Dog forget vnl's ability to make instant resend able transactions without the evils of a centralized master node system...  just like dash

If bitcoin hits a thousand dollars each on this run than probably..  don't expect to be able to buy any quantity at that price though...

Most day traders are already switched over to BTC already.

Finally....  looks like the downward slope has leveled off again.

He already promised it would be in this quarter.

DGB could only pump because there were months of heavy accumulation, people like you are blind thinking a project pumps because of some random spam on twitter.

+1

Listen to this guy. He knows what he's talking about. It's just the way markets work.

Shhhh....  I'm enjoying accumulating at these prices
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNOFFICIAL] VNL | Vanillacoin 0.3.9 UPD! | Node Incentives | ZeroTime | POW/POS on: October 29, 2015, 03:10:56 PM
Because no one is buying....  as far as I can tell that's the only reason.

Price is dropping because no one is hyping..

And because John is not advocated premature hype, that the community has offered to pay for, it is safe to assume that he has his own plans when the time is ripe!!
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNOFFICIAL] VNL | Vanillacoin 0.3.9 UPD! | Node Incentives | ZeroTime | POW/POS on: October 29, 2015, 03:01:57 PM
VNL is the first coin that I advocate buying it as the price falls...

Normally price drops like this happen after huge news that has no follow up.

VNL, on the other hand only has low buyer support.

There does not seem to be any risk in project abandonment.
And the tech is better than any other coin.

I have never been this optomistic while watching prices drop.
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNOFFICIAL] VNL | Vanillacoin 0.3.8 UPD! | Node Incentives | ZeroTime | POW/POS on: October 28, 2015, 10:59:32 PM
John pushes to github on a regular basis, the tech is sound.  Fastest resend able transaction time in crypto...

Whiners have no reason to complain to john
Lower the price is the easier it is to get more!!!
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNOFFICIAL] VNL | Vanillacoin 0.3.8 UPD! | Node Incentives | ZeroTime | POW/POS on: October 26, 2015, 03:58:01 PM
~8750 is VNL floor (per all time chart). BTC most likely dump ~307. Alternatives will rally. Cool

Thank you for your support.

😤😤😤😤😤

Funny the little temper tantrums some people can have on here...  please just move on, or buy back in the next time the price is overextended.

You guys really suck at PR. There has been many claims of the code not being original and were backed up with solid proofs, how would you answer them? Does John even care to save the coin's rep?

Again, code is open source and even if you can't read any code, why do you think the code isn't original when:

-Only coin other than Bitcoin that only requires 1 confirmation on Poloniex - I've posted many times how to test this.

-Only coin that has staking mobile wallets that allow you to move your wallet.dat to your PC from your Android and iOS wallets

-Only coin with near-instant 0-confirmation transactions that doesn't use master nodes.  You can receive node incentives if you have 10,000 in collateral, but collateral is not necessary to be a super peer.  You just need an open VNL port, a certain amount of uptime, and possibly a certain amount of bandwidth.

-Only coin that has encrypted connections and gives you a random port if you have no config.dat.  All your ISP will see is normal SSL traffic while monitoring your ports, which is unlike what happens with all other coins.  If you're using Bitcoin and your ISP monitors your ports, it will know you're using port 8333,
which means it knows you're using Bitcoin.
You're talking about the updates that were pushed on later. Clearly John is a great coder.
I was talking about the basic code that he started with. Code reviews pointed out the fact that it wasn't built from the ground up as John claimed.
The fact that the coin was "built from scratch" was what drew most of supporters to it in the first place..

John was fairly clear that he referenced peer coin while writing VNL from scratch....   you just listened to the wording of some incredible fudsters and took it as truth.

Not Johns fault that you use bitcointalk as your main reference point.

Good luck to you if the words of fudsters are your source of inspiration.

It's just FUD keep accumulating guys Cheesy

When the poorly translated fudsters show up in force  you know someone is getting ready to push!!

Don't let the P&Ders buy your coins undervalue.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNOFFICIAL] VNL | Vanillacoin 0.3.8 UPD! | Node Incentives | ZeroTime | POW/POS on: October 19, 2015, 03:00:43 PM
John! Markets do not works! That is your merit! Constant updating wallets confuses the exchange, they are in constant update! As a result, it is impossible to deduce from the VNL exchange! Maybe you could work more efficiently with the exchanges, or less frequently updated wallets! Angry

Lol, let me get this straight, you are upset because John-Conner is working to hard on this project?

HOLY SHIT ON A STICK!@@@   that is the most rediculous thing I have ever heard.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNOFFICIAL] VNL | Vanillacoin 0.3.8 UPD! | Node Incentives | ZeroTime | POW/POS on: October 15, 2015, 07:11:53 PM
What does ZT lock do?

Allows you to receive coins with zero time even if the second party doesn't use zero time.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNOFFICIAL] VNL | Vanillacoin 0.3.8 UPD! | Node Incentives | ZeroTime | POW/POS on: October 15, 2015, 05:49:57 PM
The new ZT lock on 0.3.8 is awesome, even if the exchange is not using ZT for withdrawals you can just lock the transaction and get it/resend it instantly. Nice feature for some exchange arbitrage in the future Smiley

Awesome, didn't realize that came into effect...  VNL just gets better and better.  Amazing people don't realize what is happening here.  Oh well I keep accumulating until they do!!
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNOFFICIAL] VNL | Vanillacoin 0.3.7 | Node Incentives | ZeroTime | POW/POS on: October 13, 2015, 12:36:16 AM
Answer to 1) all the code was written by John-conner, though the peer coin code was definatly  referenced in building vnl code...

There are a few similarities with the code, similar to using lines like "once apon a time", or "in a land far far away# in a fantasy story But at this time with so many projects using those lines they could easily be considered public domain at this point...  everything that makes up the uniqueness of vnl has no references whatsoever. .

If you gave a good understanding of coding please respond negatively or positively to this post..  I am by no means an expert, though I have some understanding of coding.
If you haven't read the code or have no understanding learn and research before accusing.

So who is winning so far?

Could we get a tally of claimed tps
And a tally of tested tps for projects?
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNOFFICIAL] VNL | Vanillacoin 0.3.7 MANDATORY UPD | Node Incentives | ZeroTime on: October 03, 2015, 01:23:28 AM
Well I may be jumping the gun on vnl starting in on its fourth....
Accumulation will happen until to many people join accumulation through collateral incentives.   Then the fourth cycle will start.

I think it's important not to enter too soon. Will it be 10K to 100K sats or 1K to 10K sats, or something else? No one can tell except the actual people behind market manipulation.

Same goes both ways.
It's easy to watch which way it's sliding, but once the slide has ended there may very well be a very small window to get yourself and your position established.

Also I'm having a hard time finding a coin with a similar predictable growth scale over 1 year......   bitcoin may be the only 1.

your instincts are to simply attack anyone who doesn't agree with your community rather than try to listen to what they are saying. I never said VNL was the same in terms of tech. The issue is if a coin is allowed to die on the vine by a community too stubborn or arrogant or both to address concerns for a coin then it doesn't actually have a right to expect anyone to buy it.

Simple, get a peer review, show you don't need to hide. Cause if you don't soon you will look like you hiding. Communities make or break a coin, please tell me there is a sane person here that gets the coin needs to answer critics with a peer review and then we can move on.

Don't exaggerate, I just said that you are trying to compare different things based on past bad experiences. VNL is a long term project (years, not months), don't expect everything at once. It's constantly evolving and that is great.

Here, follow the digits, the perfect sequence. Wink

Looking at the two charts reveals the true difference of these projects.
Vnl has already had three cycles of boom, and has started into its fourth.

There are very few coins that have trended this way.  Bit coin was one of them.
460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What 2.0 Currency will be the most successful? on: October 01, 2015, 12:41:14 AM
Perhaps 3.0 currencies should not be discussed here, but the best one that I have found, has a device that outperforms all promises has instant transfers, and many other features is VNL.
