Well they can do whatever the what like they did in the last process I guess. I also find it quite interesting. Let's say they succeeded in bringing Messi to the team. They will not pay any transfer fee but still they will have to guarantee Messi a great deal of money for his salary. Of course there will be other payments too (signing-on fee etc.). I checked the official UEFA website and many matches will be played on neutral venue indeed:
1st leg:
Leipzig - Liverpool in Hungary
Atl. Madrid - Chelsea in Romania
Mönchengladbach - Man. City in Hungary
2nd leg:
Everyone plays at their home venue.
I see this as an advantage loss for Leipzig, Atletico Madrid and Gladbach. Maybe we still don't have supporters in the matches yet but playing in your own stadium still is a plus. Maybe it won't affect Leipzig and Atletico Madrid much but Gladbach is in a worse situation now I think.  Manchester City could win that game easier than I expect. Of course the things I say will be depending on the conditions of these stadiums too. |

I am also one of those who are looking forward to the Leipzig vs Augsburg match, because as you said this match can make a lot of money. Because
I also believe Leipzig will win the game, and I will bet quite a lot on Leipzig's victory. Moreover, Leipzig players are on fire to catch Bayern's points.
A difference of 7 points is a distance that is not too far to be pursued, so I'm optimistic that Leipzig will try to win the game. Especially seeing
his opponent Augsburg whose performance is very bad, in the last 5 matches suffered 4 defeats. So Leipzig should be able to beat Augsburg,

Well, we officially now have both Spanish giants out of Copa del Rey, all eyes now on La Liga (and perhaps Champions League). Barca didn't actually play so bad from what I could tell. Just that Sevilla's gameplan worked out better. Koeman must be feeling like Zidane now. All or nothing in La Liga.
Sevilla-Barcelona game was just the first leg of this draw. The second leg is going to be on March 3. In the first game, it seems according to the statistics that Barcelona had a better performance but they were not good at finishing. Sevilla managed to defeat them 2-0 (Kounde, Rakitic). I don't know why in the hell Koeman prefer Messi playing as centre-forward. I think he should play behind the centre-forward. His natural place is there and he can make more contribution by playing like that. Barcelona's job will be really hard in the rematch. But they don't have a too low chance to eliminate Sevilla. |

where the game lies this evening is Everton vs Tottenham fixtures. The game is still in extra time but its looking like game over for Spurs already. Conceiving a goal at an extra time after a thug of war kind of real time play was the last thing they would have allowed to feature in this game.

What a game it was! I was waiting for a competitive game but not a score like this for sure. I enjoyed the first half the most. We saw 5 GOALS and it was incredible. After Tottenham got 1-0 (Sanchez) ahead, Everton made a great comeback and brought the score to 3-1 (Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison, Sigurdsson). Tottenham managed to decrease the goal difference to 1 (3-2 - Lamela) in the last minute of stoppage time. In the second half, Sanchez found the equalizer (3-3). But Everton got ahead again with the goal of Richarlison (4-3). Tottenham weren't willing to give up and Kane carried his team to the extra time (4-4). But in the extra time Everton wanted to finish this job and managed to defeat their opponent in this huge game with the goal Bernard scored in the 97th minute (5-4). It was also a very tense game that there were 7 YELLOW CARDS. I have never seen Tottenham playing like this for some time.  They put up a great fight. |

Ajax 2-1 PSV
We have seen a nice KNVB Beker quarter final game between these teams. Ajax were the more dominant side. They got 14 shots 5 of which were on goal. PSV didn't show a performance as I expected from them. They got only 8 shots 1 of which was on goal. We saw an absolute Ajax dominance in the first half and they were 2-0 ahead with the goals of S. Haller at the end of the first half. We saw a more balanced match in the second half and Ajax scored an unlucky own goal. After that, PSV couldn't find the equalizer and got eliminated by Ajax.

I agree with you about Kane. If I were him, I would never think of extending my contract with my club as they don't fight for being the champions in the Premier League. Tottenham were the champions the last in 60/61 season which is too bad for a big Premier League team like Tottenham. I'd like Real Madrid to sign him. I think he will fit them really well and make the team much stronger surely. |

Atletico have 2 missing games and Barcelona have 1. Atletico can still make the point difference 11 if they win those games. As I said before, there is a tight schedule ahead of them and the results they get from there will be very important on the road to the championship.
They've been doing seriously well with the pressure. I hate having games in hand but they're actually just winning points (and don't forget Celta was a tough team) and all thanks to the super genius move to bring Luis Suarez. He's going to be so important against Chelsea too with Champions League coming up, imagine a 34 year old guy breaking Ronaldo's record and fit as a lion;) Atletico Madrid are so lucky to have a fantastic striker like Luis Suarez. He is really a beast. He scored 16 goals in 17 La Liga games so far which is incredible for a player who is 34. I wonder whether he will manage to break a new goal record in a season in La Liga but it is very hard. Messi holds the record now with 50 goals which was unbelievable. 7 Days until Barcelona vs Paris Saint-Germain. Barcelona will be without Araujo. Nowadays Barca is not competent to challenge to any other team! As a Barca fan I will remain positive that they will win. But, I have feeling PSG gonna win the game. We should keep a watch out how it goes this season.
It is one of the games that I wonder what is gonna happen the most. Barcelona don't have a bad performance like they had many weeks ago. This will help them be really focused on this game for certain. But still a tough game is waiting for them then. Because PSG have a better squad quality and so better alternatives for most of the players. Barcelona have a tactic that depends more on Messi and Griezmann. If they don't get injured until the CL game, Barcelona might withstand PSG in the first game. But I see PSG as a little more favourite side for the first game. |

Who would have thought that Jazz will be the first team to reach 20 wins? I certainly didn't and based on the poll results, no one did either as they didn't receive a single vote. We all knew they are good and well balanced team with deep roster, but I didn't expect them to be ahead of the Lakers & Clippers.
They totally have a great ball rotation this season and I never think that they will come this far since the one came in my mind when talking about strong teams in the west Lakers,clippers,Nuggets,Dallas and Spurs I never though they will placed first behind on this teams. Seems Jazz is a good title contender this year and its really a big boost to their rooster since Clarkson is playing good at the bench, Hoping the see him grab the 6th man of the year this season. its only 20 games win, still a lot to go, most teams start to go hard when the playoffs get near so that they can reserve more energy in the playoffs, I think jazz will make it to the playoffs but, they won't make it to the west finals as the west are so loaded with good teams, if they want to compete for the spot, they need to double their performance in the playoffs. I also agree that Jazz won't have any problem making it to the playoffs. I even think that they will finish the Western Conference at least as the 3rd. But there is a way different atmosphere in the playoffs. It won't be like regular season games for sure. I hope they can have a draw against Lakers or Clippers in the playoffs and we can see whether they will be really powerful in the playoffs too. |

Looking at these odds i would go for a win of Freiburg against borussia Dortmund.
Freiburg is having a pretty good run in the last few weeks even if they lost against Wolfsburg last sunday.
Dortmund on the other hand even struggled against Paderborn in the dfb cup this week.
Well i should have listened to myself and put some money on freiburg on saturday, but of course i didn't  . Dortmund is really playing a horrible season this year and i think they have to think again about their overall strategy. They gap between bayern and the bvb is growing each year and now even other clubs overtake dortmund. To only buy very young talented players is just not working out. They also need experienced players that are top class but in that category they only have hummels and reus, which isn't enough. Wow, you really predicted it correctly. Dortmund are still not a credible team to bet on. Teams like Leipzig, Wolfsburg, Frankfurt and Leverkusen are already ahead of them this season. But I don't really want to see Dortmund in a situation like this. They must be at the upper places competing with Bayern for the championship. Reus is 31-year-old now and he doesn't have a performance like he had in his old times, unfortunately. He has played in 19 league games and he has 3 goals, 4 assists. He missed important penalties too this season. I think Haaland and Sancho are the players who do a really big job on attacking and there is a possibility for them to leave the club at the end of the season. |

Lazio-Cagliari game was really exciting in the second half. Cagliari found important chances (3 of 6 shots were on target) but they couldn't make use of them. After Lazio have got rid of their mediocre form, they started having a great performance and they have been the winning side in Serie A for 6 weeks. Their next game is against Inter in Giuseppe Meazza. |

Beşiktaş beat Konyaspor 1-0, although there were only 10 people left. This year, in the first half of the league, Konyaspor beat the big 3 but today it played very badly even when its opponent was 10. In my opinion, Konyaspor's coach İsmail Kartal will most likely come this week.
Besiktas had an incredible performance despite playing with 10 players for a very long time. Konyaspor didn't have any shots in the first half. It didn't change much in the second half too and they only got 3 shots none of which was on target. They beat Galatasaray and Fenerbahce this season but they couldn't manage to do the same thing to Besiktas even they had one man advantage. |

I was completely disappointed and angry to see Barcelona's play-style in the first half. They played defensively, but there was no coordination between the players. But in the second half, they went back to their old form. And won the match with 3 goals. I think it's a new match strategy of Koeman's.
Although Barcelona won the match, I would say their defense is very poor. It is difficult to accept such a bad defense of a world class team like Barcelona. I doubt if this defense will be able to put up any resistance against a strong team.
what is a new strategy, to play just in the second half  , just joking it was a tough match for Barca, but an important win to keep with Sevilla and Real, obviously those will be top four teams Osasuna made it finally, against Elche, and Valencia took point in Bilbao, seems that better times are coming for Valencia what about Celta tonight, could they made it on Monday? it is usual to have disruption on Monday, so I will give them a try, just for statistics, form and play are on Atletico side for sure The whole thing changed after Messi showed up in the game. He scored a goal right after he started playing. Barcelona started being better in the rest of the game too and managed to win this hard game. Barcelona continually prove something that they are having too much difficulty when Messi is not in the game. I wonder what kind of a season they will have in the next season when Messi leaves which seems too possible. |

I think it is still early to make a prediction like this. There are still 15 weeks and who knows maybe Manchester Utd could leave them behind e. g. in the last weeks. Leicester are also very good and they are just 2 points behind Manchester Utd. But I see Manchester Utd having a bigger potential to do this comparing to Leicester. Lastly, Liverpool are very bad on defense in the absence of Virgil van Dijk. They are still struggling in their matches and I believe they have least chance to do this from now on. |

Hertha VS Bayern betting for Bayern, Because it is obvious on who's going to win, Bayern is a formidable team and keeping a bet will certainly can gain you profit but a boring fight to watch since Hertha will surely not stand a chance against the champion. I looked at the last head-to-head matches and saw interesting things there. Considering the last 5 head-to-heads, Bayern didn't get a comfortable result in 4 of them. But it is a fact that Hertha have been really terrible in this season. For this reason, I agree with you on Bayern getting a win in the match easily. |

The Barcelona team is reducing its reliance on Messi by this I mean that Griezmann was not in the form before, if Messi had not scored or assisted, it would have been very difficult to win against the small team of Barcelona. But now Barcelona seems stable enough. De Jong, Pedri, Griezmann are all able to score now.
But clearly from the highlights, Messi was still involved in everything! Which is nice to see of course but it keeps me worried that the successor is yet to be identified. I mean, that magic feet and brain my god. Still, they did really well to come back from 2 goals down though but I wonder if the extra 30 minutes will not be helpful for them to stay fresh. I have said the same thing about real Madrid before and I will say it for Barcelona as well, you do not replace these players. Madrid had trouble finding "another ronaldo" and they just sold him because 100 millio for 34 year old player was an awesome offer and they imagined if they could pay 100 million for another young star they could have replaced him but we all know how they failed, you can't replace a ronaldo. Same goes for Messi and Barcelona, you can't replace messi because he is messi, there will never be another messi (well not any time soon at least) and his peak was something football has never seen before. So at the end of the day what can you do if you can't replace messi? You replace his average, which means if you have lets say a bad right back and no messi, you do great right back and replace messi with another great player (not at messi level) that way you decrease average in one position but you increase it on another and try to cover the difference, do this in 4-5 positions and you will be good. I definitely agree with you. Some people really don't want to understand this. These kind of players are too special and it is one of the hardest things to fill their place. We might see a player like these again e.g. after 30 years. But for now, there is nobody who can replace them. |
