4341  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When the US stock market goes down Bitcoin goes down on: July 12, 2020, 11:16:02 PM
The US stock market isn't that big influence on the crypto market but of course, it somehow will affect the movement as well. We can see that it is a coincidence, not really for sure because what happens to the local stock market also drag the prices when it down. Things to see that the global market situation will be a huge factor that could affect the crypto market and many times it happens just like the crisis we have now.

We can bring Bitcoin prices to the high level if the economic situation will stay like this.

I hope this could not create another drama but much better to be aware and prepared if ever this will happen.
4342  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin soon will become a boring investment? on: July 12, 2020, 01:07:50 PM
If that person think about it (boring investment), yeah, his thinking differently from us. Why a lot of people jump into Bitcoin investment? It is probably because they saw its market potential, not a boring investment. We already saw how Bitcoin rallying in the market for $0 to $9k, it something to tell us how this form of investment will work in the future. Yes, we are not sure about it because of its volatility but not a thing to worried that it becomes out from the market and turns back to nothing.

Anyway, if you are thinking Bitcoin is a boring investment, then better to forget that you've been in crypto at once.
4343  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we rely on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency? on: July 12, 2020, 12:26:27 PM
I think it depends how you're earning in crypto. It can sustain your daily needs if you're earning good amount using your skills or you have a talent where you excel and make money through it.
Having crypto for a jobless people will actually give them away to survive but couldn't think that it will give a sustainable way to fill all our needs, to buy stuff and other necessities but have to look for another way.

We can't just rely upon Bitcoin, not only because of its volatility and we aren't sure of what will happen in the following days but also because our income in crypto isn't stable. In fact, joining campaign and services won't mean that it last longer sometimes is just a month or even a week. Things that we can't think of how this could become a reliable source of income. It all just temporary and it much better to have another source of income.
4344  Economy / Economics / Re: Rise in US unemployment. Thoughts? on: July 11, 2020, 11:42:09 PM
Many business establishments are shutting down not only in the US but almost all countries that have been badly hit by the virus, so where these people go? It probably they'll be added into the jobless people as don't have a job opening at this time.

Have to look at this one in Asia

It very unfortunate how this COVID-19 affects us and almost everyone had suffered especially for the poor people.

Coronavirus: Four out of five people's jobs hit by the pandemic.

4345  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Useful tips I've learned so far, might come in handy on: July 11, 2020, 02:42:11 PM
These are very useful tips, in general. All of them are connected to each other from 1-6, but there is something special to number 7 which is somewhat I felt during the last 2017 Bullrun. Too much optimism and confidence that the market will continue to rise that even though I already have doubled my profit still I didn't sell my holding but rather to hold it. Something that I miss about and absolutely a regrettable moment. I lost that opportunity and that for sure it won't come back. Felt that I was greedy at that time and that is also the reason why many crypto holders are often to lose.

Now that we are in uncertain, it could be better to take every chance we have even though it was just small. We should also have to be contented enough in small things not only for the big one.
4346  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why hasn’t Bitcoin’s price skyrocketed? on: July 11, 2020, 02:14:57 PM
So much saying why it won't? Why the price remains at $9k? Why does the market turn like this? It is never hard to accept reality, and we already know the situation things that we can't deny how it affects the market. Besides, not only the crypto market suffered for this but also in the real stock market.

We can never fix this until the crisis declines. We have to wait for a few more days to see it back to move high. There is no magic in the market, either we like it or not, the market remains like this for quite sometimes. So better not to ask "why Bitcoin's price hasn't skyrocketed yet? Because we can hold that thing to happen as it also depends on the situation.
4347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens??? on: July 10, 2020, 11:24:55 PM
Nothing to say that crypto investment is safe but it all says is a risky and much more if we are investing new coins. Why? Well, that is pretty obvious how these new coins run, actually, most of them are shit and almost dying. Things that we can't ignore that investing new coins will give us nothing in the end but just a lose one. I don't say they are all shit and no market value but that is hard to find a promising coin out from hundreds of shitcoins, you'll get lucky if you buy new coin/s that it soars high.

This what I say, if you have money to invest crypto and really wanting assurance, better to choose the top-listed coins in the market. New coins are cheap but don't be fooled on their price coz you can expect that their value will rise but instead it sinks.
4348  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Keeping it's limitaion Between 9--10K on: July 10, 2020, 10:50:02 PM
I don't know that is in the limitation but have to say that we are not yet getting far from that range for almost 3 months. It looks like we are stable now since the virus affects the global economy and given the insight that the price will stick at this price until the end of this quarter. But it never gives some kind of disappointment as $9k-$10k price range is still good. I'm not sure how the Christmas season brought a change in the market flows but probably we can see some huge pumps on it as the demand will move. Things that are mostly happening during that time.
4349  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware of fake YouTube giveaways on: July 10, 2020, 03:32:45 PM
They look legit which makes people been trap into their trick and foolishness, and that was stupid also for those people who let this thing happen to them.

I know people are aware of this kind of activities but unfortunately, they become blinded when someone offers you big returns. Scammers are smart enough to think like this, they'll keep spreading and continue their bad constitute coz they know that many people are greedy and that gave them the opportunity to take advantage and drive on it. That was difficult as realizations come late and it is all done.
4350  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It's ok if your profits are less on: July 10, 2020, 03:11:51 PM
Greediness won't allow many take profit they want to take, many have lost their profits from trade and investment because of "let me see the next move which can give me 100% profit", this has lead many astray. Take your small profits and wait for the next move than going empty handed at last. Some of my trade profits are not higher than 5%, because am not greedy like others, though, if I discover the signal is solid for positive move then I will wait but with caution.
Like saying 3-5% profit, I think that is not greediness instead, it is just a goal and I know that everyone has its own goal as well just like you do. Nothing it harms to look for high or even higher at 5% but one thing to consider also the market situation. Do we expect that holding for 10 years our portfolio will be double? Not exactly and truly we can't assure of that. That is why holding for many years isn't really matter but to listen and observe how the market moves. Isn't possible to sell right after we bought any coins if we saw some profit, why not take the chance?

yeah, greediness has no place in crypto. We can assure nothing, only we have less possibility that our holding will be double. Thus, having small gains is very important and not to lose it.
4351  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Institutional Investors Continue to Buy Bitcoin on: July 09, 2020, 01:17:43 PM
I have read about this news and AFAIK they continue to buy even the freshly mined bitcoins. Grayscale is confident in bitcoin and they have a reason why they do that and it's only circling about money and finance.

And it's not only them that are buying bitcoin. Even two years ago when JPMorgan Chase CEO - Jamie Dimon called bitcoin a fraud, later on, it's on the news that he bought the dip. Surely, there are others of them that don't want to get exposure to media and like to do it silently.
Indeed, really optimistic person thinks that Bitcoin will make another high in the future. It is quite to see how these institutional investors are now considering Bitcoin for a valuable asset. It probably THIS IS the reason why they got the interest in crypto.

Most of them are anticipating the market trend, they are business-minded and soo much to know for the future. They are speculation differently but maybe they foresaw the best position for crypto sooner.
4352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: NEW STYLE OF CAMPAIGN on: July 08, 2020, 02:11:06 PM
Every Bounty manager had also freedom to make his own sets of rules. But I don't think 4 hours in a gap is really reasonable for a reason that we are not all been in the forum in 24 hours or to find yourself getting online every 4hours just to make a post. Even though we think that it could help to combat spammers and burst posting but it was too long to have it. I'm not sure if there is a mistake but something like that.

Anyways, that's the call of the manager. I believe the manager isn't pushing everyone to participate in the campaign but just yourself who've brought on there. Everyone has also a freedom to leave or just ignore and find another one. Nothing to urge yourself if you are not comfortable with the said rule.
4353  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we still enjoy the anonymity in gambling in the long run? on: July 07, 2020, 11:29:12 PM
We are going to lose that anonymity feature somehow in the future knowing that most gambling sites are asking for KYC and lead our information left in their site until forever. Some countries are taking action already to regulate the numbers of a growing gambling site online. Authorities would like to see its transparency and this could hold everything and all registrants to undergo KYC as probably it is mandated by the owners. But I'm not worried about this thing to happen in the future, instead, it was a good way to stop or minimize (at least) illegalities online.
4354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lesson plans about Bitcoin achieved on: July 07, 2020, 11:05:30 PM
It is very interesting to see that work and it is not hard for you to make a lesson plan because you have already a background in teaching or something alike. The only you need is approval from your head. Well, I hope this will be granted.

A lot of people who have been eager to know more about Bitcoin and about crypto itself. We have youtube and online resources but feel better to have an interrogation from an expert (and that you called yourself). Just be sure that you are also preferred for this and all the resources to have to make it more clear for the students. It for sure this could help to promote Bitcoin and it gathers more listeners.
4355  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Top 5 Cryptocurrencies to Watch This Week: BTC, NEO, TRX, XTZ, VET. on: July 07, 2020, 10:43:21 PM
I see you are on the good list, they are all promising and worth buying as what I see. They show an impressive market trend amidst the crisis and this will give us a way to thinks how their team and developers retain their market position and keeping all the way to sustain the market losing demand. But for me, I have to focus more on Bitcoin, it doesn't mean that I discredit altcoins but because I was been satisfied with what I get from BTC investment. I know there is a big risk putting an eggs in one basket but I have to take that risk without hesitation coz I know that it won't make me disappointed.
4356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do not participate in non reputed bounty managers campaign on: July 07, 2020, 03:42:55 PM
Running bounties, fake projects is money-making for them. It less likely reputable CM never accepts their offer as this could only ruin their reputation and trust of the community. The two CM that you have mentioned is clear to see that they understand what is the role of being a manager, not only they are looking for money but also they are protecting the whole community for not being ruin by these foolish developers who only think about their own.

I still believe that there are a lot of good CM managers around but it sometimes gets into the moment of committing mistakes. But nothing to judge them and accused of being a scammer as they are also human and they can be also deceived by huge offerings and broken promises.
4357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Victim in need of help! on: July 07, 2020, 03:09:31 PM
Got a call from someone claiming they're from the government telling me there's fraud, drug trafficking, and money laundering investigations under my name using my SIN. Told me there's a warrant for my arrest. I was told i needed to clear out my accounts as proof that they belong to me, then requested i deposit it into this bitcoin ATM machine to "Secure my funds" and then it will be sent back into my bank account once the issue was resolved. I should have known it was complete bullshit, and i knew deep down. But I didn't think, and in the heat of the moment, withdrew only $1k and I deposited the money into the bitcoin ATM.
You have been framed up by these scammers but you can still settle this accusation if you can prove something reliable into that matter. Authorities will take you down if you don't cooperate with them.

Even though you can escape from this trouble but it was unfortunate to tell you that you can't recover anymore your deposit's as it is totally in the good hands who've been put you into (mostly) in jail because of that skillful trick by scammers.

There is something behind that code and that is how you've been fooled. This is a good example that using QR codes in sending isn't advisable than rather to completely copy the address shown when we click show BTC address to know if you are actually sending the right one.
4358  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fake MEW on Google Play on: July 07, 2020, 02:35:03 PM
The MEW app from the Myetherwallet site has an inconvenience and I really don't like it, it doesn't allow me to enter the Private Key, I absolutely don't store json files or seed codes.
How to report a fraudulent app to Google Play to remove it?
I'm not sure how they respond to this but I suggest having a new wallet and save the seeds code this time. Quite that easy to do it rather than to wait for their action and replies from their support team unless if you have stored a lot of altcoins on that wallet. This is certainly a lesson to learn for you and see's how important to have your seeds than anyone else and to have it keeps safe. But nothing too difficult if you have been using fake MEW wallets and surely you can't retrieve your wallet anymore even you have the private keys.

I hope Google Play store will take action for this and eliminate those fake apps.
Maybe I should visit directly to the site rather than use the apps store. It gonna be safe, though.
4359  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who will do the IEO of the crypto exchange market? on: July 06, 2020, 11:53:49 PM
It is unfortunate enough to see that not all IEO has been back-up by reputable exchange, in fact, many of them didn't have anything. But the good thing to see how these projects run and supported by known exchanges have made it to rally high and many investors show big interest. This makes a point why the other project developers will look into that way for them also to succeed. It is somehow bad for them that their projects never deserve such support and just being ignored by losing a chance for their market assurance.

Big and known exchanges are very influential to the market and that it happens to BNB. In this case, it gives also a profit assurance to the investors and that it makes sense why people are now skeptical about new projects without having any support from reputable exchanges.
4360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Always look at the coins MAX supply on: July 06, 2020, 11:26:49 PM
So you are saying that all coins/tokens with small supply will have a huge value cause its easy to insert capital funds on it? Whether its small or big supply as long as the demand is high this is nothing. A coin will surge no matter what its supply. Take a look on xrp, the supply is so huge but it still able to be considered as big marketcap not mentioning the infinitie supply of eth? Its all about the law of demand and supply. Actually you have a point but not all will believe thats this is the only reason for a coin to increase its value.

No, I'm not saying that. I'm just saying it's more likely because the liquidity required for them to perform like that is much smaller. Of course they also need an actual utility to make sense and to be interesting.
Both all of them have a chance to surge and you are right, most coins that have a huge maximum market supply never been seeing it increase their price but just it keeps low. However, isn't only the measurement and basis if that particular project/coin will likely have a better future or the demand will increase but it is all about how this project/coin will show market potentials.

Its all been in a competition, investors will choose project/coin that seemingly shows the potentiality and gives them the interest. If that is never been noticed by them, it is either has a huge and small market supply, there is no way to see it will grow but it remains devalued.
