441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Superstition on: November 08, 2017, 07:06:27 AM
I just wanna know if you guys are supertitious when playing or gambling?

I will admit I'm very supertitious when going to a land based casino. Grin
1. I choose the number of parking slot that I will park. Usually it should have my favorite number 111,777 etc.
2. I don't want to wait for someone if he or she is going to go with in the casino.
3. I wear the same shirt that I won big.

And a lot more..

How about you? are you sepertitious?  Smiley

It's just normal for. It works more like a mind conditioning but it doesn't really affect your chances of winning. It's better to have a positive aura because you'll going to lose much more if you feel bad for yourself.
442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you feel when win in gambling? on: November 08, 2017, 06:48:52 AM
When I win, I feel I want more of it and I think I can much more. That is the critical situation that I hate  because my greed is controlling me instead of stopping and taking home the profit.
443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you like slot games ? on: November 08, 2017, 06:32:53 AM
Yes because compared to all the game in casino or online, slot games are the less stressful game that I acually enjoy. You are just like a child playing with colorful images.
444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The gambler destroyed on: November 08, 2017, 06:18:16 AM
Op who said they already know how to outsmart gambling sites wants to sell his strategy. Why would you sell it if you'll be crazy rich because of your technique? Doesn't make sense right? because it is really not working  for sure.
445  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-03] Bitcoin is $7500 on: November 07, 2017, 08:00:47 AM
I THINK there will be a decline after the fork

They know it and I can't wait after that because my altcoins will be revived again after a long slaughter and it's the time to shift the attention back to them.
446  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-10-23] The Wolf of Wall Street Thinks Some ICOs Are 'The Biggest Scam Ever on: November 07, 2017, 07:31:08 AM
I couldn't agree more. They make something up and people are led to believe that it is going to be thing in the future by using "blockchain" and a whole lot of jargons.
447  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-05]Deutsche Bank:Reign of Fiat Money Will Soon End, Will BTC Take Over? on: November 07, 2017, 07:05:36 AM
I don't agree. I think we still need in fiat because there are certain situations that crypto does not fit. Bitcoin won't work to small time business like a small family store near a community whenever a person wants to buy a drink, shampoo or a piece of candy.
448  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: What are the main Bitcoin scams and how do you protect yourself against them? on: November 07, 2017, 06:28:40 AM
The first I encountered and still exist are hyips, doublers and profit sharing sites. I was once a victim of these kind of things but now I ignore them right away. The best protection is always awareness.
449  Other / Off-topic / Re: world without bitcoins......!!!1 on: November 07, 2017, 06:07:11 AM
One thing for sure, we never will see world without bitcoins again )

Yes. I am sure that these big names accusing bitcoin as a fraud will not succeed to extinguish bitcoin from this world. They are too late and even if they try harder, it is still impossible.
450  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What are you looking to buy in BitcoinTalk Marketplace? on: November 02, 2017, 07:07:15 AM
I want to buy a limited edition shirt or merchandise that bitcointalk.org is selling because I know that this forum will become a legend on day and I want to feel that I am a part of it.
451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: November 02, 2017, 03:21:47 AM
Because all people wants to be filthy rich and the greed fuels it more so once we tasted a sweet little victory from gambling or lose then we get addicted more and more.
452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: November 02, 2017, 02:53:40 AM
I believe everyone does that but because emotions comes in, we find it hard to keep ourselves from gambling again. There are people that hates losing just like me so I'll play again to recover my loss even I said to myself that this is the only amount I'm going to use.
453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can gambling help you with your life? on: November 02, 2017, 02:38:26 AM
Hey! Good day i really need some answers because its about gambling in your life and other people are playing for it with heart and i just thought that how can gambling help you with your life? and do you gain something from it? does it help you to be wise or worst your attitude will change.. i need answers please!

Help and gambling are the words that cannot both exist in a sentence. All of the stories I heard from gambling are from people who got depressed and even commit suicide after losing all their money.
454  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience and Holding on: November 01, 2017, 08:10:32 AM
Ive been wrong that i withdraw all my earnings on trading ..
i learned that ..must have patience in holding then exchanging it times 10 from the day I bought my alts..
hmm .. too bad for me now bitcoins is still aiming high ..

Yeah I know that it's really struggle because I also experience the same thing. I learned from that mistake but if you but if you think about it, it really ain't bad because you still gain profits from it.
455  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how control my emotion?? on: November 01, 2017, 07:41:54 AM
Sometimes you can't really avoid those situations when you put up a big amount on a coin so the only thing I can say is diversify all of it so there's a balance that in case the other altcoins will fall, the rest are rising.
456  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: November 01, 2017, 07:13:27 AM
No. If I'm just going all the way with bitcoin, then I'm just going to be impatient with the profits. It's risky to invest in altcoins but I did it because the profit is much quicker than in btc.
457  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: job and trading together.. on: November 01, 2017, 06:50:27 AM
I think I can earn limited amount of money every month. I want to invest my money in trading. How can I get a good
a good amount profit every month??How I research the market? How to find out the good coin to invest? Thanks in advance ....

First if you only have a small amount  of time that you can give then choose only altcoins that are for long-term holding and second you can only get a good profit every month, if you are focused on trading and that means quitting your day job.
458  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bittrex or Poloniex. which one do you like to trade? on: November 01, 2017, 06:19:10 AM
I have an account in Poloniex but it only has few coins that you can trade unlike Bittrex that you have many selections which I really like. Bittrex doesn't also give me headaches like those technical issues that happens in polo.
459  Economy / Speculation / Re: Be careful. (Newbies and others ...) on: October 24, 2017, 08:39:12 AM
After reading a lot of perma-bullish postings in this speculation forum, I only want to issue a little warning. Not as a professional trader, but a guy that has been here since 2013.

Be careful! I think we are near the top of a bubble. Don't invest what you cannot afford to lose.

That is valid for Bitcoin and most altcoins at the same time. I think we have overheated - mostly due to the speculation on the Segwit activation - and now we must go down a bit. Probably the rest of the year will be bearish or a sideways market.

What doesn't that "warning" mean?
- It doesn't mean that Bitcoin will go instantly to zero. My prediction is that it will go to $3000, until late October but then, depending on the news, we can go lower (in a worst case scenario, to about $1000).
- It doesn't even mean that $4970 was the top (although I consider it likely). There could be another bullish "leg". But it will most likely be the last one of the year, and I don't think it will reach $10.000.
- It does not mean that "Bitcoin is a bubble". Bitcoin is useful and a great project. But it cannot increase permanently in price. Sometimes there is profit taking, or also a little bit of panic.

Why do I think that the "bubble" ended?
- Bitcoin's price has increased about 30 times in this bullish cycle which started in late 2014 at $135. That is HUGE.
- Adoption by retailers and other real world shops has not increased according to the price increase (in fact, I think we're at the same level than in 2013/14).
- China has strongly restricted ICOs a few days ago. That will lower the demand a bit, although it's not catastrophic, maybe.
- In November, there could be a dangerous hard fork, separating the main development team (Bitcoin Core) from a large part of the Bitcoin economy (miners, Bitpay, Coinbase) on different chains.

Draw your own conclusions. I'm a bit in bearish mood now. I'm still a long term bull Smiley

I think the moral of this post is that we see a lot of people in this forum, especially newbies, getting too excited about rising prices. Those are the first to panic and sell after the first dip. This is a highly volatile market and it is even more volatile for most altcoins. Every investor should be aware of that and not be surprised if it goes down as fast as it goes up.

Newbies are mostly the types who are in a hurry to make much money without thinking.  It happened to me when I was starting and had no idea about everything so I hope they'll avoid those kinds of wrong practices.
460  Economy / Speculation / Re: what will you do? on: October 24, 2017, 08:22:17 AM
Right now, it's very unlikely to happen but in case it does, I will make a massive buy like everyone else will do. It was already cheap when the China fud happens and it was below $4k but I don't think bitcoin will ever fall to that price again next year.
