Great performance from the New York Knicks especially Julius Randle.
44 points and 1 more point to tie his career high.
Noel with his last minute dunks and not afraid to defend even with 5 fouls.
Hawks should've attacked the rim more to take him out.

3rd winning streak, obtaining DRose was a good move by the Knicks management.
They have a leader now.

I can’t say I understand what’s going on with Detroit and Blake Griffin. They’ve benched him while they discuss his future role with the team. It sounds like they’re going to trade him, but it’s a strange approach. Maybe they feel like they’re going to have problems trading him or something?

Yeah, when I read the story this morning, he is gonna sit without getting a chance to play and waiting to be bought to be traded to another team. I wonder who will gonna take him after his slow performance this season and the guy used to be a great dunker but now he rarely jumps. I think they want to trade him out without him getting anymore injury, just playing safe in the Detroit Piston part.

He one of the most exciting players in the league before maybe it's about the injuries he has to acquire over the years, but I think going to a team who will help him go back to his old self will do, will the lakers make interest in him, if he is offered by LA with a minimum the best thing for him is to accept it, but for sure other teams will pursue him, hoping that he will perform on the same level like before, fun to watch.

Team chemistry is good. I'm surprised honestly, I didn't expect them to make a big run. I should follow them closer.

I was surprised here too. I never thought Utah Jazz will share the ranking currently on the top of standing. The team chemistry is awesome, seeing the big improvement from Donovan Mitchell and Jordan Clarkson which are consistent in numbers.

Maybe Gobert got his adrenalin pump since Shaq take him as a subject on his performance over salary. Cheesy

Yes, the chemistry of Utah Jazz is bar none. And then Clarkson coming of the bench gives them a lot of deep as he can easily score 10,15,20 or more points a game. Rudy Gobert also up his perimeter defense and then sliding for easy dunks against a league with less true Center are playing.

However, Rudy will be tested against Joel in this game, it's either Rudy shine on defense or Joel playing outside and then shooting that will negate Rudy's defense.
No Joel for 76'ers but Ben Simmons came off with a career high, and almost triple double at 42 points, 12 assts, and 9 boards. But it was offset when Jordan Clarkson with a monster game of 40 points coming off of the bench. Blake has been plague with knee injuries and sad to see his career going down like this. This is worst for me, that the Clippers situation back then.

Nets 136 vs 125 Kings - NBA February 15
To be honest, it was an incredible game thanks to Kyrie Irving's 40 points. 9/11 three point shots. He scored a season-high 40 point, but not all were good news for the Nets team because they had as injured Kevin Durant watching the game from the bench. By the other hand, James Harden had 29 points, 14 assists and 13 rebounds, so it was not only for the good Kyrie's performance. If they keep this high basketball level (even without their best player, Kevin Durant), they are one of my 5 bets for winning the NBA ring this season.

That will be totally exciting with those real man dunks that he always gave in the early season of his career that will be missed for sure, one of the explosive dunkers.  Though that's still doubtful of him, I think it's still possible if he goes a thorough rehabilitation, look what's Paul George capable of now he is surely near at the past level he was before and I think what he experience was way more difficult than Blake, just my two cents.

Great game by the Nets, they are now winning consistently, and they are very close to my expectation as they should be as a super team. They beat the Clippers already when they met, I think the next target will be the Lakers, I'd really love to see that but Lakers might be undermanned as Davis are injured.

Knicks starting to look solid.  Randle has played great all year, a shame mitchell Robinson has to sit for 4-6 weeks.  The kid was finally learning how to play great defense without fouling.  Finally enjoying watching them play ball.  Obi still looks little lost out there but he will get it in time.

A lot of expectation from him since he was the number 1 NBA draft pick of batch 2009. (Steph Curry #7 )
But I doubt he will still perform like the way he was before.
His playing at a level of Vince Carter at the brink of retiring.
More on outside shooting and not much on dunks or forcing the paint anymore. Worse, he doesn't have that huge percentage like Carter does.

While this guy is making a lot of changes with his playing style and fans are loving it.

I’m glad Anthony Davis’ injury doesn’t appear to be overly serious. I think LeBron can carry the Lakers by himself for a few weeks while AD recovers. As long as that team is healthy by the playoffs they should be fine. I don’t like that people’s first reaction was that the Nets will win the title...

Blake Griffin issue could be solved very easily but would hurt Blake a lot. He could be offered a buy out that would be very cheap, he won't be paid his whole salary but maybe just a small portion of it to play for another team, if he accepts that he could accept a veteran minimum from any team he wants, even a team that could win a ring this year, and that could make him a lot more valuable for the future as well.

He got a huge contract in Clippers and honestly he changed into a totally different player, it is great that he became a much better shooter but if you are a very athletic amazing dunker with good offensive and rebounding skills and then suddenly turn into a "decent" shooter instead, obviously you are not going to worth your contract anymore.

Let's hope that he gets what he wants because I do not see any team paying 30+ million dollars a year for him.

This is LA's schedule up to the end of the month:

vs Timberwolves
vs Nets
vs Heat
vs Wizards
vs Jazz

So probably Lebron can carry half of those games, but against Nets and Jazz he might need more help as those are two powerful teams right now, specially Jazz which is very deep specially Clarkson's as 6th MOTY candidate.

Lakers just need to win the games they should and compete in the other ones.  They are no doubt making the playoffs and if anyone has forgotten the Lakers are the reining Champs, and bron has never been booted from a first round.  I wouldnt be surprised if the second team plays a lot in those nets and jazz games.  Not giving in but no need to tire out lebron when it really won't move the playoff needle much.

I'll bet against the Lakers when they'll face the Nets, Heat, and especially on the Jazz.
I guess this is the best time for a team to beat the Lakers as Davis is not playing, so it will only be Lebron against these good teams.

Can't wait for the Nets vs Lakers.

We will see him soon as according to the news Lakers’ Anthony Davis gets MRI; report indicates he could miss weeks.

At least weeks only, not the entire season, I know he will be okay soon and he can help the Lakers to win more games again.
Per MRI, there was no rupture or any serious injury, so Lakers fans, we should not worry on the Lakers back to back championship campaign as they are still here.

I'm happy the injury is not that serious but they have to be careful now, if they rush Anthony to the floor this time it will cost them big, the best is to rest Anthony since the backup Center is doing a great job, and will give AD more time to rest, still a lot of games through the regular season, it will be wise for the lakers to prepare him for the playoffs, not regular-season games.

Yeah, I think he will be in controlled minutes per game to give him more rest.
That's better than putting players in load management.  Grin

Watching Pelicans vs Grizzlies.
Both are hungry for a win. But I think the Pelicans are starving to end the losing streak. 4th if they lose again in this game.

Anybody see that Caruso chase down block after LeBron James turned the ball over? It’s those sort of highlights that make me love the guy. He’s constantly showing his incredible athleticism in unexpected ways. They’re comparing it to the LeBron block on Iggy in the Finals.  Cheesy

Coach and players needs to adjust with AD, if they wanted him to be more healthier incoming next round
they need to give him enough rest even he already playing back after this injury to prevent more damages,
AD really a big factor of Lakers rally but this time he might be needed good time management from the rotation.

Pelicans do manage to win this one with a huge margin, Williamson leads this one with 31 points. They prevent
the 4th losing streak loses.

Yeah, Lebron James have made a lot of chase down block in the past, but I wouldn't say it's comparable to him blocking Iggy in the finals. Half bald, half amazing, probably he can make a point to be defensive candidate of the year though?
