441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XSH] TOR/i2p, Quantum proof, MN, PoS/PoW, Fully ano, SHIELD on: February 13, 2018, 10:11:26 PM
What is the next function to be implemented? Is not there anything until summer?
Whales are incoming, once that happens it will moon again. I've been in their forums, they are privately discussing buying up XSH

I think traders and investors are waiting for a favorable market condition before plunging into crypto again. Let's just wait, Bitcoin is starting to recover.

Yeah the market is so unstable right now, it's so unpredictable, even with technical analysis it's hard to predict where the market is going right now that's why traders are waiting for the right timing to get in and resume trading. Also in a newcomer's point of view the market looks very scary right now so that's another reason why recently most of the coins' that have a really high potential like shield isn't really going up that much. But as what you said, patience is really the key here, let's just wait for a couple of weeks I'm sure shield will bounce back and hopefully reach another all time high.

Hello devs,

I  try to use  the  web wallet  for storing  ShieLd,  but  it gives me no Private key...  so if  the  website  went down, I could  I  recover  my  shield  coin?

I don't recommend using a web wallet to store shield, with the recent hacks that's been happening in the cyrptocurrency world, it's better to just store your coins in an official wallet where you have the private keys, unfortunately the web wallet will not give you any private keys so to avoid problems it's better to just download the desktop wallet. The wallet is working very well and so far I haven't had any issues with it, it's very fast to sync, easy to set up and very user friendly. So if you want to make sure your shield are safe then use the official desktop wallet, it's so much safer and it guarantees more privacy compared to the web wallet.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Peer Mountain - DECENTRALIZED TRUST FOR ALL on: February 12, 2018, 09:54:45 PM
it looks good, only it doesn't incentive early buyers much. and the cap is adjusted so that as long as there is demand people can buy it. definitely not for flip or short term gains unless it goes under the radar. i like the project and team, solid project.I take my word back it actually incentives early buyers since all rounds have discounts, I thought only round 1 has discounts

It actually does gives a lot of bonuses to early adopters and what makes this project unique from all the other ico currently available right now is that when you join early the minimum amount is just 1 PMT! Currently you can get 2917 PMT per eth, that's very affordable so anyone can invest as little as 1 PMT and still get the bonuses that are available. By doing this, the devs are not limiting the bonuses to really big investors they are making the token sale as versatile as possible meaning everyone who can afford as little as 1 PMT can join. With this move, there will be no whales taking over and controlling the market so everyone has a chance to profit as much even the little guys.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MANA]Decentraland Tokenized VIrtual Reality with Open Standards on: February 12, 2018, 09:23:18 PM
With this project, will users be able to drive the direction of Decentraland? For example, can users set up games to play with other users on land? Or rent out land for a time? Maybe even have quests and things to keep users entertained?

From my understanding, and someone correct me if I'm wrong, it seems like users are able to drive what happens in this world. They are able to do what they want on their own land. If a subset of users want to set up games / quests / whatever, on their own land, then there is no restriction. It's just up to them to get it going. I think that's one thing about this project that I really like is that the sky is the limit.

It seems like it will be more lifelike than RPG like, but I'm sure there will be some flexibility for both. Basically, whatever you can do in the real world they want you to be able to do in the game. Like throwing a concert, or having a group therapy meeting. You could be a therapist, and set up ads for your services to be rendered in game for real cryptocurrency.

I never even thought of those ideas. This is exactly why I'm so excited for this project to grow. It's driven by the users which all have really unique ideas. I doubt this would ever get boring. I wonder if they could create a place for users (maybe a blog or chat room) or something so people could communicate ideas like this and work together to make it happen.

At it's core, I think it's a virtual world of capitalism. If you can think of an idea or service inside the world of Decentraland, you can legitimately make money on it assuming there are enough people. If Second Life is any indicator, there are going to be plenty of people.

Wow I never knew about this as well, but how can you make money? Do people pay you when they get into your land? Or do people pay you for your service?. Yeah second life is a very great comparison to what decentraland is but for me it's more real compared to second life and it's more filled with matured and great-minded people. I really think decentraland will be more popular than second life in the months to come, there's so much things to do with this project that's it's very likely that this project will attract a lot of gamers and a lot of teenagers as well.
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XRB]Cryptocurrency's killer app: RaiBlocks micropayments on: February 12, 2018, 09:13:51 PM
Anyway, good or bad publicity for Nano is good in the end. I'm sorry for those who lost their NANO in Bitgrave. But the signs are there last year. Even last year's FUD about Poloniex, you are warranted to remove all your coins from there.

Never store your wealth with third-parties is time-old crypto advice. Learn to use wallets.

Than where to trade if any exchange suddenly stopped all services and disable the withdraw. I didn't understand what is your advise and what you want to say there this not a solution and we can't make the growth process healthier. We need secure exchange but Bitgrail is dedicated to XRB that is nonprofessional what happened there.

I do understand your frustration but what @scumbust is saying may not be the complete solution for the current problem but it is a good advice though and it can really help avoid problems like this in the future, it's always best not to store a huge amount of money on an exchange and bitgrail as much as we don't want to accept it is a very shady exchange to begin with but because it's one of raiblock's fist exchanges and it was the exchange that works best before, we were blinded by it and avoided the warning signs that was all over the place. We do really need a secure exchange and lucky for us there's kucoin and binance that really has the security that we all deserve. I really hope that the devs will just freeze all the suspicious wallets that have been reported, in that way no stolen coins will be traded in any exchange. I think that will really help us move on from this and also as what you stated make the growth process much healthier.

http://www.firstclassdiscountair.com  - The first fly (affiliate) service that accepts XP

(i don't vouch for any legit - not my site i just share the news i read atm on discord!)

where exactly do they state they accept XP? i'm really curious about this, it would be nice since XP is atm quite a low-key coin.

scroll down

Quite amazing to see that they only accept bitcon and xp as a cryptocurrency. I honestly thought when you first posted it on here they are accepting a variety of cyprtocurrency but I'm quite shocked to see only 2, it seems like this is a really good news for the xp community. Browsing through the site it looks quite legit but it's not very popular from where I'm at though, anybody on here knows about this site before they got partnered with xp? Are they any good? They seem to have quite a good rating in facebook so I hope this news will really help increase the value of xp.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO Completed]💎Gifto - Universal Gifting Platform|30mil Hard Cap💎 on: February 12, 2018, 08:43:58 PM
I think 20-30$ is possible before the end of 2018

Seriously? I think it will be more like $5 or $6, it seems like the development is quite slow for this project but that's okay though steady growth is always better than a sudden growth so I'm not complaining about that. This project has so much potential so I really do believe that the amount that you're talking about is not impossible to achieve but right now it needs to be mass adopted first. Not a lot of people are familiar with gifto, it needs to go beyond asia and it really needs to be marketed properly. I'm not sure if they have a marketing team outside of asia but I think having one will really help the price grow and will definitely help move this project forward.

Actually the project is not slow. I see that recently there is already some updates on the progress of the reports. However, the price action for tokens are very stale recently due to the correction.

Can you expand further on what those recent updates are? I just couldn't find a detailed update on what's currently happening with the project. Yeah I do get you point, there were a lot of tokens that lost almost half of its price due to the current market correction, I'm glad gifto didn't lose that much though I honestly thought that it will also go down 60% from where it previously at but I was wrong, it didn't went down that low. Seeing the current price, it seems like gifto is starting to bounce back I really think this is a very good sign that this project has a really strong team behind it and it's slowly maturing and getting ready for mass adoption.

You're the best mate, you always now how to keep our spirits high. It's nice to see that the dev is still taking an interest on this project and is still doing his best to move this project forward. Reading his messages, it seems like he's just working on this project alone? Didn't he mentioned that he got a team working with him on the development of this project?. I could honestly understand why he is taking so much time to develop this project, but seriously not even one update, like what part of the development he's currently focusing on? Anyway I really do like to applaud you for still being active on this project for always keeping our spirits high! You're one of the reasons why I still believe on this project, if it wasn't for you and your updates I'm sure a lot of people have already let go of their tokens.
thanks mate
I really appreciate your comment💝💝💝💝
Will always do my best to hope the hope alive, as I strongly believe that one day, we all will smile forgetting totally how long we waited 💪💪😂😂

You're welcome mate, you deserve to be appreciated, you may not notice it but what you're doing is very important to the community. It gives us all hope that there is still something we should all look forward to. I really hope you'll never stop doing this to the community mate, just continue in spreading positivity and keeping us all updated on what's been going on with the project. I'm sure almost everyone on here appreciate what you're currently contributing to this project. I really hope so, I hope the wait will be worth it in the end. I hope all holders will be smiling by the end of 2018.

go Vote! And buy some xp before   Grin

Yeah I've collected some, I actually entered when xp was around 13 sat each so seeing the price drop was very unfortunate for me but that doesn't bother me though I didn't sold a thing and I honestly believe in xp's potential. It just sucks that right now it's still stuck on very small volume exchanges but events like this can really help boosts xp's value and can also help xp reach a larger market. I just hope that xp will win this one, it needs to be a part of a very popular and solid exchange.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Credits(CRDS): CPU-only mining | Argon2d PoW - Masternodes on: February 09, 2018, 06:24:41 PM
I've been reading through this thread and these ICO posters seem a little off to me. They all come in waves, their conversations always feels weird and artificial, and not a one of them ever goes "oh sorry wrong thread" like a normal human would. Has a mod looked into this to see if something shady is going on?

Bots!

Yeah, clearly bots. Lots of airdrops require posting in the thread etc., so perhaps that is a default behaviour of bots now. But I agree, it is a bit annoying, perhaps some admin could clean up this thread a bit Smiley

Yeah those kind of airdrops are the reason why I currently have a red tag tsk tsk, always avoid airdrops like that folks if you don't want to end up like me anyway these bots are so annoying, but they are talking with sense though and not just posting some random words. I think someone is trying to target this project, the number of newbie and jr. member accounts on this thread is worrying me a little, in an investor's point of view reading posts like this on this thread kind of gives a negative impact to this project. It gives a very scammy vibe to this project which is quite unfortunate knowing how hard working the devs are and how dedicated the community is in bringing this project to the top.

annnnnnnnnnnnnnnd market down again today on grail, man what a fucking shit site lmao.
i mean sure many of us did well last 6+ months on it but since xrb blew up it's only become worse to use the site, wtf!
also so they not check support tickets?!?!?
wanna get all coin off and shut down acct asap.

Yeah bitgrail used to be great mate, it has fast deposits and fast withdrawals but now the site is basically useless. Ever since the news about binance bitgrail started going down, they started imposing mandatory account verification and I heard people from Asia couldn't verify themselves on the site. I'm not that sure regarding this information but I've read a lot of people talking about it. I think they do check support tickets but lately they have gotten a lot of support tickets so it takes them so much time to even reply to one and I think their team couldn't handle the amount of tickets they get in a daily basis. As a friendly advice mate, I think you should get all your coins out of that exchange while it's still early, there are a lot of better exchanges out there, kucoin works very well for me so I recommend using that one instead of bitgrail, the site couldn't be trusted anymore mate too many issues at the moment.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MANA]Decentraland Tokenized VIrtual Reality with Open Standards on: February 09, 2018, 05:30:32 AM

ATTENTION! SCAM WARNING!

1. Where is a downloadable client? (Or it just promises before scamming)
2. Where is a registration of decentraland site? (There is only poor "blog.decentraland.org". This is just a blog, this is not user's registration form)
3. Where is an official forum of decentraland? (There is only poor "wiki.decentraland.org".This is just a wiki-page, this is not forum)
4. Where is a legal regulations documents? (Or this project - is just for lulz?)
5. Where is developers biography? (Never heard of them)
6. Why such suspectly inflated prices for parcels? (secondary virtual scam? really unique scam)

They will run away with your money - we warns you

Very interesting points you've stated here mate, but I think asking the devs themselves first will be a better way in handling this situation then jumping directly into conclusions. I do understand your confusion but I think you should ask the devs themselves on twitter they're pretty active on there. Regarding your question about the developers biography though it's pretty clear on the site who they are, their past works and what they previously achieved. You can browse their profiles on linkedin and you can search their names online, they seem to be pretty legit. I just think before accusing a project as a scam, you should make a detail information on why you think so and not just present questions that way your information will be more valid and will be more look into.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Peer Mountain - DECENTRALIZED TRUST FOR ALL on: February 09, 2018, 05:11:37 AM
What is this KYC3 I keep seeing in the roadmap? I believe it's integral for me to understand its relationship to the main body which governs Peermountain development and direction.

Basically it's a platform that provides a fast and efficient way for business owners to find kyc information regarding their users or regarding other buisenesses as well. The site's been online since 2013 and based on what I've read it's been doing quite a good job, I heard the platform is fast and it's very reliable, it's been used by a lot of reputable Swiss and German companies before so that's quite a good sigh that the team is highly suited to bring this project to the top. The KYC3 platform is very integral to this project because basically what this project do is it helps users protect their privacy and it also helps users share their information the most efficient way possible, once the users will provide their personal information in the peer mountain app, it will be integrated in the KYC3 platform so whenever a company will ask for your information or whenever you want to sign up on an ico that requires KYC, this project will do that job for you.

In other words, PeerMountain will be the third party who will authenticate your identity and your reputation without revealing private information to another party. Thanks.

By the way, are you a scammer? Your trust rating is red.

Exactly that's what peer mountain is all about, it protects your data and gives you the security your deserve. With peer mountain you don't have to worry about your private information getting stolen because they provide the most secure and cost-effective way possible to protect their users personal information. And another cool thing, every time you verify your information you get tokens as a reward so you can protect your privacy and earn some money at the same time, nothing is way better than that.

Anyway regarding my red tag, I'm not a scammer nor did I took money from anyone. I just got into a very unfortunate situation I joined a group on telegram that's mainly for bumping threads, I didn't know what that group was all about back then so I just joined it. I never participated but my name was on their list because I joined the group so fast forward I got a red tag (see reference) anyway that doesn't mean that everything that I say can't be trusted, I strongly believe on this project, I really think that this project will be big someday, if you will take a minute of your day and look into this project you'll realize that the team is very hardworking and they already have a beta released so there's already a working product here and if you look at their partnered companies, it's quite big and very capable to help in bringing this project to the top. You can follow this project's medium page to read about the current updates and why peer mountain is something worth your time.
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 💰🚀[ANN][100% AIRDROP] CataloniaCash - Support & Decentralize Independence!🚀💰 on: February 07, 2018, 10:55:34 PM
Is there a way to know those that got or were successful in the airdrop?
for what you are still expecting CATA coins .. this coin is dead, and there is no point you are here ,, no information whatsoever here .. if you want CATA coins, i can give you my coins

There will no point in sending your coins though, az4ureal will probably not need it. It really doesn't have any value, sending the tokens have more value than the token itself. It's just unfortunate that the dev didn't show up anymore, this project could really change the way protesting works but they just seem to abandon it and not care anymore. I really thought that this project will move forward and will further develop into an amazing movement but I was so wrong. I just hope that the dev is alright though and I hope one day he/she could remember this project and one day maybe bring it back to life.
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MANA]Decentraland Tokenized VIrtual Reality with Open Standards on: February 07, 2018, 10:48:07 PM
I'm really excited about the new land manager that is just released in beta. I think this will be really convenient to see our parcels while also being able to sell them to others. Cheesy  Good progress!

Thanks for mentioning the Decentraland land manager. I didn't even hear about it and don't remember if it was in the roadmap (then again, this is one of many projects I'm trying to keep up with). It looks extremely convenient if you have MetaMask. Literally all you do is just go to land.decentraland.org and you can view your land in relation to everyone else's.

I have a question: if I want to buy land or sell land, how do I start a land transaction?

Not from the team but I've been looking into the land manager. Basically, to sell land you go to your land parcels using the sidebar and then click the transfer button next to it. You then put the address of who you are sending it to and click transfer.

Wow thanks for this information mate I never thought it's as easy as that, I've been searching everywhere regarding this and I'm so glad that I found the answer. I really hope this project will get a lot of attention though, it seems very interesting and very user friendly. It just doesn't really have that much big of a community, when I have questions regarding this project I have to look through a lot of google search just to find the result, it took me almost 2 days to know how to do a land transaction if you didn't mention it here I think it will take me longer lol. Anyway is there a telegram group? I really want to be a part of the community.

We have developed an android app solely for Nanocurrency which extract all latest news and updates related to Nano (XRB) from different media sources, reddit, twitter etc.

It also has inbuilt browser where you can browser coinmarketcap page of Nano and get real time price & other statistics, block explorer included, download wallets from nano official site etc.

All external pages are loaded within app except web wallet and discord chat page but we don't show ads on those external page to respect owner of respected sites.

We haven't uploaded this app on play store till now but you can try this by downloading .apk file from URL below or you can also download .zip version from which you can extract apk file using winrar in your android phone.

Is there a source code for this? I'm not accusing of anything but at this day and age, one must be careful of using stuff like this that could be a "man-in-the-middle-attacker" that could steal private keys when accessing the web wallet.

Yeah I think people should just be careful and not access their web wallet through any third party website. It seems like the person who created this has no intention in stealing private keys but just to be safe I think there should be a pop up warning to all users to not access their web wallet though the app when launching the app I think that will really help secure the wallet of nano users. Anyway I've just downloaded the app and it seems really useful, it really gives a lot of information regarding nano and it helps users keep up with the recent news and development of nano with just their mobile phones. This can really help a lot of users save time when looking for updates and it is also a huge time saver when it comes to looking at the real time price of nano in all three exchanges. Overall I applaud the guys that made this, they really made it easier for a lot of us to keep up with this project. I hope an ios version will be release soon.

The company is in talks with 30 exchanges.. they will have some announced to launch with then add more later. No exact names been shared yet.

This is great news, seeing posts like this just warms my heart. I really think that credits right now is just so undervalued and not a lot of people are noticing its potential. I strongly believe that what credits needs right now is a proper exchange to get listed on, if credits will get added on an exchange that has a really good volume then this project could really moon and get notice by a number of investors. I really hope that this coin will be added on a good volume exchange pretty soon maybe kucoin, credits deserves to be traded there, it has the potential to do really good in the market.

"Community Coins Voting" https://bitindia.co/vote.html

Nice to see that xp is getting a lot of support from the community. I'm not familiar with that exchange though, is it any good? And how's the volume there?. Anyway it's great that xp is getting recognition from a couple of exchange, I think xp getting added on this list is a very good way to promote this project, people looking at this list and voting for their favorite coin will get an idea on what xp is and what it is all about. I'm sure new people that are not that familiar with xp will take an interest on this project seeing the current votes that it got. I just have a question though when did the voting start?
