Im using ccminer alexis78. I was under the impression it was the best. When i cut it back to the same clocks as you have with this miner it only gives me 865h/s. Do you think i just have a slow/duff 1080 or would changing to a different miner or different drivers help up my hashrate a bit?

thanks

Try change miner and see if any difference.

Seems odd if it could differ that much from diffrent brands of 1080ti cards. Unless its the FE versiom you using?

What are you guys using to underclock your memory? Ive been using afterburner but the lowest i can put it is -502. It runs ok at that but maybe theres more to be saved by dropping it a bit further. For some reason everyone else seems to hash slightly higher than me too. At 110 power limit +150 and -502 all i can get is 920h/s . But im running at around 240w which is too high.

What miner are you using? My cards are doing 970 with 75% tdp, +120core and ´-502 mem using ccminer 1.1 palginmod.

I could tell the price was up when I checked supernova pool this morning. Lots of miners mining zen at the moment.

Hello Folks,

I have for you again a very good information.

There is a Zcash Fork called Zero. This Coin is better than Zcash and you do not have to pay 20% to the developer.
At the moment he is completely underestimated because hardly anyone knows him.

You can take 10 - 12 coins a day with a GTX 1080 Ti
With a GTX 1070 between 4 - 6 coins.

There is a huge potential in this coin,
I can only recommend you to jump on the train.

It's a real community coin

 Wink

What makes you think this coin have great potential? Checking the ANN and coinmarketcap it seems this is a dead coin on its way to "zero".

And 10-12 coins a day is only $2-2.5 with todays price. Way to high risk to mine and you might end up with a bag full of zero...

They are all doing 800 Sols with a bit less than 140 watts each power draw (750W for the entire rig including system overhead), and operating in a 90° F (32° C) environment, so not unduly cool by any means.

What miner are you using? Your stats sounds incredible. My cards are running over 200w at 75% with 120 overclock and they are only doing 720sols.

what is the hastrate for 1080ti ? I'm thinking to get the new Sp mode , and is there a calculator for verge blake2s ?
and what pool do you recommend other than zpool

If you have a lot of GPU's and make hundreds of dollars a day from mining, sure buy it, otherwise it make no sense paying $200 for sp_mod.

After 24 hours of mining skein and nist5 algo auto converting to BTC I can report that each card making around $6 a day.

75% TDP

+120 core
Can you please give a link to the miner.
I used alexis vs ~1000mh per 1080 ti and 50% of time it worked normally. Now it shows same 7000mh per 7 cards rig,but on the pool side its 3.700 only.

I'm using alexis-1.1 palginmod. Don't have a link for it but im sure google knows:)

I've noticed that the pool sometimes shows lower mh/s as well...What was your earnings per card?

455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Signatum, a good investment? on: August 09, 2017, 11:43:50 AM
NO signatum is a scam . its the same scam by previous scammer Crowetic.
He was a dev of Qora and Burst, he promised a lot of qora and burst updates in the past 12 months, do read his bitcoin talk posts
qora had 0 development and it was pumped and dumped by him and ciyam on poloniex on fake promises. eventually it got delisted.

Now burst will get delisted from polo soon as well and it was pumped from 50 to 800 sats by him

Now he got into signatum scam and is pumping it right now, hes a well known scammer

this is his twitter profile https://twitter.com/crowetic

be careful and dont fall for scams

Is this "Jason Crowe" the founder/main dev of signatum?

457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: July 02, 2017, 05:39:27 PM
Do you guys only lowering the TDP for optimal efficiency? Or do you actually change the voltage? If so, how?

My settings now are:

TDP: 75%

Core: +130

Memory: +100

Fan speed: 70

Temperature is between 55-65 for 3 cards mining ZEC, 730-750 sol.

Not sure how to messaure the watt usage since the miner I use don't show it.
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 8 pin to dual 8 pin (6+2) on: June 29, 2017, 05:03:14 AM

The splitter cables are fine and way cheaper than getting more cables from manufacturers. I use them for my 1080ti FE farm. Even when at 120% TDP, they never feel warm.
I'm sourcing several items (risers, mobos, this pcie splitter etc) from factories and selling them in an online shop soon.

I just ordered these cables https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1PCS-High-Quality-8-Pin-Male-to-Dual-8-Pin-6pin-2pin-MalePower-Cable-for-Video/32781960558.html?spm=2114.13010608.0.0.xQWXdg

It's 8 pin to dual 8 pin cables 18AWG. But according to people in this thread its a bad idea to run a 1080ti with just one of those splitter cables?

I just going to try and see what happends, hopefully it dosen't get to hot.
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can I use 8 pin to double 6+2 pin connector for 1080ti? on: June 28, 2017, 04:53:38 PM
Just buy a better PSU!

Although, in theory the PCIE slot can also provide up to 75W Smiley

I got this PSU http://silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=321&area=en

So you saying there are other ones with more 8pin connections?

I use the provided 2 x 6 pin into 1 x 8 pin 'Y' cable with the cards.

But then again my cards are heavily power limited (150 watts instead of 300).

8-pin is rated at 150 watts and 6-pin is rated at 75 watts so on paper, limiting to 225 watts should be completely fine.

I wouldn't try it on a multi rail PSU though.

Okey i see. I run my cards right now (only 2 connected) at 220-230w. So if i would use one 8 pin to dual 8 pin cable for each card I would only be able to run 150w as well without risking melting the connections? But the risers give some power as well right?

A cable like this i was thinking about to power each card:
