Anyone had any issues with rapidballs recently?

Before going to bed last night I could have sworn I had something like 120+ games left to play, which at 10 minutes a time would be another 20 hours.  This morning, nothing to see in the results.  So where have my bets gone, and where are the last 24 hours results?

Is there an issue when placing 288 bets, in that the results checker only shows results from bets placed in the last 24 hours, so 288 bets. 10 minutes a draw = 48 hours.  So when you come to check the status of your bets on day two, they are nowhere to be seen because the original entry was made more than 24 hours ago.

Have just placed another 288 bets, at 9.30 GMT.  So these should be live until 9.20 GMT on Friday.   If I log in say 12pm on Thursday, will they still be there?

The results area is certainly not showing all results for me for the last 24 hours, as I know I matched 2 balls a few times yesterday evening, but when I log into the checker this morning, nothing to see. Embarrassed

I think this is a glitch that has occurred when chaning from 5 minute draws to ten minute draws.  As 288 x 5 minutes would be 24 hours,  Now its changed to 48 hours, does the results screen need changing to show list of all bets placed in the last 48 hours, not 24?

The main concern is, are my bets that were placed more than 24 hours ago still being entered?

The true madness will begin when guys from @1 will remove orders and use BTC to buyyy! back to the @60+

Theres "only" 30BTC at the 1 satoshi level.  They could stick that all on the top buy at 23 and it would get eaten in about 4 hours of the continual autosells.  imho of course.

Ahh cool. Thought it had crashed when I hit the 5 balls.  Phew.

Coinbomb LOT 1 and LOT 2 reset. Currently sitting at 10k and 1.6k!!
From my own experience the last week I would strongly recommend to not invest there. Service unavailability and changing rules while you already invested. Very disappointing...

It wasnt the changing of time limits that stopped people buying the 2m LOT bombs, it was the fact that 2m LOT became worth $500.  So who was going to take a risk of losing that on a pyramid game?  If they bought LOT 1 at 2.2m, they would need to sell it on at near 4m. Nobody was going to buy that bomb I'm afraid.   Sad
Well maybe. Addiotionaly chances got lowered as 50% of all visitors (Firefox users) were excluded for at least 24h. Still waiting for an excuse.

The reason firefox was disabled for 24 hours was that people were cheating to get the early bomb prices by using firefox addons.  There was plenty of time for people to either use another browser, or buy the bombs in the 4 days after the issue of firefox cheats was fixed.  Before this was trading so well on cryptsy, the bombs would go to 2M and LOT 1 even went to 7m once.  But as soon as the coin started trading and jumped in value, playing that game was just too risky.  imho "easy pie" has lost their coins, and "dude" may be lucky to sell the 1.4m LOT4 now.

I am not so sure about the bubble.. was there any specific news that came out recently which increased the demand for BTC or was it a natural progression. Normally a rise in $100 a day would be a bubble but its the cryptoworld and anything is possible. The last time we saw prices hit the 1000 was due to America accepting cryptocurrency.. so i wonder what i'm missing there

A bit of positive news about zynga letting people buy stuff with bitcoins, but allowing kids to buy pigs and sheds for farmville with BTC is not going to set the world on fire imho.

Just a thought that if there was any profit made from trading or selling the premine, a simple 3.5BTC buy could walk this back up to 21 in a blink.

Turned half my holding into BTC and then USD while BTC was around $950.  As I think thats a bit of a bubble on BTC imho.   Will watch both BTC and LOT and maybe convert some back to reinstate back to my original level of holding in LOT at a later date.

where is that sell volume coming from :S

Sadly there was no real volume on the buy book, so the autosells and panic sales were enough to eat through the buy orders at various points.  Next pause without any serious buying will be 11/10 imho.

Not great news, but its just the volume of sells vs buys.  There may be a group of people here that believe in the long term of this coin, but they dont have enough BTC to soak up every coin being sold, and even if they did - they may as well let it drift lower if they want as many of them as possible before the upside they believe in occurs.  This has now moved to a very long term hold imho.  Just as some here have said, it may now be a few months before we start to see real value return.  If lotto gets accepeted on the payments site, and the casinos arrive etc, it may help move upward.  For now, for me, its probably mine something else, and hold what LOT I have left for the long term, buying LOT with any spare BTC exchanged from other coins.

EDIT:  The buy order at 1 satoshi just jumped from 10BTC to 40BTC.  Good luck to the people who added to that.  There are now 4 Billion coins on that 1 satoshi order.  Which is over 25% of the coins expected to be made, ever.   No chance what so ever people are getting those orders filled for a few years imho.

Depends on what the aims of the person are.   If somebody has bought a load of mining rigs on credit card, they want the money to pay that back asap.  They may just autosell whatever they mine, whether that be LOT or any other alt, just to get the money back quickly.

When its just a case of covering the electricity, and the hardware has already been paid for, then they could just sell enough to cover the electricity cost, and hold the rest and hope it goes up.  They are the miners that are free to just play the market.  Those who have costs or finance to cover will autosell until their costs are covered imho.  With the mass influx of miners in recent months (and Im one of them) - most will be looking to pay back their rig cost before holding anything long term imho.   Some will be able to afford to play the game and hold etc, but the vast majority will want to pay back the cost of that fancy new graphics card as soon as they can.

I noticed that hashcows would only mine LOT for like 8 minutes at a time because of this and then move on to something else. Looking at hashcows site just now, it look like they dropped LOT entirely. I don't see any stats for lottocoin on the front page anymore, at least that is good....... for now.

Also noticed the same thing for LOT on Hashcows too.  Though even if multipools drop it, we still have the fact that this (and every other) alt coin is more profitable than having money in a bank.  At an aproximate 500% rate of return after almost all expenses.  Its a perfectly feasible business model to fill an industrial unit full of tens of thousands of dollars worth of rigs and set them running.

The difficulty retargetting and random block reward is one of the best defences this coin can have against multipools, but it still doesn't stop them.

I have a feeling that multipools may decide to drop this coin in favour of more "stable" rewards when enough of their members complain about the returns from LOT.   All it takes is a run of low value blocks, or hitting it for only one or two blocks then difficulty raising and them leaving, then coming back five minutes later when diff drops again.  Their miners will spend an increased percentage of time switching.  Lots of lost shares and overall will just cause lower returns for the multipool.

Thats the theory anyway.

more walls needed on cryptsy.....buy buy buy....this is the cheapest you can get these coins now......so buy as much as you can and lets all hold......we shall head to the sun soon to say HI.....then to the moon where we belong...........BUUUUUYYYYY....LOTTO TO THE MOON

Not wishing to spread fear, but people said 50 was the cheapest.  Then 40, then 30, and now at 20, this is the cheapest.  Those autosells are relentless.  And to quote a previous post, as long as after all costs are taken into account, mining coins still returns more than bank interest, people will still sell.   Im considering buying a whole bunch more mining rigs myself.  Its a better rate of return than any savings account anywhere.

Why is it a good coin?  What makes it different?

Im not saying that in a negative way, just that the answers to these questions need to be known and publicised in order to convince people that holding, rather than autoselling is the correct course of action.   Then its a trade off back to the price vs. multipool mining swings.

There hasnt been a good coin released recently that hasnt been attacked by the multipools and its value pegged low accordingly.  These multipools are self defeating in that they keep the value of just about every single alt coin pegged at the same level.  Its like they play whack-a-mole.  Just as soon as any coin looks like breaking upward in value, they hit it.  Until the next one pops up, and they hit that one instead.  No coin gets a chance to grow.

Those autosells keep coming.  Though the 21 is holding for now its slowly getting eaten away.   Though there are not a great deal of manual sells being placed at 22 or above, which keeps things in check for now.  Doesnt take many buys to wipe out the manual sell orders at 22, so that keeps flip flopping between 23/22  There seems to be a nice match of people sticking buy orders in at 21 and those autoselling to keep that steady.

The worrying thing is that there is virtually no resistance between 20 and 10 if we see an upsurge in autotrades.   With difficulty now back down around 12 instead of 19, it may work its way back up the multipools list.  Which then fuels the autosells again.  Seems to have found a level for now though, but keep an eye on that wall at 20.

With a half decent level of sell orders and a mahoosive 22BTC buy order wall, this could get dragged down.  Doubtful enough supply to fill that 22BTC, but thats enough of an order to move this market imho.
