I think these so called crypto analyst makes it more complicated though, it's just a boom and bust, bullish and bearish cycle. We are not in the 2016 pattern and next year will be the 2017 bull run. And we all know that once we reach an all time high in 2021 then it will be followed by another bearish cycle similar to 2018-2019. So regardless of over thinking things in crypto market, it will be the same scenario all over again, whatever waves or hypothesis they come up, in my opinion.

the final Thiem - Medvedev tells us that new young players have became the real strength and dinosaurs like Nadal, Federer and Djokovic should take them very seriously. as for me, in this final Thiem looks more interesting.
I think the final acid test is whether the breed of young players can win a grand slam facing any of the big three. We haven't seen it, as the big 3 continue to dominate the grand slams tournament in the last 10 years or so. So if Thiem, Medvedev and others can start the next year tennis tournament with a big win in Australian Open, maybe there is a argument that there are competition already and we might see the changing of the guards. Since we are all predicting, I will predict too. The price of Bitcoin is at $18,000-$19,000 already and it is near to the $19,000 price. This might be the resistance before making a correction or possible not. We might see a bit of a consolidation at $19,000 as traders might take some profits on that price. After all, we will see Bitcoin reached a new ATH soon so why predicting  . Lets just wait for it to happen  Waiting for the price to see crossing for the 20k as it would be the first time in history where if that happens soon so officially that will be the ATH price after almost 3 years. Will that happen before new year or will it be in 2021 or in future years is still doubtful because it should not happen it fall badly after reaching those prices like 2017. Most likely it will be hit before the end of the year. FOMO can't be stop at this point, the price went from down $18500-$18000, but then bounce back again to $18500 is just matter of hours. I will admit that I was a bit in a nervous when I see the price going to $18000 without any significant news, but then again, we are in the bull run and the greed index is in the range of 90% so I'm expecting a rebound and it did. Wait till the Asian market opens again in the next hour or two, the price will pick up again, and most likely goes to $18800 or even $19000. If that happens, then we will cross $20k this 2020 because of FOMO and positive sentiments on the market (more companies joining the bandwagon). |

It must be CBDC that will cause the next long bear market. It could start a bear market when CBDC starts to impose some regulations and taxes. There is much to be afraid of to the CBDC. It's the only thing that's new to crypto. Probably institutional investors being hacked or going to take profit and failure of Defi and DEX.
What has CBDC has to do with bear market? Obviously, when government started to roll their CBCD it will have tax some as fiat. I agree with the sentiments here, the next bear market would begin when we have reach the top again, whether in one to two years time, whales and big institution taking their profits, causing panic to average joe and noobs, having domino effect. No need for catalyst, probably if there will be some news, it will be just to cause more fuel, encouraging more selling. |

I guess they didn't expect the traffic in their exchange or they experience some technical problems but it will be good if they can provide a little information about the unexpected issue that they are facing so their users can easily understand why they are unavailable.
I doubt that is the change with Poloniex, they should expect hight traffic regardless if we are in a bull or bear cycle, that what a good exchanges should be. I am not so sure if BTC upswing is the main reason why those two are having an unexpected downtime but if they are not releasing any information to what happen in their side then what we can do is to guess only about the reason behind their downtime. Let's just hope that they will return as soon as possible so the traders in their platform will not be left behind.
