Just sell half of the GPU farms, keep the other half for mining for fun and wait for good times...

443  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Would a C1 survive without water cooling in a -1C cooled room ? on: December 15, 2014, 12:27:47 PM
hello, would a C1 survive for 5 days in a room with -1C ? without Water cooling and only 4 Fans ?

You can always modified by putting in some heat sink, aluminum or copper wire and glue it to the center of the chip then fan would helps. But I recommend you not to do it unless you really know what you are doing.
444  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: December 15, 2014, 12:18:35 PM
Well I did say every month I would add 4 miners, so here are the next lot installed.

Currently, all 8 are hashing at 4TH

I believe you need some shelves, you will run out of floor space eventually.

Ok I apologise for posting this in two different forums bit it seemed to fit in two different catagories.

Ive built my gaming rig and its great for whatt i use it for. Its a great gaming machine, and i know that inherrintly means its not built to be a bitcoin miner. But im away from my system for a while at a time so I figured id look into doing something profitable inmy spare time. So heres my system specs I was wanting to know if i could be of any use and what sort of cut i could ecpect with my hardware.

Gigabyte board
Fx 6350 soon to be overclocked.  As high as my new cooler will allow.
gtx 780ti
8gb ram.
1000watt gold certified psu

Like I say I know its not an ideal machine but If I can be of any help? The electricity isnt costing me a dime atm so....... might as well

Yes, you can still mine x11 algo with your GPU. you can look into wafflepool.com and calculate if it is profitable for you..

i just check wafflepool.com.

but i can't see any profit calculator!!!

i miss it?

can you share the link?

Well there is no calculator in wafflepool.com. You can see here for the current x11 profitability http://www.wafflepool.com/stats/x11.

448  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 12k, Should I start mining? on: December 14, 2014, 02:16:04 PM
Recently I have taken an interest in mining BTC and found my way to this forum. I have an investment of around 12k, is it worth investing into mining hardwares. If so which and where should I purchase these hardwares at since half of the research sites I've been too are either scams are seems like scams. Thanks.

Bitmaintech is one of the manufacturer which is really trusted one. I think it is a good time to invest in hardware now cause the difficulty increment pretty much stopped. Hopefully it will stay like that for months..
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to best utilize GPUs was Re: What kind of GPU do you need to mine even a small amount of BTC on: December 14, 2014, 01:23:43 PM
What about Groestl or Vertcoin? Are these actually viable to mine with GPU or even CPU as they are touted to be?

You can still mine Groestl coin or vertcoin with GPU, I dont think those algo have asics yet. If your electricity is not very high, you can still make some profit out of it.

Hello!

First of all let me clarify, I am a total noob in investment programs. I have been doing some research from some days and have found an investment site with a good reputation in the market. According to my research the site is new in Market and offers investment in both E currencies (BTC & Perfect Money).

If you want to be 100% save from keyloggers, use the screen keyboard. I don't think they capture your screen...
453  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The actual best way you have found to earn bitcoins? on: December 14, 2014, 01:16:58 PM
The actual best way I found to earn bitcoins is by working for it. Bitcoin is also money, you can never get it easily without working or sweating for it.

Agree, I always think that working in McDonald or any other place is much easier then earning bitcoin using free way (faucets), in the end using the money that you earned to buy Bitcoin is much much easier and faster.
454  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Best pool for a 1Th/s miner on: December 14, 2014, 01:11:55 PM
Hi, what would be the best pool for a 1Th/s miner, with high payout?
I currently am using beta.mining.bitcoin.cz but it seems fairly bad in my opinion.

Mine at ghash.io. So far I like their interface, statistic and you can trade your bitcoin for more hash or to other alt-coins. You can also sell your mined btc immediately for USD Smiley.

note: ghash.io pool 0% fees.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best mining machine? on: December 14, 2014, 01:06:02 PM
Greetings

I am new to the digital currencies and I have read a lot about them
But still I have no knowledge about the major differences between them

I would like to know whether SP35 Yukon mining machine will be suitable for feathercoin and litecoin?
I am planning to buy one soon

I saw how difficult would it take to mine bitcoin so I thought about buying the mining machine and start mining feathercoin and litecoin

Shall I go for it or no?

Thanks  Grin

SP 35 Yukon Mining Machine can only mine sha-256 algo which means only bitcoin and other sha-256 coins. Feathercoin is neoscrypt and litecoin is scrypt so you can't mine those.

SP 35 is a good investment for you if your electricity rate is cheap, below 0.10KWH. But there is also a big risk to as bitcoin difficulty might suddenly rise really fast like few months back. So good luck and make your own decision.

The market price for account has dropped a lot, 238 activity should get you 0.18 max... Sr member should get you around 0.2 btc and above depending on the activity..
