This is why Conor McGregor is the King. Not just in Martial arts but his mindset as well !

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1zxOCwzF2Bo

Gotta love this guy !

Who do you think will win in the next Match ?

Poirier or McGregor?

McGregor is a great guy, I really enjoy his videos. Sitting in his own bar, and just telling everybody whats going with a straight face. This guy is the king. How can you not like him.
4362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH hits $1000 on: January 13, 2021, 03:04:07 PM
In the beginning price at 735 Dollars. Maximum price $1329, minimum price $700. The average for the month $996. Ethereum price forecast at the end of the month $1219, change for January 65.9%.

That's a pretty a good forecast. I think also that we will see higher prices at the end of January and February. Below $1500 I am not going to sell my coins and will keep them. There is no rush to sell and we can just sit out the next ride.
4363  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Voting people to vote for you on: January 13, 2021, 02:55:30 PM
Why do we vote people to vote for us?

Obama said he was going to remove all the troops from Afghanistan when he gets in. What happened?
He sent 30,000 more troops in the week he got in.

Trump said he was going to put Hilary in jail and drain the swamp.
He never did, and printed more fiat than any other presidents combined.

Don`t you think we should just vote on issues ourselves? Rather paying someone to be our slave master daddy?

We are the tax payers, should we not have a say where our tax money goes?
We are the law abiders, should we not have a say on the laws we must abide by?

I think this representative voting is stupid. Politicians should be replaced with software and the people should vote in decentralized voting on issues.

I like your thoughts about democracy and fully agree with you. We shouldn't take everything for granted and ask for more voting rights. The average tax payer should have a bigger say in politics and not only vote a president every 4 years. Look at Switzerland for example. There it is pretty common to ask the people and let them vote directly on important subjects. I think the politcians are just too afraid to involve people more on their rights.
4364  Other / Off-topic / Re: Interesting way to resist sexual lust on: January 13, 2021, 01:59:21 PM
Don't look into their eyes.. *especially women eyes. Pretty strange ladies (or their images/videos) deliberately staring at you are usually the "spirit of lust" or someone possessed by the spirit. They stare at you to overpower you with lust.
I was revealed this in my early days of fighting lust. I obeyed "the instruction" without questioning (nothing wrong with questioning though... just that i 100% trust the source of the revelation.)

That is an interesting idea and probably feels really wierd at first. I already learned at an young age to look people into their eyes, not doing so would be impolite, and we don't want to offend anybody. Where else would you look instead? Looking into the sky while talking to someone seems a bit rude. And looking at their chest would increase lust even further.
4365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any insurance service for gamblers to retain heavy losses....??? on: January 13, 2021, 10:57:12 AM
I don't think this economic model has any right to live. That is, from time to time a person risks very much or very little. I don't see how this can be put into a mathematical model. Undecided

if there are other types of insurances ex. car and health related.  why not this , and no we dont have the rights to dictate if they can exist of not  . we are no experts on this field , thats why we think it wont work but they can think better than us and maybe they can make this possible in the future if ever there isnt any available

Quote
I don't see how an insurance company can knowingly calculate the risks of losing money from a person who regulates these risks himself.
this is the same on other types of insurances , how can they also know that the car will get damage or the person will get to an accident ? there is no way to calculate risk  .

they have stats accumulated throughout the years. car insurance has been here for so long already. so basically, they have records and stats already. whereas in gambling, where do you pull those stats? casinos dont disclose such stats of their players. for online players, you can easily see your stats. but are these casinos willing to disclose these data to insurance providers?
right now, venturing in this type of insurance is very much complex. so they dont want to explore their opportunities in the gambling area.

You mean those statistics that showing up your total bets, wager, profit and loss? Majority of gambling sites now do display those kind of information on a certain player
but of course they do have some feature which you can hide off those statistics.

Even if those insurance company would able to see those numbers but still it wont really be them to be that dumb on making a business with gambling industry.
They are just trying to hammer out their own heads if they do able to do so.

Gambling do majorly involves losing and users getting wreck and they cant just afford to grant those claims actively. Its not sustainable.

The thing with insurance companies is that usually don't offer tailor made insurance policies. They work on an aggregate level and offer policies that are usually similar for everybody. Only small adjustments are usually being made based on age. For example retirement funds offer the same policies to men and woman even though the life expectancy of woman is higher and they will likely get more money from the policy. Making special policies die gamblers based on their track record seems to specific for me.
4366  Other / Politics & Society / Re: THE RICH VS THE POOR. Societal Evaluation. on: January 13, 2021, 10:47:38 AM
Let's just concentrate on Rich kids and Poor kids.

Rich people's kids marrying each other is actually not that deep. They probably went to the same expensive schools and attend similar rich people's events. Where will they meet poor people?
At a holiday in Paris?

Let's be serious please and stop apportioning blames on them. But rather work hard to be the Rich someday.

If you are not born rich than your chances of becoming rich a very small. Even if you manage to become rich one day you will likely be old by then and your chances to enjoy your wealth are limited again. In the end we do it all for our kids. If we manage to amass a nice fortune it's likely going to be for our kids and grand kids to enjoy.
4367  Economy / Economics / Re: Trump bans Alipay and seven other Chinese apps on: January 13, 2021, 10:43:44 AM
This started with India, because it is the first Country to make bans over large number of Chinese applications under use. Following India's decision USA made its ban list for Chinese applications. It counts more number of popular applications, and the same has made the Chinese information technology market got a big blow.

Now Trump has made it an order to be executed. However the new government might have different plans. Upon that the ban list can increase or else the ban will be taken by the new government.

It's kind of sad that India had to start with these bans and not the western countries. China is banning western apps like Facebook or WhatsApp for years. In my opinion all countries should ban Chinese apps until they open up their market. It can't be the case that they close them self's off but want access do everybody else.
4368  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you think of India on: January 13, 2021, 10:32:12 AM
, I am proud of this country,  Because  It has rich and diverse culture: different languages, religions, ethnic groups and food. Love Indian food!.
But sadly right now just corruption riots and killing of innocent peoples are main subjects around their because recently I was watching few news channels most of time protests strikes and killing things coming out because currently ruling party killing all historical beauties and great heritage just for their own sack which is really bad.

The problem here is that bad news are much more interesting than good news. Very bad shocking news will great a lot of attention and bring viewers to the news companies. There are tons of positive news from India just the international news agencies don't find it worth to promote them.
4369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you in panic whenever there is a big drop in price? on: January 13, 2021, 10:25:48 AM
I remember when I bought my first coins and there was a big drop in bitcoin prices, I panicked and sold my coins at a really bad prices. After 2 weeks the prices were up again abs and I just lost money and paid transaction fees. After that experience I am trying to be more relaxed now. Its always an up and down, prices will bounce back eventually.
4370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Netherlands pilot scheme to allow women to play in senior men's team on: January 13, 2021, 10:05:30 AM
Commenting on the discussions above about physical harassment, I have played in mixed teams many times (women plus men) in a few different sports and this has never ever become an issue. I think, even if it becomes an issue later, many men would defend and ostracize the offenders. That has no place in contact sport,,, so I believe it is not a big issue at least not in my culture where women are respected.

Love women's football:)

Things will be quite different in club football where players spend much of their time together traveling, training, playing, in hotels, etc. I guess they will still be required to have seperate rooms, bathrooms, safety rules for different genders etc.

Yeah this will likely be the case, and much is such seperation going to affect the team? I think a lot of bonding between the teammates happens of the field, in the locker room, in the hotel, in the gyms. Maybe I am wrong but with different locations for different genders it might be harder to become a closed group. Not that I don't like womans football, there are some very talented girls out there who play really well. It's just that mixing genders seems wrong in my opinion. Same goes for transgender woman being part of female teams, it's just wrong.
4371  Economy / Economics / Re: những ǵ sẽ xảy ra nếu tất cả mọi người có tiền tệ riêng, không phải là một xấu cho Kinh tế? on: January 13, 2021, 10:00:22 AM
I think each person creating their own currency is more of a collectible value than it is for exchange and real value in the economy.
Nobody cares about them and there is no guarantee they have a stable value.

It seems that currency has only the value what other people would give you for it. So valueing your own currency at 100$ doesn't as long as you don't find anybody to pay you that money. So a lot of different currencies could work, as long as there is a big exchange were you can trade all of them. And also it would be good if merchants would accept all these currencies.
4372  Other / Off-topic / Re: Things you can do in self-isolation:) on: January 13, 2021, 09:54:26 AM
The first thing I did during the lockdown and self-isolation was to clear out my cellar. There was so much old stuff I didn't really need anymore. As part of it I also started to look at a few boxes of old books, and surprisingly I didn't read all of them yet. There were a few books I always wanted to read but never had the time for it. But now with the lockdown there is too much time available at home.
4373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: January 13, 2021, 09:47:49 AM

I already stopped gambling for about 2 years and I consider it as long enough already but I didn't expect that there is a user who didn't gambler for a longer time than me Cheesy.

Well as a student, you should use your earnings in your studies and at school instead of gambling. If you are still studying for now then just forget gambling. Focus on your studies but at the same time save and invest some into different investments of your choice. Gambling will not give you any benefit so just continue what you are doing right now.

2 years without gambling is a long time. I can't even make it without a week to not gamble.

I agree with you that as a student there are more important things than gambling. If you can do something good for yourself and your education than you should do so. Gambling became more  interesting for me once I started to work and earned my own money.
4374  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Social distancing and self isolation on: January 13, 2021, 09:29:50 AM
Social distance and self isolation created in Africa also where there no food and one lack access to water, how did their federal Government want them to survive indoor without help.

This is very sad when you think about it. Many countries can't afford to support their citizens on a big scale during these difficult times. But without these security measures and social distancing how can we really contain the crisis? Also the vaccines are very expensive. How can everyone afford it for 20-40 USD?
4375  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you want from 2021 ? on: January 13, 2021, 09:20:40 AM

I know we are all hoping for a better year, even if you did well in 2020 it can (and will) get better.

What are you hoping for, wishing for, or are going to MAKE happen for you in 2021 ?

My biggest wish for 2021 is for me and my family to stay healthy and safe. The corona pandemic is still impacting all of us and the risk to being infected remains high. In my country the lockdown was extended for another 2-3 months. The numbers are just too high. So after being healthy I wish for a good crypto year for all of us.

Analysts say Bitcoin price drop to $ 30K was ‘healthy and necessary’

In my opinion it is not really necessary. A bit more volatility in the bitcoin market could be fine for everybody. If the bitcoin price would be fluctuating between $30-50k USD then it would be easier for new investor to buy into the market. I really hope it price will stay above 30k for 2021.
4377  Economy / Economics / Re: which will u choose to buy on: January 13, 2021, 09:12:42 AM
If I was in that position the thing I would do would be to use half of the money for cryptocurrency investment.
And the rest I will use for real effort and to make ends meet.
On the grounds that if the investment fails I still have a business running and it's the opposite.

This is a good idea. Splitting large investments makes a lot of sense. If you would have asked me 1 year ago before the corona pandemic I would have put all the money down as investments. But now with the economy hurting so much and the lockdown being extended for another 2-3 months I remaing sceptical about the future. Better to leave some money in the pocket if times are getting worse.

I watched 2 videos from Ashli Babbit within the Capitol and just didn't get of what was going on. They were rioting in front of a locked and barricaded with armed security forces on the other side. When they tried to get into Mike Pence area there was only 1 shot and Ashli died. Very tragic.
4379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The 27th World Handball Championship 2021! on: January 13, 2021, 08:07:41 AM
I just went to see the groups and saw that Cape Verde is playing in the tournament? Grin Grin

I really dislike what they are doing with handball, they are killing the sport. 32 teams, half of them will be losing by double figures. 3 new teams (Uruguay, Cape Verde and DR Congo) combined would probably lose to a club I played for 20 years ago.

Yeah it seems a bit crazy too include all these tiny countries. But we shouldn't forget that handball needs more followers too. It could be a good way to include more countries and people from all around the world. In the end it only means that the group stage becomes more predictable and less exciting games. But the quarter and semi finals should be very exciting games. It also means less of the good teams will be knocked out on the group stage.
4380  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [POLL] Let’s say Trump did win the election... on: January 13, 2021, 08:03:39 AM
Looks like the majority on the forum agree that Biden win. The same is likely the case for the average American. Sure there are some extremist in any country but they make up only a small fraction. In my opinion it would be best to just move on. Being president for 4 years is already a great achievement. Let's see how Biden will fix all this corona mess.
