4361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank of America now treats BTC and ETH as Cash on: July 04, 2020, 10:42:38 PM
Trump is against crypto and that simply saying the US considers BTC and ETH as cash, I say I need the real source to read before it was appreciated. I don't see instances that Trump will never look into that despite of the crisis we had fighting because I know that the US government will never give a hundred percent support for crypto.

https://www.investopedia.com/ask/answers/121515/bitcoin-legal-us.asp

However, it is good enough to see how the US foresaw about virtual currencies and so Bitcoin itself. Considering it legal in their place will most likely it giving a way to show a massive adoption as the pandemic isn't over yet.
4362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My friend passed away and he have Bitcoin in his wallet on: July 04, 2020, 02:57:16 PM
Yes, this is a good idea and your friend will be happy if you do it,

It much happier if his parents can open his Bitcoin address/es and get those things inside.

I'm sure if ever that your friend really has bitcoin in his wallet, it will be a big help for your friend's parents. You can just instruct them on where and how they can possibly find the information about the wallet.
That seems to be a big problem unless your friend had left something about the private keys, passwords, and where it saves. Otherwise, they'll get nothing. Not really sure but it probably they don't know anything about Bitcoin and what their son's doing.

But anyway, nothing is more important for them but to see their son even though it was dead already.
4363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You want the best for your new project? on: July 04, 2020, 02:08:50 PM
If you don't like them, then don't bother to see them either. Just keep them ignored coz I know these projects will it die soon and no investors will take a look at them or even putting risk with the money. I understand how we've been disgusted to see a lot of fake projects flooded in the market but that is all about and there is no way to stop them coz from time to time, they continue to pursue their true colors and intention.

Try to look at this one about Vindax scam accusation

But not sure about LaToken scam accusation

4364  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I wish there was an option to invest in multiple coins via one purchase on: July 04, 2020, 12:38:35 AM
Nah, I was preferred to buy manually and choose the best coin rather than automation will run through. That was an absolute risk on our side. I agreed how this feature being removed coz eventually, it never gives a reason also for investors and traders to use it but somehow being ignored.

Most are choosing Bitcoin and partially the top listed altcoins. This seemingly turns into the fact that people will do their buys at their own choice and not by an accident because of that automation process unless there are choices out there.
4365  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins can hit either $8k or bounce back to $10k - volatile times are back? on: July 03, 2020, 11:13:00 PM
Bitcoin has a stabilizing movement from $9k to $10k after a huge drop last March. For that long, I'm really confident that it continues to move high rather than to drops back again and looking forward to surpassing $10k at this quarter.

Anyway, we can't neglect such volatility effect and it will certainly affect the trend but couldn't just a reason alone to think about the declining sentiment to come few days from now? Well, that gonna be possible but looking at how the market behaviors it looks like in a few months? We can tell that we have a big chance to see the price rallying high than to decline below $9k.
4366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of fake gold backed tokens on: July 03, 2020, 10:45:36 PM
I've heard of some projects who claimed to back up her tokens with gold, but ended up carting away with investors funds. Its rather unfortunate that we cannot verify this claim especially because gold reserves or back ups does not keep records of investors who purchases gold
They are just trying to take advantage of what gold's reputations have. OP is giving us the warning and out from the list will it tells something to be a fake project/s. I know a lot of bounties coming out saying about being backup by gold, but all just a trick to attract and it looks promising. Of course, people will look at those things for they think about assurance but unfortunately, they all have gone after they got what they want.

The important now is to evaluate the project carefully, knowing this kind of scheme will giving us a hint on how to find legit and fake projects.
4367  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to recognize a scam on: July 02, 2020, 11:12:35 PM
Almost all of the things and a way of scamming have already posted above. And that all be enough to say if that is scam or not coz eventually, they are pretty obvious to look at compared to the legit one.

However, I'm wondering why because there still a lot of people get scammed, I don't know if they listening to us or bothered to read any thread concerning about scamming. Or most likely they never changed their mindset but completely just a fool person to think about quick returns, instant millionaire or whatever it is which makes them blind to see it was a scam and they are already been scammed.
4368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: For airdroppers who can hardly relate on: July 02, 2020, 10:39:31 PM
Airdrops are always a crap after 2017 hypes. A common thing to happen is that when you ask questions about distribution and any queries admin will shut you down. The stupidity thing is that we ought to trust these crap things and think we gonna receive some even waiting for a long time but that was unfortunate enough that instead to have their explanation they simply ignore us and never answer.

That it makes no reason to participate airdrops even it looks legit, because things like this will always be possible to happen again and again. Broken promises are somewhat to heard.
4369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Undo button for transactions on: July 02, 2020, 10:17:04 PM
Laziness or being confident that can't even spend at least 10 seconds to check if the destination address is correct. There is no need to have this undo button but only we need is to change the way we process the transaction. Spending for a few seconds is not the hardest thing to do it and that is certainly a thing to develop rather than having this undo button. If we are irresponsible enough into our money then have to expect the same scenario happens again. I'm not sure how many had experienced (sending to the wrong address) such thing but it seems impossible to have 10 out from 100 tx, maybe it just only 1tx.
4370  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to obtain merit on: July 02, 2020, 01:40:52 PM
That thing can't easily be acquired this time unless you have an effort to post quality and informative posts. There is also not a need to have a lengthy post just to catch the attention and it looks constructive, but if you can make it in one sentence or two that could be enough. I know some members are aiming to rank up but not seems to be important here, but the most important is of what you have contributed to the forum.

Don't chase those merit but instead, let it come to you somehow in the future.
4371  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market Gonna be volatile again! Nothing New though on: June 30, 2020, 11:11:53 PM
Nothing has changed, we are of that condition since from the start. But what I saw in the market today yet to be stabilized but still good. I'll be fine even if the market position will remain like this until the end of this year because I wasn't expecting much for the halving impact this time since it all has changes coz of the pandemic. Maybe we could say a bullish trend next year 1 year after the halving event which most likely previous halves have shown it.

Tomorrow is the start of the 3rd quarter but I don't think we have experienced changes. Possibly it could be the same as of today or even yesterday.
4372  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the US economy suddenly recovering? on: June 30, 2020, 10:35:27 PM
I agree with you.
All of us had suffered big losses and even though US has a lot of resources but I can't think they can recover shortly. In fact, many experts say that the global economic status will be getting worse if the situation won't start to flatten. The more this virus spreads, the more it prolongs the recovery of the economy. It surely US will recover sooner (the same with the others) but not this time and not a good idea for them to fully resume business operations and lifestyle in order to make a huge recovery otherwise the crisis will still continue and it getting worse in their place.
4373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How the wallet is hacked, what should I do? on: June 30, 2020, 10:14:01 PM
Aside from OP's list,
Don't let other people know your wallet keys and never used another laptop/PC which you are not in control with when accessing your account.
Some cases may happen in accessing your account in computer shops have left unattended or not even close properly giving a chance for the owner/controller of the shop to trace what you are doing, and that possible they can access your account without any permission.

If we are wanting to keep safe all the time, we should also be careful in accessing our wallet. And as I said, better to have your own controlled PC (if we have nothing) rather than to compromise it.
4374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is This True or Scam? on: June 30, 2020, 09:50:17 PM
I don't think there is a need to prove that this is a big scam coz obviously it was. Getting X amounts in X hours? It is clearly identified to be a scamming old trick. How do I wonder where they get that returns for that quickly?

People should know about this thing and that impossible for any investment will bring that way, not even in trading. There are no instant returns in crypto and that should we have to think. Other than that it was considered a big scam just like what OP has posted.
Stay away from this.
4375  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: FOMO In Crypto; How to identify It on: June 30, 2020, 04:07:15 PM
Those emotional traders are prone to this kind. What they feared about it lost their chance but they'll never think the consequences it returns to them ( and obviously most are regrets). I don't know who created this thing but I was thinking for the crypto whale's participation. This is actually a trap for those individuals who want instant returns but unfortunately, this will only give them regrets and disappointments.

That is why I don't follow hypes nor to listen to trading signals. What actually they are doing is to create a market drama that will catch the attention.
4376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trying to recover funds from bitcoin scam on: June 30, 2020, 03:33:54 PM
How ridiculous it was. You have to send more BTC in order to get back your fund from them( pretending to be in the cloud crypto) and recover your account? They would like to scam you again. It is really a big mistake for you if you will send them just for that and for sure, they won't give back your money (including your activation fee).

Maybe I should have to let go of it and forget. That was a big scam and we can't think they'll be good for you, after all, and then give back your money.
This will serve as a warning for the others and be careful into nice offerings and fake sites because this will compromise accounts once they got you.
4377  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will a BTC bull market begin in July? on: June 30, 2020, 03:18:44 PM
I'm looking forward to how the market rallied in this quarter 4 months since the start of the pandemic. But I'm not been optimistic soo much to think about being in the bullish market and we can't make that highs early this quarter knowing the market resistance is still at a low.

However, it is possible to surpass the $10k resistance and I believe that we can make it again if the current momentum will be changed. Mostly we saw some ups in the 3rd and 4th quarters, and I was hoping for the market to behave the same as what happens in the previous years.
4378  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have a plan of teaching college students in my neighborhood Bitcoin on: June 30, 2020, 11:34:36 AM
Better to start teaching them the basics. More about history which answers their questions and curiosity with Bitcoin. This could give them excitement and clearly understand the reason behind of its creations. It soon they learn more if the discussion will continue and for them to absorb what you have taught. Surely it takes time but that is worthy enough of they got what they wanted to know.

What we would like to see is that people we truly understand crypto and let them know the advantage and disadvantages of having this.
4379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Emotion management is one of the key to successful trading. on: June 29, 2020, 11:39:16 PM
snipped...
Yes. Controlling our emotions may be easy to say but hard to do but it's not the only reason why traders end up successfully. Traders should also learn how to be smart in dealing with all the negative consequences in trading because if not, it will all fall into losing our money even how hard we try to control our emotions.
Absolutely, and this is quite normal for humans not unless if you have no feeling at all (but impossible).

But anyway, it is all about how we think right and how we make decisions. We can't actually guarantee that we can control our emotions but in a way that we have to think multiple times before we decide.
Not we are saying is a key to become successful in trading but it is has a big influence and it might be a reason for both failure and success.

Wrong board, move to Trading Discussion board
Agree and Hope OP could move this or MOD.
4380  Economy / Economics / Re: The Covid19 Curve is Flattening on: June 29, 2020, 10:37:01 PM
COVID-19 case still continues to increase in some areas just like in our place, the spread is getting worse that even some establishments resume their business operations but still, the sales are not looking good. This pandemic certainly affects the stock market, lives of the people, and more on economic capability. But despite these things, I saw a positive impact on the online business which we can find out an increase of online users and business that brought something in good. And perfectly a time for a crypto to be recognized and people will adopt in this.
