441  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Hardware wallet survey on: August 29, 2023, 09:44:45 PM
Ano ang issue with Ledger?

Trezor ang next kay Ledger so mukhang ok ren ito as an alternative, not sure lang if may ganitong issue ren si Trezor.
442  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does monitor size affect trading? on: August 26, 2023, 09:43:01 PM
Is it just for aesthetics? or does trading on a big screen have an effect on the outcome of your trade. I often see that professional traders have created a work space for themselves where they invest heavily into hardware and big monitor screens. So I wonder if trading on bigger monitor screen has a better effect on trading because I think that with the big screens a trader will be able to make better analysis. Is this my opinion correct or is there no special effect that trading on big screen has?
You should trade at your most convenient way, and if having a big screen can work with you then so be it.
Just to remind you that your PC Monitor will not affect your trading at all because it will always depend on your analysis and your strategy towards trading.
There are traders who are just using their mobile phones to trade and the screen is not an issue with them, I think you have to develop your skills that upon looking on a plain price trend you can already see the possible scenario of that trend.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to identify shitcoins? on: August 26, 2023, 09:37:04 PM
As an investor, i did a lots of invest in altcoins. Those were suppose to be good that time with having good hype, good team and community. But with having all of thats, most of altcoins scam after a time! I wonder for some altcoins, they were suppose not to be go but they scammed without any reason! And hundreds of altcoins are in my wallet, which are turn into dead shitcoin now.
New projects are more prone to this, and if you want to earn more then invest on a good altcoins that is already listed in the market.
Though if you really want to become an early investor then do your extensive research about the project and analyze it very well.
Remember that a new project can fake their details just to attract investors, then you must be careful and better to have more resources when doing your own analysis about the project.

New Zeland managed to be close to USA for big part of time, but while watching game it was obvious that's only matter of time when USA will run away.

Kinda thought that New Zealand have that one in the bag. USA tuned it up big time on the second quarter and made sure that there are very minimal turnovers on the third. After that, I know that New Zealand is already losing hope, with most of their plays no longer centered on the inside and are just trying to take the threes whenever possible. It was a good effort, but certainly not as exciting since the game is pretty one-sided when the end of the 2nd quarter is nearing.
It was a good game for both teams and USA really work hard to erase the double digit lead of New Zealand and prevail at the end.
This may not be the most dominant players for USA but I think they are still doing good and making a great name for their own.
445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does it take to play casino? on: August 26, 2023, 09:19:42 PM
It must have capital Cry

However, which one should you be more dependent on when it comes to making money from the casino!

Is it really good luck for you?
Which basic technique to use?
It's all about your capital and luck, though in sports betting it requires some analysis and techniques so you can win some.
Gambling games are more based on luck so if you are going to play with it, better to target on how you can enjoy playing. Don't be too serious with the casinos as they have the system to protect their reputation and to protect their possible income. Again, gambling is more about your luck and if you feel unlucky in gambling better not to pursue.
446  Economy / Gambling / Re: Exploring the Math Behind Crash on: August 26, 2023, 09:07:17 PM
Not just crazy but it can also make you go broke because you are testing every possibilities. That is not a healthy way anymore to gamble. Isn't it obvious on why they kept doing it? That is because they want to make living off gambling.

Although there are also streamers who can get paid and professional gamblers but I am not referring to them. Formulating strategies might affect our game in a way that we can last a little longer but in the end, the casino can still reign. There are well-known strategies but as we see, they are less effective. I think that is because the casino already knows about them and they already adjusted their system.
Even if we try to solve such pattern or formula, you can still get the same answer and that is the house will always win.
Imagine having such numbers, you will really go crazy even if you are good at math. Better to use your math skills in Lottery which I think have the chance to decode a good strategy to increase the probability for you to win since there are rumors about solving it and many won in lottery already. Crash game is a system operated game, and casinos are more wise because they have to.
447  Economy / Gambling / Re: I have solved the problem of complexity in provably fair games on: August 26, 2023, 08:54:59 PM
something I kept asking myself was the following: suppose you get in touch with some casino and that casino asks you to show your service, so you show the casino and they spend your service, they reach some agreement, how can you be sure that the casino Won't you take a guy who knows coding and copy your idea and then stop making a deal because the casino is selling your idea to other casinos?
Thank you for the earlier advice, I will be contacting them (if I can since I am a newbie).

To answer the question: first is to get hired as an advisor with a fixed term contract. If someone thinks my qualifications aren’t good enough for that then it’s end of story with that casino. Second I will consult legal professionals for this matter. It’s a challenge, but I can imagine that once my idea is revealed, any changes to their provably fair games with a consequent increase in revenue must be paid a royalty fee to me. They shouldn’t have a way around it. It’s something to be carefully worked out with legal professionals.

Now if they pass on the idea to another casino that’s a tough question to address, but actually an intelligent question. In general, casino owners are different, and are competing with each other. On the other hand, a big enough casino would never do such a thing with affiliates. They’d rather profit from their biggest operator if they have to choose between small and big ones (if they have many casinos)
This could be a great service that you can offer to the casinos, I'm thinking about what process you are going to do so you can be sure that you are safe from any harassments from the casinos. Taking a great team to handle this is also ok, just make sure you understand the terms and also have your own terms to limit the casino and you can avoid them from selling your idea or work to other casinos without your approval, this term can serve as your protection.
448  Local / Pilipinas / Re: PNP May warning about playing Axie Infinity! on: August 26, 2023, 08:43:50 PM
Is this an old news or talagang may nagpapakalat ng ganitong gawain with Axie ngayon?
Well, mas mataas pa nga ng bilihan noon kung tutuusin with Axie and sobrang swerte nung mga nauna dito and now sa tingin ko dahil sa sobrang daming tao na nalugi nagbabala ang PNP with regards to this. Ang tanong nalang talaga ngayon is, may nagiinvest paba kay Axie ngayon?
449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Responsible Sports Betting Shop Operations on: August 25, 2023, 07:08:11 PM
Imagine, stopping you from placing your bet? I don’t know if this is the right approach but its a better prevention than to say sorry later on. If that manager is sensing something bad with your approach in gambling then its better for him to talk to you and give a good reason for you not to gamble again, because seriously there’s still a way for you to gamble if you wanted to. Playing for a week is not an addiction for me, that manager maybe saw it differently.
450  Economy / Gambling / Re: Thought's on many major fiat-crypto payment gateways ditching casino business's? on: August 25, 2023, 03:47:51 AM
Why would a crypto casino care whether it can or cannot strike a deal with a fiat payment gateway?
Well, I think there are still individuals that may prefer that especially if they're just starting in crypto or some individuals want it as an alternative for a crypto casino so these casinos still put it an option to some.

Don't know the deal with Stake and BC.Game adding it as an option but I don't think they'll put it there to just ruin their reputation. Either the OP is just making some story or there are miscommunication between these payment gateways and the casino. The OP didn't even make an update or provide more information about this.
Many gamblers are still looking for a better way to cash in, maybe this is why many still prefer a fiat currency.
I'm wondering though why they choose crypto casino if they will not use any crypto at all. What's specific site we are talking here?
I'm interested to know about theses crypto casinos who are working towards fiat adoption, this could be the trend.
451  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Nakapagtry naba kayo dito sa Sats cafe on: August 25, 2023, 03:20:38 AM

Actually this is not the first Business to offer the same mode of payment, yun nga lang most of them is hinde na nagooperate.
I remember a blog by Coinsph before about restaurants na nagaaccept ng Bitcoin as mode of payment, pinuntahan ko yun before unfortunately nagsarado na pala ito agad.

Sana makaya nila yung volatility ni Bitcoin at sana may back-up plan sila to sustain the business, magandang idea ito need lang talaga pagaralan ng mga business owner kase masyadong risky.
452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: August 25, 2023, 02:54:49 AM
Yeah, Courtside 1891 is official streaming of tournament. It works well, but it's not cheap. Don't remember exact price, but there you will get all games in high quality and English commentary. You also can check on Wiki local TV braodcasters for each country
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2023_FIBA_Basketball_World_Cup_broadcasting_rights
I can't find the price range for the subscription fee on the site you recommended. Maybe it's necessary to sign up first before we can see the prices. Anyway, if that's expensive, then I guess I would just rely on free streams. I think there are plenty out there, right? Has anyone here been able to watch free streams during the last FIBA World Cup?
I just saw a $37 subscription fee annually, I'm not sure though if this is a legit rate.
Though it says there that you can actually subscribe for free and get free updates, though its not live but still you just have to sign up on their site. I'm not trying this one since our national television with have its live telecast, we're lucky for this.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you feeling the old professional bounty managers? on: August 25, 2023, 02:06:58 AM
There's still new project coming-in despite of the market situation or the current trend, so I assume this is not the reason.
If you can see, most of the new projects today are being handled by the same manager most of them are under Sir Hhampuz, he's still active and that's a good sign.

We cannot say they are retired or what, maybe they changed their focus and can't handle bounty due to their busy schedules. This is beyond our control but still we have good managers who are still active, we should be more thankful to them.  Wink
454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: History of Gambling From Ancient Times to the Digital Age on: August 24, 2023, 09:53:07 PM
Way back then, gambling is a decentralized. It's played between players and there's no casinos that act as intermediaries. This both serves as a blessing and a curse since it ensures that there's no house that takes a major cut out of the prize pot, and at the same time it limits the whole gambling system to limited prize pools, games, members, etc. The introduction of Casinos in the late 18th century revolutionized the gambling world for better or for worse. Right now, it shows no signs of ever stopping or becoming detached from the gamblnig world no matter how much we try to boycott them. The closest thing we could is a decentralized casino which is pretty much the same thing, with the added benefit of knowing that they only ever act as a mediator in the casino, never someone who facilitates it.
The decentralized gambling before becomes illegal simply because of the casinos who influence the government regulations, imagine you can gamble anywhere before without being afraid of getting caught by the authority. Well, this is how the government regulate gambling and they believe that having your business registered makes your activities more legal. This industry continues to grow as the technology grows as well, they managed to adopt so they will remain in the business, there's a big money here so I think casinos will not stop from growing too.
455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: August 24, 2023, 09:35:45 PM
I have a question: Does anyone here know if there's a site that will stream all the games? Or is there a subscription similar to the NBA League Pass, so we can easily watch the games we'd like to see?
I'll check it tomorrow on the actual FB page of the Fiba World Cup. But don't you worry, just do a simple search tomorrow and you'll see a lot of streamers that will cover the matches.
You just have to be more patient though on watching those live streamers as they may get restricted too.
Online subscription might be one of the option and there's a thing called "Courtside 1891", I'm not sure though on how this thing works and if this is their official site to watch live.
The host country might also have their live streaming on their social media page, you might also want to search for it.
456  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Mga POGO posible kayang magamit sa money laundering ? on: August 24, 2023, 09:17:02 PM
Ang daming irregularities with POGO and unti-unti na itong lumalabas, I don't know why there's still a POGO in our place kase ang alam ko karamihan dito ay nagsialisan na.

Sa lugar namen halos wala nang POGO unlike nung time talaga ni Duterte na parang Chinese town na yung lugar namen.

Hopefully mas maging mahigpit are government agency naten to regulate POGO kase kawawa ren yung mga Pinoy na nadadamay because of their illegal activities.
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vitalik Buterin Fuels Coinbase with $1M ETH! on: August 23, 2023, 09:01:53 PM
I guess Vitalik Buterin might have sent over $1 million worth of ETH to Coinbase with the intention of trading or investing in other cryptocurrencies or assets available on the platform.
Most probably this is the reason and seriously, its not even big to influence the whole market, maybe he just want to do some trading as the market is getting more cheaper.
Well, ETH is a good coin already but Vitalik also know how to diversify, its good thing that the money is coming in the market and if there's more investor we can expect to rise again from this drop. There's no big news with ETH though, hopefully they are working into something big that can actually pump ETH and be the reason to remain as the top altcoins.
458  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: vave.com - is a rasists on: August 23, 2023, 08:47:56 PM
Probably not a discrimination but part of the sanction, but if its not on their rules in the first place then why impose it.
Though if I understand this correctly, they just freeze your winning money and didn't let you to get everything which I believe is unusual.
If the site really follow their rules about the withdrawals and the restrictions then better to communicate it with you.
Anyway, stop posting the same comment on their thread your account might be tagged if ever.
459  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: This Will give you motivation to learn finances and market the right ways on: August 23, 2023, 08:13:41 PM
Get motivated learn the right things dont speculate so much but learn how it works the. You know prices.
Bitcoin price
Everybody waiting for 15k or lower but i see heavy buy orders on 18-21k price. I call 19300$ lowest for the btc in the next one year time period.
And It seems like 35-40k highest price for btc.in the next 2 years.
Mind to share your own analysis why you predicted the price to go lower than $20k?
Learning how to analyze is a big thing in trading and you should not skip this part because its very important and we all know trading is very risky so doing this without the right knowledge is just like throwing a money. The price of Bitcoin becomes unstable and its an indicator that we are still in a bear market, though I'm confident that we will end this year at a higher price in preparation for the next year bull run.
460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do star players affect the odds of a match bet? on: August 22, 2023, 09:45:30 PM

My question is simple, do star players really affect the odds of a bet, or wager or stake on a match, putting into consideration the four levels of contribution in a match, as I mentioned earlier?

Some gamblers are betting based on the star players skills and the other basis for their bets.
Star players will contribute no matter what, the only question here is who is their opponent? where they will play? There is other indicators that you should consider on betting. The odds changes due to many reason and having a star player can totally affect the odds, you can just notice this on a team with the star players.
