4361  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Muslim Bakery refuses to bake cake for Gay Wedding? on: February 28, 2017, 02:12:39 PM
Where is  Brad Avakian (Oregon Labor Commissioner) hiding now? Do we have any statements from him yet? It seems like he is having problems only with Christians. When Muslims harass the gays, it is perfectly halal.

This is the double standard that I'm referring to, the only time that public servants will come out and scrutinize people for stuff like this is when they know they'll be getting news coverage from the MSM who'll support their cause without an issue. When the opposite things happens to a Muslim bakery and people are outraged people won't come out and say anything because they think they'll be perceived as Racist, Islamophobic and so on.

This whole Islamophobia thing is something that was present at one point around 9/11 but it's not really something that is as widespread as the Liberal news organizations want people to believe, it's just used as something to say against people that don't support Liberal causes.
4362  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can Marine Le Pen win? on: February 28, 2017, 07:19:03 AM
I personally think she has a high chance of winning based on the current state of France as it is now, it's a place where many refugees arrived in and have made France a crime ridden area. I'm not saying the refugees caused all of this but it's a good climate for someone like her to go in and win an election.

She is also someone who is well liked by the PEOPLE and hated by the politicians on the other side based on how fierce she is. I think she is real feminist based on the type of way she really fights for womens rights, unlike the bullshit womens march and the whole hating men thing here in the United States.

AHAHAHAHAHAH
xD

Le Pen a feminist? xD
Yeah and I'm Marry Popins!

She's not a feminist. Here whole "feminist position" is against immigration as is her economical speech, her political speech, her educational speech etc...

No matter if she's right or wrong to fight immigration, you can't say she's a feminist. She's against abortion, against family planning and she voted NO against a moral text at the European Parliament that was not a harsh text but a simple one stating that abortion should be a universal right for women.

YEAH! A true feminist indeed.

On her program of 24 pages, the word women appears twice. Feminism at best.

You're really a bright one bud, I've never seen someone who fully believes without an issue that the new wave of feminism today is actual and real feminism. She was going to be forced to wear a headscarf to visit  Lebanon's leader and when this news was discovered she cancelled the meeting as she wasen't going to do this.

You can perceive that in one of two ways, a publicity stunt in order to garner more support from nationalistic French supporters or a way to advocate for womens rights in the Muslim world as they're forced to cover themselves.

You also can't go ahead and say that being against abortion is something that doesn't make her a feminist, that's something that people believe today which is horrid. You have to understand that you're killing a child when you commit an abortion and people don't support such an action, so it would simple to see her be opposed to this on those grounds. I understand women have the right or should have the right to commit this, but wouldn't that constitute as a murder?

Please provide some more sources on some of your claims relating to Le Pen and MAYBE I'll take you a bit more serious on your horrid attitude towards how feminism is today, as this isn't real feminism and is just a war against men / white males / and so on.

4363  Economy / Economics / Re: If the ETF fails and large BTC sell off happens can coinbase exchang fail on: February 28, 2017, 06:14:31 AM
Coinbase and other large exchanges wont fall nor take a hit in the least if the ETF fails, I personally think that all this hype due to the prices going so high due to the insane amount of people that are going to want to buy and sell are just an insane amount of bullshit spewed by people who want to make a quick buck off people. The large sell off or buy isn't going to occur, demand will just increase and the price may go up a bit and go down a bit.

All I see is the price coming to some sort of stabilization in some time after the ETF is approved, IF IT IS APPROVED. These exchanges have such a hold on all of the purchases that I just don't think they'd fall even during a high amount of selling and not enough buying to support it.

Etf and coinbase have a lot of difference.

In my mind, btc can up with etf, but etf cant make btc fall

Tough wording but I'll agree with you partly, the ETF won't make BTC fall in the least it just won't happen even if some random dudes on the internet attempted to make people think this.
4364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption in Africa: Bitcoin solving problems in the country on: February 28, 2017, 04:58:13 AM
Might be the only way for normal people their to be able to escape the rampant corruption that is present in countries in Africa and sadly mostly accepted by people due to the widespread nature of it. Bitcoin could allow people to be able to hide vast amounts of money from authorities but I guess that could only go on for so long without the government attempting to crack down on it.

It's probably going to be more of a chore for people in the countries in Africa to be able to buy bitcoin and go through all the loops and bounds of this. I don't even know of many exchanges that would want to deal with the impoverished people in Africa (Not saying they all are, but by the standards of the Western world some are)

I really think Africa is going to greatly benefit from bitcoin, because it is known that a big part of the population to this day remains without bank accounts. With bitcoin acting as their own bank, the citizens would have total control of their money. Also, the money transfer is a huge business in Africa and with bitcoin's lower fees, it could really keep up with the competition.

See people on this forum are always saying this kind of stuff, how could Bitcoin help these people in the least if no one is going to accept it and NO ONE wants to go ahead and be the first to try a service like this, risking their hard earned money.
4365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Association of Canada on: February 28, 2017, 04:22:16 AM
This announcement of Canada being the country for cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin should really be changed to them supporting the block-chain technology and that's all, as the National Bank in Canada (forgot it's real name) came out with something saying that Bitcoin will probably fail without government intervention. If this doesn't sound rather hostile to the bitcoin decentralization cause, I really don't know what's going to convince you that  Canada is not the right country to accept such innovations relating to bitcoin business.

I really do not learn much about this, I know technology is very strong blockchain. however I still feel dissatisfied in it, because the transaction is confirmed too slow. I currently have a large amount of money and stuck, I wonder until when it is confirmed. this was bad and detrimental, I hope it will soon be overcome

The blockchain tech does not relate in the least to bitcoin confirmation times in the least. It's just a current issue we face due to having an issue with BU and Segwit as solutions to fix the current confirmation time issues. Confirmations occur within a short time frame if you pay a high enough fee.
4366  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump Slashes Nat'l Debt by $12 Billion In First Month, Media Silent on: February 28, 2017, 03:56:13 AM
Correlation and causation are two different things.

What you're sharing is "Fake News"...or in Trump's vernacular #FakeNews.

This article doesn't say that Trump slashed the debt. This article states that the debt has gone down since he took office. And with a machine as big as the US government, it likely takes a bit of time for any decision a President makes to affect the finances and then for those affects to be recognized and reported on.

What's more likely is that the reduction in debt is either (1) due to something Obama enacted months ago, or (2) unrelated to any Presidential decision.

I look forward to seeing if the Donald really can reduce the debt...the US spends way too much money...on everything. We'll have to wait a year to see if the Donald has actually had an impact.

I would say that it's less of #FakeNews and more of something that is just timed to look a bit nicer. The fact is true by Donald Trump, but it's a very specific time frame used to deceive people into thinking he's had an impact this quickly. Not saying he hasn't had an impact to the stock market and other economic systems but it's not even like a budget has been advised by his administration yet so he hasn't been able to fight for a difference.

I think if you give him and his administration around 2 years you should see some wonderful results, but it's too early now to see and hope for anything. Though he has done a lot more than any other president in a short period of time.
4367  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will Trump survive the first period as president of the US? on: February 28, 2017, 02:53:34 AM
I think he should be fine for his term as no one is going to attempt to impeach him in the least, noe enough democrats in power to even attempt such a horrible suicidal move to the party. I am going to be hoping for a second term but personally I think he will want to run and if he does well in his first term (like all Americans hope for) then he should easily beat the Democrat canidate. I think they want to put forward Elizabeth Warren which will be an easy win for Trump.

He will complete his first term, and in 2020 November, he will be re-elected to his second term. I am seeing hardly any chance for the Democrats in 2020. They don't even have a good candidate. Who is going to be their candidate in 2020? Perhaps Kim Kardashian?

Elizabeth Warren will probably be the candidate in 2020, she's insanely more left than any other current serving democrats and has her own array of controversies and scandals. No chance for the dems in the house or senate either, it's going to be nice to see Republican control for a good amount of time.
4368  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The anti-Putin paranoia. on: February 28, 2017, 12:57:20 AM
In my opinion, John McCain and Lindsey Graham should resign from the Republican party, and join the Democrats. McCain is a corrupt neocon, and Graham is a gay liberal. They will be more comfortable, being in the Democrat party.

Speaking about John McCuck I mean John McCain (Sorry, get those mixed up all the time) some news just came out about his pay for play foundation that is very similar to the foundation that the Clintons ran. I think McCain is secretly a democrat and is only still in the Republican party and being re-elected is due to him being a Vietnam war veteran who uses that to his advantage.

Now I'll give him respect for his service, but using that service in order to further your own personal wealth and career in politics is absolutely disgusting. Waiting for him to get indicted on some charges one day for corruption with the Saudis or some other country.
4369  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump Is Damaging Press Freedom in the U.S. and Abroad on: February 27, 2017, 01:55:39 PM
This is just another one of the false narratives that the left attempts to spew, they're going to say that Trump is "Destroying the 1st amendment" "Destroying Free Speech" and so on and so forth, but they're just trying to hide the fact that the MSM today is one of the most biased and disgusting organizations out their. They've turned into a political machine for the democratic party (minus FOX) and the left feels they must protect them from losing their grasp and power as it affects them too.

Trump isnt damaging press freedom but he is wary and alarmed about how press are being controlled by politics. Press are no longer free but gives a biased report due to the control of their masters who are also in politics. Hilary Clinton has a huge connection and control on the majority of the News networks in the United States of America and she is using it to destroy Trump. It is right for Trump to target the current condition of the media which is no longer free but corrupted by politics.

Press has never been free and free of bias, it's just now that the people have had their eyes opened relating to how biased and political the press really is.

4371  Other / Politics & Society / Muslim Bakery refuses to bake cake for Gay Wedding? on: February 27, 2017, 02:14:31 AM
I think this is absolutely disgusting in a multitude of ways, and I'm not talking in the way of them not wanting to bake a cake for the Gay wedding. I personally don't have an issue with Gay marriage in the least but people must understand the issue some religions and people have relating to it, and that is bound to occur. The real issue I have with this is the double standard is that present, if this was a Christian owned bakery the local and major news outlets would be their in seconds to pound reporting down peoples throats.

Not just the media but riots  would have already be in progress in order to boycott the company itself for doing this act. I think there was a story around last year about all this occuring around last year

Here is the Muslim bakery story - https://twitter.com/AndyHortin/status/833810934887911424?s=09

What do you guys think about this?
4372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: price at all time high while utility at all time low on: February 26, 2017, 11:47:27 PM
It's kind of sad to see such an issue arise where the majority of bitcoins volume is not from people that want to adopt it, it's from people that want to buy/sell on the daily and make money from it. This could have never been predicted in the least.

If confirmation times and fees made any difference, then people would choose one of the many alt coins available.

Block Space should be Expensive. And Fees should go to Miners.

I love when people attempt to show differences between confirmation times and fees on some bullshit altcoin which is only be using a small amount and comparing it to bitcoin which has a disgusting amount of usage on its network. These altcoins have no problem due to them not having the same type of usage of bitcoin and that's all.

If you put the same sort of stress on the altcoins they'd be facing the same EXACT issues.
4373  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Obama DHS Attempted to Hack Indiana State Electoral System Nearly 15,000 Times on: February 26, 2017, 10:26:41 PM
Might want to find a more reputable and reliable source then some no name site called "DC Clothesline" what a weird name in itself. This is what people were referring to when they spoke about fake news, this and the Mainstream Media which skewed everything towards Clinton.

I competently understand the need to want to bash Obama into oblivion, I'd love to do the same exact thing but this isn't the way in the least. Find some better sources on this or scrap it in general.
4374  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do you think Trumps supporters still love him? on: February 26, 2017, 10:23:34 PM
I dont there were any trump supporters at all .the way he is trying to execute everything in hos own , i personally dont support him at all .not all immigrants are bad and u are opposing it in such a way would bbbbe horrible.

Trump never said that all the immigrants, especially the legal ones are bad. He is only acting against the illegal aliens, and those who hail from certain countries such as Yemen and Syria, who are more prone to terrorist links.
He says nothing specific. We can only guess what he specifically meant. Personally, I think that he is against all immigrants, because he accuses them in that they're taking jobs away from Americans. What difference to him is a legal migrant or not?

Did you really just ask the question of "What different to him is a legal mirgrant or not" He's the PRESIDENT of the United States, a country which is supposed to uphold standards of law and order all across the country, and that means arresting ILLEGAL migrants. He's said that ILLEGAL immigrants are stealing American jobs and has never said anything bad about the ones that come here legally, that's just not something you can attempt to say.

It's the false and sad narrative of the left to try to say Trump hates immigrants, CAUSE THAT CAN TOTALLY BE TRUE while his wife is an immigrant to the country and the 2nd first lady to be an immigrant since John Adams' wife? Don't fully remember that.
4375  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Need review of hexpay.org on: February 26, 2017, 08:11:45 PM
Better idea would be to use a site that actually upholds some standards such as a site like Paxful or LBC which can gurantee that the seller is going to be good. I'm not saying all scams are going to be prevented on these sites, but at least you're able to ask people if they bought it with cash so they can't chargeback, look at their feedback and so on.

It allows a bit more piece of mind than buying from an autobuy site that probably bought a ton of stolen credit card purchased amazon gift cards.

First rule of buying anything is to always use escrow and to never use autobuy sites. Don't buy that giftcard, only buy it if you use escrow. The idea is good, but the execution of things on the site is just terrible.

Most autobuy sites are good, well if they're reputable. This one sadly isn't so I would just avoid it and find a more reputable site that you won't have a high chance to be scammed on.
4376  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Communism in US on: February 26, 2017, 05:19:13 PM
Russians spys in USA could infiltrate the government and try to achieve communist. I doubt my boy trump would let it happen. Yuuuuge nuke russia if commie comes.
I don't share your optimism. Why do you believe Trump? On the contrary I think that Trump made all that Russia has become stronger and America has become weaker. We should never allow business to control government. It's a mistake to assume that they can govern. Policy and business are one and the same!

God I've never seen such downright stupidity, this whole Trump and Putin narrative is downright stupid and just doesn't make sense in the least. It's the only way the democrats can ATTEMPT to make a claim to salvage their party which is in disarray, that's the only thing that they've been saying this entire time.

Pick a new battle, one with evidence and claims that aren't just from the Mainstream media and say "A Source said this" which is just some premium bullshit.
4377  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Most reputable exchange for US based person? on: February 26, 2017, 05:44:27 AM
Wish I was still able to go ahead and say Circle as that was the exchange that I loved the most when we were able to, but they closed service to bitcoin users due to federal regulations if I'm not mistaken. The other exchange that Circle now directs their old customers to is Coinbase which has pretty good service but some people do have some pretty horrible horror stories when it comes to them.

OP are you going to be purchasing and selling on the daily because if so Coinbase offers GDAX which is a pretty nicely designed site to be able to buy and sell bitcoin on the daily as a day trader.

4378  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Google Blacklists Popular Website on: February 26, 2017, 01:57:13 AM
Yea this is nothing new when it comes to big internet search providers like google that only want people to see the world in one way by a couple news sources and the news sources which they deem are good for the public to be seeing, if they don't fit this narrative like naturalnews doesn't they're going to be blocked so less and less people find the site.

Kind of sad to see this in the world, but this is what happens when one company controls a disgusting portion of internet searches conducted in our lives today.

Because the Big G believes that the public should not have access to investigative journalism posted in naturalnews.com. In short. Internet Censorship.

I feel this is the reason for investigative journalism to be dying today based on the pure fact that these companies don't want it to occur, whens the last time anyone has seen GOOD and truthful investigative journalism happening? The newest investigative journalism is from sources like WikiLeaks which are actually leaking because the MSM (Main Stream Media) won't go ahead and show the people what's going on.
4379  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The White House bars several news organisations from briefing on: February 25, 2017, 07:34:44 PM
I'd say it was less of a barring and more of a non-invitation given, it wasn't like they told them to come and then held them up at the door or anything along those lines. Wasn't this briefing dring the CPAC event where mostly conservative news sources were talking to Sean Spicer so that's just what occurred.

They did the right thing. The mainstream media is behaving in a shamelessly biased manner and spreading rumors and falsehood against Trump and his administration. These guys need to be taught a lesson.

Disgusting how the media is today, they should be ashamed of themselves on the yellow journalism and false journalism they're portraying to the American people.
4380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Question about transferring Bitcoin from Gemini on: February 25, 2017, 06:28:35 PM
You are taking a rather large chance sending bitcoin directly from Gemini to a mixing service. Coinbase closes accounts for that. FWIW at least use an intermediary wallet.

Really? That's not good news. I asked a friend before doing this and he said that he sends to helix straight from Coinbase and has for over a year and has had no problems.

Yeah, thats one of the many horror stories when it comes to using Coinbase and Coinbase only, I've had friends who were buying BTC in order to gamble with Bitcoin who got his account frozen for months on end with tens of thousands of dollars in their. This is why I would recommend using another wallet in between such as Blockchain.info, BitGo, or so on.

I'd rather spend the extra transaction fees than have my money locked up, but I guess that's me.
