441  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is a game of quantity on: March 23, 2022, 12:07:04 PM
Unlike other general asset that depends on quality to quantify it's value, bitcoin makes more sense based on how many btc you have not just how much of it. The earlier investors come to appreciate bitcoin based on it's own personal value not based on it's fiat value the better for their investment skill. The goal when it comes to bitcoin investment should be focused more on owning more coin not even on what the price is in relation to fiat
-snip-

Long-term investors and large institutional investors are exactly what you wrote about. They are the ones who buy up all the coins, hoarding them, regardless of price or market conditions, buying for years, maybe even decades. They will never sell on a decline.

The main problem with novice investors is that they want to make a profit as quickly as possible. And if the market decides to go into a correction, they get scared of it and try to save at least a lot of their money. Many people have a speculative approach to the market, a trader's view, not an investor's. People don't want to learn, people want to make money, and preferably as quickly as possible.
on the other hand, the difference between those who make long investments is because they have set goals at the beginning and use free money, and are supported by strong psychology. In contrast to new investors today who use hot money to invest with the aim of doubling their money in the near term, from their point of view, a fragile psychology will be very detrimental in the crypto world, because high volatility will make the heart beat fast every time.

Of course bitcoin has never seen a war before, unlike gold who has proven itself to be a good hedge. However, bitcoin as digital gold could be the next great asset that could be used right now. Specially if you are in either of the two countries, when your money is worthless. So the best thing to do is this situation is to have your money hedge it to bitcoin, very simply if you wanted to protect your wealth during and after the war.
Although bitcoin is still new for now, it is definitely a really good option for anyone that wants to use it as a hedge for value. First it has a limited supply, and by having a limited means that it is going to be increasing in value as more and more people continues to invest in the bitcoin market.

A lot of people are still getting to know about Bitcoin, we should be looking forward to more investors in the future. And there are also institutions that are now considering bitcoin an asset to invest in. There are already those of them that have started investing and they will keep investing, while more continues to join and invest.
maybe bitcoin adoption occurs this way, namely a war that makes it difficult for people to access their money, especially when they are abroad, so bitcoin is here as a solution. this answers previous doubts where bitcoin is only a means of investment and trading because the main function has not been achieved. this way more people will see the future of bitcoin, and now investing is a profitable way to go into the future later

Quote
The truth is that at this point Russia cannot demilitarize Ukraine and force regime change. Ukraine is fighting for real independence from Russia. I see the Ukrainian military becoming stronger after this war. Ukraine's anti-warship missile is scheduled to launch by May 2022 to defend her sea from invaders

Yes, because other countries will never allow Russian to demilitarize or force regime change on Ukraine government. Ukraine government has the power to join any Union of their choice or not to join which is the main reason Russian government is fighting Ukraine government.  Ukraine military are fully ready to protect their citizens and properties that belong to their country. Now that the war is coming to an end for the favour of Ukraine government, it will give more power to Ukraine military for not Surrender to Russian government wish over their own wish to join NATO.
Now that the Russian president and Ukraine president are about to meet to allow peace to rain between the two countries,it will give more joy to other countries that interval on this matter last month to reunion the both countries together.

Diplomatic paths continue to be taken so that this war does not spread, we see that Putin does not flinch despite the NATO predicate he will face. On the one hand, Ukraine as an independent country has the right to make its own choices without any intervention from other countries. But on the other hand, Russia considers joining the NATO bloc as a big threat to Russia for military bases facing the country. I hope that diplomacy will soon be achieved so that there will be no third world war
444  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is available on NO KYC Crypton Exchange on: March 22, 2022, 02:32:32 PM
The exchange has a lot of work to do.

From the domain which doesn't sound like an exchange itself and from the introductory/landing page. I guess you guys can work better for it and from the few pairs that you have.

Improve first the marketing of this exchange and you'll get more traders there. Well, I like the chat box on the side so traders can interact to each others but that's just a minimal feature as an exchange.

I agree to this.

I've checked their domain and it's not even close to their name "crypton" seems a little fishy in my opinion. No KYC is not enough for people to use their service, though their whole advertisement is all good as long as they'll be a legitimate exchange that won't run to their customers. And it's much better for them to use ".com" I think, because most of the big exchangers use that one.
It's not that I underestimate this exchange, even though it has advantages without KYC, but in my opinion it's better to use a trusted exchange even though using KYC because I think the safety of funds is the main priority in investing. because to withdraw to a local bank of course a KYC is needed too, so from a tax perspective we may not be able to avoid it. especially if the coins we are going to trade are on a large exchange
445  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where do daytraders store their crypto? on: March 22, 2022, 02:21:52 PM
As a trader, I keep my coins in my wallet and on exchanges because it makes it easier for me to continue trading the next day or a few days later. But if on that day I get a decent profit, I will withdraw the profit to my wallet and keep it there. I don't have a lot of coins on the exchange because I know that it has risks, so I'd better keep it in my wallet. Saving on an exchange has its advantages and disadvantages, but if we can choose a place of exchange that can maintain the trader's funds properly, at least it can minimize the bad risks. So it's up to the individual traders as they must have their own calculations to keep some of their coins on the exchange and in their wallets.
There are so many people who keep saying "not your keys, not your coins" and they do not realize that if I kept on depositing and withdrawing money in and out of my exchange account, that would be both a huge time loss and also money lost as well depending on the coin. I mean I just use exchanges for the trading amount, just like you whatever else I have (long term) stays with my wallet and I am securing them that way.

However, I have some coins in exchanges that I keep on trading, or hold bags that I want to get rid of so I have sell orders, but that's just about it, I can't take them out at all because it would be useless to do so and this is easier.
indeed it is better to put coins on the exchange only as needed, even then in my opinion it is better for short-term trading. For investment, I think it's better to keep it in a personal wallet, so that all security is our own responsibility. especially if we save on an exchange that is less reliable in the long term, then this is a big risk. when we transfer our results back and forth from trading, the risk is only a gas fee that must be paid, but even then it is not big if we use a network other than the eth network
446  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you using trading indicators? on: March 22, 2022, 02:13:37 PM
In doing technical analysis I use the moving average indicator combined with the stochastic. but I also draw using trend lines to analyze buy or sell areas. So far I think these indicators help in determining when to enter the market or when to leave the market. because all that is presented by the indicator is a valid signal, then we must understand the weakness, so that we can do a cutloss when the indicator does not work

448  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You don't need to hodl a particular coin all your life on: March 05, 2022, 07:56:31 AM
It's simply that certain individuals like to do it throughout extremely extensive stretches of time, and that they'd prefer not to spend it regardless of whether they've as of now benefitted at the current cost, they rather hang tight for a greater open door. All we really want to trust that the perfect opportunity will sell and to reappear the market. I imagined that is sound judgment for any ordinary individuals.
We have different level of tolerance when it comes risk and when it comes to management on making out decision depending on the situation which means we would be having different
situation because not all would really be minding on the same thinking on these scenarios. If you do see that it is worth on holding then its up to your own choice
whether its a do or die for you because not all investment turns out to be positive so its not that an easy choice for you to make.
but for me, selling some of it and enjoying what we do is the main choice. especially if we consider that the coin is indeed worthy to be held in the long term. the question is, don't we have a target to sell it... I don't think that kind of thing is a good thing to do, unless we are already living well and intend to do it for our children and grandchildren
449  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC Dip on: March 05, 2022, 07:18:59 AM
I accept it will reach $100k before the finish of 2022 on the grounds that the signs it's creating starting around in this year show this year will be more better compared to a year ago. However, bitcoin still gets an opportunity to break each excessive cost and return to the last ATH, albeit that needs additional time. However long you can pause and have tolerance, you will see the cost begin to increment and when that occurs, you want to set your objective cost to sell.
hopefully the 4 year cycle doesn't happen so we can see the new ath movement earlier. The increase in fees I think is a natural thing, as the price increases, of course with the same number of bitcoins, the nominal will also follow the increase in price. but at a low price like this, it's actually an opportunity
450  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How To Build A Great Crypto Portfolio on: March 05, 2022, 06:06:15 AM
Yes its true. I lost so much in day trading and at last i am now only holding tokens. I always waiting for dip amd bear make me happy because i add some part of my portfolio in ecery bear market.
I choose top 100 coins and belive that one day i will be millionaire. I will not sell panic. Will hold until get my target
it is not easy to do daily trading, but if we can consistently trade daily, then every day we will get income. but if we still feel difficult, then swing trading or investment can be an option. I think don't stop to learn day trading, considering that we will get profit in any market situation. use a little capital at least to keep learning
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top Promising Altcoins That Failed? on: March 04, 2022, 06:59:12 AM
Which altcoins from the last few years where there was a lot of positive talk about it has failed?  And by failed, it means either it has went to 0 or it could be worth very little.  Like it could been 50 dollars at one point and now 0.50.

Just mentioning a few that I remember, because too many.
Usually these coins are often encountered as masternode coins such as agricoins.
but not all of them mean all masternode coins will just go bankrupt, there are some popular tokens that
once followed them also disappeared when they were famous, they are amepay, bonpay, canya and many more.
At least the tokens have been in the top 100 on coinmarketcap, but they had to disappear due to extreme market conditions.
Coins of any generation are not all turned into ashes, although more tokens have disappeared, or have become worthless, but some of them have survived, or have even become lighter. it is not easy to go through the phase of trend change, like ico, ieo, and now nft and defi. Of course, coins with clear rankings will have more opportunities to grow
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie Come to Crypto What they should do first? on: March 04, 2022, 06:31:48 AM
Beginners who come to the crypto world of course still lack experience, so of course they still have a lot to learn to get to know cryptocurrencies. The first good thing to do if you want to invest immediately, is to invest in major coins like bitcoin, ethereun, binance. that way they will be safer to invest while learning
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto in war ukraine and russia on: March 04, 2022, 06:23:35 AM
To some extent the war between the two countries had a psychological impact on cryptocurrencies, currently Binance has distributed donations to Ukraine as a form of humanity towards its miserable people. although now the price is starting to rise again, but we need to be careful of a bulltrap that might occur
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to reinvest into Altcoins? on: March 04, 2022, 06:16:30 AM
But my only worry is what if it's one more bulltrap.
If you think about it, there is a truth in Altcoins like ADA, ICP is likely to have good potential in the future, if you say you have to make an investment it should be yes, this year is a good step to do.

I think like other Altcoins Waves, EOS, XRP might be good too.
I see Waves as potential coin for investing and from yesterday price keep growing up from $17 become almost $21 and looks not any impact after bitcoin price drop last night, keep as potential coin for waves because I see many time can up suddenly and almost 30% change price and looks become worth coin investing at the future. Maybe if you still have saving fund you can buy back Waves although looks reach up still have potential Waves touch all time higher price and back later above $25 until $30, I see not really worry if bitcoin keep going dump because Waves keep stable reach to higher price.
indeed now is the time to get a price discount and get a good price to invest, but we also have to anticipate when a bulltrap occurs, so don't spend our funds at this time, because to some extent the tension between russia and ukraine has yet to find a solution until now, so we also have to be careful, whether it's on any coin
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Women and Cryptocurrency on: March 03, 2022, 02:48:21 AM
we know that business in cryptocurrency is very risky. and already outwardly more men are willing to take risks, therefore it is not surprising that there are more male crypto holders. and this is proven again by a survey that women prefer major coins over nft, probably because nft is just a trend, and what will last is the major coin when to invest, so it is safer
456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is going up during war? on: March 03, 2022, 02:41:25 AM
So called experts even a single person can predict/claim anything about bitcoin but its upto you, whether you’ll believe them or not! i think you shouldn’t cause most of them failed to predict and that's also proved, bitcoin is unpredictable. don't take decisions based on their statement
Moreover, suppose If russia & Ukranians stop using bitcoin, then what will happen? Nothing cause whole world is using bitcoin. So i don’t think this war could highly influence bitcoin price but due to Russia & Ukranians can't use fiat properly , meanwhile they might be start using bitcoin heavily, that could be a reason for behind bitcoin raise up but i don't want to consider this as main reason
People should really be that careful on believing on something because it would affect their mindset and impression which might cause on bad decisions towards their trades.
Just like on most people been saying that bitcoin or crypto prices as general isn't really that anytime affected with events like this neither on having war or sanctions or
bans or something in related.Everything is random and this is how you should bare it up on your mind.
maybe at the beginning of the war there was a rapid decline in the price of bitcoin, if you look at it logically, I think this is because of the panic of investors who want their funds to be safe, so that they are converted to stable coins. on the other hand, it did not last long for bitcoin prices to rise again, this was also possible because of investor sentiment who considered bitcoin to be an alternative means of payment for warring countries.
457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia cut off from Swift is fantastic opportunity for bitcoin on: March 03, 2022, 02:34:22 AM
Already Russia is cut-off from the swift. Added to that more seven banks which are commonly used by the people. The list includes VTB Bank, alongside Bank Otkritie, Novikombank, Promsvyazbank, Bank Rossiya, Sovcombank and VEB. This will even worsen the financial situation of the common people. Already people are queuing on the ATMs to withdraw money. The authorities need to realise all the invasion impacts were making common people suffer and not the president or the ministers.
In war situations, the people who suffer the most are the people, so it's not surprising that if the swift is revoked, more and more people will take their money and make it fiat, many think that later everything will be difficult, so they must have money to continue their lives until the situation is conducive. there is indeed a discourse from putin to use bitcoin, but we will wait for its development, if it is true, then the real function of bitcoin is increasingly proven
458  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for good trading on: March 02, 2022, 03:48:51 AM
If you want to trade, you must learn some rules. Whenever you go trading you need to analyze the market. And especially if you want to trade, always trade for a short time. You will sell only when you see that the market has increased since the highest purchase.Otherwise if you expect to get more but You will lose.So there are some rules for trading. If you follow them then you will not fall into more losses.
I think if we want to make short trades, then we have to do clear targets and stop losses. Of course, we must be very disciplined, because later not all of our transactions will be profitable, but our account graph must increase. mentally prepare us to be disciplined, because there is no bargaining in our analysis plan considering we will evaluate each of our transactions and review them again so that in the future it will be better
459  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: few questions about trading on: March 02, 2022, 03:14:21 AM
Yes that is the disadvantage but check for how many traders that won't use stoploss and see how many times they will keep regretting of losing the balance or fund and try to recredit the account. If you don't use stoploss, you are likely to be losing your capital. Except there are other proven better ways to trade and be profitable than using stoploss.
That is true though but I only use stop loss when I leverage, I can consider using stop lose for 3x leverage or above, but for 2x and 1x I do not use stop loss.

If I open position for swing trading, that is definitely 1x or 2x and I do not consider to use stop loss. But traders will have different opinions about using stop loss or not but in most cases, I do not use it.
stoploss serves to assist us in anticipating the market if it is not in accordance with our analysis. wear or not I think the most important thing we must know the limits to exit the market. if we do not use a stop loss, we can use a cut loss if the market does not move according to our plan. all of these things are related to financial management, don't let daily trading turn into an investment, because the market involves a long time
460  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding or swing trading on: March 02, 2022, 03:04:06 AM
whether swing trading, or long trading and short trading, all have their own advantages and disadvantages. many actually do all three, which have different levels of risk so they have different treatments. indeed day trading is more complicated than swing, but it can be used as daily income for every trader
