Somebody watched Fognini match today? He got disqualified for verbally abusing a line referee ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) What a character. snip Yes I watched it on Amazon Prime but there was no commentary and couldnt make out what he actually said. He looked disinterested really in the first set losing 6-0. Before the first game even he wanted his racquet restrung? Just a strange game. He got a few foot faults from linesman and started arguing with him which you cannot do. Fognini was defaulted while trailing 6-0, 4-4 against qualifier Bernabe Zapata Miralles of Spain, after a line judge told the chair umpire that the ninth-seeded Italian had used foul language.

Definitely think it's a definitely think it's a new ballgame, we have to remember so many new coming in and buying including institutional investors.
Don't think much chance of it going any lower
Yes but I couldnt give you a percentage, nobody can predict what will happen. Take last night Bitcoin dropped to around $51k this could happen again in the next 24 hours. Its true there are more big buyers coming to Bitcoin but there is still a lot of selling too.

Couple of things going on:
FUD spreading in conjunction with the fall in hash power in China last week.
Manipulation to flush out weak panicked sellers and buy cheap coins
"Alt Season" many are riding the chances of getting rich quick on the next flavour of the month $hitcoin, like DOGE

Thats more than likely 8000 Bitcoin off the market and into a HODL wallet for the next 5 to 10 years.
Its a strange time ATM, Bitcoin last time I checked was running at around 54% dominance, there is a good bit of selling going on by people getting into ALT's and their Bitcoin is being bought by those who believe in Bitcoin not in pump-n-dump $hitcoins.

A brand new rugby union competition starts on Friday when the PRO14 Rainbow Cup gets under way. Intended to pit the PRO1 Has anyone seen this new competition? It looks a good bit different than most competitions, There is 1 league table and the teams from each country will play derby matches, The 2 Scottish sides will play the 2 Italian sides. After all games are played the top 2 teams will play each other for the title. Teams involved: Ireland: Leinster, Munster, Ulster, Connacht Wales: Cardiff Blues, Ospreys, Dragons, Scarlets South Africa: Lions, Bulls, Sharks, Stormers Scotland: Edinburgh, Glasgow Warriors Italy: Benetton, Zebre

An experiment where we already see the result.
Slowly but surely is not applicable in parlay betting. Even combining bets with lower than 1.3 odds, it's not a safe bet.
You might be hitting winnings at first but it hard to maintain a winning streak in parlay betting.
I understand you can increase your winnings but Is there a massive odds difference between using a parlay or just doing single bets with low odds?

Activity around Bitcoin has always been going on in China, the majority of mining is happening there and as @Lucius states mining equipment is manufactured in China.
For me what this news means is that the Chinese government has given a clear indication that its perfectly ok to invest in Bitcoin so larger companies have legitimacy to get involved now.

This is an interesting concept. Betting with low odds, the theory should be that you will win more often but by going all in on each bet will mean you only have to loose once to be liquidated.
Even though there is no such thing as a sure bet I imagine the favourites win most of the time.

Bitcoins price is woven around PlanB's STF model, meaning its over and under the prediction on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, its not predicting the price at any specific date, its a guide and remarkable as it is we have followed it to date.

It will be interesting to watch Tsitsipas as well as Medvedev, Rublev, Zverev, Sinner, Shapovalov and Hurkacz to name a few in the future and how they progress. Will there be a different "Top 3" or will the mens competition become super competitive like the ladies with slams being won by a variety of players?

It seems to me that every time a Bitcoin price correction happens, the FUDsters come out of their rabbit holes and they start with the "I told you that Bitcoin is a scam but you didn't believe me." type of posts. I assume that even the Bitcoin bulls will secretly join the FUD army, just for the sake of spreading more panic and forcing a bigger BTC price drop,so they could buy cheap Bitcoins later. The good thing about this is that a bloodbath is coming in the overvalued altcoin markets....
The recent price corrections are perfect opportunities to spread FUD in the hopes of flushing out the weak hands to buy cheap coins. Some bulls probably take part in the spreading of FUD. There certainly will be a bloodbath in the ALTcoin market, whats going on with some coins is unsustainable and diverting attention away from the only coin that matters - BTC

A new trend is forming I think, companies accepting Bitcoin but not converting back to FIAT. We have seen Tesla make the same announcement and now TIME Magazine. Looks like these companies are going to be practicing HODL TIME's Chief Technology Officer, Bharat Krish, said that accepting cryptocurency as a form of payment in the next stage of TIME's digital transformation. April 12th 2021 TIME will be paid in Bitcoin and the company will continue to hold Bitcoin on its balance sheet. The company will now join the likes of MicroStrategy (MSTR), Tesla (TSLA), Square (SQ) and others who hold Bitcoin on their balance sheets as a store of value assets.

Again, an irrational comparison between 2017/2018 and 2021/2022. The two time frames are different, there is a different mix of people involved now compared to 2017. As @Lucius has commented there are institutional investors in Bitcoin now and in 2017 there were none. Institutional investors for the most part are using Bitcoin as a hedge against inflation, they are not thinking of selling Bitcoin back into the very thing they are escaping.
There are plenty of people who are predicting that there wont be a bear market.

Thats pretty good picking Timelord2067. I am half thinking of running a few bets based on your picks for round 7 even though I know nothing of the league. I will have to investigate the odds.
Looks like the Rabbitohs have the best odds of the picks, 1.43

What you say are so true..... The Middle class are quickly being absorbed by Inflation that are being manipulated. The actual Inflation, based on the goods that we actually use.. is much higher than the Inflation calculated by our governments. So they are hiding the real inflation to keep their voters satisfied ...but they are slowly but surely killing off the Middle class. (We get less interest on our deposits and the price increases are absorbing the salary increases and effectively nullifying them.) Real Freedom are money or currencies that are beating inflation ..... and since 2017 ...this has happened to Bitcoin. (Inflation Killer) ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Absolutely! there are also a lot of us who are earning less than we were before the financial crisis in 2007/2008. Wages in some sectors just havent rebounded back to pre crisis levels making is harder for people to save while bills and utilities continue to climb. Bitcoin offers so much for anyone who embraces it, Freedom is one and it was created to unshackle us from the grip of traditional banking

I thought that match was going to be closer. Tsitsipas played some great tennis. Rublev seemed nervous and tried his power game which didnt work.
Tsitsipas is really growing and climbing the world rankings. He along with some of the other younger generation are getting closer to challenging the top three more regularly and breaking the spell they have especially in the grand slams.

It had to happen! Just as Gandhi said, First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win. Initially banks tried to fight against crypto. They tried to spread misinformation about cryptocurrency. Big brains behind banking business tried to speak negatively about cryptocurrency. But looking at what crypto is standing today - it's a clear win! Probably this is just few initial banks started such services. But in next 10 years, there will be a crypto desk in evey bank just as we have for securities market today! Its amazing what can happen in 12 months regarding Bitcoin. If it wasnt for COVID-19 and the reaction of central banks I doubt we would be talking about Banks and Institutional Investors as much. Its true that in 10 years the banking attitude to Bitcoin will be very different as the fallout of the economic response to the pandemic will still be felt I suspect.
