Damn late for me but I tuned in to see the injury time minutes of Manchester City and the VAR disallowed goal for Sterling. Not even a City hater so much but that was my absolutely favorite part of the week so far. Seeing Sterling's face when I thought the offside was pretty clear, if not some kind of foul!

Southampton had more shots on target! Deserve the draw.
4362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: September 18, 2021, 03:41:36 PM
For some reason I have a feeling not to force a bet on Atletico, unlike before where I always believed about Atletico with their current squad as if they kept promising victory even more so this was a home game. But after I look at it, it looks like Bilbao can hold Atletico at this moment and also, Atletico's previous match didn't seem so smooth to get 3 points which means Bilbao is very likely to hold this match to a draw.

Yeah I think you will rekt on Atletico today. 20 mins left and still 0-0. If the odds was 2x then for sure but 1.5x is not enough to risk as they might get another draw. To be fair, they will start winning a lot in a few games as they have... such a great strike force and to me objectively the best right now in La Liga. Even if half are injured the other half are still pretty good.
4363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 18, 2021, 03:00:53 PM
So I didn't get anything from first 2 games but I guess very few people did either so not so bad! HT right now and the most surprising result is 0-0 City-Southampton and guess what? Only Southampton pulled one save.

Something I can’t figure out how to maximize points from this event, I put together such a stellar team for 100 million, but it still doesn’t gain more than 50 points per week, (Pickford, Cancelo, Alexander-Arnold, Maguire, Dias, Origi, Pogba, McArthur, Grealish, Salah, Lukaku).  Sad

Although I already had a couple of times the thought that maybe I should diversify the team with players from other clubs ... in short, you need to ask Trofo.

Trofo has very good points already so no need to cover them but the basics are for sure there. You also need to look at the fantasy scoring, the simplest ones only give points to keeper saves, assist, scoring, and penalties for cards and goals but if you play where you also get points for saves+blocks, then for sure you actually gain more from a cheap keeper expected to take 10+ shots from City for example. This is my opinion sometimes, to take some penalties.

And also, agree don't change teams because they scored higher last week. Your idea is hit average players in form and spend money on one big player who always performs like Ronaldo, Salah, for me always Messi but of course now he is in Ligue 1 I lost my appetite for fantasy a lot).
4364  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2022? on: September 18, 2021, 01:19:00 PM
50k for 2021 would be a win.

We already reach $50k and as high as $64k so it's already a win for us.

But I like your conservative prediction, Lol, but I know deep inside you wanted more,  Grin.

In any case, still a $100k price at the end of the year is still realistic based on some prediction model (I won't mentioned it, but for sure you have an idea as to what I'm talking about). But there are also arguments against it, so only time can tell if we can get to 6 digits this 2021.

I meant to end the year at 50k, or to spend most of the time above or near there like we are now. Of course deep inside I want more, who doesn't want Bitcoin to be even 1 million dollars? I don't have 1 BTC yet but trust me I will find it very hard not to sell everything if we get 1 million! It will be enough for me to not have a job for 20 years or at least keep a job and not worry about 20 years after retirement.
4365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dollar supporters destroy Bitcoin ATM in El Salvador on: September 18, 2021, 11:02:51 AM
Those are stupid people. They have two payment options, either using dollars or Bitcoin. The act of destroying a Bitcoin ATM is vandalism and they will be held accountable for that. I believe these people have an organization behind them to induce them to do it.

Well, I wouldn't say people are smarter than anyone else just because they go for Bitcoin, or anyone who just does that but I still feel we'd be more stupid for taking all of this in without any context, without really knowing the situation on the ground, without listening to what they have to say.

Kind of stupid also to just rave about Bitcoin there without understanding how it helps.

Stupid+stupid = stupid still Wink
4366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Arizona has legalized fantasy sports betting! on: September 18, 2021, 09:31:11 AM
I'm not into fantasy but I had no idea it was even illegal, didn't think that sports and fantasy sports were 2 different areas of betting, but good news to hear regardless. Esports and fantasy do give a lot of new players a chance to shine where they normally may not be able to. Pools and predictor games showed me that. Is there anyone here actually from there?
4367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: September 18, 2021, 08:59:39 AM
No team is weak as long as they reached UCL. They all mocked Sheriff Tiraspol and boom they won another game against Shaktar who is a great team of Europe. Also , whoever thought that Milan will go in Liverpool just to get goals they were so wrong as Milan almost snatched a draw against a team who has the same players for 3 years now making very hard for any team to play against them.

Exactly. There's no more such thing as a weak team in the group stage. They got there either by winning their league or fighting off strong opposition in the qualifications, which is exactly how Sheriff made history for themselves. It's amazing for them, their fans, and a wake up call to giants to ask themselves if they are as good as they think they are.
4368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa Conference League Discussion Thread on: September 17, 2021, 01:44:56 PM
First round ended without big surprises in general. Spurs haven't won, but I think it was something expected. Slavia win looks easy on paper, but result was 1:1 for long time and they managed to score winning goals only in final minutes. And red card was big factor. Very solid Roma win.
For me, I was expecting more from Spurs, although Rennes is a good team but the level of leagues is very different, and also for Union Berlin, such defeat with such score is quite unexpected. Meanwhile, Roma is taking the lights right now under Mourinho Smiley

Stopped expecting anything from Spurs a long time ago, except if you want Kane/Son to score, which you can usually count on. But taking all 3 points is no longer a given, not since Mourinho and I'm still out on Nuno.

That said, Mourinho proves he is made for Italy, and maybe he was told there's no parking space for the bus at Roma:)
4369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 17, 2021, 01:02:47 PM
And For Leeds Bamford is back with them not being able to score last match against Liverpool I think that they are going to get one but also Newcastle since Leeds have problems in their CBs some still injured and Struijk is suspended for Red card.

Bamford is also in my scoring pick for fantasy, he was so close in the last match with that wonderful chip that most other keepers I think wouldn't have caught. They will always let in one goal I think regardless of who is in defence, so BTTS is the safest prediction. 2-1? 2-2? 3-1?

Tottenham/Chelsea I feel will go to a draw or a big win for Chelsea. Lukaku to score, but also Kane.
4370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: September 17, 2021, 11:59:31 AM
In addition, they need another midfielder to replace Modric. He is 36 years old and needs to be replaced, no matter how well he plays.
Well, they are trying to replace Modric last couple of years but in the end always the new guy sits on the bench and Modric has another great season Smiley There was Dani Ceballos, then there was Martin Odegaard and newest one is Camavinga. I am sure I am forgeting some names in the list since it is getting late here and beer has been flowing while watching Leicester - Napoli.

I don't know if Modric takes care of himself the same way Ronaldo does but if so, then at his position and requirements, it's so easy to see him play another 4 more years. I think the problem is that his replacements need not only to be suitable for the team and coaching style, but also need to be able to gel with Modric himself as the understudy.
4371  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2022? on: September 17, 2021, 11:02:19 AM
I know some predict 100k and thats the potential perhaps but the more normal reality would be in the region of 50k or so and certainly the 50 week average is more reliable guide then the peak prices which are frothy in reaction to speculation.   Obviously it can happen but I more expect us to stay within the trajectory of prior price action which is more modest then 100k

We know we are in a new era for Bitcoin when people are at maximum predicting 100k, and just 2 or 3 years ago the majority of people even during the 2018/19 bear market, people were saying everything was pointing to 200k, 500k, and 1 million.

I think for the first time, predictions are going down instead of up, but that's a good sign that the unrealistic analysts are leaving the market.

50k for 2021 would be a win.

Thanks for the invite. I managed to get in already and I saw that all my points were carried over (best feature ever for Superbru I think so anyone active there can join any league).

I don't mind paying a fee, if it's small as suggested, we can all agree also and make payments.
4373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dollar supporters destroy Bitcoin ATM in El Salvador on: September 17, 2021, 09:12:28 AM
I've seen loads of Bitcoin ATM theft pictures on reddit from years ago. I think this is just a robbery, someone thought it was a good idea to try steal the atm and make it give them BTC... and then just made everyone else think it was a dollar-supporter thing.

Which is of course nonsense because who on earth as a normal person actually supports the dollar when they have their own local currency?
4374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: September 17, 2021, 07:46:55 AM
Liverpool - Milan was a really great game, full of good goals and excitement. Liverpool was way better and fully deserved their win but Milan took advantage of the brief moments they had and scored 2 really nice goals.

I didn't get to watch either one but the highlights do look amazing, and if you read the coach of AC Milan's comments, even he had to admit, in a way, that Liverpool were just above another level.

City winning 6-3 should have been awesome too but that's because Leipzig were also just doing nothing but attack.
4375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading broadly in China, than Nigeria. on: September 16, 2021, 03:19:37 PM
Bitcoin trading mainstream in China, however Nigeria is not among the top 10 countries trading Bitcoin , could it be that Nigeria government have not legalize Bitcoin?why is China among the top 10, but Nigeria isn't? That source is definitely wrong.
Where did you read that Nigeria is not part of the first 10 in P2P trading?

The only P2P tracking I know is Localbitcoins and everything else is going to be hard to track especially because none of it happens on chain.

But I suppose Defi/DEX trading is all onchain and that is easier to look for analysis, but Bitcoin represents less than 10% of DEX trading, as far as I can look?
4376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa Conference League Discussion Thread on: September 16, 2021, 01:46:08 PM
So, does anyone of you are going to watch Conference League instead of Europa League today Cheesy? If yes, there is few games which may be worth to watch. Rennes - Spurs and Slavia - Union doesn't sounds bad. No way that I will back Spurs today - I'm not sure what their attitude towards this tournament will be and their opponent isn't weak. While in Slavia - Union I go with BTTS.
Also, I go with Copenhagen and Vitesse wins.
Also, it will be interesting to see how Gibraltar giants Red Imps will debut in Europe.

Same here, I've no idea about Spurs coach playing with a supposedly better team now in conference league.

If he's thinking of prize money, it's no use, because Spurs won't buy different players anyway win or lose, it'll all just go to their chairman's pocket. But Rennes will be more inspired so I think even a draw is a victory for them.

Game 1:  51' 1-1 draw
Game 2:  51'  1-1 draw
4378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 16, 2021, 01:02:15 PM
I went up to the 41st place from the 45th place this week. Although I still don't have the performance that I want, I had a better week compared to the other ones. Even though I'm at the 41st place, there is only a 16-point gap with the leader. I still hope that I can go up to the upper places in the coming weeks.

Don't worry , you're not the only one who doesn't perform well but hey, it's just the early stage of the EPL and we have so many games ahead of us so you basically we need some exact score points and we're back in top 15.

Championship was crazy in this 2 days just like UCL as for me it was impossible to catch a bet.

Ya don't worry at all. I have seen it all, being bottom and being top, and everything changes in 1 round, sometimes 2 or 3 rounds. One yellow cap is all you need to get anyway to get your entry fee back so just aim for that and then play without pressure:)

Big Champions League wins for the top 4, except Ronaldo United:)
4379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: September 16, 2021, 11:55:01 AM
Although Benzema is now 33 years old, he is still a great player. His best part is, he can perform the whole season without getting injured. He can keep fitness and performance just right. And so he can score a lot of goals and do a lot of assists. Benzema must play a key role in winning against a strong team like Inter Milan. I don't think if Benzema won't perform well then Real Madrid will manage to win.

He is an example of the modern elite player, takes care of themselves and eats and exercises, doesn't drink or smoke, and just live clean as ever.

But actually I would point out he also is one of those players who plays through injury. He had that long term wrist injury for example, and he just kept playing on.
4380  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2022? on: September 16, 2021, 09:59:14 AM
We wanted FOMO though, or at least good news that can wake up the market again.

Right now, the price has recovered to $47k, and yet there's no FOMO just natural progression of growth and recovery. So imagine if there is another good news after the hard fall to $43k, we might see the price hitting $50k. Nevertheless, we are in the middle ground, no FOMO and no FUD, so that's good already. So still some time for us to enter at this price and then be a holder.

I haven't really been paying attention much but it seems to me that there's not really any kind of special news this week or last week. I saw some Elon news but that's all non-Bitcoin already. So I'm actually much happier to see market grow naturally like this as you say, no need fomo to push price back to where it should be:)
