My favorite positive Bitcoin news story so far this year, is when China decided not to ban Bitcoin for the umpteenth time.   Grin

Basically, anytime China is not in the news threatening any sort of regulation of BTC to banks or individuals is positive for Bitcoin.

Leads to more stable price increases and decreases, not those crazy swings we've been seeing with the Gox, Silk Road, and "China ban Bitcoin" news headlines.

What video is that and what have they said? Doesn't seem like they're going to deal with it any time soon from what I've heard.

My one was that a lot of bad/useless whispering about Bitcoin weren't true or didn't happen.

Oh.... now I have to chose between Dish and Expedia. If we look at the market cap, then DISH is definitely bigger. But I suspect that Expedia might be the one which is having higher volumes.  Angry

The key is that both of these companies compete with big time competition.
DISH vs. Direct TV (owned by AT&T)- would be massive if AT&T would adopt BTC as a payment option.
Expedia vs. Priceline- Priceline is the online king of travel arrangements- would be just as massive if they would adopt BTC as a payment option.

Start using these companies! Force the competition to jump in!!

For me, Dish accepting Bitcoins was the best news so far this year. Dish is much bigger when compared to the other companies which accept Bitcoin, such as Overstock, Zynga, and Tigerdirect.

http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/05/29/us-dish-network-bitcoin-idUSKBN0E911T20140529

Me as well but, also bitpay getting more merchants that are accepting bitcoins

Best news: Expedia has started to accept bitcoin for hotel rooms.

This is only the best news because it is the most recent example of a big company starting to accept bitcon.
