4381  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is effective twitter campaign for gambling? on: November 17, 2016, 02:09:13 AM
I think it worth for sure. It's a nice way to advertise your site/brand, it's cheap for the advertisor also (there is a campaign paying 5 satoshis per follower on twitter). You can get the publicity you want, make your link appear on hashtags you want.

I suggest you to run a campaign for about 1 week, see the results and think if it worth or not.
4382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: LUCK!!! :) How does it feels? on: November 17, 2016, 02:02:55 AM
The feeling is very good and dangerous at same time... It can give you too much assurance, and you can go with all your money on gambling game and end losing all your profit! Remember, luck is transient, and sooner or later the loss comes and you lose all your money.

Make your fast profit while the luck is at your side, next exit the game and celebrate!
4383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: where does transaction fees go to on: November 17, 2016, 01:58:37 AM
I'm very interested to see what happens when all rewards are found and the only thing miners earn is transaction fees.
Will fees have to be increased?
Will miners shut off hardware? How much hash rate would be lost? How much will difficulty be adjusted?
If anyone has good info on this topic I would appreciate it being shared. It's one aspect I don't hear discussed much.

The hash power will be used to mine alt-coins, to make profit with that, but there are some interesting doubts without answer.

Will the fees increase? That is an issue... Bitcoin users don't like to pay high fees, and I hope it doesn't be increased when this time comes.
4384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there new people coming to Bitcoin? on: November 17, 2016, 01:55:29 AM
there's a lot of people, both positive and negative for bitcoin, who'd pay alot of money for definitive information about bitcoin user numbers. no one will ever know for sure.

as for this site, if it's 900,000 or so users, then when we throw in account farmers, alts accounts and troll spammers, maybe there are 1-200,000 'real' users and that's from minute one so alot will have stopped posting.

I think it's +/- this amount of real users on forum and most of this number (100.000-200.000) inactives. Many Bitcoin users aren't or don't want to be connected with the crypto-currencies community, they just want to buy some BTCs, hold it and make profit. I see many people on social medias talking, but they aren't here on forum.

But I'm sure more people start using Bitcoins each new day, even if they don't use online forums.

FREE bitcoin every 0 second to faucetbox - NO MINIMUM PAYOUT

freebitcoin

really to faucetbox ?
its going down soon

No problem, you have until January 16 to make your final withdraw from FaucetBox.  Smiley

This faucet takes much time to claim, doesn't worth the time spent claiming each few satoshis (10-40 satoshis last time I logged into this faucet). I think it should be more easy and simple to claim, or you can add some countdown time and increase the rewards.
4386  Other / Off-topic / Re: How did you discover bitcoin? on: November 16, 2016, 04:29:33 PM
I discovered it on Facebook when I was promoting a PTC site. A guy PMed me and told PTCs don't worth the time, that it doesn't pay good amounts and told me the new way to make profit on the internet was with Bitcoins. So, he sent me a faucet list, a wallet link and I started using and making my 100.000 satoshis profit daily.

After some time, I was looking on google about BTCs and I found this forum. So, I signed up and start using BitcoinTalk Forum. And here I am until now. After made some mistakes like investing in cloud minings, HYIPs, hoping to make some decent profit, I learned it's just a lie and it's not possible to make a lot of profit this way, even with Bitcoins. I can say today Bitcoins gave me an oportunity in my life, because if wasn't the BTCs, I don't know what I would do now...
4387  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Would this be my best bet? on: November 16, 2016, 04:21:09 PM
Don't invest on Genesis Mining and in any other kind of cloud mining site. You won't get profit and you will just lose your money if you do this. Many people are complaining here on forum everyday about Genesis Mining and another cloud minings. Don't make the same mistake with your small amount of money that you spent a lot of time to get!
4388  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Is Bitcoin Trading and Why It's risky? on: November 16, 2016, 04:18:27 PM
Hello folks!

I'm thinking about starting to trade with Bitcoin, but I see people saying that It's risky & almost like gambling.

I think that I mis-understand the meaning of trading.

For me trading Is for EXAMPLE, buying Bitcoin when It's at 550$ and selling It when It's at 670$. This Isn't risky because If Its value doesn't Increase, you'll just have to keep It until It gets higher enough, Is this trading?

I would really appreciate If people clarified more! Thankx Wink
The example gave by you us right but the main problem in bitcoin trading is only when the price goes sharply down .
For example if you made buy of bitcoin at $500 and then sudden get down about $50/btc then you got the problem to sell it high rate .

No chance to Bitcoin goes to $50. I agree with his example, that is trading holding BTCs, the most safe way to trade Bitcoins. We know this coin price is always going up, so there is no fear to lose money this way (on long term).

But alt-coins trading and short term BTC trading is risk, because we have more chances to make a mistake and lose money. Alt-coins because their price is very unstable, and BTC because we can sell it on the wrong hour (on daily trades, short term).
4389  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Bitcoin Wallets on: November 16, 2016, 04:13:29 PM
I don't think Coinbase a good wallet, because it doesn't allow you to use your money to bet on gambling games. That is a very negative rule for an online BTC wallet. Despite the fees I still prefer Blockchain.info.

They have some rules that has been decided by someone else and they can't break those rules, they should make happy the regulators.

I think that they offer a good service depending on what you want to use because the wallet and exchange are two seperated things there.

Besides online wallet I would suggest you to search for hardware wallets as I consider they have a higher security level.

But why do another online wallets like blockchain.info don't have the same rule to make happy the regulators?

What you told about "it can worth depending for what you will use the BTCs" makes sense. If you don't want to gamble with the money in Coinbase wallet, and are using it just to hold, it can be good. But as most people here are always gambling a bit here or there, doesn't worth very much.
4390  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Direct your Site using Buttons on: November 16, 2016, 04:08:48 PM
For me it doesn't make much sense... Many buttons without information to be clicked. Would it be like a surprise button? You click on it and wait for a nice site be opened. I don't know if someone would pay you for this feature... But good luck anyway.
4391  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: How to promote my epay faucet on: November 16, 2016, 04:05:52 PM
Now faucetbox is closing. Paytoshi also. The only micropayment cache working will be epay.
Check also my faucet from signature. I moved it from faucetbox to epay yesterday and everything seems to be working well.

No, we will have FaucetHub soon, a new micro payment system. Promises to be a FaucetBox improved.

Check the thread about FaucetHub here on Micro Earnings section when you can, it's a nice project.

4393  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: BitRaffles.com - Raffles, win BTC. No deposits allowed. FaucetGaming site on: November 15, 2016, 09:10:02 PM
congratulations mex ! Smiley

I played here before but quitted, will take a look again now Smiley
Thanks!

I'm on this site too now.

Never saw this before. Looks nice, a luck faucet. If I don't win the prize and my balance goes to zero, do I need to go to Offer-wall to get more satoshis to continue joining the Raffles?
You get free tickets every X* minutes for free, so you can join the raffles as many times you want.
There's the offerwall option as well, where you get satoshis and can buy tickets Smiley

Are free tickets received every X minutes random?
4394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: November 15, 2016, 09:07:08 PM
Well its easy to get referals, but its hard for them make deposits and start gambling with the same house, the way i see this being possible is changing side from player to owner of casino or dice, otherwise may try to refer others but its very hard to get sucess into it.
It is impossible to expect that you can earn bitcoin by your referrals. Players who can make a big deposit usually join the site when it early started. If you were their friend, it would be much easier to gain commission from them. Thus, i think you need to sweep away the idea of getting money from your referrals

Some people make a good profit with referrals. They post a strategy video on youtube, and who watches it and want to try, sign up on casino with their links.

I have already saw who offers money to people sign up with his referral link on casino. A little giveaway to start betting on casino and making some comission for the refer. But it won't work for everybody, "just one in a hundred" or something like that.
4395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people use/hold bitcoin in 2016 on: November 15, 2016, 09:02:33 PM
I think 2 millions of persons at this moment... Just a supposition.

It's not a big number, and I'm supposing it, because we don't have a very big traffic on forum. Of course this is the best and biggest forum about crypto-currencies, but if the BTC was really being used in mass by world population, we would see more members here.

And I believe anyone who isn't a newbie on this world, have an account on Bitcoin Talk Forum, no?
4396  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: November 15, 2016, 08:57:13 PM
Fiat is something that has a lot of use, as its required to almost all the things we need, its a satured market. Bitcoin besides huge potencial and freedom is changing the way of gamble, since its being used as main and unic currencie where some people can gamble without worry.

Is gambling really important for the long term success of Bitcoin? I'm not going to say that it is totally irrelevant or even detrimental, I just can't understand how it may help Bitcoin given that most people, if not all, are losing in the end, and only a few are winning, I mean, casino owners before all. It is like saying that Las-Vegas casinos help American economy.

This sounds a little bit counterintuitive, to my ears, at least.

Well, casinos is Las Vegas can help the economy. When you think in Las Vegas, probably you think in casinos. It's a touristic attraction there. Everybody who goes to that city, goes to casinos. It can boost the country tourism and consequently, the economy.

About the online casinos accepting BTCs, they can help too, because gambling enthusiasts that use only dollars or local currencies will want to start betting online, and trying this new technology, so more people come to the Bitcoin world, start buying BTCs and moving the Crypto Currencies economy. One thing is correlated to another.
4397  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: November 15, 2016, 08:49:26 PM
A lot of countries are embracing bitcoin, most less develop countries in Africa are storing their money in bitcoin because their local currency is depreciation against the dollar with time I believe that bitcoin will be a world playet

I thought people in Africa weren't using BTCs, so BTC enthusiasts were trying to make the people there have interest on Crypto-Currencies world. I will check if countries there are really embracing Bitcoins. Many governments in Africa don't like crypto currencies, they don't want to see their people going up prosperous.
4398  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain $2 fee on $40 transaction? :/ on: November 15, 2016, 08:45:11 PM
I know how you feel... The fees there are high. I made a 0.002 BTC transaction and had to paid at least 11.000 satoshis fee with the estimated complete time in 60 minutes. I tried to reduce more the fee, but it didn't let me, said the fee was very low and insufficient to complete the transaction. So, we don't have a way to pay lower fees...  Sad

The fees recommended by blockchain is always based on the total size of your transaction. Higher transaction size = higher fees, so it is not based on how much btc you are going to send. If you want lower fee then your transaction will be on medium priority. Perhaps you should move to xapo wallet if you want to avoid fees.

Xapo is more complicated to use. How do I change the transaction priority to medium for an example?

I usually don't want fast transactions, because I don't need it, I just want to pay lower fees.

Why would you need to pay lower fees with Xapo when Xapo pays the fee on your behalf? It doesn't have an option to prioritize your transaction unlike blockchain as Xapo is like a bank and not just a wallet.

I'm talking about Blockchain.info, how do I lower the transaction priority there?

Even they don't take fees, I don't want to use Xapo, they are asking for personal informations, I don't want to give it them.
4399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling worth to try for newbie? on: November 15, 2016, 08:42:38 PM
hello there,
i was newbie to bitcoin.
already collected some from faucets, service and giveaway.
is gambling worth to try for me?
or it can be double edge for me?
For me newbie is not really worth to try gambling if you are going to gambling you are going to ended with fuck up life and when you are going to play with gambling with your collected bitcoin from faucets. You're going to regret at the end for sure gambling isn't good for newbie to try with low budget.

well maybe it could be a worth to try for a newbie even with a small amount , 0.001 is enough for them to put in gambling probably it could be a huge amount for them as far as i know but it is just a try and it will worth because after losing it they learn some lessons from that happening . but still it is not recommended .

I think it's recommended. There is nothing bad gambling a small amount of satoshis for fun and to see how much profit can be done. The addiction is a problem of course, but everybody should face the tentation to learn how to avoid from it.

Worse would be, if the individual start gambling when more advanced on BTC world, because he would have more money to use, and the loss would be higher...
4400  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: November 15, 2016, 08:37:26 PM
it's less risky if you invest your btc in gambling sites it's more stable for your source of income.
Less risky? Having a third party control your coins, where you also depend on that entity to see its bankroll being filled up by people losing to the house, is far from a safe and reliable source of income.

investing in cloud mining is too risky many cloud mining has offering that you can gain more btc but all of cloud mining is a scam. don't trust cloud mining it's all scam.
Cloud mining is an industry that people should stop looking at. Mainly because of the many scam sites with unrealistic return offers and their nonsense life term contracts.

Putting the fact that the far majority of the cloud mining sites are a scam aside, I must also note that investing in legit cloud mining sites is also something you should avoid.

It's far from profitable due to the block halving and the constantly increasing difficulty, and thus you are wasting your time and money if you proceed to invest anyway. But then again, people are free to choose.
Until proven otherwise every cloud mining website must be considered a scam until incredible strong proof appears contradicting that assumption, that basic rule will save you money in the long run.

The legit cloud minings are really mining crypto-currencies, different from the Ponzi HYIP schemes. But it doesn't make much difference, because it's no profitable anyway... A legit cloud mining doesn't promise you a lot of fast profit (different from Ponzies), they promise a small income for LIFETIME, looks really good. But when the days, weeks pass, we see that the small income is near to 0, so it doesn't worth.
