The Pandacoin (PND) devs and community are honestly one of the most active and dedicated in the entire alt-coin sphere. Their plan and professionalism puts them on par with BTC. Most of these coins on BCT are abandon by the devs, or they hardly make an appearance at all. There was good discussion happening in the official thread before it was locked. I just wish the mods would reconsider their actions in this matter

BCT actively allows ScamCoins to be posted to their message boards, absolutely no vetting, yet they ban the ONLY active thread that is attempting to COUNTER ScamCoins for an offense that can only be interpreted as breaking the rules.

Are you saying theyre too rich? Groestl is a great algo that is efficient and doesnt take up a lot of energy. I just wish more groestl coins would come out. X11 is great, too, but I think its just trendy cause DRK uses it and DRK has risen so high in value. |

Version 2.0.0 is now available on https://github.com/pandacoin-official/pandacoin and as windows binary. OSX has been causing an unexpected regression which will be looked in a few hours. A few things to consider before updating: 1. You NEED to back up their wallet.dat. The software will automatically do a copy but it's better to be sure. 2. The wallet will take around 10 minutes reindexing so please be patient. 3. The wallet might crash and give an error after importing (Windows 7 has been tested successfully). This is okay - just start the wallet again and you should be good to go. PND has a lot going for it and is the cryptocurrency of South East Asia/Central Asia.
The PoS (Proof of Stake) ensures a long future for PND as the wallet now acts as a personal, decentralized bank that earns the consumer/merchant interest on the coins they store.
