mayb be so, but duty is one thing, brokerage fees and HST is another
hst on value of goods; hst on brokerage fee and brokerage fee;
(dhl\ups\fedex charges brokerage fee for the service to act as a broker to import the item)

Canada Custom's always finds a way to nail you.

442  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: blackarrow software advice on: October 01, 2013, 04:46:20 PM
if they ship by UPS, or DHL, or Fedex, you are pretty much guaranteed to pay custom's and HST import duties, and a custom's agent brokerage fee as well of $20+

hi
i have order a prosperxo x-1 from them but after reading their post here on bitcointalk i have a few questions

1. will i have to pay any custom charges in ontario, canada?
2. will this machine have any chance of giving a ROI?

thanks!

Interest check for Lenovo T60 series laptops. I believe this is a good deal, I hope you all agree  Smiley

I have access to T60's. These units are clean, all fully functioning. I have access several different T60 models with the specs listed above being the most common.
...Lenovo is famous for releasing multiple different models of the same line.

These are older, but are great for USB Erupters etc. or as a spare computer.

I must be missing something. solo mining seems to be working, but no shares appear in my wallet.
I get this:

[2013-09-21 11:16:34] Network diff set to 2.25K
[2013-09-21 11:16:34] New block detected on network

but no shares have appeared, unless I am missing something?

This coin still need working pool i think.
But good to see the solo mining works well.

When you are solo mining there are no "shares" of a block. Only full blocks being found.

any idea how much bandwidth a pool on a server would use?

Put lotterytickets.conf in c:\users\yourname\appdata\roaming\lotterytickets

The conf file should contain the text from the original post.

Re-launch lotterytickets.exe

THEN launch the solo.bat file

You will be using the lotterytickets-qt client to listen as a server and the TIXMINER.exe will connect to it (on localhost 127.0.0.1).  You will use the hash power of the GPU, yet have the qt client do the connection with the rest of the network.

Here's hoping someone is staying up all night to set up a mining pool.  Smiley

same error, no love here.

'invalid url or credentials'

not working for me.
lotterytickets.exe -server

same error with solo.bat, invalid creds or URL. u and p the same in conf and solo.bat flies

can we solo mine yet> I am getting invalid credentials or URL error in gpu miner.
or I need to add 192.168.x.x in addition to 127.0.0.1:9332?

Use the .conf posted, change the username\password. Add your username\password to the solo.bat file. Run the wallet as a server, lauch the solo.bat file. Works fine for me, except for getting blocks that is.
