lol so for the people with just a small amount of power it will time to stop doing any bit mining that will hurt it even more when tons of users give up.  Then it will come down to the high rollers if they can keep spending big money to keep increasing their hashing power.

451  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I know if I find a block mining solo? on: June 24, 2011, 10:54:42 PM
lol i wonder if it would be worth tossing old cpus and gpu in as solo to just see if you can get lucky and use strong gpus in pools to get a steady flow of coins.
452  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Has the ship sailed on mining profitability? on: June 24, 2011, 10:48:55 PM
i thk mining will still make a profit it would seem as mining is harder to make coins the prices of coins should go up so it all =s out in the end.
453  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can bitcoins be lost? on: June 24, 2011, 10:46:57 PM
well if you lose your walet.dat and redownload the program on a new pc you would get a new id so yea im guessing you would lose your coins but they might have a failsafe that if a id has not been contacted in a long time the coins get recyed back into the system im not sure.

455  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many bitcoins are you mining each day? (another pissing contest) on: June 24, 2011, 10:37:44 PM
Wow, I wish I had got into bitcoin earlier Sad

BTCGuild ...

Rewards Summary
You generated 1.1559097 BTC in the last 24 hours.

Back on July 12, 2010, I generated two blocks that day on my quad-core CPU rig - before the subsequent difficulty increase made me turn off the CPU miner.

Me to lol iv owned a 5870 and 5970 for like 5 months and only just started mining and i had a 5870 for 3 years i could of had 100s of coins by now or more.  I joined 3 days ago and now you make less but the coins should go up in price sence its harder to mine.
456  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many bitcoins are you mining each day? (another pissing contest) on: June 24, 2011, 06:43:59 PM
looks like my coins took a huge drop from 1.28+ to 0.78 cause of the bump in difficulty.
457  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 1379223 on: June 24, 2011, 06:34:50 PM
