4341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel, Looking at the Bullrun market? on: February 19, 2021, 02:04:45 PM
Not seems too happy, honestly. WHY? I don't have any BTC left, I sold them when it reaches $40k, but I was so thankful then as I was gaining a lot, more than triple from my capital. But that's it, we can't be all in long-term holding, I only take the opportunity at that time and it wasn't regret for me. In fact, I can't imagine it goes like that, and I was blessed enough.

I was thinking the dumps next to happen after the new ATH, but it was the surge continue and that EM, give a hype to make the bullish season continue. But for now, I was only looking for the market to have any chance to get in and start over again.
4342  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it really a benefit that nobody controls the price? on: February 19, 2021, 01:20:00 PM
The price is heavily influenced by hype and FUD and I can't afford to lose half my wealth from a random crash. And what would it do to the global economy if everyone blindly jumped in without some sort of protection from a massive loss of wealth?

Let these blind people jump into crypto and the reason why because they saw good things despite the risk and the volatility. I don't know what you are seeing because many people are now enjoying it and that you're not.

Anyway, I won't argue with you nor to say that Bitcoin is really a safe haven but there is only one thing I could say to you. Most Risk takers win and since you're not, then this is not the right place for you. We look at Bitcoin as more beneficial, can't be obvious I know as we need to face the risk but in the end, and once we surpass these challenge, everything will be paid off.
4343  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 19, 2021, 10:37:18 AM
My pick for tonight's game

Game : Lakers vs Nets.

This is the time where Nets can prove that they are a legit team and they can beat the defending champion.
IMO, Nets with Durant vs Lakers without Davis, I think Nets have the edge here.

so I'm going with the flow, Nets +3 is my pick.

Nice one again @stadus. Bouncing back from yesterday's loss,.

Nets gameplay was effective, almost all the players made their shares and really play great, Even without KD it's been balance enough
facing AD-less Lakers. Losing Davis really have a big impact to the defending champ as he's really bringing big impact when he's presence
is inside the court. Congrats to all who did manage to tail this pick.

With Davis there's always a big threat inside that we did not see in this game. Lebron was so tired carrying his team but it's not enough because as he works harder to make points, Nets just easily splash a 3 points and they are again ahead, the ball movement of Nets is just awesome, they get other rule players involved.
4344  Other / Off-topic / Re: Deontay Wilder: He makes another WILD conspiracy theory about his loss to Fury on: February 19, 2021, 10:02:31 AM
I have never been the biggest fan of wilder with his extremely cocky bronze bomber attitude where he said he still wants to kill someone in the ring.
On the other hand i always respected him that he never doged a fight versus dangerous opponents like anthony joshua did a few times.

His claim that he lost because his costume was entrance costume was too heavy was already wild but this theory now is even Wilder. Pun intended  Wink

I was because he was so powerful with almost 100% KO win rate, that was before he fought Fury but he is not a real winner because he can't accept a defeat, if he really is a champion, he would accept it and just rise again, look at Manny Pacquiao, he lose to Marquez but did not give up, he never makes excuses, work himself to be back again and start winning again, I guess he needs to have that kind of attitude.
4345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 19, 2021, 09:49:24 AM
What do you guys think, Retire or play on? Magnolia expects Pingris decision by next month

For me, I think Pingris should retire, he already created a good name in the PBA, time to rest now and give the young guns and opportunity to make theirs. Even if he will play, he will still be injury prone, and he is not getting any younger, so I'm saying he should retire.
4346  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't stay on with a wrong trade on: February 19, 2021, 04:43:15 AM
If the coin price movement does not match what we predict, it is better not to continue trading, we must exit immediately. In order not to deplete
our capital, therefore every time I trade I rely on stop-losses to save the capital that I have. Actually what causes us to often lose in trading,
because it involves too much emotion. If we want to be successful in trading, we must be able to control our emotions.
No, it doesn't work like that. As a trader, you must have to be patient always, if the price dump, we have to wait to rise back and sell. That is why we should have to analyze first the trend on a particular coin before buying and must be preferred buying during the downside coz is surely pump in the next days.

Well, that stop-loss strategy is great and helpful but not a thing we should have to do always. If we can wait for the market to recover, better not to use that.
4347  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how do they know? on: February 18, 2021, 02:38:23 PM
You should take it with a grain of salt. Most of these writers do this because of money, some of them rewrite it from other sites, and so on. In a bull or bear market nearly everyone can make a good guess since the trend is fairly strong. See what happens when we're in sideway or there's a lot of uncertainty, most of them would write one thing today and another tomorrow.

They are much speculative and they don't have an ending alibi as well if they got wrong.

Doing speculation, market predictions, it is only an imagination, and of course, it can't be reliable. That word uncertainty remains all the time. We can't make it right and we are always wrong especially when doing TA.

And those NO-HOW individuals will be enlightened, but then, they don't know that they are just fooled.
4348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do ordinary people feel afraid of Bitcoin? on: February 18, 2021, 01:56:34 PM
Ordinary people or does who are angry they do not purchase Bitcoin when the price was damn low.

I have seen a lot of people procrastinate about buying Bitcoin and when it is all over the news about it price increase, this same people start giving a hundred and one reason why it fail so badly.   Grin Grin

They mostly think about scams and having doubts inside. Some take the risk as they opened up their mind but many were still knowing nothing about this and keep ignoring. We can't blame them either for not improving their lives as they just ignore this great opportunity.

If they only had welcoming crypto before when the price is cheap, they can surely see the difference happening to them. But somehow they keep themselves blind, it sounds sorry for them. I know they can afford to do it but they are blocked by their negative thinking cursing themselves not to invest any more in crypto.
4349  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino.me opens in Germany. Any qualified players tried it yet? on: February 18, 2021, 11:55:04 AM
That's a huge list, I saw my country here so I guess I cannot play in the site and I cannot give my review in other words.

By the way OP, will the gambling site ban players when using VPN or not? I just want to know because there are gamblers who uses VPN to bypass restriction, so it would help if they'll know in advance the answer.
4350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After Tesla, others began to pay attention to Bitcoin. Is this the future trend on: February 18, 2021, 06:10:45 AM
This is how we go into market innovation from traditional (use of paper money) to Digitalization. We can't hide the fact that people are wanting to have an easy life, by having this new technology, cashless payments satisfied the needs of the majority.

However, we can't say also say that traditional way of payment, even businesses will vanish because of this. But, for them to improve and go along the competition, they should have to adopt and this might happen that it can be totally changed soon. But, for a better one.
4351  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I sell or hold on my bitcoin? on: February 17, 2021, 03:11:09 PM
snipped~

True. It is not right time to sell BTC unless you need cash badly and there is nothing else to sell out. Technical charts are Bullish and if it breaks out from here then, according to Fibonacci Table next likely level is 50 to 51K and even it can hit 54 before we see any correction.

I am not worried about that correction though. For sure a lot of investors are waiting for that to happen so that they would be able to buy or reinvest. You never know when will the price dumps like that and since we are all talking about $100K now, for sure, they are all waiting for that window, for that chance to reinvest.

I think more and more companies/corporations would invest and follow Tesla so it is the best time to hold your bitcoin.
Most, I mean, those who sell their Bitcoin earlier will do asking for the Bullrun to stop and reinvest again. It is kinda ridiculous but that is the reality now.

It is not guaranteed for the market to reach $100k but it close to the possibility that it has a huge correction someday. Those people wanting to get back in crypto for a cheaper price will have to keep an eye on the market coz that's still unpredictable. But, they should have to wait quite long as the current momentum still never changes.
4352  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: "BTC giveaway" scamming sites get mind boggling BTC inflows... on: February 17, 2021, 01:02:52 PM
Domains like the ones listed above should be blacklisted by all the social media platforms.
Unfortunately Twitter,Facebook and Youtube aren't reacting fast enough to prevent those scams and to save the money of all the innocent victims.

Scammers can do freely using social media as the medium to spread fake and enticing offers. A stupid person could really think about what they are doing until such time they got scammed. Soon the site will be blacklisted and longer to access when someone does the report.

This is a 100% scam trick. Can someone send those numbers of BTC as a giveaway? It is no. Innocent people would likely become their target which is very unfortunate (that was before) but I was believing now that they are aware of this scheme.
4353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: February 17, 2021, 08:41:37 AM
The first problem is the transaction fee of course right now if you are going to withdraw Bitcoin there is a very expensive transaction fee you needed to pay first in order to withdraw in regards with the price 1 Bitcoin is still 1 Bitcoin. 0.001 fixed amount I placed is still 0.001 amount I placed.

If you'll transact from your wallet to a gambling site, transaction fee could sometimes be cheaper but when you transact from gambling sites, that's where you will certainly fee the high transaction fee... some site charge 0.0005 per withdrawal and that is $25 usd at the current price, not all gamblers can pay for that, I mean majority of us will see it as a high fee.
4354  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 17, 2021, 08:24:03 AM
Watching Pelicans vs Grizzlies.
Both are hungry for a win. But I think the Pelicans are starving to end the losing streak. 4th if they lose again in this game.

After Pelicans lost 3 games in a row, they had a wonderful performance against Grizzlies and got a very nice win, 144-113. Zion had a great performance that he had 31 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists. J. Morant was the Grizzlies' best and he had 28 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists.

These are the MVP's of their own team. Ja Morant won the ROY where for me it's suppose to be Zion if he was not injured last season that give him limited number of games only. This a great battle for individual players but NO Pelicans was just too much in this game.
4355  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc Halving Effect + Elon Musk Effect + Institutional Investors' Effect. on: February 16, 2021, 11:51:18 PM
It looks like that we can’t see Bitcoin anymore to drop below $40k ($30k worst case scenario) anytime soon. The reason why it’s almost impossible for Bitcoin to drop way harder is because of the institutional investors continuous enthusiasm in getting all-in to cryptocurrencies. With these effects that you have mentioned, I had no doubts that Bitcoin might surge to $100k this year.
They are not yet done and we are surely be expecting more market spikes to show up. I can't be negative but could be done soon and these institutional investors will stop accumulating Bitcoin pushing the market to drop again but I was thinking of a huge drop neither.

And in regards to seeing $100k, that seems too high, yet it was not impossible if this current momentum will continue. But, it gonna be a long wait for us, and not even sure it will reach within this year.
4356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are people still buying XRP? on: February 16, 2021, 11:14:40 PM
because many still have demand and use.people will stop using it when it's not needed no one wants to use it already doesn't have what it needs then xrp will slowly be forgotten. But reality says otherwise it's just a matter of politics when SEC announced banning of XRP yesterday.
As long as people can see XRP in the market, they will never stop making a trade. I use XRP sometimes, converted my BTC to XRP, I save the cost since BTC's transaction fees are so high sometimes and this XRP is saving a lot.

The issues that XRP is facing now have no final results, they not found guilty yet which is why XRP remains active and tradable. Will it have to expect that XRP will be out from the crypto market? If I am the owner, I was supposed to let it happen. XRP will never have its end, they can surpass these struggles and difficulties. That they only need to prove that they are no a shit project just like the others.
4357  Economy / Economics / Re: Richest people getting ready for economic crash on: February 16, 2021, 02:09:10 PM
Richest people getting ready for economic crash.

As many instutions and banks going in crypto so they selling crypto to people to average people before crash to buy assets cheap.

Becouse when alot middle class and poor people start buying it means crash is near.
If there’s a crisis, many businesses will suffer and they really have to be ready for that. As we can see, the aviation and tourism industry are suffering big time right now and their Debt balloon too, so if they didn’t prepared for this then its better for them to exit the market. Cryptocurrency can’t guarantee profit for them, crisis is not a joke.
We are already in a crisis, right? Many establishments are crashing down at this moment but I don't think that crypto is the solution for this. I know that these owners wouldn't like to invest in crypto, they are most preferred to wait for the economy to recover and start over again.

If we saw some companies are adopting crypto now, it does not mean that they are preparing for the economic crash but they are doing this because they saw the potential in crypto investment. They saw that this could be in demand for the coming days, and so they are anticipating it now before it has gone too late.
4358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can play tricks on your mind on: February 16, 2021, 11:53:55 AM
That "what if" question makes our minds doubtful. Some people use to do that when making decisions but sometimes it brought us to the wrong one, yeah, I did some, and might everyone in here.

Having in this market no one is right or wrong. Some say you are wrong because you sell your Bitcoin at $20k while it takes a huge pump after it. But "what if" the market dumps after he sold his Bitcoin, they are absolutely right with his decision.

You are taking back your capital, that is your decision. As did it before and it is fine after all. There is still some funds left and we can still make money from it while securing our capital.
4359  Economy / Speculation / Re: When BTC Bull run will end? on: February 15, 2021, 11:41:46 PM
The fun of buying bitcoin really never stops, it is not very clear where the increasing part of Bitcoin revert to going down, I think that people asking such questions really want to buy the low price of Bitcoin that is why they keep asking the floor zone,

But no one knows, and it is not clear whether a correction may happen I would really love to know as well the future when Bitcoin will hit the low again, because I really want to buy as well but the increase of price is still going but it slowed down a bit, but I am seeing the price may still go to $50,000 USD and beyond.
Many are started to wait at the bottom which I also think that its hard to tell since Bitcoin keeps aiming to go beyond the walls. If Bitcoin failed to break $50k after so many attempts, then the downtrend might started, though I’m not sure with this one but I’m also ready for the next bottom any time from now.
Even we get back to $30k or $20k, it wasn't the bottom yet. I still consider this is in bullish season. $50,000 is near to touch but it is too hard to reach. Many people are buying, rich people are investing Bitcoin but we can't deny also that many investors are selling their Bitcoin. They are pulling the market down.

But even we can't break the $50,000 resistance, the market still healthy. It seems impossible to see the market goes down to the dip once again for easy. We're not sure of course, but these institutional investors stopping this. Thanks to them.
4360  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what do i need to be a successful trader ? on: February 15, 2021, 11:05:42 PM
I have always learned that patience is the key to success and it pays off when you can hold longer. A friend of mine told me few days ago that if I would have kept eth till now that I bought for $1 a coin in 2015 and had 100 coins, it may have given me 1000x in profits but I sold it for $10 per coin in 2016, so no 1000x for me but just $1000. Trading costs time, very long time because these assets were worth nothing because no recognition was there, and now cryptocurrencies are seen everywhere.
I can't really imagine holding for more than 10 years. You are selling it at $10 for each coin, that was big enough profit you'll take. I'm not sure if your friend is in crypto and he knows how volatile we are, coz if that he only knows that, he might be selling first than you Grin.

Anyway, there is no way to make sell at a perfect time. The reality is that no one could hold that long especially when you are checking the market everyday. Every uprising trend could somewhat be a temptation, it might possible we gonna sell our coins for we are worried about what if it drops?
