4381  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What or how does it feels to grow in rank?! on: July 10, 2020, 04:22:31 PM
I already had high rank when merit system was launched, so I haven't rank up yet, despite that I earned over 350 merit, so I can't tell how it feels. I still need almost 150 merit Cheesy. But I'm not very emotional person, so I can imagine my reaction when I will see that I got Legendary rank. I would react with calm face expression "oh, wow, finally" Cheesy.
I have felt an increase in account ranking 5 times so far because I am a new user after the merit system was launched in the forum. I feel amazing when I can reach a new rank because it is the result of hard work and my consistency in posting thing that are useful for the community. I have received 527 merit during my forum trip since 2018 and now I am on my way to Legendary ranking which still requires 473 merit.

Although lately my merit earn has decreased but I will not give up and say that as a form of failure I made a useful post. Regarding merit, I think it really depends on the user rating for the post we made and I just tried for it and let them evaluate it.
4382  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we rely on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency? on: July 05, 2020, 08:09:36 PM
We should not leave a real job because it is one of the supports of our lives in the long run in cryptocurrency only in part if there is time then we can take advantage of it without having to leave a real job.
Of course, but there is no prohibition for anyone to totality on bitcoin and leave the real job. The decision is in their hand so making the right decision will help solve the problem.

I personally have never agreed if I have to leave my real job and totality on bitcoin even though until now it still has a high selling point. The thing that I think about the most right now is that doing both together doesnt interfere with each other in the sense that I can still go in and do my forum activities even though I am working. It also depend on yourself and the necessities of life from getting bitcoin is also not prohibited as long as the person can do it, but as I said that in the long run, real work will help the necessities of life for a long period of time.

I always use the signature campaign as my additional capital in the field for my future business.
Wow, thats one of the pretty good things about using money wisely. Good luck to you.
4383  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have a plan of teaching college students in my neighborhood Bitcoin on: July 05, 2020, 04:34:32 PM
I believe that you have a good initiative to teach your student about bitcoin and cryptocurrency. I just want to suggest that you only have to teach them the basics of cryptocurrency as currency, usability, how it works and security. You dont need to teach them technical details about bitcoin or cryptocurrency. Let them experiment on their own after they get basic direction about bitcoin or cryptocurrency. Basic understanding is the most important thing to know and after that let them set their own goal for bitcoin or cryptocurrency.

At the moment I have no desire to teach bitcoin to other in the real world. This is because of the limited time and understanding that I have about bitcoin and if it has to be then I will only teach them the basics which later I will also direct them to the forum to gain broader understanding and knowledge.
I dont doubt your ability as a teacher, but in the end student will only focus on how to make money from bitcoin. Only that, maybe.
4384  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we rely on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency? on: July 05, 2020, 03:59:46 PM
Therefore it's not about just adoption, it's about the job that currently we are working on and that would not be reliable if the market is not stable itself.
It's hard to confident of the future as the economy might collapse and crypto market might be affected, but if the opposite will happen, then we are at the right side now.
Bitcoin and cryptocurrency are not stable asset because prices continue to change depending on market condition. For a certain period of time, working in cryptoworld that still earn a few dollar can help sustain the necessities of life during a crisis. But it is also not good to continue to depend on crypto without other income. Because the future of cryptocurrency cant be predicted with certainty, its good if we glance at some other opportunities in the real world.

Trade, affiliation, investment, minning, bounties, airdrop, signature campaign, and many other thing are some things that can be used as opportunities to make money to sustain the necessities of life for a while. For the long term, I think we must have a real job.
4385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you hide your identity with bitcoin? (100%) on: July 05, 2020, 03:41:52 PM
Yes you can and it's very easy. You just have to use a physical bitcoin exchange. This is a normal exchange, like the ones you find at every airport where you are able to get currencies with cash. This is completely anonymous up to a certain amount (depending on the country). There are also ATMs that allow you to buy and sell anonymously.
You can also use exchanges with no KYC, connect via VPN and register using fake names.
All bitcoin transaction stored on the network are public and transparent except that the identity of the person behind the transaction is private. Hiding bitcoin ownership is very difficult if someone buy bitcoin on an exchange that requires traders to complete the KYC procedure. But in my opinion everyone can still remain anonymous with bitcoin if buying directly through transaction between user, for example on the forum bitcointalk.org.

Buying and selling bitcoin in cash at a Bitcoin ATM is also not completely anonymous if the area has a surveillance camera (cctv), and finally I would say that being completely anonymous is a difficult task to do and being anonymous does not guarantee that users will be forever safe with bitcoin.
4386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: July 05, 2020, 02:38:46 PM
The match is tight. Bilbao has one of the meanest defense.
Quite a tight match for both team, of course. I think Bilbao have played a good match tonight (in my country time). They are quite tight in the defense area and it is enough to make Madrid overwhelmed scoring goal. Prioritizing defenses and counter attack is a good asset against big team and often this method can produce good result.

Madrid victory from Bilbao has made Madrid more comfortable in the first position of the Laliga standing and has made the point distance with Barcelona even further. While Barcelona behind 7 point and still have 1 match. If they go back to playing poorly tonight then I think Barcelona should give up the Laliga trophy for Madrid this season. Barcelona is inconsistency lately has made them potentially lose 2019-2020 Laliga.
4387  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fake MEW on Google Play on: July 05, 2020, 10:45:51 AM
Lol, you are a classic example of a crypto enthusiast who doesn't understand how hacks are happening around here. Do you know who this devs are?
Relax, you two are not wrong, but just misinterpreted the problem. What is now being discussed is about fraud attempt by using fake application that circulate in the google store and not about hacking.

Cybercriminal will continue to grow and various type of experiment to trick the victim. Google might be blamed for this because there have been many similar cases that have happened before and that must be an important lesson for them to clean up. But in reality they still allow this to happen and really this will cause many problems for them and Google user.
4388  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Fake MEW on Google Play on: July 05, 2020, 08:45:26 AM
There weren't anyone yet postingg a thread about their tokens lost due to this fake mew, its number of downloads must be just from the dev to test. Its crazy why google store had not screen these app before makin it available for downloads.   If no one yet had lost money, the fake app failed.
Most cryptocurrency lovers surely know the forum bitcointalk.org because this forum is the most appropriate place to explore all the problem associated with it. The belief in the minority that talk elsewhere about the problem is also not to blame, because not all cryptocurrency user are also user of the bitcointalk.org forum. They also can still talk in other places they want to solve the problem.

We never know that how many people have been determined as victim of fake application because they have never spoken here and all this is entirely Google is fault. They continue to allow fake application to be registered without further filtering before being released. However, we also never know for sure how many user are downloading application that are genuine user and in my opinion it is important to report this case on Google for immediate action.
4389  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The good the bad and the ugly -bounty weekly report spammers- on: July 04, 2020, 01:42:23 PM
Most people here have toyed with bounties and airdrops. It’s down to each one to recognize when those are pretty futile ways to spend one’s time (and privacy on some occasions), and move on to doing something more productive with their time …
Thats right, thats what I thought since the first time I knew the bitcointalk.org forum. It never occurred to me that I had to have the consistency of posting useful things before I really realized that joining a bounty or airdrop was a waste of time. Luckily I only joined 1-2 bounty if I didnt forget about it and that was enough to make me disappointed because there was never a price until now. I havent joined a bounty or airdrop for a long time and I have become accustomed to joining a signature campaign since my rank is still a member.

The signature campaign has changed my habit for the better, started to gain an understanding of the forum, improving the quality of posts until I managed to achieve hero ranking. There are many positive thing we can do as long as we want to do it in the forum, and contribution are things that have become imperative for me even though the impact is still very small compared to the other.
4390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Yes, there is a strip club that accepts bitcoin. on: July 04, 2020, 12:55:33 PM
Bitcoin becomes more and more popular. More people use bitcoin for payment for different goods, that is why more shops start to accept Bitcoin. No wonder that stip clubs accept Bitcoin too.
Bitcoin is a crytocurrency that is basically the same as fiat currencies. Both can be traded, both can be accepted as a means of payment. Its just that bitcoin is still not fully accepted in the wider community because of regulation. As an investment asset there may not be a problem, but it cant be used as a legal payment instrument in some countries.

Increased adoption of bitcoin is a form of success of this crypto currency as a new payment instrument that is easy to use anywhere, anytime when the wallet is connected to the internet. You dont need to carry cash as long as you can make sure that the place accept payment with bitcoin. But for this, you also need to be careful with your own wallet and security. Maybe you dont need to show that you have bitcoin in your cellphone wallet if you dont want to be robbed.
4391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: July 03, 2020, 03:08:08 PM
He just stopped negotiations for the moment, that's all. There is 1 year left in his contract and they could (WILL) renew it for sure.
Nor Barca want him to leave nor Messi can guarantee that he will be as important in another club as in Barca. He in fact risk being useless (like so many other players) and end his carrier early. Just look how many trophies 1st Argentina national team has with him, yeah nothing.
There is no best club for Messi except Barcelona from the beginning until now. Even though he has the desire to defend his childhood club, but not for now or next year and we never know whether it is just wishful thinking. Many speculation are circulating about the status of Messi contract with Barcelona which will expire soon, but this will only be an unhealthy food intake because eventually Messi will remain a barcelona icon for a long time. Did not in the previous years the same thing also happen with the conditions of the messi contract ?
4392  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The good the bad and the ugly -bounty weekly report spammers- on: July 03, 2020, 02:47:47 PM
It is undeniable that this bitcointalk online forum has become the second world for most cryptocurrency user. Regardless of what purpose someone comes to the forum then being a useful user is the best goal, I think. All users do not have to be expert but all users must comply with applicable rules. User contribution to forum and communities will have a positive impact on the users themselves, besides adding knowledge, reputation will also be good.

I dont think there are user who want to be labeled as bad users in online forums, but we are not the same here. Me, you, and they have different desires, goal, abilities, and qualities. For me, good user are those who can enforce the rules, maintain the quality of post, useful for forum and other user. Also, not all bounty hunter are evil, although they are not alway liked. About troll and spammer, they will always be in the opposite direction if they dont want to change their attitude. Forum have rules, so let them handle them well.

• Man Utd and Man City interested in swap deal for Griezmann. [source]
I dont think that Griezmann will soon be close to one of two English clubs who are interested in his services. Although Antonie does not rule out the possibility of moving to another club, he still has dream that have not yet come true in Barcelona. But if that happens, I like him joining Manchester City. But in my opinion, Griezmann will not move immediately because Manchester City will be suspended and will not participate in UCL next season and this may be an obstacle for every player to join Manchester City because every player want to play at UCL.

Once again, Barcelona must share points with their opponents because the match ends in a draw. The sad thing is that before they were top of the table, but now they have to give up on Real Madrid because they are better. Speculation about a new coach will inevitably arise after a series of recent bad results.

I was doubtful from the start about stein, but whats the point because we all cant determine who should be the right coach and only club management decides. About who is next, then I still want a Barcelona coach who knows well about Barcelona is philosophy and can apply it.
4395  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Plagiarism in newbies on: July 01, 2020, 06:50:21 AM
Ready or not ready to make quality posts still have to pay attention to the goals and intentions of the threads discussed. Sometimes beginners only post spam words in response to other people's posts and even carry out acts of plagiarism such as copying other people's comments with a few modifications.

this is what causes beginners to not develop. They remain beginners because they do not try to learn how to interact and exchange ideas in this forum.

LOL, but it really happened in the forum. There are many cases of account that are banned due to copying post on other website or other user post when they are beginners. Many user complain that they never do it when they dont remember it after a few years. But in reality, they do it without being aware of the side effect of their account when they are beginners or low ranking.

Plagiarism can never be accepted in forum, therefore a beginner must know this correctly and its time they avoid it and never do it. One good way to do this is to learn and get used to posting quality thing based on your own ideas and thought. One word of wisdom, there is no need to be an expert in all fields but enough to know the rules are thing that must be upheld. The bitcoin forum does not require all users to be able to know everything about bitcoin in detail like an expert, but it is good enough if we are interested to know it.
4396  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Plagiarism in newbies on: June 30, 2020, 03:05:52 PM
I don't think newcomers realise how disliked plagarism is here, and I don't really get it either but it is what it is. They will be visiting instant death upon themselves.
Of course, your word are really polite and right on target, when I was a beginner I also did not know enough about the rules of the forum that plagiarism is the most prohibited thing here and it is the deadliest weapon for suicide on bitcointalk forum. Cheesy

Actually there are rules that have been set in the forum for all member and which must be obeyed, but because at first many user are confused about the rules, plagiarism seem inevitable and that will be an experience. Sometimes knowledge is gained from experience, but for those who are familiar with online forum, they will first find out the rules in force before carrying out activities here.
4397  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What I have learnt so far, my advices for newbies. on: June 29, 2020, 03:12:29 PM
Introduction
I have noticed some new members on this forum are unable to earn merits,
They dont need to get it faster if they cant post something that attracts the attention of another merit source or user. Beginners still need a lot of process to gain knowledge until they can apply their knowledge to every post they make later.

This thread might be considered by beginners or low ranking users who want to learn and improve the quality of posts but it really doesnt mean for those who are lazy and too comfortable with their bad habits. In the end you cant force them to change habits if they dont want to change it themselves. But I believe that, there are times when ordinary posters turn into quality posters because he has committed to change them without coercion and that comes out of awareness. Therefore, I think it is not good if we judge them too quickly if we never direct them to the right thing.
4398  Economy / Reputation / Re: Forum made Hero Member on: June 28, 2020, 04:51:39 PM
Always great seeing others climb up that quick  Grin. Never failed to amazed me though. I had been watching some other guys like ya climb  up the ladder 'cause I always look up to somebody, and somehow wish I had a bit of intelligence, and confidence like you guys and be proud of what am I going to showoff.

I'm kind of late  Tongue. But anyway then, congratulations to you, dude. You earned mad respect here, hats off!  Cheesy. Good luck on you way to your new feat.
Some forum users, especially beginners or low-ranking member, will assume that achieving the rank of Hero is like climbing a mountain that must be passed with strong effort and consistency. Learning and practicing is the path to the summit and it has become a fact that I, they and others have gotten results.

I hope you can also prove that you also have the quality and potential to achieve a higher rank, hero and legendary are the other two rank you will achieve in the future. You shouldnt always clap when you see other succeed, but you have to be jealous of them and find out how we can do like them. You and I are in the same position, there are challenges we must overcome and they must be as normal as possible and not forced.

Upgrade00, Congratulations on your current achievements. Fight and get another 500 merit, mate.  Wink
4399  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin & Altcoin ATM around the world on: June 28, 2020, 03:22:55 PM
Previously I had heard that Indonesia also has a bitcoin ATM located in Bali. But in the end Indonesia no longer allowed the existence of bitcoin ATM due to regulatory issues. How about China ? I did not find the country on the OP list.
4400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never Before Experience On Gambling...!!!! Stay Safe. on: June 28, 2020, 06:14:22 AM
Therefore, gambling players who are experienced or not, must still be on the safe side by means of good self-control,
You are right, self-control is one of the precautions not to get into big trouble with gambling, especially about finances. It does not make sense if someone who treats gambling without control because it will throw it into the abyss of poverty and problems. Much more fun if gambling is used as an excuse to have fun not to get money. Eliminating a little problem is one reason for many people to gamble.
