PM sent.

Shares? I ordered a 6 month contract in late August, shakaru was unable to deliver it so I decided to end it, got most of the money back, except $200, I know he got scammed and has some financial problems now, but I've been waiting SO long now and really want to get it back!

Can I get my money back???

no response from PM and emails (shakaru@shadesminoco.com and andrew.nollan@gmail.com)

Others sell this for over $3,000.

Why aren't you selling it for, let's say, $2000?
4386  Economy / Services / Re: (WTB) Mining contracts on: December 08, 2011, 11:20:50 PM
1 GHash/s for $95 for 30 days.
4387  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Best method to apply TIM (Artic Silver, etc) to GPU heatsink? on: December 07, 2011, 12:14:08 AM
I never lap CPU heatsinks because generally speaking the quality is pretty good and I think any sanding would be likely negligble improvement.

Untrue.
Lapping cpu heatsinks can lower temperatures by 7-10 degrees, lapping IHS (especially if it's not flat) will lower temp. by another 5-10.
But you have to be very patient while doing this.

5970
better price:performance ratio
4389  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: undervolting 5850 on: December 04, 2011, 09:30:03 AM
how did you undervolt it? thanks

Depending on you VRM and card (ref/non ref, rev., bios limits) try msi afterburner, trixx, Ati tray tools, barelyclocked, clocktweak or simply radeon bios editor (best, but risky if you're not careful)

It's 15% faster than a 5970 in games, no idea how it performs in opencl, but definitely not worth it at its current price.
Also, it draws more power than a 5970, you need 2x8 + 1x6 pin PSU cables for each of them.

How so? Where?

4395  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: EUROPEAN BITCOIN CONFERENCE 2011, PRAGUE NOV 25-27 on: November 16, 2011, 12:15:33 AM
I'm looking forward to the content, hopefully the videos can be uploaded soon after the event. That's important. The stream for me is not that important because it requires some significant effort to actually be able to get a high quality stream. Personally I'd rather just wait for good quality vids rather than watch poor quality stream. So if you do stream, do it properly, if it can't be done properly, don't do it at all.

+1

As I will be busy at the time when the conference will be held, I myself am not impatient either, just please don't ommit anything Smiley

Maybe your GPUs operate on 2D clocks?
4397  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: November 10, 2011, 12:15:25 AM
They are self manufactured.

What was the cost of manufacturing them (including and excluding time which also has value)?

Bump.

Is cgminer better than guiminer and barelyclocked?

Does it support voltage changes on a lot of cards? Do they have to be of the same model?
Im using guiminer + barelyclocked ATM, but with BC I cannot change voltage or memory clocks on my non-ref VTX3D HD 6850 (only trixx does that well but I can only increase it), on my Sapphire non-ref HD 5850s I can only OC GPU core to 900MHz (memory and voltage changing works fine).

Ok, someone said I might get 7Mhash/s more, anyone got answers to my other questions? Smiley

How's with hashing speeds compared to guiminer?
Im getting 360 MHash/s per HD 5850 (@900/350)
and 225 Mhash/s for my HD 6850 (@850/750)
drivers are ati 11.5 as far as I remember

Hi,

1) How much is shipping to EU (Poland)?

2) Do I have to pay any customs/duties?

3) How much do you charge for certification/appraisal documents?
