Shouldn't.

Pic of Ant and cx430:

The 8 pin is slotted, so just use 6 of them.  It should fit in the Ant's 6 pin connector.

Just use the last 2 wires on the right:

Should work, not optimally, but just don't overclock it.

$386.04 for a blade and 30 GH/s mining board?Huh!!!!   Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

Wow, the Rockminer R-box at $69 looks good all the sudden.

Not trolling OP, but this isn't 2013 anymore.

4367  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Why is BITMAIN selling used products ? on: June 10, 2014, 03:51:38 PM
That's the risk involved with ordering something all the way around the globe.

What are you going to do, request RMA it back and wait for a new one?   Tongue

Even a day lost BTC mining in precious.  Time is indeed money with setup costs, maintaining and tweaking, and monitoring the miners to make sure they're stable.

You know those compressed air cannisters used to blow dust off PC's and keyboards?  Use them.   Grin

Only $4,194,003 to go!

Wonder which dumdum is going to spring for the Supernova 120 TH/s miner for a cool $30,000?!!   Shocked

I wouldn't bother with this if he doesn't show for another day or so.

4370  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Buy antminer S2 or not? on: June 10, 2014, 12:59:13 PM
Probably a combination of hardware module kit and firmware upgrade.

They'll announce the officials soon.
4371  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Buy antminer S2 or not? on: June 10, 2014, 12:47:33 PM
FYI, the S1 is discontinued by Bitmain, so you'll have to get it used or second hand.

If you can get a few more S1s, good for you.

The long sighted or wise move would be an S2:

A short good news for the S2 buyer is that we will let the S2 to upgrade to 1.8TH/s or 2TH/s at very low cost which you can only image now in the August or September. It still depends on many factors to let us achieve that and detailed plan needs to be drafted, But we are very confident that we can make it.
4372  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Buy antminer S2 or not? on: June 10, 2014, 05:04:05 AM
Whatever you do, don't listen to Jimmothy.

The Rockminer Rxbox is the miner he's referring to is a minimum quantity of 4, so you'd be required to buy 4 Rxbox's.  Not only the minimum quantity, but it's power usage would equal 3000 Watts total for the 4 units, so you'd need to also buy power supplies(not included with the miners) that can power 4 inefficient miners.

Jimmothy is only endorsing Rockminer, because he's invested in Asicminer in a dividend I'm guessing he didn't get paid yet.

It's a bad buy overall.  Stick to the S2, as you'll be able to upgrade to 2 TH/s soon(by late August/early September) with an inexpensive upgrade kit.
4373  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 6BTC investment into mining, worth it ? on: June 10, 2014, 05:00:32 AM
If you start mining now, it doesn't end at 6 BTC.

You'll end up re-investing more BTC into more miners just to keep up with the difficulty jumps and electrical costs just to maintain or increase your initial daily payouts.

Mining for ROI is probably the hardest thing to do at this point, without significant financial investment, cheap electric and/or hosting facility.
4374  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How to find Mining equipment manufacturers... on: June 09, 2014, 10:03:12 PM

Whatever you do, do NOT follow the links in that website!!   Angry

Anything that lists KNC and Butterfly Labs as confirmed Bitcoin companies is not a reputable source.  KNC is not the same company it was, and anything that endorses BFL is just flat out ignorant.

If it don't list Bitmain, Spondoolies Tech, or Lightning Asic right away then don't bother!
4375  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Considering to start solo mining, thoughts? on: June 09, 2014, 09:56:03 PM
Ahh so that's why Jimmothy waves the pom poms so hard for any AM gen 3 related gear.   Shocked

He has stake with them, didn't know that.

Makes sense for Jim to keep supporting them, because if he doesn't no one else will.   Tongue
4376  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: AntMiner S2 1TH/s Miner Batch 4 break -even on: June 09, 2014, 09:02:55 PM
so its not profitable to buy antminer s2 Huh

It costs 2167 $ right now without discount coupon @ bitmaintech.

You saying that in a few months earnings will drop from 26$ / day to 11$ / day or less Huh So whats the point of buying a 2167$ machine? Grin

So now you're seeing the light, young padawan!   Cool
4377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite positive Bitcoin news story so far this year? on: June 09, 2014, 08:57:32 PM
My favorite positive Bitcoin news story so far this year, is when China decided not to ban Bitcoin for the umpteenth time.   Grin

Basically, anytime China is not in the news threatening any sort of regulation of BTC to banks or individuals is positive for Bitcoin.

Leads to more stable price increases and decreases, not those crazy swings we've been seeing with the Gox, Silk Road, and "China ban Bitcoin" news headlines.

Not sure why you're so averse to S-T.  They're an actually good, legitimate ASIC manufacturing company that ships in this shady, scammy industry!  If anything, they should be praised.

KNC was a great company until they fudged up the neptunes. As far as I know knc had the most successful preorder run to date.

Point is preorders are finished and it seems spondoolies is trying to make it a thing again.

Why would they not offer in stock sp30s as soon as they get them?

I think they know that when september comes the going rate will be much less than what they are charging now.

Side note: no refunds on spondoolies preorders.

Fair enough, I'm also not crazy about the pre-order wait on SP30.

I'm merely judging S-T on their launch and delivery on SP10, which has been close to flawless.

We'll see if they can ramp up manufacturing and ship from stock eventually with the SP30 like they did for the SP10.

*this is a preorder and dates/specs are guaranteed to be BS.

Lol for a company that shipped a ton of SP10s all over the globe.

How many Rxbox's have shipped yet?

Just like spongebobtech, rockminer has shipped their first product "all over teh globe". And they sold in stock not BTO. (Immediate shipping vs 2-4 weeks)

Rxboxes begin shipping on the 25th if everything goes right. And unlike spongebobtech they actually have working/tested hardware.

Spongebobtech, lol good one!

Not sure why you're so averse to S-T.  They're an actually good, legitimate ASIC manufacturing company that ships in this shady, scammy industry!  If anything, they should be praised.

Rockminer are yet to be proven.  Their offerings are underwhelming so far, and this is fact.  Their R boxes 30 GH/s miners are just novelty items and we have yet to see what the Rx Box is all about.

If the Rxbox is decent and performs as advertised, I may pick up one, as I don't wave pom poms for anyone.  Whatever ships and at a decent price at a decent power efficiency, should be what all of us miners should go for.

S-T ships, has shipped, and will start anew with a new batch of SP10s soon.  The SP30 is slated for September, so we'll see how that'll come about.

Since Rxbox is due out end of this month, we'll see if they can live up to snuff.

Is the 120 GH/s at default settings, and can the asic be tweaked for faster speeds without additional cooling applied to it?
