4381  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe in time travel? and if so where would you go and why? on: February 25, 2017, 12:07:33 PM
If I will be time travelling, I think I will go back at the time that I first heard of bitcoin, I think that is 2010 and start earning or mining them in my mom's PC or our family computer.
I think just after 2 years or maybe now I am very rich or a millionaire, right?
4382  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why you should Buy bitcoin now on: February 25, 2017, 11:50:11 AM
I think buying bitcoin now is a must. I think many people are regretting that they dont buy bitcoin the times that it has the price of a candy. Now it is reaching $1500 and may reach $2000 this year. Buying bitcoin now is a hard thing to do, but if everyone is willing to invest their money in bitcoin, I think its good.
4383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank of Canada calling for Cryptocurrency intervention? on: February 25, 2017, 11:25:41 AM
I like the decentralized bitcoin than the centralized bitcoin. I dont want any banks or government to look all my transactions.
Government really wants to intervene to every action of their citizen, I think they reaally are being a nuisance, I know that they have good intentions but I think it will be really annoying having staffs and employees here in the forum talking about the "order and peace".
Business is business I think.
4384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Asia on: February 25, 2017, 10:52:14 AM
There are people that accept bitcoins and there are not. They are more likely scared of the bitcoin's price which are very predictable. Im am from Asia, and I know bitcoin is really not a hit here. Although many people are using it here. Still changing it to real money.
4385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: who really owns bitcoins in a wallet on: February 25, 2017, 07:40:23 AM
It is your wallet, it is your bitcoin, as simple as that. Miners only permit the transactions of bitcoin but other that, they are nothing. Miners may be the one that get the bitcoin though, when someone sends you a bitcoin, it is yours. They may say it is their property in the past, but now, it is yours. Cheesy
4386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does a President Trump mean for Bitcoin? on: February 25, 2017, 07:36:54 AM
I think the Western world needs to invest in Bitcoin farming, whether with government incentives or not.
And the alts can only stay alive if they are mined.

I think that is right, but the problem is there are only 21 million bitcoins scattered all over the internet, if many miners will mine it, it will be mined empty. I think they better start accepting bitcoin for a start. It will really help scattering mined bitcoins.
4387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as Main Currency on: February 25, 2017, 07:32:44 AM
I strongly agree that in the future bitcoin could be serve as the primary virtual currency that is used throughout the world. The user bitcoin is very much. development and growth also increased rapidly in many sectors.

Yes, that is right, a primary VIRTUAL currency not a primary Currency. Many bitcoin users are taking bitcoin as a stock, saying this Bitcoin will never be a primary currency. But I think Bitcoin now is the primary virtual currency, when someone say digital currency, bitcoin will really punch your mind out if you don't think of bitcoin, it is really popular now you know.
4388  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: February 25, 2017, 07:30:04 AM
I think this bitcoin bank will be a good idea for long term basis because if we have a bank then it will be an attractive idea to save bitcoin and like the traditional banks of fiat, we can use those stored bitcoins to give loans to other and also get interests with our deposits. I hope this bitcoin bank idea will be establish in the future Grin.

I don't think so, Decentralization is one of the best assets of Bitcoin and if we do something like that there will come a time that decentralization may be gone. I don't want any banks holding up my money, it is not that much but I don't really need someone holding my money.
4389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many nodes we need more? on: February 25, 2017, 07:26:50 AM
As far as I know, Nodes are the computer itself that are connected in the Bitcoin network. Saying that it does not help even if it is more nodes. In the nodes are the list of transactions that are being in the run. Hope it helps.
4390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [DotA] Bitcoin Warcraft III DotA Players Ready for Tournaments Here? on: February 24, 2017, 09:41:18 PM
I think dota 2 will be better and we can create quickly more lobbies and chat faster. You can create tournaments in Dota 2 and that is so easy. But I think the tournament is in order and I dont have any shops that warcraft III is available. Damn cant participate.
Ohh, and another thing, you didnt discussed the information of the map. It must be an official map, and must be a recent release of that certain map no bugs and stuffs. What heroes are banned because there are still heroes banned in a tournament.
4391  Economy / Gambling / Re: [DotA] Bitcoin Gaming Warcraft III DotA Players Ready for Tournaments Here? on: February 24, 2017, 09:35:57 PM
This is old school. Come on! Dota 2 now is the game, noone here is playing neither talking about warcraft III. No offense but yeah, warcraft III is the best game because it is the oroginal game but Dota 2 now is the click. But If earning bitcoin through it is true. Ok. Gonna read your post.

4393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and betting?? on: February 24, 2017, 09:22:17 PM
Betting or gambling are two different things in my opinion.
On betting you have influence on how high the chances of winning are.
If you have a clue or knowledge about a game or a team, then your chance is much higher than if you had no information.
When gambling, you have almost no chance of influence except luck.
For the reason I would bet if you have a knowledge about what you are betting for.
Otherwise, I would recommend gambling because it is more fun.

I suppose that you are saying or describing the word analyzing. Thats is certain when you are a sport bettor.
But when you say gambling has almost no chance or luck, that is not right. Sports betting is one of the popular gambles and they use of analysis which is a key to winning though everything may happen with sports, you may still lose even with a good analysis, or even have a draw. Maybe what you are saying is Dice games.
4394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are There Any Regulations for Bitcoin Casinos? on: February 24, 2017, 02:06:48 PM
Are there any regulations or oversight for bitcoin casinos? I think for other online casinos where you have to deposit genuine money, there are some government regulations regulating these casinos. How about bitcoin casinos?

There are countries that have regulations about gambling sites or casinos, some countries are looking for licenses, maybe deduct some taxes from it.
But mostly I think many gambling sites or casinos have regulations neither a license.
4395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: February 24, 2017, 02:01:29 PM
At the beginning I played for profit, but I realised is very hard to make profit. Now,I play only for fun.

Well everyone does, though, if you really experienced the down of gambling you will realize that you must stop gambling because it is a bad thing to your life.
Gambling is all about risks, so when you put your bet into something, you do not say, I am having a profit. But more likely you must say, I put my money into something risky.
4396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you choose casino to play? on: February 24, 2017, 01:57:08 PM
I select the Casinos by looking for their reputation and if they payout immediately or within a couple days. Most places are really shady so the proper research must be made before depositing any money into it.

Yes same here. I am searching them in the internet and reading articles about them (if they have one), but mostly I find them here in the forum and I can have a real suggestions and experiences about that site.
4397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice EdgeBack/Rakeback discussion on: February 24, 2017, 01:49:44 PM
this is great, though what is the percentage of the bitcoin that will be taken back? Lets say the house edge is 1%, then the money that will be taken back is 1% of the money wagered??
4398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: February 24, 2017, 01:43:06 PM
When the person gambles as a hobby, I  think that it's a good thing. If the person loses money and tries getting a winning streak by going all in, then it is reckless and that person shouldn't gamble because it'll only get worse.

Considering gambling as a hobby might cost you more money..  Smiley I don't look at gambling that way, and it looks wrong to me to make it a hobby... Instead, I look at it as a filler, something that I do when all is done and I still want to do something, that's where I might consider gambling, and since it's not my focus, I usually don't give it much amount and effort, I just bet and I'm done, win or lose, I'll leave...   Smiley

I agree, I am also not focussing on my gambling activities and just gambling or fun. And I do use their faucets so I can avoid using my own. Thats why I dont usually win, Ijust use faucet satoshis but the thing is, I am having fun. So dont really take gamblinh as a hobby, I think it is the same as addiction.
4399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: February 24, 2017, 01:37:28 PM
If I win a large sum of money from gambling on accident or something then I would just invest it in something that will appreciate in value over time.

I will do the same too. I will not use all of my winnings to gamble again, i may left some but mostly will be going to be invested in a trusted site or other.
Gambling do not ensure the profit in the future, investing does.
4400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: February 24, 2017, 11:57:03 AM
Neither I, I have not seen winning millions on gambling and became rich, but on the contrary I have seen many looses millions on gambling sites or from casinos it only shows that its more prone to loose than to win.

That may be right, I always visit many gambling sites and from the statistics board, I can see more red line that green line, which means more losses than wins.
But there are lot of gamblers that win a lot and having a fortune from gambling but they are not just really popular. Specially on skill type gambling like poker.
