Is it not worth dumping digibyte now and getting into NAUT? It will have the best of both worlds, the digibyte dev plus a lot of financial backing which digibyte doesn't have as much of.

Amazing coin, will be 10 btc for 1 NAUT by the end of the week with Obama announcing it as the new world currency. Get in now and be super rich by next week.

444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EFL] Electronic Gulden - NEWS! - ANDROID WALLET AVAILABLE! on: May 09, 2014, 01:06:01 PM
troll and noob?

I am holding more than 20% of the mined EFL coins........

I have been looking at all the country coins over the last couple weeks with the impression they all scams, however I think the other Dutch coin is looking like it might be a diamond in the rough. Will have to see if they get other merchants besides Subways though.
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ISR] Isracoin - The Israeli cryptocurrency on: May 09, 2014, 03:58:00 AM
Guys country coins are so last month, color coins are the in thing now. Seriously people keep up with the times.

Jokes aside there is one country coin that seems to be the real deal but waiting to see if they get another big merchant before I invest.

At the rate bitcoin price is dropping it might not be worth it for these guys to commit the crime and you might get them back.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quark on: March 23, 2014, 07:52:39 AM
About half the people I know have left the alt coin market completely. After GoX there is only a few exchanges that can be trusted and they purely bitcoin/fiat exchanges except for cex.io .

I know recently there has been a number of alt coin exchanges being hacked and scammed with the most recent one being coinmarket.io (This has been a savage scam to say the least), honetly if someone put a bullet in this exchange owners head I would say good riddance to bad shit and I didn't even have coins on that exchange.

The latest scam is Tompiet and before that was CryptoEX.cc. The coinmarket.io scam is still currently running as they leave the site open to take in more deposits, no one has exposed it to the mainstream media yet.

Then hacked exchanges include openex,coinex,freshmarket.io,poloniex etc. It's still debatable whether openex,coinex,freshmarket.io were hacks and not scam.

So yes all alt coins are suffering because of greedy twats running exchanges and causing massive distrust within the alt coin community.
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.6 HARDFORK MANDATORY UPDATE on: March 19, 2014, 05:04:12 AM
Dogecoin BTC LTC charts and analysis

http://cryptohedge.info/market-update-18314/
Thanks. If I understood correctly, this means: "wait for 103 satoshi before investing", am I right?

Dogecoin price is holding up well considering the carnage other coins have endured lately, price is down by 50% where a lot of coins are experiencing 10 fold drops.

Also many new comers to crypto are getting burnt with new scam coins like MAZA,MRY,AUR,WOLF etc Devs pump them by trading amoungst themselves and unsuspecting new comers
get caught out and days later watch there portfolios drop a 500 - 1000%.

This is also forcing more people back into BTC and LTC as a safe haven, many folks also switching back into fiat after the GOX incident, so just bad times for everyone even the non
scam alts.

449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarket.io | New, self-moderated support and news thread. on: March 17, 2014, 10:20:20 AM
This is typical scam style approach.

In order to keep a scam going as long as possible they will feed you info you don't really want to hear, so info that isn't solving anything but tries to keep the public calm.

They also won't deal with direct issues and in this case the main one being bitcoins. Instead they will dance around other issues involving alt coins and divert attention.

Like I say well planned, well executed, no one is being held accountable, for the amount of btc thats been stolen incredibly low exposure. It's a complete win/win for those involved with the
exchange.

Remember if they wanted you to have your btc back you would of had it by now. They develop a full blown exchange with API to list on coinwarz and coinmarketcap, these guys aren't retards as much as they pretending to play dumb with you all. Wink
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarket.io | New, self-moderated support and news thread. on: March 17, 2014, 08:38:35 AM
Since I am team lead for security at a multinational firm this case did intrigue me to say the least. I will be writing up  a PM to stealth in what I feel needs to be done. Luckily I didn't have any coins on this exchange but all I am going to say is the guys behind this are intelligent individuals and this whole event has been well orchestrated, if they wanted to give your btc back you would of had it by now.

The main key for this person/s was to keep a low profile, 20 times more btc in value is at stake compared to the poloniex hack yet not one mainstream article about it. Smiley

Doge removed from the exchange as popularity skyrocketed... imagine the dogecoin community rallying up against this exchange.

This is the perfect scam, high reward, low exposure outside of this ANN and it's exactly how this scam was intended.

The key thing here is make the rest of the crypto community pay for the sins of this exchange owner, this isn't some trivial amount we talking about and this needs to be exposed to the mainstream, I believe it will have a negative impact on the price of bitcoin, just no one outside of bitcoin talk forums knows about it.

Now is the right time to take this mainstream esp with GOX in the spotlight, another story will force needed change with exchanges... damage the price of bitcoin and you will
also dmg the bottom line of the underground world , then it won't just be you guys after them.

Think about what I have said, each coin listed on this exchange was high potential / low exposure coins which would generate good income for the exchange while the exchange itself would
go unnoticed.

To the exchange owner, much respect and well planed but I do hope you get caught for all our sakes!
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarket.io | New, self-moderated support and news thread. on: March 16, 2014, 02:02:48 PM
Really happy I used cryptorush instead to buy up iCoin.

I knew this site was scam after this tweet.

Applying the nospendzeroconfchange patch to all coins (preventive measure). A poll will be added to forums regarding resetting orderbooks.
no spend zero conf(ig) change patch

Scammer with a sense of humour.

If I am not mistaken this is the first scam exchange depending on the GOX outcome .
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Cryptokk.com | Exchange | Open Shops Market | Alternative to stock-markets on: March 12, 2014, 07:27:57 PM
No offence to the exchange owner, but just found out coinmarket.io was a complete scam exchange and even with high volumes they were getting they decided to shutdown. For any new exchange where the owner remains anonymous be extremely cautious!
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarket.io | New, self-moderated support and news thread. on: March 12, 2014, 07:11:19 PM
I am willing to give 20 BTC to whoever gets to the guy first. Photo proof of "talking" to him requiered. PM me if you are interested.

I do know some debt collector firms in most countries that should be able to help out since we do give a hand to firms where debtors try to get away with it by travelling abroad.
Depending on the country I can call in a favor and for 20 btc we will break a leg or 2 in the process.

Just pm me the details and I will see what I can do.

454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Didn’t I Invest In MazaCoin or Auroracoin? [blog post] on: March 04, 2014, 09:11:17 PM
Next big question will be: Why did i not invest in KlondikeCoin? Just had a huge block reward drop. Many webshops accepting kdc now, since added to coinpayments.net (ended 2nd place). Committed community and active devs. Lot happend past few days. Wouldnt be supriced to see a huge raise in price soon.

KDC might do ok for your average buyers, but the name is just terrible. Can't see many ladies jumping for this one or 99% of the coinnames for that matter.

Obv AUR and MAZA are scamcoins both being pumped by devs with a fake story that will never come to fruition, of course the smart people will dump out while they ride the scam
wave and make some decent cash on it, but beware if you not out when the kids realize it was a scam.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ixcoin TODO on: March 04, 2014, 09:05:03 PM
Well,
It's a demonstration everything happens because someone has worked to obtain it, not out of magic.
Think about the work made by the Bitcoin Foundation, and still Bitcoin struggles to be accepted. Now think what it has been done between 2011 and 2013 for ixcoin. We are like two years behind. That's why other 6 months looks like a suicide to me.

I agree.  In 6 months we'll have over 1,000 CrapCoins on the exchanges.  Major dilution and major hype.  Older coins will be in trouble if nothing is done sooner.

I clicked this thread by mistake thinking it was iCoin, btw IXCOIN looked really bad botting the the coinpayment votes. You guys had the most but when they coinpayment admins checked the final
results you didn't even make it on. This didn't do any favours for this coin.

I disagree, people will get tired of the scamcoins and start looking at more solid long term coins again. Right now I hold BTC, LTC and iCoin , also thinking about NobleCoin. When the dust settles the coins that actually have value will rise up. Don't forget the big money still hasn't entered the market and I doubt your major investors will look at flappycoin or dogecoin if they are serious.
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarket.io | New, self-moderated support and news thread. on: March 04, 2014, 08:57:28 PM
As long as my iCoin is still there I am happy, I have plenty btc and ltc but that iCoin I got at the prices I did will never be that cheap in 3 months from now.
Picked up like 10k for under 00002000, I can already make 50% profit on poloniex and over 100% profit on swisscex and those prices will be a joke in 3 months.lol
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Auroracoin may be the most exciting altcoin of 2014 on: February 28, 2014, 03:04:55 PM
This would make for one crazy scam coin if the airdrop never occurs and people buying for 3 times what they worth at current prices Wink
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If an altcoin were to overtake Bitcoin, which would it be? on: February 20, 2014, 12:14:05 PM
