Just a suggestion, fix the reason why the pos did not reward as it should have, and create a fork and a POS "do - over". So perhaps at block 2000 create the fork and pos reward schedule will be done then. Do it soon, or the chain will stop as there is no pow and pos is not moving the chain either. Also price will increase when people find out there will be another pos reward scheduled.

This coin is gaining a lot of attention. Many people that would have not even given it a second look, are now mining it. Very nice revival. Great work. It would be REALLY nice to have a bootstrap.dat as the chain is so large or atleast many addnodes or better yet, both. Please post what you can to the op. Again, VERY nice work reviving an old coin, and VERY difficult to do, and you not only revived it, its VERY alive!!! NICE!!

Bottom line is the POS needs to be reworked. We all got screwed on this save 1 or 2 people that scored the high pos. But it doesnt matter the reason, something needs fixing of the pos end.

Thank you for your reply. When I watch the pool , the speed rises by 1H per second usually maxing out at 2.8k after 15 min, YET my web interface shows around 130MHs !?!? I tried to mine vtc on coinotron, I tried spain coin, and I tried the blackcoin multipool that accepts scrypt-N. Same result on all 3 pools. Has ANYONE got this to work?? If you did, did you do anything special other than switch to the scrypt factor to 11. Was anything additional needed to be done with the manual setting?

I have KNC titan Batch 2 miners with firmware 2.0. I have tried for HOURS to get it to mine Scrypt N, ANY coin, it appears to hash in the console, but the speed is not reaching the pool. I have switched the "scrypt N" factor to 11. Ive even tried 12, and 13, but everything I read says setting is 11. Is there ANYTHING else I need to do, Ive been at this about 12 hours, and there is NO information on the internet. I would like to mine VTC, but now I guess the algo has changed to Lyre. But anyway I just would like to see this working. Also Im using a rasberry pi, and I know BFG 5.1 is built into the console. Is there anyway to use a downloaded version of it. I did download it, but it wouldnt detect my miners attached via ethernet (rasberry pi), but the bigger issue is getting the scrypt-N running around 130/MHS that shows in the console, just not in the pool.

Im in the process of setting up a new pool for Hobo and have been running about 60mh on it for a few days.
What I am finding is that the orphan percentage is more than a third of the blocks I hash out. Is this normal?

Some pools suffer really bad from hbn orphans. The worst one is http://www.coinmine.pw/poolinfo.php?coinid=21However most of the other pools get no orphans, so I cant really understand it. You might want to get with tranz and see if he can help. I have 900Mhs of scrypt hashing power so, I will be joining your pool anyway, so I hope it can handle the stress. That will be tomorrow April 14th about 11am PST. If you can get the orphan issue fixed, your pool will be VERY popular, because the pools that are available for hbn and bottlecaps are crap, trust me ive used them ALL many times, as these are my favorite coins. Many of the pools have major slowdown issues (not running at near correct speed). Also PLEASE consider creating a bottlecaps pool, and even better a multipool that offers bottlecaps and Hobocoins would rock, and I would certainly use it, as there is not one, but we need one BADLY!!! I have another 14 THS of SHA-256 I can apply to the multipool as I want to get as many Hobo and Caps as I can as they are my favorite coins. The payment (or fees paid) to a MN is 0.66666666 CRAVE that gets paid by the wallet which finds a POS reward. Since there is a fixed amount of POS block found each day that means those payments (or fees) go out to the running Master Nodes. can you help me please, i'm a lost noobie  I've tried to start another crave.exe with .bat and another directory for files (i copied another crave.exe in this directory to use it), and i got a message that connexion to port 0.0.0.0.0:30104 is impossible, and crave.exe already in use (of course cause i run a 1st mn on this computer). Then it tells me that it can't connect to any port, and have to use -listen=0. i didn't configure the 2nd .conf file at all and just run the 2nd crave.exe for the 1st time. Do you know why i can't launch crave.exe twice ? Must i copy it or use always the same one for both ? -datadir=C:\Users\*****\AppData\Roaming\CraveMasterNode2 add that to the second exe shortcort. you will need to copy and paste the old roaming folder and change the name That's mean that we have to create a new folder in\AppData\Roaming\newfoldername\ . What about wallet data?? Should be new one or old one?? ...Man...my masternode is flying now. I got today 9 payments 9 x 0.6666666 I wish to know better and more about multiple masternodes in one system .I'm running two at seperate systems and I have enough to add six more..But I'm already tired after start the second one. When I go to unlock my wallet for pos, there is no switch to "unlock for pos only", so the only way to stake is to FULLY unlock the wallet, which is VERY unsafe! Also once the wallet is fully unlocked, if you click on wallet, there is no "lock wallet option. These are MAJOR security issues, please make update soon.

Did you try "walletlock" ? I am not sure "walletlock" is a good idea. A week an a half ago when the difficulty was really high, I decided to use "walletlock" to lock my wallet, so that it wouldn't stake while I was at work. When I got home, my wallet was locked, but it was staking. When I had left in the morning I had 3 groups of coins that could stake while I was at work. When I got home, I had 2 groups staking, and one was just gone...I quickly exited the wallet and restarted it. It was then locked for real, and when the difficulty went down I unlocked it for real and everything worked fine. walletlock and walletpassphrase commands are a REALLY bad idea, because the viruses that steal coins take screen shots, and email them to the hacker. The devs know this, and are aware of this issue, and it will require a wallet update, that will need some time. Vegas |

At the end of the day people need to follow their investments. You dont get to bitch to your broker when you check a month later on the price of your investment , and found out you should have sold a month ago. Be responsible with your investments and follow them. If there is a technical issue, one of us that have more knowledge will step in and help you, but not after you show up a month after you should have updated.

I think your on to something spots. When a new wallet releases and forks, ban old peers. This will prevent all the headaches from appearing in this thread saying they are not syncing, and they have lots all their coins ect ect. There have been many wallets out there of other coins that flag a big warning that your wallet is outdated and you MUST upgrade. Please consider adding this to all wallets on future upgrades.
