Not to get the fake altcoin it is much better to deal only with the most popular cryptocurrencies. However, some people consider Bitcoin Gold something like a scam. I do not know about it as I do not hold BTG. |

I think buy or invest for altcoin that is already listed in the best trade. like those already registered in poloniex. binance or others. so your money does not just disappear.

Yes, Right now the market is not as matured as the equity ones. Once the market matures like when there are widely traded derivatives and ETFs on the exchanges it will become extremely difficult to manipulate the market. These along with regulations will mutere the trading market and thus less fluctuations in the prices. But this will take a lot of time like 5 years from now.
I have a belief that in future, the cryptocurrencies will be not so volatile. It is really not easy now to pick the coins to invest in as you cannot predict their prices. |

I have always believed on Elixir since the beggining, i am holding since last november when it was less than $0,50. It went to $2,30 very fast, i am happy because i sold a part of my budget in that bullrun.

I think it will be smarter if you invest it in an ICO. But not just any other ico. Should be hyped, good team, good reviews ICO. Then that would easily double your money instead of just holding
I suppose the better choice will be the investment in many good alts. I am not sure that ICO proposition is the best one. You can get EOS, TRON, and IOTA. Cardano and NEM coins are also great and they will cost more soon. |

My suggestion you as a beginner better read more about the world of crypto. So you better understand more than you know. For the coin you have, you better see bitcoin market price. If the price goes up, you can sell it partly and keep it partially. Because if you sell all your coins I think it's not good considering that bitcoin is fluctuating.
Before starting trading, each newbie should spend really much time to get acquainted with the market, its rules and regulations. I think it will be cool to read books on the cryptocurrency and watch videos about it. |

Maybe if bitcoin is gone a lot of coin will crash or gone too but I think somehow there's a some way to survive other coin even without bitcoin. And I think bitcoin will not gone because bitcoin is a main coin of all coin. Hope, Bitcoin will not die. I am almost sure that it will not happen. true, banks is still essential today even if cryptos are soaring today, because not everything can buy and paid in bitcoin, we need banks for conversions of bitcoin to fiats in less fees, there are other purposes of banks that bitcoin cannot cater like housing loan, car loan ,business loan and salary loans, we still need banks, we can live with it up to now, we are ok with cryptos and banks co-existence. Maybe people that will use the cryptocurrency will not deal with the banks so actively but most of us will have these services. Banks will not disappear. |
