2  Other / Meta / Re: Duplicate IP address on: October 22, 2017, 11:03:03 AM
Hi all,

my wife also wants her own account on bitcointalk which would lead to the problem of 2 accounts sharing the same IP address. Is it ok? What are the rules here?

Thanks for answering!

It is okay.

Welcome to the forum! Cheesy
3  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiDICE.com - The World's Most Popular Bitcoin Game on: October 22, 2017, 06:11:14 AM
Satoshidice.com is not the original Satoshidice. It had changed hands often and I think the domain was recently bought by BitcoinVideoCasino.

Do not send your money to any website unless you truly trust the owner/company.
I see this now uses Bitcoin Cash, an altcoin and not Bitcoin. If you send your Bitcoin to their address instead, you are not likely to get your money back. Posted in public interest.

1. How can I get the Server Seed Hash from the revealed Server Seed Plaintext ?

I found the list here.

I did a Google search. Looks okay now.

This is a good idea. A price for every new altcoin announcement thread.  Wink

there are really interesting and successful projects. Or do not you think so?

Successful? By what metric are you claiming success?

There are indeed some interesting projects.

Here's a metric.

Bitcoin will be less exciting without competition. They aren't really competition, they all do different things.
6  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Will I automatically receive bitcoin cash on blockchain.info? on: July 30, 2017, 06:01:08 AM
Will I receive bitcoin cash automatically or will there be an option I have to choose? Also, do I keep both bitcoin and receive bitcoin cash or will I have to EXCHANGE bitcoin for bitcoin cash? Thanks in advance fellow bitcoiners.

After the fork, your address will have both BTC and BCC/BCH/Bcash.

Blockchain.info will most likely only show you the BTC balance.

You will be able to access BCC by importing your private keys to a BCC supported wallet post fork.

You can sell the BCC on exchanges for $$$  Cool
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next 5 years, BTC will be 50000US, ETH will be 5000 US, IOTA will be 500 US on: June 17, 2017, 01:02:47 PM
Next 3 years, BTC will be 30000US, ETH will be 3000 US, IOTA will be 500 US, LTE will be 500 US.

Do you believe it? How do you think all next 3 years.

BTC will trade above $10000.
Ethereum will not be in top 5.
Litecoin will not be in top 10.
IOTA will not be in top 50.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does anyone truly understand Ethereum? on: June 17, 2017, 01:00:39 PM
I think so, but not yet fully.

It's got potential and will be around for quite some time, ever if I ignore the ICO factor that is pushing up the prices.

Let us be realistic. Dominating the Global Gaming Industry like this is not possible.

(No offense intended) Attention to detail is a valuable skill.
I did not say I "was going to dominate" this is a plan for a winning group of casinos, combined with a genuine community first effort, to dominate.

FYI your title still reads "Dominate the Global Gaming Industry. (RepaysU)"

"You don't seem to have the skills required to execute this project"
I have the skills to attract the exact type of people who I want to start with.

No, I don't think so. Or at least I can say I didn't get attracted.

EDIT: There is a "soft and quiet" sig program live right now.
This project will take a while, but we share a huge profit, so you are basically "gambling" with your sig.

"Calm before the storm", yeah? Tongue

What can this project do that the existing industry cannot? There are crowdfunded casinos, casinos where you can invest, casinos with rake back system, VIP system, referral programs, bonuses, promotions.

Good luck with the billion dollar project!

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Update/ New bounties] Dominate the Global Gaming Industry. (RepaysU) on: June 16, 2017, 02:20:29 AM
Bounty reward = $5,000 ICO credit
Please be the first person to convince me this is not a clearly awesome plan. You win the reward, how? I have 100's of original ideas and just need some help. The first person to clearly explain how this is not one of the best ICO ideas in history WILL eventually get $5,000 ICO credit.

You are overrating yourself and the project. You don't seem to have the skills required to execute this project and will probably lose interest soon if you really go ahead with it.

Let us be realistic. Dominating the Global Gaming Industry like this is not possible.

sometimes I do it on purpose to attract a rare type of person

since this ICO and token will be so famous.

A HUGE ICO

a massive amount of funding

There will be plenty of cash for the semi-private casino

this is not a clearly awesome plan

OK, now it has to be a group of casinos, not one, since I am not trusting my future to one person!
(Come on, how is this not a great idea?)

(skipped to the end)

You now have a chance to Dominate the Global Gaming Industry!

This could be the biggest thing in the history of the forum.

A MASSIVE token supported by the biggest industry.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA :: Buying / Selling on: June 16, 2017, 01:48:18 AM
I am not selling IOTA on any forum.

This is not me -> https://forum.iota.org/u/ndnh/summary
I just got scammed 5 Gi from u there!!! Please refund or send btc!

He just say it's not him so why do you even ask for a refund ? O_o

If you have any proof it's him, post it and he will receive negative trust. But if you have no proof, don't waste your time posting. And in both case : SFYL.

Sorry for your loss too. but you could have avoided this by using an escrow or checking up with me here or asking for a signed message.

Selling 200 000 M iota for 50 BTC, lower amounts possible. PM in interested.

That is a $2 billion valuation.

I am in for $500 million.

The demand is there, the price is not going to be lower any time soon.

Probably. There is no point buying overvalued crypto ($2 billion?!).  Cool

I will buy IOTA once it gets listed on the exchange.

18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fees!!! on: May 28, 2017, 05:48:46 AM
If you cash out by bitcoins at a casino and the casino doesn't add enough fees for fast confirmation. If the price of bitcoin drops a lot. Should the casino be held responsible for the price differences in which you cashed out at and the current loss in btc prices?

No.

they don't care i think but i know for sure that these service like exchange and casino have special deals with miners and they can have fast confirmations with very low fee -snip-

No, they don't make special deals with miners  Roll Eyes
19  Economy / Gambling / Re: [POLL] Moneypot owners accepting Rain..... on: May 16, 2017, 02:09:09 PM

If they don't have access to the server seeds, why shouldn't they? After all, they can just use another alias and you won't know.

It's called the appearance of impropriety.  If something looks shady, some people aren't going to delve into the facts to find out if it's actually shady or if it's above board...they are just going to move on.

By ranlo actually using the username 'ranlo' at Moneypot, he is being totally transparent and there is absolutely nothing shady here.

Here is the stats : https://www.moneypot.com/users/ranlo Public.

This is really silly. A poll on Moneypot owners accepting rain!  Shocked

Edit.
Moneypot's stand on these matters is quite apparent.

MP owners can run apps, invest, play. And accept rain.
MP app owners can run apps, invest, play. And accept rain.
MP investors can run apps, invest, play. And accept rain.
MP players can run apps, invest, play. And accept rain.

By owners I mean those who do not have access to server seeds.
20  Economy / Gambling / Re: [POLL] Moneypot owners accepting Rain..... on: May 15, 2017, 02:46:13 PM
But in any case MP owners shouldnt gamble on any MP app IMO

If they don't have access to the server seeds, why shouldn't they? After all, they can just use another alias and you won't know.

Quote
why isnt he wearing a MP signature but wearing this one

How's that your business?

Quote
many many more rains he received since he is MP owner. he also received rain from players and this should never been accepted cause IMO MP owners should give rain to players!

MP owners can do as they wish. If you don't like these talk to them. If you are still not satisfied, take your apps off and leave moneypot.
