441  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Will Bitcoin reach 10k by the end of the year 2017? on: October 24, 2017, 03:10:04 AM
Bitcoin has been volatile but it reached 6.2K few days and retraced back to 5800 (current posting 10/23/2017).  Do you think we will see 10K by end of this year?

Finally a sensible topic to our local section. Anyway, back to the topic, I doubt it will reach 10k this year, possible is around 8-9k$ this year. But who knows, I remember early august, madaming nag ddoubt magging 4k$ value ni btc, then boom after the fork, biglang taas pa din
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Problem of nowadays ICOs on: October 24, 2017, 01:53:40 AM
Don't you think that the problem of ongoing and upcoming ICOs is not the quality of projects (certainly there are scam projects, but there are also a great deal of really working projects backed with technology) but the problem is in the quality of investors who don't really make their research and mostly even don't care do read anything about the project they are going to invests in. They are in rush to buy any altcoins because it seems to be an easy way to make money for them.. What do you think?

Yes, that's one factor as well. Buying or investing into a project without total knowledge will affect to situation of an ICO. Look those dumpers, it's very common in trading. After a coin hit the trading, they will immediately sell their coins since they have no knowledge how good the future of coins they have. But still for me, great factor are the bad projects nowadays.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best ongoing or upcoming Pre-ICO token sale on: October 24, 2017, 01:47:39 AM
I have invested in Electroneum Smiley good project and projection by the community. alot of incoming ICO's so we need to make further research and be wise where to use every single penny we have. Will subscribe to this thread and check for other reviews.

444  Economy / Reputation / Re: What the hell, i only bought this account and now lauda give me neg trust on: October 23, 2017, 01:49:11 AM
Like what i said i dont have any knowledge that buying account to someone will give bad reputation to this account.
If i only knew it ,i will not admit that i bought this account. This is the only account that i have. Dont know whats wrong with those members who give me negative trust, they think this doing will make them famous?

Well mate it seems that the seller just scammed you as well. He didn't explain further that buying account is strictly prohibited, at least to some trust members like Lauda. It isn't against the rule (afaik) but from the past, buying account is being used by most to scam other members. There's an old saying "ignorance of law, excuses no one".

I would suggest you to contact the seller and ask for a refund if he will still refund you.
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: onG Social Media!! The Next Facebook? on: October 23, 2017, 01:38:29 AM
I don't see any discussion or insights about onG social so i'll start one. I actually invested on its ICO since the idea is really promising.
Will it be the next big thing and take over Social media and Facebook? What do you guys think

If this media platform will offer a unique idea, it can compete FB and other social media platforms. But expect that it will take long and tooo much time before community adapts it.
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LATEST: Update on AUTHORSHIP (ATS) [NEWEST!!! OCTOBER 21, 2017] on: October 22, 2017, 11:49:24 PM
I don't understated, why you think that ATS is gold? What is so special in it? It have rank 337 at coinmarketcap. No team. And many other questions
We only mean gold as just similar to a money maker. It's a unique concept and will be having beta testing on the product by November. It will be having a real product and not just a promise. I still don't understand how CMC ranking works but I care about the real value. There is a team and just not disclosed but the CEO and CDO are disclosed.

How can you have faith in a dev who doesn't understand CMC and real value? Also I see no mention of scamming 50% of the bounty campaign members on your road map. That's a key point people would like to be aware of, I assure you. Seriously how do they sleep know they fucked over they very people they set out to help. "They have moved on" WTF scum of the earth. The devs are the only ones who made money on this venture. Blood money.

If I may ask, are you an investor? Or just someone who joined the airdrop?

Because if you are an investor that invested real cash from your pocket and savings, this below the belt rant is too much acceptable. But if you just someone who joined the airdrop and knew what happened to their campaign, you should be able to understand it. It's hard yes, but to say something like this, can you still sleep with those filthy words? Don't make airdrop as a living, and finally behave like a grown up man.

Here's your milk and candy baby boy.
447  Economy / Services / Re: [VOUCH] Oct 22 • Premium Porn Sites access. on: October 22, 2017, 02:24:09 PM
I am afraid you post this on a wrong section. You may check Marketplace Digital Goods and post this on that section
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Instead of an ICO, might this work? on: October 22, 2017, 01:41:43 PM
I don’t understand why you would need your own currency for that? Why not launch your product, sell it and accept whatever means of payment you’re comfortable with? Maybe I’m missing something?

A strategy I guess. To make it "exclusive" and force users to patronize their service without going to another merchant/s. Just like other ICO projects. I maybe wrong and please enlighten me if I missed anything as well.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Is Really A Good Investment or Not? on: October 22, 2017, 11:26:06 AM
Definitely ICO is STILL a good investment in my own opinion. But you need to be vigilant, make your intense research especially if huge money involve. There are so many ICO's and reported scam so better check the community before considering to invest in an ICO.
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: community or money? on: October 21, 2017, 02:27:01 PM
What do they want the most?
Do u think these companies only want money and innovation?
Or do u think they are thinking about what the community wants aswell?

I would bet ALL of then wants money. Who don't want it right?.  It will be a fool to say that they are doing it for charity. But some also looking for the benefit of the community while they are eraning money, it's like 50-50.  That's why you need to consider the support group or target group of a project before thinking of investing to it
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your take on Electroneum? Is it a another Bitcoin in the making? on: October 20, 2017, 10:11:33 PM
I invested in ETN as well but I don't think it will be the next BTC. Or I am looking that high with this token. But no one knows!. Anyway, etn focuses on one niche and has a target users/people. Unlike btc, everything unser the sun that uses crypro, there will always be a btc Cheesy
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LATEST: Update on AUTHORSHIP (ATS) [NEWEST!!! OCTOBER 5, 2017] on: October 20, 2017, 10:05:53 PM
It is really annoying that after the hardwork of ATS team there are still some who are very stubborn. There are people in social media who spam rantikg about why ATS isn't still in 0.015 per token
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Favourite coin so far on: October 18, 2017, 12:45:40 PM
Just purchased 2 ETH of ETN Smiley This coin is very promising and looking forward for the potential of this coin and the project itself. This is my first time to invest in ICO and I hope this coin will bring a good luck to me so I can new "favorite" coin to my list  Cheesy
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why does no one pay ETH for services? on: October 17, 2017, 11:10:56 PM
After reading the comments in different topics I see that there really are no other ways of earning ETH, except for mining, buying or faucets. But this is strange for me. For example, why do projects raise such large ETH amounts during the ICOs, but pay for services only with their tokens or, in rare cases, bitcoins? (I mean the bounty campaigns). Or why people invest so much ETH, but there are no services on Bitcoin Talk for which they pay ETH? What's the secret? Undecided

There's no secret, maybe because the reason is the community already used to two types of payment, "BTC" and "Tokens". But there's no rule where managers, services can't accept ETH. Most managers from services section are accepting btc since it's easy to convert to real cash same with participants. And most are accepting tokens due to value when it hit the exchange platform.

P.S- There are many freelancers here are accepting payment with Eth like in Banner, Signature creation, ANN Thread creation. etc.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LATEST: Update on AUTHORSHIP (ATS) [NEWEST!!! OCTOBER 5, 2017] on: October 17, 2017, 12:23:13 AM
No real buy orders right now. Seems like everyone are just waiting to dump   Undecided
That's fine for me as it still is the first day and it will gain traction soon.

Does anyone know if you have to pay Gas fees to trade etc?
HitBtc is classic exchange, so you don't need to pay gas for trading. Trade is executed immediately. You only pay fee when withdrawing from exchange.

Hey bud, my apologies but I am not familiar with HitBTC. You said "You only pay fee when withdrawing from exchange.", does this mean we should also have like an excess amount of Eth or BTC to our HitBTC account? or it will deduct the transaction fee from the total tokens you'll be withdrawing?

For Example:

I only have 75 ATS in my MEW then will transfer it to HitBTC. Will HitBTC exchange deduct the fee automatically from my 75ATS? or should I need to have spare amount on my account?

I hope I explained it well and would appreciate any response. thank you Smiley
456  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Finally philipine will start to draft a law to legalize bitcoin on: October 16, 2017, 06:59:16 AM
The Bangko sentral ng pilipinas will now start to draft a law to legalize the bitcoin in the philipines. Do you think this step of the goverment will be benificial or not to the bitcoin user ?
See below statement.

Please share your thoughts?

bakit nabaon itong thread sa dulo? Kung ano pa yung mayt SENSE NA TOPIC yun pa ang hindi napapansin. and kakahanap ko ng matinong topic nakita ko ito.

Back to the topic. I read the article fast, hindi ko napansin kung may link included about the guidelines of BSP, I might read it again later.

457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LATEST: Update on AUTHORSHIP (ATS) [NEWEST!!! OCTOBER 5, 2017] on: October 16, 2017, 03:53:32 AM
A newbie question:

How can I withdraw my ATS tokens from myetherwallet. TIA.

As far as I know, only Etherdelta is the exchange where ATS is currently listed. You can register your MEW to Etherdelta and make an exchange on it. However, I don't recommend to exchange now since the price is really low from what they have said before the airdrop (ideally 0.15$)/ I would suggest to hold t first and wait until it pumps up on the market. Additionally, devs are continously adding better exchanges. I don't prefer Etherdelta actualy  Cheesy

459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: October 16, 2017, 01:12:58 AM
What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ?  Shocked

Did credit card removed the traditional money, no right? Same with cryptocurrency. There's no possibility that traditional money will be vanished in market. Cryptocurrency will be an "alternative" that can be used to purchased goods online and eventually from physical stores. And where the people will get funds to bitcoin? From converting traditional money to digital currency. So I doubt and there's a slight chance traditional money will be replaced with digital currency
460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jesus Coin? on: October 15, 2017, 11:12:18 PM
Of course this completely a joke. Lets check the name first, we have different beliefs here, Christians, Muslims, etc etc even Atheist. We all agreed that this is something that "Jesus" shouldn't be used in any coin or what or any religious personality. I think the purpose they had was to have a coin that's catchy but it turned out not.
