4382  Economy / Gambling / Re: I have an idea of game. But can't programmed. on: February 26, 2015, 08:08:06 PM
The edge is too high. People will run as soon as they know this.

Sorry for my bad english.

We have 5 players with the same bet (for example : 0,005 btc).

Every player chooses a different number from 1 to 5.
The player who falls on the number releases lost 100%.

The others 4 players wins 24.75% (4x24.75% = 99% payout).

The people who makes the game takes 1% (-fees of transaction to others players).

I don't want to make that game, it's just an idea.

Don't insult me thank you.  Grin

Fixed your %'s to make it an actually competitive idea.

Yeah, this is a far better version of the idea. Smiley

4384  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Bitcoin Donation Chain Letter on: February 26, 2015, 07:58:56 PM
So in the end, you will get 0.5BTC free of cost. Next guy will pay 0.5 and get it back if he is lucky. Last 4 will lose 0.1, 0.2, 0.3 and 0.4BTC in order.

No one in the right mind will play this game. Tongue

Were you just trolling?
4385  Economy / Gambling / Re: The New SATOSHINONCE.COM is born!!!!!! >>Official Thread<< on: February 26, 2015, 07:52:11 PM

Im getting the hang of your game, I trusted it even after I threw that .15 in! I got the refund after a confirmation (or two)
I hope the maximum rises soon, the game is getting some activity definitely a new concept to gambling, I love it personally.
Is there any more information on how the number is generated fairly via the block heigjt to validate results??? Is there a verifier for this??

Also, is it possible for the same number to be hit twice in a row? I haven't seen it occur at all on the 0-9 game.

Thanks

The result is the last two digit (for 00-99) or the last digit (for 0-9)

To verify this is what I do;
Take the tx: let us take your 0.15 bet. https://blockchain.info/tx/2cd5e15b02d6d7309fd2bcab4d7787ffc2ab77c6465619d27fa1aaa360546a13

Click on the block against included in blocks:

On click you will go to: https://blockchain.info/block-index/798258

Scroll down to 'Nonce'
2nd last item.

Check the last digits.
In this case, it is 8 (for 0-9 game) and 78 (for 00 to 99 game)

Payout is usually issued after 1 confirmation from the result. So after 2 confirmations.

Of course, same number could be hit more than once. I had seen it go 4 in a row. Same as in a dice. 10% probability for it to hit twice.

Hope it helped Smiley
4386  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiBet Bitcoin Casino - Provably Fair - Bonuses - Play Roulette, Blackjack on: February 26, 2015, 07:26:57 PM
How much are those bonus codes worth, and what are the rollover requirement for them?

The bonus code I got had 0.1BTC on it. Wager requirement 40x. Only slots count 100%.

Is it Cairo?

Can it be cities or just cemeteries?  Wink

A "City" would be too broad an answer. Who said it was just cemeteries?

The contest seemed to have an obsession with cemeteries and computer science.

Bran Castle, Romania.

Dracula was a computer geek addicted to Bitcoin when he was little.

CapitalGain   Nice bet!

and let's make the game more interesting!

There is certainly a problem with the timer.

It was counting 5 hour 60 minutes 59 seconds etc.
It should be 59. if it is 60, it is 6:00:59.

The game ended only later. So can you tell me the exact time in the timer in which the game ends?

Père Lachaise Cemetery ?

Can you confirm this is not the answer to the second clue?

I also want to know whehter it is not New Lanark. I don't remember now how I connected it. Tongue

I can confirm that it is not. (keep an eye on the first post of the thread, all the wrong answers are updated there periodically.)

It wasn't likely to be the answer. I was guessing it will be a cemetery too.

I should have thought it would be in Asia. But then, there are not many cemeteries there, right?

Edit:
In the 1980s, a grave of an Eleanor Rigby was "discovered" in the graveyard of St. Peter's Parish Church in Woolton?
