So far Monero, Zcash, Verge.
SumoKoin might be interesting to follow, a monero fork with very low market cap. Big potential.
DeepOnion and Xspec can't be taken seriously as long as people keep spamming everywhere about it. Without credibility, no big investors will look at them.

This coin was a fork of Monero, am i right or not? Please correct me if i am not right.
Anyway, why you think that this will make a x10? are there any reasons behind that idea? There are already a lot of privacy coins. Like pivx, deeponion, zcash, and a few more.
Yes, it is a monero fork. You can find every infos about SumoKoin on their ANN topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1905086.0It is a good coin but I cannot see the team on their website, I only invest in this coin if I am sure about the team.
Here is from their ANN topic again: Core developers:
- Sumoshi Tanaka - Haruto Tanno - Bill Aue - Vu Quang

With such a low market cap, there can be some HUGE return if sumokoin takes off. Even a "small" market cap of 50 millions would already mean 10x return ! But, such a low market cap also mean that it is still an unknown coin that can easily be forgotten.
It is amongst the most rewarding CryptoNight coin at this time, so every GPU miners knows about it. Privacy and anonymous coin are all mooning right know. If the team is good, the community will follow and so the price.
I would say: if you have 500$ to loose, buy some coins, and forget it for a year or two. You will have lost 500$ at worth, but you may have 50k as well.

its a shit coin. Even the homepage has some contradictions.
Shitcoin top 20 with over 1 billion market cap. Plus your argumentation regarding contradictions on the homepage is impressive ! Not sure you will convince anyone with your shit post ! ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

I live in Siberia ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Was looking for any information about possible lowest operating temperature for D3. It shows -44C today. Was wondering if I put ASIC outside in the shed without heating would it work? Is there any other limitation to overclock except for temperature? -44C... ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) I am freezing just thinking about it ! I have read in another thread that cold isn't such a big deal while running, BUT the miner won't start if it was off for some reason. I think the guy just turned his miners so they would blow hot air at each other, to heat them up. I think in your case, temperature shouldn't be a problem even if over-clocked a little. You might run under-volt if you over-clock too much, but I guess the HW number will tell you if you are good to go or not. In anyway, I wouldn't over-clocked them too much as they are already OC at 537, and it will damage your hardware faster. But as I live myself in a tropical country, I am certainly not the best to answer your questions. Maybe try to ask on Blissz firmware topic to get "expert" opinion.

The circulating supply is 167 Million tokens, what is the total ever supply ? Is it different from 167 million ?
I believe all the tokens are circulating already. But I am not 100% sure. DAO.casino team isn't active here, but you can contact them by mail directly. They respond pretty fast, and are very helpful. Check at the bottom page of their website.

didn't found info while googling around so I'll ask here if anyone is willing to help and/or experienced something like this.
couple days ago I managed to build a little farm with ~45 D3s, so far all of them are working nicely except of one, hashrate drops to 0 after around 10 minutes of working, after rebooting it starts mining on 19Gh/s and then bam and 0. I did try remote steps like resseting, reconfiguring, lowering frequency, etc. but still same. With my experience in bitmain product in this case I have two options, play with firmware or change the control board itself. can anyone give any advice? cheers
I recommend these steps: 0. Check temp, should run at sub 80*C. Any higher and you risk damaging your equipment. 1. Update firmware. 2. unplug for 1 hour or longer 3. Check all Cables. 4. Reset to factory settings 5. Turndown Freq. Are you getting anything other than "O"s under ASIC status in the bottom right of the Miner Status screen? I have recieved some D3s through eBay that had issues, i unplugged them, checked all the cables, then did a complete reset, updated the firmware and i have had no issues since. Would you mind letting us know how your farm is going, Where you are located, what arrangement you made for power, your monthly income, and issues you face running such a large operation. I run 7 ASIC's in my basement and i live on the East coast of USA, so right now cooling is not an issue, i just had an electrician run additional outlets so i could run all 7, and it runs well. I check on it 4 times a day, and correct as i need. 0. Temps on all D3s are below 77 1. don't want to touch at this point 2. I can do it tomorrow on place 3. I can do it tomorrow on place 4. did it couple hours ago 5. turned down. on 200 it is working smoothly, now jumped to 400, let's see what it will do. Chips are showing O, that's why I'm sure that boards are OK. If today I won't be able to fix it remotely I'll try physical steps tomorrow and let you all know what happened. Since my el. fee is 0.7-0.1 Cents mining with those D3s are profitable. In fact I can afford to pay el. fee from my other farms incomes and hold the dash. you can see all the other things here: ps. sorry for low q images and dirty work, now everything looks more fancier )) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FWjRXNh0s.jpg&t=663&c=6gD-zV554drjPw) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FZkLQJygs.jpg&t=663&c=yT3ihn4kMyl13Q) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FeficRBps.jpg&t=663&c=e85uHGHGOVSlew) update: after couple hours of testing I came to point (freq) from were miner stops working, so after freq 475 the miner stops working. what can be done here? Maybe update will help? 475 isn't too bad. You should try to update bitmain firmware. They claim it improve stability. The last one is from november. Updating takes less than 5mn, just make sure to backup first. If doesn't work any better, and you're still not satisfied with 475, give a try to blissz firmware. You can mess up with voltage and frequency per board. Might be able to go a little higher...

No joke, McAfee has endorsed Verge to his clients.
Are there any profof for this claim? Mcafee is really crazy guy. I would love to invest where he invest, he is somewhat right in his coin choices. Verge is nice coin to invest. His twitter account: https://twitter.com/officialmcafee?lang=en

Please post link guides or websites to learn about investing in btc ethereum litecoin and Other coins I am a noob and I want to learn everything How to analyze when to buy and sell How to make money by mining in clouds etc
Number 1 place without a doubt: Bitcointalk.org. And you can see, everybody agree on this ! Then you can check crypto news website: cointelegraph / CoinDesk, ... CoinMarketCap to follow crypto prices. Also, register on different exchanges to have them ready when you need. IMO, you shouldn't start day trading, but instead look for a couple of altcoins you believe in and invest long term. Then, when you feel more comfortable, start trading slowly. Be careful with youtube as many are just trying to pump their shitcoins !

Another shitcoin. All those forks are just killing bitcoin slowly, and destroying crypto credibility.
Just keep it simple: - If bitcoin can increase scalability and reduce electricity mining waste, it will stay the king of crypto. - If bitcoin can't, it will die, and another coin will replace it. And it won't be a fucking fork taking over !

There appears to be a bug in v1.12 (non-beta). Can you please confirm if this is indeed a bug, and if so, is this fixed in an upcoming version? Notice how the frequency configuration does not match the frequency on the status page. This is a pretty big deal, imo. Hopefully I'm missing something. Thx. Configuration: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.ibb.co%2FjAQCs6%2Fadvanced_configuration.png&t=663&c=GIm2LnaoO-bvKw) Actual Status: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.ibb.co%2Fh6BVem%2Fstatus.png&t=663&c=lMoluzPd3nKvrQ) Kernel Log: https://pastebin.com/embed_js/XviQk8H6Your boards are connected wrong to the controller board. Use 1 to 3. You're on 2 to 4... Awesome ! I had the same issue, and now back 1 to 3. Thank you guys. I did wonder for a while but then, forgot about it. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

Just FYI for you all the miner just stopped working 30 minutes ago. I bought this miner off amazon and have arranged for a refund. Done with BTC gonna look at ALT coins!
Good you can get a refund. You never know how and how long the miner has been used when buying a second hand. Always better to buy directly from bitmain, you get a new product plus warranty at the best price.

Our data transfers are nothing, we will not be affected in the least bit imo.
I agree with you. But it is not much about the traffic size, or the extra price they will charge, it is about the control ISP have now over the internet. A stupid example: - with net neutrality: Government wants to shut bitcoin down? They can't, maybe they will close a few centralized exchanges. - Without net neutrality: Government wants to shut bitcoin down? They agree with ISP to block any mining activity, any website relative to bitcoin, any kind of bitcoins exchange, and of course this forum !
|
|
|
The death of net neutrality is a good thing. Keep the government out of it. We don't need them censoring what content we have access to. Allow the free market to operate. Some ISP tries to throttle you or block crypto sites then another ISP will pop up and offer better service. Free market FTW!!
You can't possibly say that if you have a clue about what is net neutrality. Or what is means not to have it anymore. As it was said, it will be like buying TV channels: Basic facebook/wikipedia 10$, gamer pack +20$, Netflix +10$, youporn +5$, extra adds with cheapest package, ... So you will have to pay more for any extra. BUT, the few big ISP will be able to select what they allow you to see. So no more torrent, of course. But no more freedom of speech, because they will select what news you can read, and block those they don't like. Same for blogs and forums. No more VPN (or maybe on pro package only), no more "anything free", unless they allow it. In the end, everything that made internet great, will disappear. The few big ISP corporations will control it entirely, and choose for you what you are allow to watch, and/or how much you have to pay to watch it. I that really what you meant ?

I wonder: the amount of BTC to become VIP is the same since 2013 ? Because that is almost a million $ donation to get this status !!! ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) Yes, it's still the same as before and that won't change. It would be unfair to those who donated in the past plus this is a BTCitcoin forum, not a $ Dollar forum ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) On top of those, forum doesn't need any donations (like in the past). Fair enough, thank you for the precision SFR10. So no more Bitcointalk VIP I guess ! Unless someone wants to show off? Do you get more bounty stakes with a VIP status? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

I have done nothing to the firmware except upload the newest version. I am getting an accurate hashing rate and payout from the pool though.
Interesting, must be specific to S9. Not sure where your HW come from. Maybe you can lower the frequency a little and see if it is any better. You should try to contact bitmain while you wait for better answer.
|
|
|
I too am randomly having issues with the S9 and HW errors and sudden skyrocketing of hash rates and then down to nothing and then back again. I am hashing correctly with the pool at 14ths so it is working correctly I am worried about longevity. https://imagebin.ca/v/3kla6B3aXgbbYou have a problem with board 2. Way too much HW. It does affect your hash rate, and might be a sign a short life expectancy for this board. Do you have a modified FW to have different frequency per chains ?
