Confirming the Airdrop does work. Who knows what the actual value will be but the airdrop is active.
4382  Economy / Reputation / Re: Tagging yobit campaign participants is right? on: December 25, 2019, 03:13:55 AM

I disagree with you here, and don't think they should all be in the same basket. (disclaimer: obvious bias, just like how yahoo also has a bias)

Mixers are simple: you give them coins, they give you someone else's coins, and you can do whatever you want with them. That's how they say they work, and that's how they work in practice. If they fail that obligation, obviously it's problem. Until then, you can dislike them because they give people privacy (#BanMonero and every other privacy coin! While your at it, ban every exchange that supports XMR pairs and doesn't enforce KYC on everyone) or whatever, but AFAIK there is no recent studies that show that mixers are "mostly shady activity"; in fact it's the opposite. If you have a different source to support your claim, I would be happy to read it and retract this statement.

This was not a shot at you or anyone else on the forum except the biased individual handing out red tags selectively.

https://www.fiod.nl/the-fiod-and-the-public-prosecution-service-take-money-laundering-machine-for-cryptocurrencies-offline/ This link taken from BESTMIXER.IO THREAD shows that some users do use mixers for illegal purposes. So 1 could imply that mixers are shady.

That's not what my post was about though, not in full at least. blurryeyed tagged 10-15 users over the yobit campaign (kinda mind boggling really since i'm just trying to keep the thing as clean as possible and I was a recipient of his tag), and claims he is always against scams and such, yet has failed to tag any perticipants advertising for other exchanges, sportsbet.io(multiple scam accusations against them), mixers, FortuneJack, and many other sites with scam accusations.

As far as I'm aware, Yobit calls their InvestBox "100% safe". With their signature, they advertised 10% returns with their X10 token, linking to a page that says "100% safe". You could argue that they aren't lying here: people are getting 10% returns on X10 token after all. However, nowhere is it stated the X10 token is a fictional blockchainless token created by Yobit for the purpose of InvestBox. No where is it stated that they 'reserve the right to print as many tokens as they want to dump on the market'. (please correct me if I'm wrong). The omission of that very important piece of information is what differentiates Yobit with other 'shady' sites. I would argue that this is a very important piece of information, as it's the difference between your investment being worth whatever the market value is, and your investment not being able to be sold because Yobit placed a sell order of 6000 BTC worth of X10 at 1 satoshi.

People are fine with ponzi schemes when responsibly disclosed, and not a claim of "make 10% daily profit risk free!!!!1!11". Can you say that Yobit has reasonably disclosed the risks of an investment in X10? (or at the bare minimum, vaguely mentioned it?)
I was never in favor of the Sig change, or even contacted ahead of time. I just woke up to them changing everything. I lobbied with the exchange and got them to agree to different signatures due to the fact that neither I nor the community agreed with the Investbox.

See, i'm perfectly fine with a person having an opinion, and i'm perfectly fine with someone disagreeing with my opinion on a subject. Look around, seems like there are so many different groups whom all have different opinions but the same opinion within the group.

I'm not going on a DT crusade or even getting mad at anyone. I don't feel tagging users are justified and i'm voicing my opinion same as you. Doesn't mean I hate you or dislike you. We just somewhat disagree on some points. Life goes on.

(...)

Please update at your page as well: https://yobit.net/en/signature/details/
As it is currently missleading everyone...
I have messaged the Admin to change the signature page to show the new sigs.

As everyone can see there has been an update to the signatures. I was not ok with the investment box and neither was a few others. There's a whole discussion on the reputation section if anyone cares to go look.

Other new updates, I now have direct contact with yobit account via telegram. This should help with getting the balance refilled faster when it empties. No guarantees of course but it was a requirement for me to continue.

Everyone has an opinion 1 way or the other regarding damn near everything on this forum. It's impossible to please everyone.
4384  Economy / Reputation / Re: Tagging yobit campaign participants is right? on: December 25, 2019, 12:07:32 AM
I've tagged scams & scam promoters since day one, always have & always will.

Don't promote known scams for payment & you won't get tagged.

Simple.

If you do get tagged for promoting scams, the last thing you want to do is send stupid PM's like this:

Quote
Posted for for transparency, my reply to OP's threatening PM:

i m a DT  1member,

So what? That only makes it worse.

i warned the people about yobit.

Yet you still prostitute your profile for them.

delete your negative trust, or i can give you a negative for witch hunting.

Stop promoting scams & remove your Yobit sig campaign & I might think about it - seeing as you asked me so kindly. You won't be the first scam promoter to leave me retaliatory feedback & I'm sure you won't be the last.

Nice to see DT1 members threatening other members......

..because it will only make things worse.

Another excellent post from blurryeyed because it basically seems to capture the mood of the majority of the forum members.
I disagree with user blurryeyed due to the fact that he is selectively tagging users and not sharing his views and red tags fairly across the board.

Guy tagged me, that's fine. I'm not the retaliatory type and his opinion is his opinion. I think if he is going to have this opinion though, he needs to go and tag everyone wearing a FortuneJack sig, everyone wearing any exchange sig, everyone wearing a mixer sig, and everyone wearing a sportsbet.io sig.

Almost all of these have a scam accusation open against them minus a few mixers but IMO mixers are mostly shady activity happening.

Everyone is free to have their own opinion of any situation but I do encourage you all to be fair in your opinions. Don't be selective in your judgements due to being worried about consequences or pissing some people off.

I have not forgot anything, I have asked about the PM space and no reply about it currently. Woke up to them agreeing to change their sig codes to promote their airdrop vs the investbox, so waiting on those codes and more answers.

I don't understand which signature we should use...

Senior one starts with 2x center tags and on the site it has only 1: https://yobit.net/en/signature/details/
Not going to matter soon. I'm waiting for new codes to be sent to me.

Attacking everyone wearing a signature is not the correct route to go here man. Look around the forum and you will find multiple users who are not ok with any signature being shown on the forum period.

If you read the bitsler signature, it does not say anywhere you are guaranteed to win. It is just advertising services they offer, which is all 100% true. They do not guarantee you'll win on every roll or anything.

Where you are catching a little hell is yobit is offering 10% daily through their investbox, which as long as you follow the conditions, i'm sure they pay. The problem is what happens with your initial investment? It's confusing to say the least.

I am hoping yobit takes me up on changing their sigs. I'll know more within 24 hours. Other then the investbox I agree with you as far as advertising for yobit is no different than advertising sportsbet.io, FortuneJack, Bitcasino.io, or many other campaigns that have had multiple scam accusations against them.
4389  Economy / Reputation / Re: Have you seen Yobit's new signature design? on: December 24, 2019, 12:09:58 AM
Gambling project is not forbidden because no risk wins everyone Wink
Airdrop made "forbidden-ponzi-morality"😂

The Vite 240 I bought last week went down to 140 satoshi. Extra didn't give anything. Tron gives regular btt and wink every month.

Yobit not counting my messages now. Because I didn't use the new signature.
Thank you to Yahoo for your efforts ...
PLEASE SAY AN AUTHORIZED IN THE FORUM
Is this a penalty for the new signature?
Hundreds of members who share the same fate as me are waiting for your reply.

Do not leave the members who respect the rules unanswered

Thank u
I cannot really give a good answer currently. Waiting on responses to a few more questions I sent the Admin. The biggest of those being are they willing to change the sigs and The investbox if I invest 1btc and buy 10x tokens. If I collect my % daily for a week will my tokens still be worth 1btc when I sell them? Or will my tokens lose value and I lose a big chunk of the invested btc?

I have changed their thread to what they asked for now. Users have to make their own choice at this time. I cannot say 1 way or the other if participants will be tagged. I will say I don't agree with tagging them at this point due to the fact that we are all ignorant on how it works.

I watched the video and there was not a real explanation of how things work. Just an FYI on how to make the investment. No answer on the actions that need performed to collect your % nor no info on if you lose your ass on your initial investment.

No matter what users are going to say Yobit is a scam exchange. They should also include every other exchange in that assessment, but nothing I can do about that. If yobit decides to switch up the sigs a bit I will likely continue looking over the campaign.

This is all I can say until I get some answers

4391  Economy / Reputation / Re: Have you seen Yobit's new signature design? on: December 23, 2019, 07:50:05 PM
I left the campaign after seeing the new signatures. Yobit is just an exit scam waiting to happen and it's blatantly obvious at this point. You can find stories of people's balances being locked and professionalism is nonexistent with this exchange. They would send out emails with blatant typos and they could barely even run their signature campaign without leaving users in the dark in regards to payouts. In addition to fake trading volumes I don't think anyone should be promoting their ponzi garbage. It's pathetic that any exchange that wants to consider themselves reputable would pushing for this so I'd suggest anyone that has money on Yobit withdraw it before they do it for you in some "hack".
Responses such as this 1 seem so hypocritical IMO. I was ok with getting paid by Yobit as long as I was advertising cryptotalk. The exchange was good to use while they were paying me to post about another forum, but now that they are promoting something in their site, I am not ok with it.

Look guys, I was blindsided by all this myself. I woke up to a load of PMs here and messages on telegram regarding the situation. Being as the case is what it is, I did ask awhile back about thoughts on myself looking over their campaign. THREAD FOR REFERENCE and the consensus was overwhelmingly that users would rather I be in some sort of control of the campaign vs noone at all. When this topic was created I had assumed that they would be advertising the exchange as well, not a different forum. My assumption is all of you thought the same thing being as cryptotalk was not even in existence yet.

Now on to today. Like I said before I woke up to all these changes, and i'm not personally ok with all of them. I never was managing the campaign, but rather trying to control the spam, which I think I have done a damn good job of doing for the most part, along with a great deal of help by a lot of community members. The Investbox has been a part of the exchange for awhile now. Not sure when it was introduced.

I know the general consensus of Yobit as an exchange is poor. I personally have never had an issue there but that doesn't mean others have not. I also know that almost every other exchange has had accusations against them as well. So generally they're all in the same category for me. Use them at your own discretion.

I'll wait for yahoo's decision on this before making any changes to my signature. This looks like a breach of contract on the part of yobit.

This user said it best as far as my deal with YoBit. They contacted me Sep 27th of this year and asked me to handle the cryptotalk campaign. They never said anything to me regarding Yobit exchange minus that's where payments would come from. Anyone with any sense obviously would come to the conclusion cryptotalk was ran by yobit though. So in a sense people were advertising for Yobit the whole time.

I'm not 100% in agreement that the investbox is a ponzi or pyramid but I could be wrong. Currently I just don't understand how the damn thing works and I need to find somewhere to educate myself on this.

Here's what investbox is according to yobit:
Invest your free coins to InvestBox! It’s a tool for devs to promote their coins. It’s NOT Pyramid/HYIP, all payments are made from special fund.
InvestBoxes can change status from Active to «No coins», but you can close your investment any time, it’s 100% safe.
InvestBoxes of AIR have a new type (no investment close, you can only get daily percent).

From what AverageGlabella posted apparently from Yobit's invesbox page, it's supposed to be investing of your free coins. Again I really do not know, so I am trying to find out.

Conclusions I have come to regarding these changes.

1. looks as though the cryptotalk campaign is over
2. my contract with them has ended
3. I am sending admin a message regarding this new campaign. I will be asking if the signatures can be changed. I would also like someone to have direct contact with regarding when their balance goes empty. I want better communication skills from them period or it's a no from me on continuing any sort of cooperation with them.

To the users who have or will change to this new signature. Do it at your own risk. DT is going to do as they please, even though I don't wholly agree with decisions to red tag the users at this point. Noone really tagged livecoin participants and this is no different.

I really don't like users using the excuse," I'm waiting to see what yahoo does before I do anything" You guys have a brain and your own opinions. Do what you feel is correct. Don't use me as your scapegoat.

To users who do or plan to use Yobit. Do your own due diligence and research something before blindly tossing money into it.

I know we are going to see varying opinions on this issue for both sides of the argument. Let's keep it civil while the discussion is happening and I will report anything that they respond to me with regarding this new campaign and my decision on whether to continue or walk away.
4392  Economy / Reputation / Re: YOBIT SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN on: December 23, 2019, 04:50:20 PM
With most users knowing Yobit having such a shady background why do members that have been around a long time continue to promote Yobit?

For users, is it simple just about monetising their banner space or are there any other reasons?
Let's start with, this thread does not belong in services section. If you'd take a look in reputation a thread on this already exists. I just woke up and am aware of what changes have been made as well as still processing and deciding the next steps to take.

Best course of action for this thread is to lock it and refer to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5211902.0 that thread for updates. Let's try to reduce the spam arising from this campaign to as few threads as possible.

Going against Rhavar on a subject of provably fair topic is really not a very smart decision.

Now, I am not saying you should change the way you are doing provably fair, you have hundreds of customers and constantly over 50+ users no matter whenever I look which means there are enough people who like to play here as it is and doesn't need to change it to keep playing.

However, if you want to read what Rhavar is saying either just ignore it and keep doing whatever you want to do or fix what you are doing with the helpful feedback of him, these are two options that makes sense. Trying to prove Rhavar wrong or trying to convince him that your system works won't be really liked since it won't work, dude knows what he is talking about and won't change the reality just for you, either ignore him or get help but don't fight.
Do you read replies at all before you type?

All joking aside I think Chris! Is giving you the best answer. Sometimes mods aren't sure or it's a grey area.

I supported what Deisik said about experienced campaign manager doing post count manually but I don't know how the bot works concerning the deletion of posts because I haven't experience it.

With that been said, does anyone have problem with the "send to my balance" or it just from my end?
Everyone is experiencing the same issue. I have messaged the cryptotalk admin account as well as sent a support ticket on the exchange.

No response so far. I'll say it again. I have no control over the payments nor the post counts. When you join this campaign you also assume the risks involved with it.

They may or may not refill the balance. I cannot say 1 way or the other.

I really think 8 pages in this thread is a little overboard. Issue was brought up, noone has a real answer because we don't know. Then you really have about 5 pages of off topic replies.
