asking mandatory KYC, one good thing about DEX though is security over the CEX.  that's the only advantage why you will still consider DEx.
