One of the reasons why other players still stay at old age.
1. Love of the game.
2. They are acquiring enough money for retirement.

You can add - chasing their first ring by signing a 1 year vet. minimum deals to a contending teams with stacked rosters.

Also, most teams, if not all, need a veteran presence in their locker room. Apart from chasing rings and money, being able to help/mentor young players is what some of the old dudes like to do.

Oh yeah. Sorry forgot about that kind of player.
But Dirk is out of the list with those.

Before it was Karl Malone, Gary Payton and Sam Cassell who really pushed it until 40 before retiring Nba just for the ring.

There are a lot of them who are stopped by MJ. Taking all the championships on the 90's and they are left with none since new players are getting better while they are getting old.

Good point. Thanks.
During the time of MJ as the best player in the NBA or also in the world, he was able to carry his team to win multiple championships and get
MVP awards. Now, Lebron James is the best player in the Planet but he don't have the capability to dominate any team, instead they were dominated by the warriors.

All these bits of "great" news but there is no increase in the token price.

As of today it is trading at $0.001489 each giving it a $161 million market capital. It is hard to see the price rising unless something big happens because for example if the price was at $0.01 it would give around $1 billion market capital but that for a company with ideas but nothing in return revenues.

Hard to see this being a success unless something positive happens soon.
Let's wait until it will happen, if I am not mistaken we were able to reach $500 million marketcap and that is the time when PundiX
was not yet listed in Binance. You know, Binance is a great project but at this moment, when whales are interested to buy cheap they can manipulate the price.

I am not a fan of Binance but have hopes for Pundi X.

If your market capital of $500 million is to be achieved then the token price needs to be around $0.004467 but it is currently $0.001489. I do not see that shift in price soon.

It can happen easily if these bad days of cryptocurrencies market end. Pundi X price has risen more than 10 times before. It can happen again.

Ah point taken. I checked the graph and shows  Pundi X was trading at over $0.015 in May 2018 and June 2018. In that respect yes it looks interesting to invest in Smiley

I always believed in the project anyway. The devices installed as POS in retailers across the globe would be just a game changer.
Thanks for that positive response, it's a game changer but it will not happen easily.
We need to bear with the bearish movement now so we can enjoy it once this will go back or might break the all time high.
4383  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin business success on: September 16, 2018, 04:46:04 AM
I;m interested, since bitcoin isn't that much widespread yet, how are businesses (that are directed towards bitcoin only) doing? Is it paying off or is there some serious profit involved?
Well, businesses attached to Bitcoin and related cryptocurrencies like the top 5 coins on the market are thriving well. A company like Cofred in Africa operates as crypto merchants and i can attest to the fact that the business is booming with much profits seen from the developments they make each year.
People will eventually adopt with the new technology which is blockchain and it's been leading by bitcoin which is the most popular
crypto currency. The adoption is going to continue and increase over time, and right now I would just be holding my bitcoin because I believe this is the future.
4384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MOBILEGO Crowdfund [$53 Million] - Decentralized Mobile Gaming Solutions on: September 15, 2018, 10:48:03 AM
it's gone now, i only see 960k order at 2k satoshi. i don't think whale or any sane person would buy mgo, so guess who might be buying mgo?

MobileGO is as good as a dead duck. The project is dead, the rest recent hype in Microsoft partnership and other information is basically hot air trying to generate media to deflect away from the facts.

The "owners" have never accounted where the millions were spent but it was around the same time they were frequently travelling abroad. This "project" has scam written all over it.
Wow, that is a big accusation, but thanks for the concern.
Me, I will not be distracted with people who are saying that MGO is a scam project, I wouldn't mind anyway, I've seen different things
and that are positive things which makes me believe they have future potential.

This thread seems to be very quite, I'd like to know about the update on exchanges, I believe you are working
on your own exchange but how about the external exchange with real volume?

I think that very quiet thread is one of attribute not very successful project. I can mistake, but I think that investors lost interes to TWN project.
If they want to attract investors again they need to deliver.
The ICO was successful as they reach the desired amount which is more than the soft cap AFAIR, so even if it's slowly but they have to work for it.

how can you find out that they are working?
even I can't see them on their official telegram has been deleted and social media has never had any recent tweets or posts
I did not say they are working, what I am saying is that they need to work or to deliver in order to attract investors.
Right now, we cannot have an outside exchange which can give us a chance to trade our tokens in the event we want to sell it.

it's  great to see this project forming new partnerships and continued development. compared to most other projects, the price of xyo has remained fairly stable.
I hold a nice bag of these but waiting for a bigger exchange to get involved with trading.
hopefully by then the markets are doing better  Wink

Yea one of the few crypto companies that is showing massive continued progress even in this market
The price is stable because people are not trading it actively.
Looking at the volume, it would tell that less liquidity equals less movement, we need to wait until it will be listed in decent exchanges and conclude.

price Pundi X now 25 satoshi, is time to buy or waiting bitcoin dump again and we get under 25 satoshi ? how price Pundi X prediction if bitcoin bull run ? i really want buy this token but not have money now

Unfortunately, what is happening to bitcoin is making trouble for promising projects such as Pundi X. All the coins and tokens depend on bitcoin and what happens to bitcoin is completely unpredictable.

Price is slowly going back up (btc wise) so that's a relief for now but it's hard to say long it will hold the current uptrend movement.
Good for us because we cannot afford to see the price to go down again as I believe we are already at dip now.
PundiX will continue to progress but price could change from time to time, so we should know our basis for holding this token.

While market is so manipulated, its hard to predict more exact price movements. Pundi X has done a lot in May. But now price following BTC movements..
That's the trend, no one can change it even PuniX, we have a great accomplishment so far and the price does no go to our expectations accordingly.
It's alright, waiting for the market to rise will happen soon because it's impossible we will not witness a bull run.

Hello everyone, im new here! nice to meet you all
Im interested in security token and utility token, it is any popular choice of this two?
You have to study the market first so you can make your own decision.
Try to explore the the market list so you have an idea of the whole coin, the top 10 are recommended coins due to good volume and faster development.
4391  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How is trading *not* gambling? on: September 07, 2018, 05:16:18 AM
Trading is not gambling. Its similar to some forms of wagering like betting on horse racing or poker.
Gambling is a game for entertainment and trading is business, experience , investment..
It doesn't matter how we see it, what's important is that we are matured enough to understand the risk before taking it.
Maybe they have similarity as both in trading and gambling, you need to risk money and hope to grow it and you can succeed or failed, depending on how you handle it.
4392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: September 07, 2018, 05:05:36 AM

Any comments? Is the NBA league really getting soft?

Nah, NBA league is getting tough! You can only say the league has become soft because it became less physical than the 80's and 90's era. The players now has evolve into a more agile individuals that could score with a minimal body contact. Everyone in the league today could shoot a three or hit from the perimeter, big men doesnt need to be always on the low post, they could even dribble drive their way to the basket. Only those butthurt haters  would say the 90's era is better than today.

I agree. The era of 80's and 90's are all on the type of plays that is mostly connected to physical contacts. With the flashy dribble handles by GOD Shammgod, I guess that started the next great dribblers of NBA history.

With a lot of moves and dribbling skills being passed down, that kind of play is being there for a long time now. And with a lot of new skills being shown, next generations will tend to improve and be developed in these games. Expect that in the next generations, having a 100 points in a game will be common as having a 70 points in our current generation. For me, great shooters and dribblers will be getting in the court of NBA soon.
Like curry of course but if the NBA will change their rules and they will allow more physical game then I don't think the outside shooting
will be popular as with pressure defense they won't have an easy look.

Good afternoon. Yes, I buy coins on LATOKEN. I, too, could not find a purse, but then I was added to the official chat of telegrams, there they helped me. I wish everyone good luck.

Hey where do you store the xpat token if you buy it on LAtoken? I don't see a wallet download on the site?
Good timing, it's very cheap at the moment and LATOKEN is a good exchange, too bad bitcoin dump so hard we were not able to
see some recovery, but we must be here for long term.
4394  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How I handle crypto regret on: September 06, 2018, 03:31:16 AM
Handling cryptocurrency regret is somehow hard to handle but think about it as a challenge that you need to survive and  to learn from your mistakes, from that you can use as a advantage because you learn the things that they not learn or experience.

In my own opinion, it was not easy to handle regret because the market prices are always changing so it was better to always have good information before selling or investing.
Well business is the game of earning and loosing the money and it is okay if you loose the money because you can use this experience in future to avoid big losses. The loss is as important as the win because it helps model and remodel your strategy. About the current market I would say that if you do not sell right now and keep on holding your coins, ultimately you will be able to minimize your regret as the crypto market strikes a big value.

That's why we should not start a big amount, let's always be realistic and believe that the journey to be reach in crypto is not overnight.
It's a long journey and we need to face problems and challenges along the way because that will make us mature and will help us to make good decision in the future.

We can easily see development is going on with full pace. Then it comes questions what causes the prices to remain this low ? I think large supply and availability on only decentralized exchanges which aren't providing enough liquidity are those reasons. When project will reach in more advanced levels and if centralized exchanges are on the list to get listed there as well situation will be lot better.

Absolutely! Once the token is officially listed by the team on exchanges this will have an impact for sure Smiley
I am contented with the current exchange, no effect if we will list this in a centralize exchange given the market condition.
If that will happen, people will just have more opportunity to dump and we will see a lower price.
4396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TWN - Decentralized News Platform! on: September 03, 2018, 01:53:58 AM
Is KYC needed for bounty or ICO participating?
This is the ANN thread and not the bounty thread, FYI, the bounty is already over.
Actually for people who joined the bounty, they have no chance to dump their tokens right now because there is no exchange that will help to make it possible.
4397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ☑ [ANN] ☰ [ ICO 06|04|2017 ] ☰ Humaniq — Discover the unbanked on: September 01, 2018, 06:51:03 AM
Why Humaniq can’t be everywhere at once: the country expansion process explained

One of the most common questions we receive from the community is why Humaniq is only open in a few countries. The short answer is that we must comply to regulations in every place we operate. In this article, however, we will elaborate on what exactly this means: what are the regulations, and what’s the process like for opening new countries. https://blog.humaniq.co/why-humaniq-cant-be-everywhere-at-once-the-country-expansion-process-explained-97981d4b5173

Interesting read, a lot more goes on behind the scenes than you would think to determine the addition of a country to the platform. Good to see that they are learning with each addition and the process becomes easier for the following additions.

Indeed the team is taking nice step it's worth to read this article well explained from the team and why they heading to new countries one after one. I also believe this will explode very soon they have very solid plan which will drive great value to this project in coming days.
It was the most underestimated project now and no t only in the coming days but more in the future, we can always see how they work and more in behind the camera's that has no exposure but have a great fundamental result when it was release surprisingly.
I agree with that because even if we are in the bull season, we barely see the price skyrocket.
People believe on this project, as well as I am also, but we need time to grow, and definitely we will attract big investors once the development matures.

My shittest investment of 2018. Sucks cos it was either this or aidos kuneen. aidos kunnen have risen from 75 cents to $21 and am left holding my balls with this one.
LOL, that is right mate, so far this investment is not giving us profit and it's like it will take a long period of time before we can even trade
at a better price. Holding this could probably give us a chance to be profitable but the chances are low IMO.

The airdrop is very early today, I guess that is because it's the last distribution of the old system.
I am also glad that the price did not dump like what happen with the previous months when airdrop is coming, it's good for us now.
4400  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How I handle crypto regret on: August 31, 2018, 08:11:08 AM
I have been in this market and I know that regrets Happen regularly in this space. The best and simplest way to handle it is to be disciplined in all you do and follow up on the strategies you have layer down for yourself
That's good and because of your experience it teaches you to be smart, in order to survive, we have to understand the nature of the market.
It's volatile therefore we have to figure out how to make money out of it, as long as we do our research and we don't easily panic, there's always a chance to succeed.
