4361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: July 02, 2020, 12:02:08 PM

Zion is a good player, and we all know he'd be a future hall of famer (If he keeps healthy), but the media is really hyping him up. There are actually a more deserving rookies and other young talents in that cover like Luka, Trae, or Morant. Or they could just cover Vince Carter as a sign of respect and tribute to him as the last man who played in 4 decades after he retires. It's just sad 2k forgot how amazing Vince was as if they haven't enjoyed his levitation and dunking showcase.
As usual marketing strategy, It's all business.
Nevertheless, sports industry has gradually becoming more of a business than actual sports.

I didnt even expect for Zion to be chosen and id rather prefer to be Luka to be on that spot but well they do have all the decision when it comes to these sort of things.

They are really hyping up much that kid. Well, he's indeed a good player but if we do really compare of to others then we can actually see the difference.

In business talks then this had been since from the start.

So do I, Luka fits the spot as he's really bringing entertainment to the league, with how this young player excite the fans he deserve being
selected to be on that cover, Not against Zion but he's absence
due to his injuries brings other rookies to hypes, Morant have a higher chance
to win the ROY award and still getting recognition lifting his team to possible next round

All about politics and media hypes, NBA might see something to bring more potential gamer to follow

Zion instead of other deserving players to be in that cover.

4364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which altcoin will be your favorite this season? on: July 01, 2020, 03:54:47 PM
Which altcoin do you think will be the game-changer this time as most of us have speculated and believe that there will be a bull run post Bitcoin halving, apart from Bitcoin altcoin does give a good return on investment during the Bull run just like how we witnessed last time. I will suggest everyone to choose top altcoins before halving as not everyone can afford to invest into Bitcoin.
Lets change the season because we are already in 3rd quarter now.

Though i am still considering Bitcoin as my Main Holding but i will shake some Not good performing altcoins like XRP and Litecoin.

I think i will look for another sets within this week before it ends.

Too bad after the bitcoin halving the crypto prices was not increasing but it's ok I believe my altcoins that I hold the ethereum and binance coin. These two are good to hold for long term and for sure if the bull will come my altcoins will pump.
It already increased but not that Good as what we expected mate.

We have Hit $10,000 level for several times but did not managed to stay longer and always Experiencing denial.
4365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: July 01, 2020, 12:16:38 PM
     ~snip
Anyway, the NBA will be resuming soon and I can't wait for it to bet on my favorite teams.

I am also excited about this though I am not that updated right now with the current teams. I am still rooting with my Milwaukee Bucks. I've been rooting them since last last year and right now they are leading the eastern conference. I just hope they follow and we adjust on the new normal right now since we might not be seeing any TTs and noisy fans this continuation of the season.
Maybe the game will resume with fake audience also?like what Fox is doing right now in other sports event?

Anyway looking forward to my L.A Lakers and Phoenix Suns team.

Hoping that it will start this soon because Life is nothing without NBA watching every free time.
4366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A lot of Americans still don't know what Bitcoin is on: June 30, 2020, 01:31:46 PM
I had two clients from America I want offer graphics designing jobs for, I demanded my payment would be in BitcoinBTC or Ethereum. To my greatest dismay, they were dumfounded on what Bitcoin or Ethereum is. I am still suprised up to this very moment. Cheesy Roll Eyes
Just like the whole world does.

Almost majority of people around the world does not have any idea about bitcoin,or even crypto currencies.

So i think you should have let them learn what this is and for when they need to use.

it is your call to lure them inside crypto.

4368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess on Sports/eSports betting on: June 28, 2020, 11:03:23 AM
I love chess games, in fact, I downloaded it on my phone to give some room playing online while in quarantine.
For there will be a place where we can include this in online/sports betting it might get interesting for oldies to participate as well or those chess lovers will get into it. Or maybe I consider myself for this and maybe this could also help to promote this game as most of the new generation had giving no/less interest in learning rather than those ROS and many other online games.

There is no much better way to play chess is with someone in real than in computer because the thrill is there and the challenge.

Here are some threads about chess..

4371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Venezuelan can now renew their Passport with Bitcoin as payment. on: June 27, 2020, 04:22:53 AM
Venezuelan citizens who are abroad can reportedly use Bitcoin to pay for passport services.

According to BTC transaction images posted on Twitter by Ronny Martinez, an engineer who hosts an academic YouTube channel, the Venezuelan government is allowing Bitcoin as a payment option for passport renewals and extensions via its online immigration platform SAIME (Administrative Service for Identification, Migration and Foreigners).

Source

Venezuelan Government is continuously supporting Bitcoin so no wonder why everything in their government specifically regarding payments will be available.
Though this news is not yet confirmed By Venezuela government but for sure this seems to be legit.

Damn that's really frustrating, what about those who acquire the offer and being pending now because of the stopping?they are just making things worst lol.
4372  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beginner's needs directives from seniors. on: June 26, 2020, 08:36:09 AM
Many newbies has dropped out in the forum because of lack of encouragement from the seniors, many beginner's has determination for the forum but it has been taking off because no support to step in next rank.
Encouragement is the back bone of learner's we need a massive support from the seniors to grow like others. remember that class one is the beginning of education.
Before account of two,one must be counted.
We lost hope to continue this journey because we assuming that our posts are irrelevant no appreciation from Seniors.
I begin to wonder how millions of people in the forum accelerates and obtained a higher rank.
We the newbies needs to be upgraded from this level to another level.
We have to know the criteria to follow so that many newbies will not fall apart.

Support will come if you deserve it,Dont expect seniors will support you just to rank up and Join bounties.

Do your things,be responsible member and the Support will come your way.

And besides sometimes Seniors are being rude not because they Hate you but they wanted you to learn in different manners.
4373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Orlando Gonzalez-Ruiz vs Luis Porozo on: June 26, 2020, 02:36:20 AM
Comparison against the two boxer

Gonzalez-Ruiz record =  https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/766659

Having 66.67% knock outs.

Porozo Record = https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/740319

Having 44.44% Knock Outs.

Looking at the stats it seems that the Huge Bettor has a advantage to win.

But i will never spend such Money to risk in single Bout (unless i am a Billionaire )
4374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DONT MARRY YOUR ALTCOIN BAGS on: June 26, 2020, 02:04:09 AM
altcoins are great for flipping for more btc but dont every marry a coin. When btc goes on a run past all time highs you dont want to be bagholding ALTS. You will watch them get crushed. I personally was bagholding alts from 4k-20K and they got demolished I even had friends saying man you must be doing well with those bitcoins you have Cheesy In the end alts went nuts and I did well but If I would have waited till BTC topped out I would have made more. So moral of the story there is dont marry a coin/project they and watch your btc shrink get in and get out after you make decent profits. Sure sometimes you can buy an alt an maybe 10x-100x on it bagholding, but there is 1000s of coins out there that wont make those type of gains. Anyway do whats best for you but dont be that guy married to a bag watching btc head to 50-100k or whatever the top might be
It has been a long since i have read thread like this because mostly People still believe that Holding altcoin will bring them profit.

But the sad reality?it is not instead they will only lose unless willing to Hold coins long time until it climbs up.

Not Like Bitcoin that can be trusted and actually has been trusted to be profitable the long you can handle the wait.

Some traders lucky to find which altcoin will be Mooning but this is very rare and cannot be happen in daily basis.
4375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos are open - end of the Pandemic era. on: June 25, 2020, 05:39:29 AM
Face masks is just a reduction in area of danger perhaps, its a bit similar to 6 feet distance rule.   Doesnt mean it works and both measures are minor to the main risk of catching it on hands and/or mucous membrane which is the eye nose mouth, thats the big one so far as I know.
and actually we are mostly discussed and advice to keep distance or wearing mask because it can enter our Eyes,Nose and Mouth but what we are being denied for understanding is the virus can also enter in open wounds and also in Open pimples so the risk is always there if we don't know how can we infected.

Russia developing a cure especially well would be a surprise, good for them if they can do it but Im not sure I trust their testing process to avoid apparent risks in the process.   Worst thing is to make a vaccine that causes problems to some then you will never hear the end of the anti vax movement that are currently mostly idiots.
The whole world are developing the cure though it seems that russia is the most closer to finding one,and our government as well is waiting for russian development .

4377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos are open - end of the Pandemic era. on: June 24, 2020, 12:20:11 PM

Which is wrong, it's weird.. that woman should not be wearing mask, how can we see here face. lol.. (picture was taken from the article shared).

Maybe they are trying to protect their employees so the casino are 100% covid-19 free but we don't know about their customers or clients.

In the first place She must not be there because people come to gambling not for woman wearing 2 piece (actually 3 piece because of mask lol)

I think that is a protocol to weal mask and that is required to everyone entering the casino so nothing we can do with that.

~
If I'm the woman there, I will not allow myself to get expose myself with other people and will not wear a mask. Not weird but the face doesn't matter anymore.

Not maybe but they really are protecting their employees and the business too because one case can completely ruin their business and will go back to closing again.
yeah and actually She is safer not only with covid19 but with the people that might look bad towards her so with mask being Hidden personality is indeed.
4378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 325 million new potential users on: June 23, 2020, 04:07:29 PM
According to coindesk, PP has 325 million users, according to cointelegraph - 305 million Cheesy While in reality it's really 325, did they change number to make their article appear a little bit different and "relevant"? Sounds curious.
Well this maybe a typo error because only the middle number change, and also how do we know the reality when this is only about their stats and cannot be find by public.

Well, I wouldn't say that we get 325 potential crypto users
Of course we will not sure about that 325 million user because i think part of that users are already Bitcoin users so there is no assurance that 325 million is the right number to talk here.

Nice image But Japan almost on bottom?seems like the respondent are not from the true users of Crypto.

4379  Economy / Economics / Re: Which is better, staking or investing? on: June 23, 2020, 10:43:40 AM
The open blockchain platform Harmony has announced that it will start supporting staking from now, in an effort to create a blockchain-based infrastructure.
source: https://www.harmony.one/
Of course, as I know, there are many exchanges that support staking.
I want to fully understand what is staking and what are the best coins and platforms that we can do staking and give good profits?

My most important question: Which is better, staking or investing?
Investing is always be my choice,i Have been in this market for years now and staking is not giving more benefits and besides most of my friends that into staking are now losers and converted their money into investing.
But it depend on the company you invested if they are stable enough to give good stakes.
First it's important to know what is the meaning of staking, otherwise, you'll fail with this type of investing.

Yes, I consider staking as investing because you stake your coin for a certain time to earn reward and you are not assured if the value of the coin will rise, if it falls, you will lose as regardless if your coins will increase but if its value will fall, it's still useless.

With that said, I think I'll choose the normal way of investing, not staking.

Exactly,Investing is still the safer way of putting our money inside crypto as long as we can afford to keep holding for a certain time and not greedy to look in easy money.
4380  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to earn money out of nothing? on: June 22, 2020, 10:09:42 AM

There are also many online jobs out there if you just make your own research. There are many freelance job in the internet who payed a lot.
